Sydney and Charlie met in the summer of 2018 while working at Camp Vesper Point as counselors. They bonded and became friends during Charlie's last week at camp by waking up early to write skits for their brother-sister cabin.

Charlie and Sydney stayed in touch with their camp friends through reunions in Chattanooga.

Charlie and Sydney went to their youth leader's wedding. Zach is now the one officiating Sydney and Charlie's wedding!

Sydney and Charlie spent another summer together working at CVP. Shoutout to Robert Row on the left, who is the second officiant for Sydney and Charlie's wedding!

Charlie drove to Columbia from Clemson to see Sydney's baptism.

Another CVP Christmas party reunion

Charlie and Sydney went on a camping trip with their friends Mattie and Tyler once they were all sent home from college due to Covid. They all played a lot of Scooby Doo Clue.

After the camping trip, Sydney and Charlie went on their first date. The timing wasn't right, but they stayed friends for the years that followed. (Unfortunately, there is no photographic evidence of this date.)

Much to Charlie's disappointment, Sydney chose to go the USC, the rival school to Clemson. This rivalry has been a point of contention over the years.

Charlie and Sydney reunited with camp friends during winter break, as it had become a yearly tradition.

Mattie and Sydney came to Clemson for Charlie's graduation from Clemson. After graduation, they played board games with friends, starring their favorite - Clue.

Sydney and Charlie ran a 5k together while their friend Mattie ran the accompanying half marathon. Charlie and Sydney ended up spending the entire weekend together. Afterwards, Charlie realized that he had feelings for her and planned to ask her out.

This picture was taken shortly after Charlie and Sydney's second first date and right before Charlie asked Sydney to be his girlfriend. They love to workout and be active together!

Sydney lived in Greenville during the summer of 2023 for an internship, which provided a perfect opportunity for Charlie to finally ask her out. They went on a lot of fun dates in Greenville that summer, including Books Over Drinks at M Judson Booksellers. They still have yet to read the featured book, but they had a great time being together!
