It all started with a swipe. Sean & I discovered each other on the dating app, Bumble. With the swipe of a finger we found ourselves setting up a date at Timber Creek Bar & Grill. Sean poked fun at my llama-like fringe sweater and leather leggings and I silently judged his bright red Vans. I thought the conversation was flowing and the night was going well until Sean's friend Dan coincidentally walked into the back bar where we sat and became the third wheel to our first date for the remainder of the night. Unbeknownst to me, Sean invited Dan to our date before it ever even began... clearly he didn't have high expectations for what would come of it. He could've at least told me so I could've ran into a friend too.

The night at Timber Creek ended with Albert and a stuffed bear that we could've snagged for $250 out the back door.

We ran over to Tully's Taproom and encountered some witches on that October 23rd night. They insisted we would get married and that we had to invite them to our wedding. Hopefully they can find work their sorcery to make it to our special day as we didn't catch their names. We laughed it off at the time, but here we are now. Three years later and it only made sense to move into this next chapter of our lives with our third wheel along side us on the night of our engagement.

We've had our ups and downs and my best friend made it a point to let Sean know early on that he waved every red flag I cautioned at the naive age of 18. To my surprise, hes everything I never knew I needed and Im so glad he came with a special addition who quickly crept his way into my heart. The last three years have provided us with countless opportunities to grow and we only continue to learn how to better love one another.

Our love isn't perfect and undoubtedly we will have challenges in our future. We can only pray that our unwavering dedication to one another coupled with our stubborn personalities will continue to pave the way for growth and a lifetime of happiness.
