Tyler and Mollie met at the end of 2019, while their Army unit was preparing to deploy.

They were deployed to Jordan from February to November 2020. During the majority of this time, they remained friends. Right before coming back to the U.S., they admitted they had feelings for each other.

In December of 2020, Tyler and Mollie officially started dating. Mollie visited Washington and met Tyler's family.

In January, Tyler visited Boise and met Mollie's family. While he was in town, he was convinced to move to Boise.

Tyler moved to Boise so the two could start their lives together.

Tyler and Mollie took their first major trip together to Hawaii. Tyler was thinking about proposing then, but he hadn't found the ring.

Tyler and Mollie took a vacation to the Virgin Islands, where Tyler proposed in Sapphire Bay.
