On November 25th of 2017, Travis left home to go "to the gym with Sonny" or at least that is what he told me. He was really going to meet up Jessica, Amy, Lee, John, Nicholas, Christina, Amanda Randi, and little Charlie girl. He met them all at Keith's Farm where he had already picked out our annual Blue Spruce Christmas Tree and they all decorated the tree with ornaments, and pictures of us.

A couple hours later he came home and told me he had to jump in the shower as soon as he walked in because he was "sweating from the gym". Come to find out later in the evening he had to jump in the shower right away because he was covered in glitter and sparkles. After his shower, he told me we were leaving around 1:30 to go with his family to pick out our Christmas Tree.

We left the house and met up with Chris, Cherise, Avilyn, Amy, and nana & headed to Keith's Farm where we also met Breezy and Sonny. We started walking down the paths to where the Blue Spruce's where located. Once we approached the area, I noticed there was one tree was decorated, but didn't think twice about it. I actually said "oh wow, they decorated one tree must be like a advertisement of what this tree would look like in your home". I know.. stupid!-LOL! Travis then directed me to the tree and I could tell by just holding his hand that he was nervous. As we got closer to the tree I noticed all the pictures were of us. Suddenly, Travis started proposing and got down on his knee pulling the ring out of his pocket and asked "Vanessa, Will You Marry Me? After obviously, saying YES, I noticed family and friends popping out of surrounding trees. We popped a bottle of champagne and eventually left Keith's Farm with the tree.

I couldn't have imagined a more thoughtful or romantic engagement! <333
