Park at the Abe Martin Lodge. There is a trail behind the lodge which will lead you down to the Amphitheater for the ceremony. Follow park signage for "Trail #3 to Amphitheater and Saddle Barn." Please let us know how we can assist you if you anticipate needing accommodations.

Reception

Lower shelter - Brown County State Park
Brown County State Park Road, Nashville, IN, 47448, United States
Attire: Casual
The Lower Shelter is a 1.7-mile (5 minute) drive from the Amphitheater/Abe Martin Lodge. There is a parking lot located behind the Lower Shelter which can be accessed via East Road. Again, we will have signs to help you out! If you're feeling up to it, the hLower Shelter can also be accessed on foot! The walk is about 0.38 miles from the trailhead to the shelter. From the Amphitheater, continue on Trail #3 and then keep left when you reach the parking lot/Saddle Barn. It is all downhill and does not have any lighting, so keep that in mind for after the reception! Alternatively, if a downhill trail doesn't sound appealing, but you don't mind 172 stairs, there is yet another option for you! After the ceremony, walk back towards the lodge and keep west towards the Trail #1 trailhead. When the trail splits, follow Trail #2 to the right. You will see a rock shelter as you are coming down the stairs-- this is the Lower Shelter.
