We met at the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre in May 2019 and were introduced briefly before auditioning for Macbeth. Zach made a self-deprecating joke about how he used to be cute as a baby and Katie said that he was still cute, making him blush.

After their first date, where Zach turned Katie's napkin into a rose at dinner, Katie knew that she would fall in love with Zach.

Katie was not alone though - Zach was caught looking at engagement rings by her relatives at her brother's (Max's) wedding !

In between bouts of board game tournaments, Zach & Katie were again paired in- and out-side of the theatre.

We moved in with each other early on in the pandemic era. We spent TONS of time outdoors and playing 2-player board games.

After much discussion, we decided to elect to foster a puppy looking for their fur-ever home. Zach surprised Katie with their new foster pup, but he ended up being a permanent addition to the family.

We got engaged in 2021 & made it through many troubles & travels.
