Following our rehearsal dinner, all are invited to say hello and kick off the wedding weekend! The establishment is within an old military base, so it can be difficult to find - we recommend using Uber or Lyft as it is a popular destination. We will be out on the back patio, come and find us!

The Pearl is a funky, little, mid-century motel, a mere two miles from our home. It was nasty fisherman's lodging until a few years ago, when it was completely revamped to its original glory (and then some). The vibe is killer, the food is incredible and the cocktails are some of the best in the city. It's also where we stopped for a nightcap, right before Matt handed me a love letter, professing that he was ready marry me.

Now that you know it's awesome, here are a few other things you should know to ensure you make the most of it:

- Its small. You will be close to other people, long gowns are not recommended.

- There is a pool right smack-dab in the middle of everything. Start your diet now and bring a bathing suit.

- This will be a somewhat, non-traditional wedding. Dinner will be a taco buffet for our guests to serve themselves, with no assigned seating, no bouquet toss and a (non cake) surprise dessert!

- Beer, wine, champagne, well drinks and a specialty Blenneff cocktail will be open bar until you drink us dry... then you're on your own (we go to a cash bar ;)

- There are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Dance with us on the 'dancefloor', play board games in the shag lounge, tuck away for peace and quiet in the corner booths, swim in the pool, or judge us from the balcony tables.

- The celebration at the Pearl will wrap up at 11:00pm, but there will be a nearby afterparty at Harbor Town Pub and a 24 hr tattoo parlor... just sayin...

- We have the entire hotel on Saturday night. There is an amazing Sunday brunch, but it gets CROWDED, so get there EARLY... like before brunch starts at 10:00am. Make a rezzy.

Immediately following the reception, those who aren't ready to turn down can continue to celebrate after a 5+ minute walk down Rosecrans to Harbor Town Pub.

We want to say a proper farewell to all who celebrated our wedding with us. Brunch at the Pearl begins at 10:00am and gets extremely crowded. We recommend making a reservation, and cruising over early. We will be chilling there all day, so even if you prefer a less popular scene for breakfast, please pop in to say goodbye.
