Anyone who would like to join us is welcome to (pay as you go). This hotel is 1/2 mile walk from the reception hall, or there are taxis and/or uber available.

The Carlyle Dupont Circle, a Kimpton Hotel

The simplest way to get around Washington DC is using Uber or a Taxi, or for shorter distances simply walking. The Metro is a low cost alternative, but be sure to leave extra time. We recommend against renting a car because traffic can be bad and parking is limited.We have a Google Map with the important wedding locations <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/d/embed?mid=1olMIP_S2PFwZS0ZMJnrMsM61jck" target="_blank">here</a>. If you do not have the Uber App you can install it on your phone by searching for Uber in the App store or from the Uber website <a href="https://www.uber.com/" target="_blank">here</a>. General Information

Our reception is located at 2020 O st, NW, Washington DC. This is just off Dupont Circle and metro accessible. There are dozens of hotels in the Dupont Circle area, if you would like to find your own hotel. No official events will take place at the hotel, but Daniel and Kate will breakfast in the hotel restaurant at the Carlyle hotel on Sunday morning from 8:30-10am before departing. Anyone who would like to join us is welcome to (pay as you go).

You can drive, call a Taxi, or get an Uber to the Carlyle Hotel. Valet parking is available for $42 plus tax for overnight parking and $15 plus tax for daily parking. You can also take public transportation from the airport to the hotel.Baltimore Airport. From Baltimore airport first take the BWI Express Metro bus service to the Greenbelt Metro Station. The BWI Express/B30 service runs every 40 minutes from BWI during these times: M-F 6:38am-10:33pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:13am-10:30pm. Additional information can be found <a href="http://www.bwiairport.com/en/travel/ground-transportation/trans/wmata" target="_blank">here</a>. Then take the yellow or green line to the Fort Totten Metro Station. At the Fort Totten Metro Station transfer to the red line and take it to the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From there it is a short walk up New Hampshire Ave to the Carlyle Hotel.Alternatively, you can also take the MARC train from the Baltimore Airport to Union Station in DC. Additional information can be found <a href="http://www.bwiairport.com/en/travel/ground-transportation/trans/marc" target="_blank">here</a>. Then, take the Red Line Metro train to the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From there it is a short walk up New Hampshire Ave to the Carlyle Hotel.Reagan International Airport. You can easily take the Metro from Reagan International to the Carlyle Hotel. First take the yellow line to Gallery Place Chinatown Station and then transfer to the red line and take it to Dupont Circle. From there it is a short walk up New Hampshire Ave to the Carlyle Hotel. Dulles Airport. Taking public transport from the Dulles Airport to the hotel takes 1-2 hours and involves multiple buses, Metro transfers, and walking between stations. Taking a Taxi or an Uber is likely a better option. If you need to take public transportation you can plot a route from Dulles Airport to Dupont Circle <a href="http://www.wmata.com/" target="_blank">here</a>.

Arriving in Washington DC and getting to the Carlyle Hotel

You have several options to get from the Hotel to the Church. The simplest and easiest is to take an Uber or a Taxi. Another easy option is a mile and half walk, first southwest on New Hampshire Ave to Dupont Circle and then southeast on Massachusetts Ave to the Church.For those of you who wish to drive, limited parking may be found along Massachusetts Avenue and K streets if you prefer to park on the street. You may also park for free in the garage beneath the 901 K Street office building that is connected to the historic church building. Access to this garage is off 10th Street. From Massachusetts Ave, turn South onto 10th Street NW. The entrance to the garage is just past the Henley Park Hotel and before the Bank of America signs on your left. Once you enter the garage, please take a parking ticket from the machine, drive your car to the B3 or B4 level and park, take the elevator up to the 1R level, turn right, ring bell next to the glass doors and enter. Please bring your parking ticket into the church as it MUST BE VALIDATED for your parking to be free. When exiting the garage, if the door is closed, please simply drive up to it - slowly - and the door will open. It is possible to cut the walking distance, but not the time, in half by taking the Metro. First walk to Dupont Circle and take the red line to the Metro Center Station. Then walk half a mile, first north on 13th St and then northeast on New York Ave.

Getting from the Carlyle Hotel to the Church

The reception is from 5-10:30pm and guests are asked not to arrive early. So you likely have enough time to go back to the hotel or take a leisurely walk from the Church to the Mansion on O Street.The simplest and easiest is to call an Uber or a Taxi. For those of you driving valet parking is available at the reception for $20. If you are walking, return to Dupont Circle by walking northwest on Massachusetts Ave to Dupont Circle. Then head southwest on New Hampshire Ave and take the first right onto O St. You can also take the Metro. First return to Metro Center Station. To get to the station, first walk southwest on New York Ave and then south on 13th St. From there take the red line to Dupont Circle. Finally, head southwest on New Hampshire Ave and take the first right onto O St.

Getting from the Church to the Reception

You can easily walk the half mile between the Reception and the Carlyle Hotel. Start by going east on O St until you reach New Hampshire Ave then follow it northeast through Dupont Circle to the Carlyle Hotel.You can also drive between these locations, they both offer valet parking.
