Taylor and I first met in August 2015 in Newport, RI. At the same time he also met my little brother Jeffrey, my Dad, my Uncle James, my cousin Georgie and a bunch of Jeffrey's Jamestown friends. We were at the Pelham, a local bar in Newport, RI. A few weeks earlier, before meeting at the bar, Taylor had popped up in my Facebook feed. I didn't know who he was at the time, just a handsome face in a picture next to Earl Evans (a guy I knew from college). I wanted to know who he was, and I was feeling spontaneous, so I asked Earl's fiancé Sarah, if he was single. He was automatically a good guy in my book, since he was friends with Earl. Sarah then told Taylor that I was asking about him and Taylor and I connected. We started to chat a bit on Facebook to get to know each other, then texting, and then spontaneously met at the Pelham one Thursday night in August. From that night on, we have spent every weekend and every minute we can, together. These past few months together have been some of the best months of my life, not just in the good times, but also in the difficult times. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together, and celebrate our love, with all of the people that we love, on Friday, September 2, 2016!

Choosing Alex to be my best man was an easy decision. We first met at Lacrosse camp back in middle school and have been tight ever since. We went to high school together and eventually became college roommates. As we've grown into adults we always managed to remain very close. The countless memories on the lacrosse field, on the boat, or fighting off bears in the Alaskan wilderness will always be with me. I am very grateful for the relationship we have built over the years, and I couldn't have asked for anything more in what I consider a brother.

Katie is my older sister and the person I have always looked up to. I have followed in many of her footsteps, always trying to be a little different and go off on my own path, but managing to stay very close by. Katie has been an incredible role model for what it means to be a considerate and thoughtful friend and sister. Her ability to always be on-time and to stick to a plan has been something I admire most, second to the fact that she'll never forget to send a card for any/all occasions. She is an incredible Mom to my first nephew Cole, and an amazing wife to my brother-in-law Scott Parker. I am so happy to have her by my side, its where she has always been, through everything, no matter what. I love you!

Growing up with two sisters I quickly welcomed Pick into the family. Since the first time we played golf or tailgated at the Patriots game we meshed well together. We share a similar sense of humor and can laugh together for hours. I couldn't have asked for anything more, and I'm proud to call him my brother.

Jon Pickard

Many of you know Tobin, but in a very different way than I know her. Tobin is my little sister first, an incredible soccer player second, but most of all she is one of my biggest role models and best friends, alongside my older sister. Although she is younger, I have always looked up to her. The way that Tobin leads her life for God has changed me forever and continues to change me. She leaves an incredible impression on everyone that she comes in contact with, because she lives with such purpose and drive and selflessness, with such grace and passion, that can only come from living a God-centered life. Growing up and watching her life transform right in front of my eyes, opened up my eyes and my heart, to want my own relationship with God. For this reason, I am forever grateful to my Mom for raising us in the church, and to Tobin for setting the example to me and to the world around her. I am so proud of Tobin for all of her accomplishments. With God, all things are possible...just look at Tobin's life as an example! I love you so much Tobs!

I met Earl through my sister during my freshman year of college. Meg had told me one of her friends liked to fish and we should meet. From our first day casting off the rocks in Newport we became great friends. We created many lasting memories on the water blindly casting the open ocean for hours chasing anything that swims. Earl's passions for fishing and photography have captured some incredible memories of our adventures together. Ultimately, one of Earl's pictures led me to meeting Perry. I am happy to have him in my life and honored to have him by side as a groomsman.

Where do I begin...as many of you know, I have been Ellie's nanny for 6 years! This goes without saying that we have spent a lot of time together, and have been through a lot! We understand each other on a different level, like a sister, but with a different kind of respect and appreciation for one another. Ellie has become such a beautiful young woman, and continues to make me proud every day. I can't imagine my life without her in it, she makes me laugh until I cry, and is the best organizer/cleaning buddy I could ever ask for! I could not see myself getting married, or really doing anything,  without Ellie by my side and I know that she and I will be in each others lives forever. I love you El!

Written by Perry: Jeffrey is my little brother, the only boy, and the first love of my life. I was 8 years old when Jeffrey came into our family, and I took care of him as if he were my own...that's where my love for babysitting all started! He loves his family, his girlfriend Sara, his friendships, and his hobbies...but most of all he loves his "Mama", and I think that shows in how he treats everyone he comes in contact with. Jeff and Taylor easily get along, with their love for boating and fishing being the common ground to develop a relationship from. I couldn't have asked for a better little brother, and I'm thrilled to have him be a part of our wedding day!

He has been an incredible role model to my little brother and an even better husband and father to my sister Katie and their son Cole. Written by Taylor: My sister Meg has always been a supportive and loving sister from the beginning. Although we don't talk everyday and have shared our differences growing up as siblings we have become very close. Whether we were out on the town in Newport or at home with the family, Meg leaves me with fun and lasting moments.  She is an amazing mother to my two nephews William and Austin, and I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side.

Meredith! God brought us together through church in NYC, and she has become my best friend. Our friendship, rooted in faith, has been the most fulfilling and encouraging relationship and has opened my eyes to what friendship is truly supposed to be! I am so thankful for Mer, and I can't imagine doing life without her! The way she lives her life, prays, and goes where God leads her, is such a testament to the person she is...SHE'S THE BEST!

Written by Perry: Jack is twins with Katie, and the son in the family I have been a nanny for almost 6 years. Jack was such a challenge at times, but I could not be more proud of the young man he has turned out to be. He is athletic, smart, handsome, an incredibly loyal friend and brother and a big part of my life now and always. We are so excited to have Jack be a part of our day, and our lives forever. Caitlin is a friend to our whole family...but we got especially close when I was living and working back home in NJ after college. Caitlin was also living at home in NJ and we became close friends very quickly. Our friendship continues to grow and has never faltered, even though we don't live in the same place. Her strength and faith through the trials of life are something I admire about her! Caitlin is an incredible woman, a beautiful person inside and out, and I know that she will be a friend I can call, or stop by for a spontaneous cocktail, forever! Her love for bows and sparkly things is a tribute to the light she has been in my life :)Love you!

William is Taylor's 5-year-old nephew. He was the first of two little ones always with something to say and is sure to put a smile on your face.We are so glad William will be here to share this moment with us.

Nicole has been my best friend since 8th grade at Morristown-Beard! I can honestly say that Nicole was my first true friend and has continued to be there for me since then. Through many years apart, from different colleges, to different countries studying and living abroad, and now just living a hop, skip, and a jump away from each other, we have remained and always will be friends! Her entire family was like a second family to me for a long time, I had even worked for her Mom for some time after college. Nicole is now a LAWYER, and I couldn't be more proud of her and happy that she found her calling! We have always talked about "our weddings one day" and I couldn't picture it without Nicole up there by my side, making sure my dress and hair and makeup are perfect! Love you!

Austin is Taylor's 2-year-old nephew. He's known for his notorious dance moves, and it amazes us how soon it started.  It will make it all the more special having Austin part of our day. We can't wait to see what dance moves he'll have at our wedding!

Courtney and I  have been friends and formed countless memories since we were little girls.   Whether we were ditching Sunday school, performing living room gymnastics routines, roller blading in the basement, mountain biking, skiing, or on mission trips with her mom blasting Rascal Flats, the fun and silly times continue today! I cherish our silliness and hilarious moments together and could not imagine my wedding day without Courtney by my side to make me laugh my hardest and smile until it hurts. I know we will be friends forever!

Katie is Ellie's younger sister, and I was actually supposed to be her nanny...Ellie made sure that didn't happen, but of course Katie is a big part of my life as well :). I have always seen a lot of myself in Katie, she is sensitive and caring and is always my go-to person to help with taking a great selfie! She will continue to challenge me and push me until the day I leave...and I love her more for it! Katie is incredibly talented in many areas, but if you need a make-up artist, she's your girl! Love you!

I have been babysitting Elsie since she was 16 months old in Brooklyn. I have so many fun memories with her and love her creative imagination and silly personality. I'm so happy to have her be a part of our special day!

I have been babysitting Mayfair and her little sister Harlow for about a year, but she was also a friend of Elsie and June's (Elsie's cousin) before I started babysitting her. She has become my little helper, especially with her new baby sister Harlow. She loves to zoom zoom in her stroller to ballet and school and loves to be at both. When the weather is nice we love to go to the playgrounds all over Brooklyn. I am so happy to have Mayfair be a part of our day!

I used to babysit Ellie when she lived in Soho, NYC. I was with her from when she was 16 months until she was almost 3 years old, when they moved to California. Ellie and I have such a special relationship and I'm so super proud of the little girl she's become. She brings a smile to my face when I think about her, and I miss her terribly, but I am so happy that she is here to be a part of our day!

Beavertail is the southern most tip of Conanicut Island (Jamestown). It is one of our favorite spots where we spent many weekends at our own little private beaches we found while walking along windy paths. Don't miss the sunset at this park, you don't even have to get out of the car if you don't want to! 360 degree views!Beavertail State Park, located in Jamestown, Rhode Island, is known for offering some of the most beautiful vistas along the New England coastline. The Park attracts people from all over the country, to enjoy its pristine environment. Beavertail's most popular activity is sightseeing, and can be done from the comfort of a vehicle, in one of the four overlooks or on foot, from the rocky coastline. Beavertail also provides some of the best saltwater fishing in the area, along with offering hiking trails, and a naturalist program that attracts hundreds of people each year.

Explore all that Fort Wetherill has to offer...beautiful views of the bay and ocean over to Castle Hill in Newport, climb around the old fort and explore tunnels and caverns, enjoy the sunset, or go for a picnic. If you're adventurous enough, ask us about cliff jumping at the Fort. An activity we did together on one of out first weekends spent in Jamestown :). Fort Wetherill is a former coast artillery fort that occupies the southern portion of the eastern tip of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conanicut_Island" title="Conanicut Island">Conanicut Island</a>, located in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamestown,_Rhode_Island" title="Jamestown, Rhode Island">Jamestown, Rhode Island</a>. The fort sits atop high granite cliffs, overlooking the entrance to <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narragansett_Bay" title="Narragansett Bay">Narragansett Bay</a>. Fort Dumpling, dating from the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Revolutionary_War" title="American Revolutionary War">American Revolutionary War</a>, used to occupy a small site until it was built over by Fort Wetherill. The fort was deactivated and turned over to the State of Rhode Island after <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II" title="World War II">World War II</a> and is now operated as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Wetherill_State_Park" title="Fort Wetherill State Park">Fort Wetherill State Park</a>, a 51-acre reservation. The park is managed by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.

At some point you must enjoy an ice-cream from Spinnaker's Cafe. Taylor and I love our ice-cream, and don't forget sprinkles :) . Order inside or right from the outside window service and enjoy the beautiful Jamestown Harbor and Narragansett Bay views , while admiring some incredible yachts on the dock.

THE SHACK @ Dutch Harbor is an awesome place to enjoy lunch outside with a view of the harbor on the west side of the island. Order your meal inside the little "shack" and choose a picnic table outside and they will call you when your food is ready or bring it our for you, depending on how busy they are! Last summer Tallulah's Tacos from Newport, RI took over the kitchen...fantastic food, with a fabulous view!

Dutch Harbor Boat Yard

Play a round of golf with some friends at the 9-hole public golf course in Jamestown. Beautiful views of the water, beautiful course, lovely homes lining some of the holes, and a great way to spend the day on Jamestown before heading out to dinner in town. People say its the best public course in Rhode Island!
