A Modern Wedding in Arlington, VA

Just less than three years after their first date, Matt’s parents invited the couple to vacation with them at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia. As the two were hiking along Lake Moomaw, they approached a scenic overlook. They sat down on a bench and when Lani turned to grab the snacks out of her bag, Matt got on one knee and proposed.

Picking the city to marry at was one of the toughest parts –- they eventually picked Arlington (where they live now). It was a destination wedding for most of their guests and the perfect spot for a Memorial Day weekend celebration. When they met the coordinator at Le Meridien in Arlington, they knew they had found their venue.
