Rachel did the flowers for my wedding and sadly the issue was that the bouquet colors were not what I picked, which was very shocking to see on my wedding day as the colors of the flowers are such a key part of setting the tone for the wedding. My contract listed out the color inspiration and had several inspiration photos- I wanted muted tones in champagne, tan, cream/white, copper and mauve, mixed with sage greens. The bouquets that arrived were bright and summery (my wedding was October 2021)- bright yellow, orange, red, and pink. It was such a stark difference from what I thought I was getting. The person who delivered the flowers frantically had to rearrange everything and take out the colors I didn't want. Luckily she was able to salvage the bouquets and keep some of the original color palette. I was so grateful that we could fix this and it did not ruin the day. During the planning process Rachel was great at communication and worked with my budget. After the wedding she responded quickly to what happened and apologized for the miscommunication and gave me a refund for what I asked for. My advice for future customers would be to ask for more pictures of what to expect and have additional phone conversations to clarify any details of the contract that could be misinterpreted.

I whipped together in 31 days due to an illness in the family. Rachel and I had worked together before so I knew she could pull off my vision and with such short time. She's not only a wonderful artist, but a beautiful woman inside and out so I also wanted her there as a guest. She created a gorgeous crown of flowers for my hair as well as two for my nieces who couldn't stop gabbing about how much they loved them. Aunt for the win! Her work turned my brothers simple backyard and the tent we rented into a colorful fantastical world. My bouquet was huge, beautiful and full of my favorite colors which was exactly what I had envisioned. Thank you Rachel for all your hard work and talent. I'm so happy you were able to be my florist at the last minute. I wouldn't of wanted anyone else.

Also interrupted our first look pictures to ask me (the bride) decor questions which I found completely inappropriate. She was nice and clearly had an eye for floral decor but was not always professional.

ctly what she wanted, I provided a detailed Powerpoint for her which included countless examples of bouquets/arrangements that were all the same style, provided a color palette, and let her know what my two favorite flowers were since I wanted them prominently featured. I even included pictures/names of 37 other types of flowers/filler that I would be happy to see, because I know product availability changes. The proposal/work order I signed off on matched my vision, and even included sample pictures provided by Rachel, so I was 100% confident that I would be receiving my dream flowers. Fast forward to the morning of my wedding. I received an email from Rachel saying that an assistant would be delivering the flowers due to something coming up, which I had zero problem with. When I arrived at The Music Room of the Stanley Hotel to meet her assistant, my stomach dropped. The extra cake flowers Rachel said she would be providing the day before, turned into "I didn't know you wanted cake flowers". My dramatic high/low mantle arrangement made of branches/flowers/greenery garland, was a thin "furry" fern garland and vase of silk leaves that covered about 10% of the massive mantle. My memory table full of pictures of my deceased loved ones had a small floral arrangement on it instead of the branches I requested which meant it could not even be seen behind the frames. The larger table arrangements I requested for my 6 foot round tables, ended up being a smaller less expensive size that looked way too small. Lastly, and most importantly my bohemian bouquet that was supposed to feature ranunculus, anemones (my two favorites), foliage, and lots of other filler ended up being a rose and carnation bouquet. Being that I specifically said that I didn't want to see any of the standard flowers that you would find in a grocery store/gas station, I was very confused as to how baby pink carnations made their way into my bouquet. When my fiance and I emailed Rachel to ask why the proposal I signed off on didn't match the product we received, we received no apology or explanation but instead were told not to contact her again or she would sue us for harassment. Because of this total lack of professionalism, I feel compelled to share my experience with other brides. There are lots of talented florists out there, but it's imperative to find one that acts in a professional manner, and abides by the work order their clients sign off on.

The different texture of the arrangements were truly beautiful and timeless. Truly a work of art. She is personable throughout the process, and on the wedding day she was professional and accomodating. I couldn't have chosen better. I still think about my bouquet and love looking at our wedding photos where the flowers are front and center!

Her style is really beautiful, lots of texture, with interesting flowers, and she was the only florist who got me peonies (out of season) - everyone else said no! She made suggestions of flowers I didn't even know existed but ended up absolutely loving, and made sure to explain what her backup options were should any of the original flowers be out of season/unavailable. Her planning was very thorough and tailored perfectly to our style. She was early to set up the day of the wedding and made sure there was plenty of time to make adjustments if needed (we didn't need to though because everything was EXACTLY how I imagined it!). Rachel was easy to communicate with throughout the planning process - even when I was adding a boutonniere a week for a while - and her prices were incredibly reasonable. Of all the features of the wedding, the flowers were what I received the most compliments on from guests and the wedding party. We even had a family friend request to use what was left for a party the next day because they still looked so great! Of all the vendors we used, A Florae was absolutely the one we were all happiest with!

She did an amazing job giving me suggestions based on my budget and after having calls with other florists who quoted me thousands over my budget, it was so refreshing to talk to someone that was excited about what we wanted to for the wedding, but also fully understanding of the budget we were working in. With all the small details that come up with planning a wedding (especially planning a Colorado wedding while living in California), I never once had to worry about flowers, Rachel made me feel so confident that they were fully taken care of. Rachel went above and beyond day of to make sure that everything looked beautiful, and has such a positive energy about her. The highest compliment I could give Rachel actually came from my sister. After the wedding she told me: "Your flowers were beautifully done. That was what I wanted the my wedding to look like, but I didn't have someone who understood me like your florist understood you." Thanks so much Rachel, you are amazing!

ed an aspen arch draped in fabric with flowers - Rachel offered to do the draping in addition to the flowers- she draped the velvet and adorned it with flowers - it was a show piece as the backdrop. She is also very detailed - she added flowers to the fountain at the venue.....it was such an elegant touch and elevated that area of the event. Rachel is so sweet and easy to work with, I definitely highly recommend her. If you allow her some artistic license, her creations will be glorious.

used for the ceremony. On top of being a truly talented florist, Rachel was a pleasure to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. She even put up with us changing our minds at least 20 times! Thank you Rachel!!

Being a bride, most of my other vendors kept in touch in the interim, but that was not the case. I always had to contact her just to make sure there wasn't anything I needed to do - mind you there wasn't much, just the communication would have been nice. A week or so before my wedding, I had contacted her for an update, and she sent me a picture of what the flowers were going to look like. I was so sad to see that they weren't what I wanted and she knew that they weren't as big as I had wished. But she had not offered anything else, she had told me that she could make the bouquet look fuller and that she "could not make the flower any bigger". Her comment made me sound like an idiot, I understood that that's how the flower came, came off as an annoyed. When we got the bouquets, I was SO disappointed. My bouquet was smaller than my BMs. That was the other criteria, I wanted my bouquet to be bigger and different. And it was not. That didn't ruin my beautiful day but I am disappointed that I paid and tipped her for an order she did not fulfil. I would not recommend Rachel
