Tina is the powerhouse behind Abernathy Entertainment. With a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, over 20 years of dance training, and a strong background in music design and mixing, she brings both professionalism and passion to every event. By day, Tina serves as a Federal contractor in the criminal justice field. After hours, she shifts into high gear as the lead DJ, emcee, and visionary behind the scenes—coordinating clients, managing day-to-day operations, and keeping the energy high at every celebration. Known for her crowd-pleasing line dance instruction and upbeat personality, Tina leads with experience, creativity, and an unshakable commitment to making every event unforgettable. Whether she's spinning tracks, hyping up a dance floor, or working with clients to perfect every detail, Tina is the heart and rhythm of Abernathy Entertainment.

Rachael—known to most as “Rae”—brings both creativity and charisma to the Abernathy Entertainment team. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in General Art Studies and works in the counseling field by day. By night, Rae transforms into a dynamic DJ and vivacious emcee, lighting up every event with her infectious energy and love for music. In addition to spinning tracks and hyping up crowds, Rae is a certified notary and wedding officiant, offering personalized, heartfelt ceremony services to help our couples officially tie the knot. When she’s not painting her next masterpiece, you’ll find Rae deep in musical discovery, headphones on, diving into everything from timeless vinyl classics to the newest EP drops. A true social butterfly with an unforgettable smile, Rae radiates positivity and brings a joyful, inclusive vibe to every event she touches. She firmly believes that the best memories are made when great music meets good energy—and she’s always ready to deliver both.

Mel has been with Abernathy Entertainment since day one, entertaining crowds with her dynamic presence and seasoned DJ skills. A beloved veteran of the team, she now serves as a visiting DJ, bringing her signature energy and talent to special events and client-requested gigs. Married in 2021, she now balances her passion for music with family life, spending her time with her husband and raising teenagers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and currently works a Data Analyst Manager for the Florida Department of Education. Melinda’s unique blend of technical expertise and enthusiastic performance makes her a favorite at every event she DJs. Mel spent a decade as a high school teacher and, thanks to her background in education, she is especially mindful of lyric appropriateness for school and family-friendly environments, while staying tuned in to what’s trending with younger audiences.

Dan brings both heart and humor to the Abernathy Entertainment team. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, he thrives by day as a sales professional for a national industrial supplier—and by night, he steps into his DJ persona, lighting up events with his infectious energy, great sense of humor, and outgoing personality. No stranger to the DJ scene, Dan has years of mobile DJ experience rocking dance floors at weddings and private parties, as well as provided DJ services at Skate World. As a seasoned wedding DJ, he takes pride in celebrating the love, joy, and new beginnings that weddings represent—always with a focus on creating unforgettable, fun-filled memories for couples and their guests. Outside of DJ life, Dan is a proud father of two. His son attends the University of Central Florida (“Go Knights!”), and his daughter is a champion on her high school and travel volleyball teams. Dan and his wife spend much of their free time cheering on their kids’ academic and athletic pursuits. His guiding philosophy is simple: “Family is first.” And that sense of loyalty, joy, and connection shines through at every event he DJs.
