My husband and I had the opportunity to have our wedding here in July and it was such a wonderful experience! Beata and the other staff were so remarkable leading up to the day with planning and on the day as well. Beata takes care of so much during the day-of, including ceremony timing and instructions to making sure everything runs smoothly during both the ceremony and reception. She makes sure the food and coordinating with the other vendors is taken care of. The venue itself is beautiful and was very easy to get amazing photo ideas. I still get compliments on how the food was really good and how the place was stunning.

Our wedding celebration at Acquaviva exceeded our expectations. The entire event flowed beautifully and our guests were so pleased with the food, beverages, ambiance, staff attentiveness and professionalism. So many compliments on the wine from our guests! Our event coordinator was always available to us and quick to meet our desires and answer any questions throughout the planning process. Everything about Acquaviva is honestly perfect - the venue, the food, the staff. Beata and the entire team were so helpful throughout the entire process and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We had to move our ceremony inside day of due to rain and you would have never known it was our backup plan because everything went so smoothly. Can't recommend Acquaviva enough!

She helped us step by step with the process and even gave suggestions! The service that comes from every person that works there is above and beyond. Our entire reception was served dinner in 11 mins! (Record!) They pay attention to details and have many people working and watching to help make your day go by without a hitch! The vines are gorgeous in August! I couldn’t be happier that we chose this venue.

We absolutely loved our wedding at Acquaviva Winery! Beata, the coordinator, was incredible- attentive, detailed and very organized. Our wedding day moved seamlessly. There was a whole team to help with set up and timing. We loved having the guest house the night before and of our wedding. The only thing we would say is there felt like a bit of nickel and diming with all the different up charges. However, I think that is the case for every wedding venue. At the end of the day we had a fabulous wedding and kept it within our budget. We also had a lot of guests rave about the quality of service and food. Thank you Beata and Acquaviva for making our wedding a dream come true!

We are so happy we chose Acquaviva as our venue location, we cannot think of one complaint during the whole process. Beata was so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process leading up to the day and especially throughout of ceremony and reception. She was organized and gave us good direction to keep our night running smoothly. The venue was beautiful but what really set them over the top was the staff and how they provided a premium package. Amazing venue! Highly recommend this venue for weddings. I found this venue on the Knot and when we saw the photos of the place, we knew that this was an amazing place. Then when we got there and met the staff, we signed our paperwork immediately. The staff is amazing both from the restaurant and for the wedding. All of the staff treat their guests like family and friends. They remembered our faces and our names. Beata was amazing as an event coordinator. She was great for communication before the meeting and the day of. We unfortunately were one of the weddings hoping to get married in a vineyard but due to a downpour in October we needed to switch to an indoor ceremony. Despite changing this decision to the absolute last minute we could, the whole staff was amazing through it making sure that everyone was on the same page. In addition, the place is just stunning overall, both indoors and outdoors. We also rented the house attached to the property and that was wonderful to have for ourselves and our bridal party. If you want an all-in-one place, I highly recommend this place. We continue to get phone calls from our family and friends about how much they loved the venue because of food, scenery and staff.

I had my wedding on Saturday October 21st! We knew this was the venue for us as we had dined here before and when we did our tour the scenery and the restaurant itself make the perfect place to get married. I cannot express enough how much my husband and I loved this beautiful venue! We had a ceremony location change last minute and they swiftly took care of it! Beata was incredibly organized and ran the whole day beautifully! She was so knowledgeable with what works best for us and how the timeline of the day would go. And she made sure we were happy and comfortable the entire time! The food and drinks were incredible! We want to Thank the entire staff for making our day incredibly special! We definitely will be dining there many more times in the future! Especially for our anniversaries

Wedding day ended up being perfect and the vineyard outside was beautiful! We ended up having a band and all our guests had a great rime. Communication was lacking the month before the wedding which made the week of the wedding more stressful. I wish we could have heard back sooner with our questions so we could have reached out to our vendors quicker. Besides the lack of communication the wedding was perfect and I wouldn’t change anything!

Acquaviva is simply the best! Beata is wonderful to work with. We wanted our wedding to be romantic and intimate, and Acquaviva was the perfect venue to make that happen. Beautiful venue! Made our dream come true for our wedding. The team was amazing from start to finish. Making sure we were in the loop with everything and continually communicating with us! We just hosted our daughter & son -in-law’s wedding in July of 2023. We could not have had a more beautiful day. My husband and I got married in July of 2023. Our reception was at Acquaviva Winery. This winery is incredible. We stumbled upon it while browsing on the knot, and I’m glad we did. We wanted something different than your traditional banquet or barn wedding. The food is AMAZING. Our guests were infatuated with the food, and the space. Weeks later we are still receiving comments about how amazing everything was. Beata was the coordinator that I worked with and no surprise here, she was amazing! She is very organized, and is great with communication. She will do everything to help you on the day and before the wedding to make sure everything is ready to go. Her kindness and positive energy was everything we needed when meeting with her to discuss all of the details. Overall, our day was majestic and we couldn’t be more in love with our venue choice. We are hoping to come back every year for an anniversary dinner.

I got married here in June 2023. From start the finish everything with Acquaviva was perfect! Beata was so kind and helpful! I can say there was a lot of timeline details and ceremony timing I had not thought of but Beata always was on top of it so I could just enjoy my wedding. The entire staff was so helpful in everything. And on top of that, this place is absolutely beautiful! I will continue to go back here for dinners and wine 🍷

We got married at Acquaviva in June of 2023 and everything was PERFECT. We mostly worked/communicated with Beata for the duration of our planning and for our day-of coordinator and she was amazing. Communication of every little detail was very much appreciated and made planning so easy if you were clueless on how to plan a wedding like I was. We ate dinner at Acquaviva in December of 2021 and after seeing the inside and tasting their amazing food that we just had to choose them for our venue. It’s been a month since we got married there now and our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the night. We got married in the vineyard and it was so beautiful. They had a landscaping crew taking care of the land the morning of the wedding and everything looked so perfect for our day. Also added bonus is getting to see where they make the wine and photos in the barrel room turned out so beautiful! 10/10 would recommend Acquaviva to anyone looking for a venue to be married in!

Acquaviva was an easy 5 star for us. They have the most beautiful venue. As a former bride, I know how important/stressful it can be going for an outdoor venue. This venue has a unbelievably beautiful backup plan and allow you to decide as close to last minute as possible. Luckily the weather was perfect but the piece of mind means everything leading up to the big day. We are still getting raving reviews of their food from our guests weeks after the wedding. The fillet and whitefish are to die for! They include so much in their initial minimum (open bar, appetizers, wine during dinner, salad, pasta, main dishes, dessert bar) but also have awesome upgrades available! Some that we utilized that I think were so worth it was: -extended cocktail hour (more time for pictures too!) -upgraded bar options -upgraded dessert bar -wine bar at vineyard ceremony -champagne toast -meal choice for guests -late night pizza One of the things I love best is that my husband and I can come back to eat at our reception venue for years to come to celebrate our marriage and the most amazing day/night we had there. All of this and to top it off their staff was amazing! Family owned and it shows in the best way. Easy going, accommodating, and flexible. A million thank yous to them for making our day so perfect for us.

From the initial wedding tour to our wedding day Beata and the entire staff at Acquaviva didn’t miss a thing. They kept the planning process organized from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and goes with any wedding style. As we came across different stages of the planning process, I had so many questions that came up along the way and Beata responded to every question in a timely manor. Being a very well established wedding venue they also had a lot of great ideas to help us make it day special! We rented the guest house for two nights and hosted our immediate families there. It made for a perfect weekend spent with our closest family. Anything we needed while staying at the guest house they had maintenance staff on call if needed. The day of our wedding went very smooth without any unexpected issues. Beata was there to coordinate every step of the day which helped us stay on time. They also worked well with our DJ, photographers and videographers, bakery, Pastor, florist and decor venders. Our guests complimented the quality of the food and wine, in fact many of our guests purchased bottles of wine at the end of the evening. I am so glad we chose Acquaviva as our wedding venue and look forward to hosting futures events there!

Acquaviva Winery is not only a stunning location, but the staff is exceptional. They were a huge part of why our wedding ran so smoothly. Acquaviva was the most amazing venue for our wedding! The vineyard setting and the reception hall are beautiful! On top of that, the wine and food are delicious! We stayed at the guest house on the property and it was so luxurious & added to a wonderfully smooth day! Everyone who works there, especially Aubri, were so helpful and helped make our special day as amazing as possible! I would 100% recommend Acquaviva!

Really just not enough great things to say about our wedding process with Acquaviva. From day one, walking in to the place we were sold (after speaking with 76 vendors and looking at 4 others in person). The beauty of the place is honestly jaw-dropping. Their ability to combine elegance and comfort is impeccable. BUT the people!!!!! Just. Wow. Every tasting, every visit, every dinner, every single time we were at Acquaviva we were treated like family. The staff (Aubrey, Audrey, Nancy, Vito and so many others) are just absolutely amazing. I did not have a wedding planner or coordinator and this was no issue at all. They decorated for us on our big day, put our timeline together for us, and spoke with all of our vendors. We did not have to do anything the days leading up to our wedding. I cannot emphasize enough how good the food is. So many people have told us it was the best food they have ever had in their lives, let alone wedding food. We have been told by almost everyone that attended (200 people) that our wedding was the best they had ever been to. That was truly because of Acquaviva, their service, their food quality, their sincerity, and their recommended vendors (shoutout SNP DJ’s - GO WITH THEM!!!!). Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. If we had it anywhere other than Acquaviva, I am not sure it would have been so easy to make that the case. We are so grateful for this place and their people.

Overall, Acquaviva was a fantastic venue. They were very accommodating and catered to our needs throughout our wedding day and through the planning process. There were a couple miscommunications we wish would've been handled more professionally but in the end everything still got resolved. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Audrey and team were super attentive and really made sure to listen to exactly what our vision was for the big day. The staff was absolutely exceptional. Everyone 's top priority was making the day smooth and stress free. They are flexible and work with your to make your vision happen - some other venues I visited had some silly rules that would have prevented us from customizing our day. The staff was always reachable by phone or email to discuss questions. They were enjoyable to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! The food DELICIOUS! Which is no surprise since it's an Italian restaurant! So many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed their meal. The ceremony space in the vineyard was gorgeous, and the inside of the winery also made for amazing pictures. I loved having our entrances, first dances, and cake cutting in the entryway with the spectacular ceiling. The layout with the bar and head table in the middle made the day seem more intimate! I am so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Acquaviva, the entire experience from our first visit, to our tasting, to our planning meeting, to the actual day was amazing!

I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else but Acquaviva! It is a gorgeous venue, and the staff was amazing to work with. They were so great with discussing and helping finalize our plans. On the day of the wedding, their team helped set up our decorations and get everything into place to start the wedding. Our wedding day ran so smoothly thanks to the Acquaviva team! So many of our guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the venue is, how delicious the food is, and how kind and professional the staff is. My husband and I are absolutely BLOWN AWAY by our wedding on 7.16.22 at Acquaviva! The team of wedding coordinators have things down to a science over there. They are professional, detail oriented, effective communicators, and problem solvers. The month leading up to the day our plans were discussed and finalized several times. As a result, everything ran smoothly the night of. Our ceremony and reception was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Throughout the night, we received compliments regarding the beauty of the vineyard and reception of the room and the tastiness of the food and wine. 12/10 would recommend to all Illinois brides!!

We had the most amazing wedding thanks to Acquaviva last month! We had many people tell us it was the best venue they've been too from our vineyard ceremony to the wine and the delicious food. We worked with Suzanne before she left and then Beata and both are wonderful to work with. Beata helped with all the last minute final details and made our wedding the best day we could ask for. We fell in love with this venue from the moment we walked in and they did not disappoint! Besides it being extraordinary, their food was absolutely incredible and their staff equally good. If we were to do it all over again, we would pick them all over again!

We had our “best day ever” at Acquaviva and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I had 30+ people say it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The venue and grounds are beautiful, the food is impeccable, the service was great! One awesome add on is the guest house on the property. My bridesmaids slept there with me the night before and the bridal party slept there after the wedding. It was the perfect place to get ready on the day of. Through out the process, Acquaviva staff communicated promptly with me, we had the most fun tasting, and we met with one of the owners for our final details meeting. When our wedding coordinator (outside vendor) was late, Acquaviva staff stepped in to start setting up our centerpieces. At the end of the night, we hadn’t gotten any dessert and the staff packaged up 2 cannolis for the groom & I to go. It was above and beyond (and I have high expectations!) I can’t recommend Acquaviva enough.

We cannot recommend Acquaviva enough! We booked our wedding here originally for 2020 and decided to move our wedding to September 2021 due to the pandemic. Suzanne made this process extremely smooth and we are so grateful. Our September wedding was everything we dreamed of! Three months later and our family and friends continue to rave about the delicious food, kind employees, and how beautiful the venue was for our special day! Kara was our coordinator and went above and beyond to make sure the tables were set to match our vision and that we were where we needed to be at the correct time. We loved getting married in the vineyard as it is such a unique space unlike any other venue we previously looked at. Thank you to Suzanne and her team for making our day incredibly special! We will be back to Acquaviva in the future to enjoy the restaurant that is so special to us!

We cannot rave enough about our experience with Acquaviva and Suzanne! Our November wedding of ~130 was absolutely phenomenal and all our guests raved about the venue being so naturally gorgeous and unique (not just a giant, empty banquet hall). Our ceremony was in the winery atrium and felt so intimate with our lighted lanterns, fall floral arrangements, and family members seated comfortably around us. The reception was elegant and formal and the servers were all so professional - but it also felt like a relaxed and fun environment in that same vein. It honestly couldn't have been more perfect all around. Suzanne and her team are truly experienced with wedding planning and hosting large events - they made our party of ~130 seem easy. Suzanne also made the entire planning experience SO smooth - we felt like it was too good to be true. Her regular check-ins, meetings, and forms helped streamline everything. She had suggestions for any vendor we needed, and many of them we used. The entire day was so perfect and I would choose Acquaviva over and over again. Thank you for everything!!

Everyone always tells you that if you're planning an event, it's all about the food, the drinks, and a good time! Hands down, Acquaviva Winery has it all for a wedding. Our wedding was booked in February 2019 for August 2020. The booking process was easy - their Events Manager, Suzanne, was so easy to work with, responded within 24 hours generally, and always made sure to relay every detail we would need to know. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding to May 2021. With all of the emotions and frustrations we were experiencing, how Acquaviva handled the reschedule process reassured us that we made the right decision booking with them. Suzanne went above and beyond to make sure we got the best reschedule date that would work for us and reassured us that our big day would be just the same as if it hadn't been rescheduled. AND IT WAS! Our guests and family still rave about how amazing our reception was. The food was AMAZING - it was a delicious, true Italian cuisine with huge dinner size portions (none of that "smaller portions" you sometimes get at event halls). The set up of the restaurant is a bit weird but we chose the right DJ to make sure sound got across the whole venue (Spin N Play - ask for Ron). The bartenders made sure to keep our specialty drink just how we asked for it. And the coordinators and servers/head servers did everything to help set up, take down, and make our guests comfortable. While Acquaviva might be a bit off the beaten path, the distance and time it took to get there was well worth our amazing experience having our wedding day there. We will continue to go there for dinners and to buy our favorite wines.

We loved our venue, it was absolutely beautiful both inside the venue and our at the venue. I can’t wait to see the pictures. Everyone was raving about the food and the wine and the venue really worked with us to add some special touches for our big day! Suzanne was responsive and even helped us with a new floor layout they’d never had before. Our vendors were happy with their meals as well. Suzanne also was attentive during the event always asking if the bride and groom needed anything special throughout the night. It was a gorgeous ball, with great people and I know we will be going back for other special events in our lives.

We got married at Acquaviva this weekend and the staff is incredible! We had to quickly change our outdoor ceremony inside due to rain and they moved so quickly, helped me keep calm and everything looked beautiful! The guest house was extremely lovely and perfect for a day of getting ready. The pictures I have seen so far outside on the balcony are beautiful! I can’t say enough great things about Acquaviva, not only is the venue/vineyard absolutely beautiful but the food is amazing. Suzanne and her team go the extra mile and we’re beyond accommodating & friendly on our wedding day. Our wedding vision came true at Acquaviva - it will be a part of our anniversary celebrations and milestones.

Suzanne and her team (and the whole staff!!) made our day absolutely phenomenal. We had many questions as we planned and they were helpful, prompt, communicative, flexible, all the things you want in someone you’re working with on such an important day!! Our wedding day was everything we could have wanted it to be and we only have good things to say about the entire experience. Planning, visiting, tasting, execution-all of it was just so wonderful. We are so grateful and cannot recommend them enough! If we could do it again we wouldn’t change a thing.
