Adam Grumbo Wedding Films

We just received the video from my daughter’s wedding from Adam! We were told he was amazing but he surpassed every expectation! This was more than a wedding video, this was a nine minute magical voyage! I can’t stop watching (even though I’m flooded with tears of joy)! I’m not biased either. The response to the video is flooded with compliments with everything from being the best wedding video they’ve ever seen to it being more like a film. If you want the best of the best, hire this guy! You’re only going to get one chance to record this magic moment in time!!

We hired Adam for our wedding that took place in April 2017 and although we were impressed with the quality of his work, I cannot recommend his services due to the awful customer service we have received throughout the process of dealing with his company. As several others have mentioned, if you are completely satisfied with the finished product and have no changes to request, you might be fine. The trouble seems to occur when you are not 100% satisfied and request changes to the video that Adam has produced. At that point, Adam and his team become unresponsive and cease all communication with you. As others have mentioned, we contacted Adam to request minor changes to our cinematic cut. I outlined carefully the exact times in the video where we wanted to replace footage and the exact footage that we would prefer to include instead of the footage he chose for the video. However, we never heard from Adam. As others have mentioned, months went by with no response to emails and voicemails. This is inexcusable especially when you consider that we paid $5,000+ for our video package. I cannot recommend Adam to any bride who is seeking solid customer service and a company that cares about her input. If I could do it all over again, I would choose someone else. Unfortunately, skill cannot compensate for a lack of customer service. The total lack of communication on Adam’s part has overshadowed his talent in our minds.

We think that hiring Adam to take video of our wedding was a great decision! We hired him on a recommendation from our photographer, Amanda Pomilla, and it was a great idea to have those two teams working together when they clearly had a great time doing so. Another great compliment for Adam was that once we introduced ourselves and did some establishing shots...we didn't notice him for much of the rest of the day. He was always in the background, getting awesome footage. We know that he went to great lengths to get some very specific and detailed shots. And he was lovely. Thanks, Adam!

My husband and I married over a year and a half ago. To date, I am still waiting on the full length documentary. For context, I purchased the full package that included the the 20 minute cut and a full length movie. The 20 minute cut turned out well in the end, although it also took a very long time - months (not an exaggeration) longer than advertised and promised. The full length we originally received was horrible - as in, it was the type of video you take with your mobile phone, spinning, disorganized, no theme, etc. I didn't pay for that type of work. Despite attempts to reach Adam, he goes months without communicating. He will provide a deadline, and not meet it, and do that repeatedly. We have been more than accommodating, and really are not asking for much other than a finished, quality product - we don't even demand a completion date, simply an update on progress and confidence that it's getting done. And we don't even get that. The constant "I'm sorry, I'll have it to you by X date" followed by no action is unprofessional, and has happened at least 5 times. It continues today. I really can't understand what's going on, and strongly urge others to look elsewhere. Please please please trust me on this. It's too important of a day, and too prized of a product, to let someone mess up. My heart hurts that I can't go back and watch those memories, even more now that my father has passed.

Adam far exceeded our expectations! When we started looking at videographers in the Austin area, Adam was the only person we would consider. In fact, when our DJ asked who our videographer is and we told him it was Adam, he said “wow you got the best in the business!” We barely noticed Adam on the wedding day, yet were blown away by the finished product (which is the sign of a great videographer)! Our guests keep telling us that they’ve watched the video over and over again because it’s so great! Adam was able to capture some moments we didn’t even notice during the chaos of the wedding day, and we are so happy that we have these videos to cherish forever.

Adam captures so many little moments that you will overlook on your wedding day--he had me in tears, reliving that special day! He will edit your film masterfully and set it to the perfect music! When he was shooting, you didn't even notice him as he was really good about blending in the background. Working with him was so pleasant. He is easygoing, and knows exactly what to do. We just filled out his questionnaire and he took care of everything else. For us, we were really serious about getting the best photo and video for our wedding. Adam was worth every penny and i would HIGHLY recommend him. I knew he would be awesome, because he shot my brother's wedding. But I had no idea he was going to deliver such a breathtaking piece of work for our day!

I searched many videographers, and I am so excited I found Adam Grumbo Films. I immediately shared our video to all of our friends and family, and we received so many wonderful complements about the video. I can't say enough about Adam and his work. He is truly an artist at capturing the emotion and beauty of your day! Before I booked anything else for our wedding, I booked photography and videography. When the day is over, nothing compares to the memories you'll have. My recommendation is do not skimp on videography! We have only received our wedding trailer so far and we've already shared it with countless friends and family (and cried every time we watch it!). AMAZING! So talented, professional, friendly, and creative. Not enough great things to say about Adam and his team. On my wedding night, I barely noticed him there (one of my fears was that the videographer would be in my face all night). I remember worrying that he didn't get all of the footage we wanted. But my worries vanished when we got our finished video product... it was nothing less than perfect. I cried when I saw it for the first time (I barely even cried on my own wedding day!) -- and I got that same feedback from many friends/family. Adam brought a level of detail and attentiveness that will allow my husband and I to relive our precious moments over and over again. In preparation for our daughters wedding I spent some time cruising the net and watched a fair amount of wedding videos posted by professionals and non-professionals alike so I feel I got a pretty good feel for what to expect. When my wife and I saw Adams video it made this old salt and his wife cry. Of course we have the emotional tie but we feel Adam did a superb job of capturing the event in a truly meaningful way. There were many little subtle snip-its and captures of expression it melted our hearts. The blending of the scenes and musical highlights were exceptional! We highly recommend Adam for your event and know you will not be disappointed by the results he shares with you!

Adam Grumbo Wedding Films did an amazing job. He managed to stay hidden and out of the way during the ceremony and reception but still managed to get the shots that captured all of the best moments of the big day. I wish I had him at my wedding. His turnaround time was fast but the quality was still top notch. I have a hard time not tearing up every time I watch it!

wow, where do I begin?! Hiring Adam Grumbo as the videogroaher for our wedding day was by far the best decision I made throughout the whole planning process. I had seen a few wedding videos before from other videographers and I truly wasn't impressed. Therefore, I didn't really even want to pay to hire a videographer. I few weeks before the wedding, my mother in law suggested we hire Adam. I went ahead and said sure let's do it, simply because I wanted to be done making decisions and make everyone happy! Saying yes to hiriing Adam was the absolute best decision I ever made! I cannot imagine not having the stunning video Adam created for us. When I got the video back (extremely fast might I add) my husband and I sat down to watch it together. I balled through out the entire thing and we were both in compete awe of Adams work. Had we not had this video, I honestly wouldnt have remembered certain parts of the night because it was such a blur. This video is the closest thing we have to reliving our wedding day and it is by far my most cherished possession. Watching it again, due to Adams beautiful work, I truly feel like I'm back in the most magical day of my life. From the video footage he chose, to the sound clips, it was absolutely perfect! I cannot thank Adam Grumbo films enough for his work and for capturing every single moment of our wedding night! I am SO thankful we had Adam Grumbo as our videographer at our wedding!!! He was the very first wedding vendor we booked--I didn't know much about what flowers, cake, etc we wanted, but I knew I wanted Adam to film it after seeing his amazing work in a friend's wedding video. I actually think Adam is worth changing your wedding date for if he's already booked on your desired date... He is that good & worth every penny (actually so much more)! The way he edited our video & put it all together perfectly captures the magic of our special day. It's a real tear jerker in some parts as he captures the deep love between my husband & I & then in other parts of the video he perfectly edits the funny moments & the fun times. Watching Adam's films are so much more than a typical recorded wedding video. The way he edits & puts it all together gives you your own film that has a quality good enough to be on TV or in the movies. Our video has been shared around social media by family & friends & our video is making people cry who don't even know my husband or me! I should add that it was pouring down rain on my wedding day, but Adam didn't let it get in the way of anything. On top of his amazing work he is also lots of fun to work with!! He gets great coverage without making you feel like you have a camera in your face. I also have to add that I consider myself a high maintenance bride that emailed Adam a hundred times with song preferences (& then updated song preferences), things I wanted or didn't want in our video & he remembered every little thing I ever mentioned to him--so impressive! My husband Jol & I will cherish our wedding film for the rest of our lives. Most wedding budgets require you to focus on certain areas of spending... Do not skip the videographer! At the end of the day all you're left with are your memories, but thankfully Adam gives you the perfect way to relive your wedding day over & over again! Thank you Adam Grumbo!!!

Adam was a pure delight to interact with prior to our wedding, during our wedding, and after! In our discussions prior to the wedding he was very accessible, courteous, and made me feel like our wedding video was in great hands. During our wedding, he was incredibly polite and professional to me and all of our guests...and he managed to get some amazingly intimate shots of some of the most special moments during our ceremony and reception and was so discreet our guests (and me!) didn't even realize there were cameras around! It was awesome!! After the wedding, he delivered our film in a very quick timeframe and it was absolutely amazing! The quality was beyond our expectations -- it is truly a work of art and we are soooo grateful to Adam and his team for not only delivering on their promise, but exceeding it. My son and his new wife are so so glad they decided to hire Adam Grumbo! The memories he captured are priceless. The video is so special, we relive the wedding every time we watch it. I admit,I have to watch with the audio turned off because it makes me cry:) Having a video of the wedding and reception is worth every penny!!

We had Adam and Jim as the videographers for my sister's Dominican Republic destination week wedding. These guys are the best. Not only did they do her video for her wedding but they were with us almost the entire week following us around taking video for our Dominican Republic Excursions. We went sailing, snorkeling, cave exploring and they captured stunning shots from all those adventures. My first impression of them was that they were incredible fun and easy to talk to. They are also super professional too. These guys would always be the first ones up and the last ones to go to bed. They were always up early trying to capture beautiful sunrises or late capturing sunsets and time lapses of the night sky. They were prepared with all the best equipment for every situation. They had like 5 go-pros, this awesome stabilizer for the go-pro so that while we were on the bumpy road on the bus or on a speedboat the video that they were capturing would be smooth. They also had the best cameras and lenses on the market. The other amazing thing they had was this helicopter where they would mount their go-pro to capture beautiful aerial shots. They also captures underwater life too which was great for when we went snorkeling. This was incredible! They have a unique ability to see and capture beauty on film. Absolutely talented team. They were a joy to have around for the week. We had a lot of fun with them and we enjoyed the video they put together. Their video is seriously the best video I have ever seen in my life and I have seen a lot since my boyfriend is a camera operator for tv/film so I see a lot of video from a lot of people. The way the video flows naturally and the music they put along with the video they capture bring you to tears every time. The video is incredibly high definition and stunning. I can honestly say I wish I could hire them full time to follow me around all day long every day of my life to shoot videos of my life. Any special event I have from now on these guys will be hired without a doubt. I highly recommend them to anyone. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the work or their company. Adam is passionate and knowledgeable about his work. His passion shows when he talks about it and one of the things that stuck with me was how he says "I always try to out do my last video" and it shows! The other thing I love about Adam is that he is always thinking about cool new ways to shoot video and investigating the latest technologies to try to get the coolest and most amazing videos that no one else will have. I saw all of Adam's videos and loved his work. He was present at my wedding and worked all day. The trouble came after the wedding was over. Adam took two years to work on my video. He still has not made the simple changes he promised to make over six months ago, one of which was to add the wedding date. He made promises to deliver my preview and my video to me, that took over a year. And still over a year later, he has not completed the video or given me any of the refund he promised. I wish that I had a video that I could love like the other brides on this site. However, I feel like I spent money on something that was thrown together. Adam kept stringing my husband I along, making promises to complete our video, all to the point of two years past my wedding date. Brides, save your time and money and go with someone who cares about their customers.

I don't understand why someone would choose anyone other than Adam in the Austin area, or anywhere, to be honest. I'm so glad there is someone of his talent level in the wedding business, because it was hard to find anyone as good as him who didn't throw what look like Instagram filters on every frame. We haven't gotten our final video yet, but even just our trailer will be timeless and classic and something we will show our kids and grandkids one day. The music was so perfect, and the different shots describe us in a way that words or pictures cannot. Adam is not only a great videographer, but he knows exactly how to edit everything to create a masterpiece. My husband and I paid for the video ourselves, knowing how important it was to me to capture the actual feeling of the wedding day, and after we got the trailer, my family all understood why it was so important, too. I don't regret for a second paying the extra money for a videographer. Adam and Jim showed true professionalism throughout the day, putting everyone at ease, and had a lot of fun trying different shots with us. We are so excited to see the final product and are so happy Adam and Jim were a part of our wedding day!

Our photographer recommended Adam Grumbo & so thats where we first heard about him. Once seeing all of his videos, I wanted to book him so bad, but with wedding budgets going through the roof, it seemed like other things were more important. Until I saw a wedding video from the exact location of where we were about to get married, was when we knew hiring him as our videographer was a MUST! Aside from his obvious talent of capturing the best moments & the moments you don't even think will matter, him & his team are so extremely professional & easy to work with. He listens to exact detail when explaining what kind of video your looking for & what you like about certain wedding videos. We received our dvd the other day & cant count how many times we've watched it! You will not regret choosing Adam Grumbo as your videographer!

Many people asked if i was getting a videographer when i was planning and i didn't put much thought into it. BUT im so glad my husband insisted it! During the wedding my family and friends kept complimenting about how adam and my photographer were capturing EVERY SINGLE MOMENT and detail during the day. Adam Grumbo films did an amazing job i couldn't be happier at the final video and trailer! He uploaded the trailor so promptly and had my husband and i in tears! when we viewed the full video it literally took us back to the day... but there was something extra all the stuff you can't remmeber from the actual day and all the litle moements we may have missed.. ADAM got everything! The final videos are amazing and we couldn't be happier! my family and friends loved working with him during the wedding. Lastly I WOULD DEF recommend ADAM GUMBO FILMS, beleive me you will be happy you have videos to remember your big day that goes by too fast !

As amazing of a day as our wedding day was, not all moments are captured because of the busy environment we are placed in. This day was ours so everyone wanted to communicate and wish you their thoughtful wishes. Having someone with the talent, resources, and most importantly personality to capture those moments is the most important part of the wedding. Adam was all and much more as described. From his first introduction, I knew this was going to be the best choice we have made for the wedding!! His passion and drive to make our wedding a memorable experience was very noticeable! After around 5 min of shooting, he was like a part of the wedding because he felt like a close friend and all my wedding party enjoyed his presents. When my wife and I planned our wedding, I stated to her that we are investing all this money into 6-8 hours of our lifes, it is important that we can relive it whenever we wanted and finding Adam was a blessing because everything he provided exceeding any expectation I could have ever imaged!!! Well worth the cost of his services!!

I first discovered Adam 3 years ago on Facebook. I was lucky to stumble upon a wedding video he did for a family friend. Five minutes into the video, I knew Adam was special! My older brother was getting married shortly after I discovered the video, so without hesitation, I showed my parents as well as my brother and his fiancée Adam's work with hopes that they would want to use him for their wedding. They all loved the video and immediately contacted Adam to film my brothers special wedding weekend. Adam captured the entire weekend beautifully, and their video is nothing less than perfect. When I got engaged last year, I knew I HAD to have Adam film the most important moment in my life. If I remember correctly, I believe we booked Adam before booking our church and reception venue :) Choosing Adam as our videographer was by far one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process! Adam is a joy to work with. He is professional and respectful, as well as extremely genuine and kind. He makes you feel comfortable at all times, and 99% of the time, you forget he is even there. He is like a fly on the wall capturing little masterpieces one shot at a time. He is a true artist and his creativity is phenomenal. I remember being worried that my small home town of Morgan City, Louisiana would not be an exciting place for Adam to get "good shots." I don't even know why I was worried because Adam captured my hometown beautifully and highlighted areas that mean the most to me. His assistant Allison is AWESOME as well! Every Batman needs a Robin, and Allison is definitely Adam's Robin. With Allison's help, Adam was basically able to be in two places at once and every moment of our wedding weekend is documented! Seriously, they captured EVERYTHING. The Adams/ Dozar family loves loves loves Adam Grumbo Films. We were lucky to be able to use Adam and Allison for the third Adams family wedding in December. Yes that's right, Adam has filmed all three of my parents, children's weddings. Once again, Adam and Allison traveled down to Morgan City, La to film my other brother's wedding weekend. We are anxiously waiting the final film because we know it will be amazing! It saddens us to think that we won't be seeing Adam for anymore Adams Family weddings (well until Adams grandkids come and start getting married :)) Adam has given my family the best gifts we could have received, and we will cherish our wedding videos and memories forever! Hiring both a photographer and a videographer was the best decision my husband and I made. After doing a substantial amount of research on pricing, quality, and styles of wedding films around the Austin area, we chose Adam Grumbo for his professional eye to detail, the style of his films, and his reasonable prices. I absolutely love our wedding video from Adam. From our first meeting to the very end, he was professional and personable. There is phenominal quality and care in his work. During the wedding, I barely noticed he and his second camera man were there. He was unassuming and out of the way, yet managed to capture excellent shots! None of my guests (even my camera-shy ones) felt like they were being filmed. He managed to capture all of the special moments that I had forgotten about after the fact. Now, I can look back and remember the kind words of the officiant, and see all of my loved-one's faces. Adam was also very prompt in finishing the film. I have heard horror stories from friends who didn't see their videos until their first anniversary! Adam had a beautiful finished product to us in under two months. I highly recommend Adam Grumbo as your videographer- you will not be sorry you chose him!

Today, January 8, 2014 is exactly 3 years to the day that Adam filmed our family's first wedding. After having seen Adam's video of a friends wedding, we knew we wanted him and have obviously not been disappointed. Last week he filmed our family's third wedding and we can not wait for the finished product. Adam and his team have always provided the highest quality service from start to finish of each project. His coverage of pre wedding events, rehearsals and dinners, the actual wedding and even post wedding events have been wonderful. At each, he is like a fly on the wall and most people later comment that they didn't even know he was there. He has made the investment to provide only the best in technology and equipment to capture each and every moment. He has honed his editing process to turn out a completed project in a very timely manner. As he has now done three events for our family, it's safe to say he is a member of the family, but he actually proved to be so upon our first meeting. When we met him in New Orleans for the first time in person, it was obvious he would mix well with our family and he quickly set about acquiring all of the special shots that made our first video so wonderful. Like many previous reviews have stated, he provides the type of video that tells a story that you can watch over and over again. We've shown his work to many friends and family and we always receive the same glowing comments for the quality of the production. He is especially adept at capturing and so carefully placing the sentimental moments that truly define his work. In addition, I think he does a wonderful job to include just enough supporting video to truly define a family, their culture and their community. We have actually had discussions about having Adam attend non-wedding events in the future to document other special moments in our family's lives. AMAZING!!! Watching our video...we laughed, we cried, we danced...it was all captured beautifully and perfectly!! Not only did they capture the event flawlessly, they were also fun to have around all day! Hiring Adam Grumbo was one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding process. Adam was so professional, so personable and we could tell by the quality of his previous work, that we were in great hands! Adam has the best of the best camera equipment, he has fabulous videography packages that he offers and he manages to capture EVERY moment without being in your face or obtrusive the entire day. If a picture says 1,000 words, a video by Adam Grumbo says 1,000,000!!! This guy is AMAZING!!!! Adam and his staff were able to capture every moment of our day and surgically weave them together to tell an emotional, personal and lasting story that we will be able to replay for years to come. It was so incredible to get a behind the scenes look at the day, to see the emotions on peoples faces and to re-live the best day of our lives. We have watched the movie over and over again and have yet to make it through with dry eyes. We had an incredible team of vendors for our wedding but honestly, Adam Grumbo was far and away, the best money we spent on our wedding!!! We would HIGHLY recommend him!!!!!

As soon as we got engaged, we set a date and hired Adam -- in that order. The most important thing to us was to have someone capture our day in a way that we would want to look back on it over and over again. We kept hearing how quickly the day goes so we knew we had to find someone with a talent for telling a couple's story and highlighting all the excitement and emotions of the day. When we saw Adam's films on his website, we knew he was the guy we wanted to work with. After having a meeting with him and going over what all he includes in his packages -- a FULL DAY of coverage and a 2 hour documentary edit of the day -- we were sold! Working with Adam on the day of the wedding was so easy. He showed up while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready to get a few shots of all of the nervous anticipation. Then, he headed over to Barr Mansion to get some shots of the venue and catch up with the guys as they were getting ready. We hardly noticed Adam and his assistant videographer at all. They had cameras set up all over the venue catching so many fun moments and details we never would have noticed. Our ceremony was captured beautifully from all different angles and the sound during the ceremony and the speeches came through flawlessly on the finished product. It even rained during our reception, but the cameras he had set up outside were weather-proofed and still caught some great time lapses. Not even a month after our wedding, Adam posted our preview online. It was more beautiful than we could have imagined and we have watched it over and over again. It was so nice to have a little snippet of the day to look back on so soon after the wedding. About 3 months later we received the full-length version DVDs, Blu-Rays and flash drive copies in the mail. Our 15 minute video is GORGEOUS. We have probably watched it a least 15 times since we got it 2 months ago and we will definitely continue to watch it for the rest of our lives! Adam was such a nice guy to work with, very responsive and courteous and always willing to help us with anything and answer any questions we had. I have already recommended him to several friends and would recommend him to absolutely anyone! Thanks so much Adam, you are the BEST!

All along I wanted a videographer for our wedding day, but my husband was not sure if we should get one because of budgeting reasons so he was harder to convince. However, after researching and interviewing several people in the Austin area, we knew that Adam was the person we wanted to go with. His wedding videos are amazing, and they evoke emotion even when you do not know the couple getting married! Adam was very professional throughout the whole process. On the day of our wedding, Adam made sure to say hello, but after that he blended right in with our wedding party and guests, so we both felt like he was never even there. We are so glad he was though because he was able to capture so many special moments that we were unable to. People always say that your wedding day goes by like a blur, and they are right! When our wedding day ended we could not believe it was over, and we were so sad because we felt we did not get to see everything that had happened or appreciate all the hard work that went into preparing for our wedding day. However, thankfully we have a video to document our whole day for us, and it will always be a treasured memory. Last week we received our final wedding video, and both my husband and I were blown away with the quality of it. It is very clear that Adam puts so much time and effort into making such an extraordinary video, and the end product is really a testament of his unbelievable talent. The two hour documentary was very well edited, but then the 15 minute version of our wedding day was just AMAZING. He really captured the whole essence of our wedding day in just 15 minutes. The moments he chose, the swooping shots of the backgrounds, the attention to details, and the music he chose could not have been any better! Everyone in our families and even people at work who did not attend our wedding were in tears by the end of the video. Truly amazing job, and I really can not say enough amazing things about Adam or the video. We are incredibly appreciative of this wedding video which to be honest, is really a work of art!! Our wedding photographs were great, but the video is PRICELESS and I am so happy that we will have this the rest of our lives to show our children someday and watch every year on our anniversary! I wanted to share what a wonderful experience we had with Adam Grumbo! My husband and I are both working professionals in the film industry in Los Angeles, so our expectations for our wedding videographer were very high! We decided on Adam because his work was very creative, yet clean at the same time. On the day of, Adam could not have been more helpful or professional! He arrived at our venue before our coordinators (!) to set up shots and prep. I loved working with Adam because he is so friendly and easy-going. He worked really well with my photographer and other vendors, as well. I think one of the greatest things was how little he interfered or made himself noticeable during our ceremony and reception. It was almost like he wasn't even there, and my husband and I and our guests could really relax and enjoy ourselves while we celebrated. When we received the footage, I was completely blown away. It is gorgeous!! There are so many amazing moments that he captured - And, I didn't even know he was there! He also provided such a wide and interesting variety of footage. My husband is a film editor, and he wanted to make our wedding video himself. Adam was so great in working with us to achieve this. I can't wait to see what my husband creates, and we are so lucky to have worked with Adam. He's talented, professional and just such a nice person!

Adam was responsive to my initial email contacts. He was willing to work my new son-in-law, a film editor in Los Angeles, to deliver what he and my daughter wanted. His crew was AMAZING that night of the wedding! And my SIL says the video is superb!! We all think Adam is great!

I can't recommend Adam enough. He was there for our entire wedding day from the Vietnamese tea ceremony in the morning through the reception following the, as my wife puts it, "white people ceremony" at night. The footage turned out great and was delivered faster than we anticipated. I don't hand out that 5 star rating lightly: Adam was truly the best.

When my husband and I got engaged I told him that more than anything I wanted a great photographer and an amazing videographer. I knew the day would fly by and I wanted a video to remember all the details and the things I didn't even know happened on that day. We searched for videographers online and I fell in love with a video of a sweet couple on Adam's website. We were planning our wedding from another state and luckily Adam was nice enough to set up a conference call for my husband and I to chat with him and ask all of our questions. We could tell he loved what he did and we agreed that his videos were amazing. The decision was made and he was wonderful to work with. On the day of the wedding I left our venue to get my hair done and have lunch and when I returned Adam and his second videographer were already there shooting scenery shots. He was very professional and polite and let us know we wouldn't even know he was there. He was right! With the exception of the few times he asked for some responses for the video, he blended into the background. He told us the video would be ready in 4 months and kept his word. When we received the link to the video I couldn't stop watching it. We shared it with our family and friends and they all loved it. We recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary and we watched our highlight video to look back on the big day. I'm so glad that we chose to have a videographer to capture those wonderful memories and Adam did such a great job capturing them. I highly recommend his work.

How to write a review for an exquisite video of "the Wedding Of A Lifetime" uniting two beautiful families with vows exchanged by my grand daughter Heather and my new grand son, Jason? Words like beautiful, lovely, breath taking, and fabulous seem inadequate once you watch this loving and movable captured moment in time. From the tiny detail of Cooper's note to his Mother, the close ups of the vows and the lovely butterflies. If you are looking for perfection, you will not find it, as it does not exist. However, if you are looking the closest thing, Adam is your man without a doubt. He is patient, dedicated, skilled and extremely skilled. Do not hesitate to give him a call.

Adam met with us before the wedding to learn more about our wedding day. We gave him some ideas of things we wanted and, with his creativity and experience, he gave some great suggestions that took our ideas to a new level. He is very easy going, flexible and professional which put us at ease. We were meeting with our photographer right after our meeting with Adam and he wanted to stay to introduce himself to the photographer which we thought was very considerate. On the wedding day, Adam and his team were the first to arrive at the venue - this allowed for some great footage and greatly decreased our stress level (we didn't have to track him down). We had also requested that someone from his team be at the hotel very early in the morning - his team member showed up on time, was very courteous and captured some great moments. We had a very small wedding so our ceremony and reception were short. We wanted to shoot some footage at 2 other locations around town after the wedding and Adam was very willing and cooperative! He never rushed us and was willing to go along with our spontaneous requests and even suggested that we should run and twirl in the middle of the street - one of our favorite moments! Adam works with extremely high quality equipment which gave great results. He brings several different types of cameras which captured footage that was very cinematic. He also had several cameras set up all around the chapel to ensure that we had footage from different angles - some videographers would charge extra for this service but Adam did not. Adam also provided some microphones for us to use during the ceremony and reception. You can tell from his videos that these microphones are amazing - it provided very crisp and clear sound quality - something very important to us. Adam told us that he was decreasing the number of weddings he works which would help decrease the turnaround time for future couples. For us, the turnaround time was about 7 months. It is longer than usual but we knew it would be worth the wait and that Adam would produce a brilliant product. Other vendors can decrease their turnaround time by setting the whole video to some pop music, having someone else edit the video or not paying attention to the details but that is NOT Adam's style which was why we hired him. The final video product speaks for itself - just watch a couple of his work and you will find yourself tearing up because he captures a couple's love story flawlessly. Let me say that his editing skills are one of the best in the business - it is IMPECCABLE and why his fees are a little higher and it takes a little more time. The flow, music selection, and details were phenomenal! I find myself comparing every wedding video I've watched to Adam's work and saying to myself "Adam would never make a music video for us", "Adam wouldn't make that moment seem so cheesy and amateur", "Adam would've captured those vows clearly", "that moment wouldn't be so blurry if Adam was hired" - you get the idea... The video comes in a very nice and personalized case. Adam wants to make sure you enjoy your video and he'll contact you after he sends out the product to make sure that you are "100% happy" - his words. If not, he'll quickly make any changes necessary. Great customer service. If you want high quality work that is timeless - hire Adam!! He is a rare gem in the industry.

My husband and I were not sure if we should get a videographer or not because of budgeting reasons. Having these memories caught on tape was the best decision we could have made and Adam helped us by working within our budget. Being able to see and hear the moments that were so important, like rehearsal dinner speeches and the wedding ceremony are so priceless. Not to mention there are so many great things caught on tape that we never would have known about. Everyone says you won't remember you're wedding day. It's definitely true how quick and blurry everything goes by. You have to have a videographer and Adam is the BEST!! On the day of the wedding, I feel like he blended in and I never even saw him. There were hidden cameras, sweeping boom cameras, and I don't know what else but he caught every angle and didn't miss a moment (including the beautiful night stars- which he had one camera pointed at all night and which caught a shooting star). He also got everyone on tape which is really impressive. Because of the amount of hidden cameras and great videography, he captured everyone in their natural element and made everyone look awesome. He is INCREDIBLE at what he does and his videos speak for himself. Watch some of his video and you can tell how much he cares and loves what he does. We are coming up on our year anniversary and no joke, we have watched our video about 100 times with all our family's and friends. Sounds egotistical but he did such a great job capturing everything that anyone can enjoy the video. He also did our rehearsal dinner and captured and made a video of the speeches, our reactions, and the slide show- ALL at the same time..incredible and so entertaining. If all that doesn't convince you, he is so awesome that he will be doing my future sister-in-laws wedding in two weeks and I've already asked for my copy. Thanks so much Adam!!

We hired Adam for our wedding for last april. I had seen a review online about another unhappy client of his who had waited for more than 7 months and had not received his video yet. I went against my better judgement and hired Adam regardless of that review because I liked his work. Adam verbally promised that my preview would be ready in 2 weeks time. Sadly, we had many family members overseas who could not make it to our wedding, so I stressed to Adam the importance of a quick turn around specially for the preview. It took Adam no sooner than 8 months to get my 6 minute preview ready! He has promised me several deadlines for my video to be ready and still is not meeting any of his own deadlines. I have never in my life left a negative review for anyone and it saddens me to do so. But It is almost my one year anniversary and I still have not received our video. Friends of mine who were married months after us, already have their video ready. Do NOT USE ADAM!

My husband and I are very disappointed in this vendor. We got married on 17 Sept 2011 and still have not received our medium length or documentary length videos. We were sent the teaser video on our one year wedding anniversary. It was a lovely video but not worth waiting a year for. I have not rated the quality because we don't have the videos to properly rate that category. We have been extremely patient with Adam and we feel he has taken such horrible advantage of that patience. We have asked for multiple progress reports or dates when we could have completed videos with none given to us. We paid thousands for these videos because we have family outside of the country who couldn't be with us on our big day but wanted to share in our moment. Over a year later we are still waiting...

My daughter and son in law decided they wanted a film to remember their rehersal night and wedding day. They saw Adams work and hired him to film the wedding and reception. He did an icredible job. He captured the best parts of both days and put together a video that will be watched over and over again. He seemed to know when and where to be to record the best parts of the weekend. The way he strung it all together with the video, audio and music made it a very professional and very well done. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone who wants to remember the special times.

My daughter and her fiance chose Adam Grumbo for their wedding videographer out of several suggested by our wedding planner. Am I ever thankful that they did. He is a true artist. The film captures the feel of the wedding beautifully. The way he juxtaposed the ceremony with the reception was brilliant. The music the production was set to was perfect. He incorporated everything while still keeping it interesting for people that weren’t an integral part of the wedding. In addition to his artistic abilities he is EASY to work with…we were unaware that he was even present and the finished product was produced in a very reasonable amount of time. When we thought there was a glitch with the disc (there wasn’t) he came to our home immediately to correct the problem. I thought his prices were fair and well worth the quality of work produced. This film is probably this single most important recorded memory we are going to have of this special day and I am sincere when I say I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else for the job! Thanks Adam!

Adam produced the most incredible video of our wedding which captured every emotion we felt that day so that we can relive it for the rest of our lives. We had our video in hand within 48 hours of our wedding!!!! AMAZING turnaround time and the quality of the video is beyond anything I could have imagined. All of our guests were amazed by the quality of the video and began sharing it with people who did not even know us and THEY cried watching it. Until we have kids, this video will be our most prized possession. Initially we did not want a videographer but changed our minds two weeks before the wedding and Adam was so great about fitting us into his already busy schedule. I cannot say how lucky I feel that we made the last minute decision to hire him. He was extremely professional and has an insane ability to see things and record them in a way that is almost dreamlike. When I watch the video I almost can't believe that our wedding actually looked so beautiful. But Adam created the proof. The angles, panning, close ups, sceneries, editing, EVERYTHING are on a level of video producing I thought only people like Brangelina could have for their wedding. UNBELIEVABLE. Mad props. Thank goodness we found Adam. We are recommending him to all our unmarried friends and only hope that we have the pleasure of working with him again if we have another event that he would be willing to work with us on. By far the best investment of our entire wedding and our most prized possession.

A video and photos are the only pieces of your wedding that are left after the day has passed. My fiance was hesistant about a video, but now that we've received ours, he's said he's so glad we did it. Watching it has very clearly brought back how everything felt that day...the emotions, the sounds, it's all so real, and it's actually been much more so than looking at our photos (which were also amazing). Take a look at the trailer's on Adam's site - I laughed and teared up watching people I didn't even know on his site - that's how well he captures it all. The quality is top notch. To top it off he's the nicest guy and very down to earth, easy to work with.

A true professional and even came to the rescue with his connections when we needed help in other areas other than videography. A must have!

We received our videos the last week of December. Total turn time was 6 months. I am not sure if this is normal or not. The product is excellent but the promised dates were not met and new promises were made and then not met. We absolutely love the video and had we been told ahead of time to expect this kind of turn time we would have probably been okay with it. Would we use him again? Not sure. We have never seen such an amazing high quality and wonderful wedding video turned into a story, but we are still a bit soured by the commitment failures.

Adam was fantastic start to finish. We found him by accident, and didn't realize what an incredible value he was until we saw our amazing short film, teaser, and documentary. These were totally unlike any other wedding videos we'd ever seen - more story and less "stuff". There's a reason it is Adam Grumbo Wedding "Films" and not "Videos". Because he spends so much time editing, he packs more emotion into 10 minutes of film by than I've ever seen another wedding video - which usually seem to last for hours and are nothing but footage of event after event in the wedding. I've never appreciated how important the editing process is until we showed our video to friends and family who weren't there. Instead of begrudgingly watching what amounts to a slideshow, the were captivated and wanted to watch more. We really appreciated Adam's hard work and are highly recommend him.

Adam was the vendor my husband and I were most excited to work with, for so many reasons. I did a lot of research into videographers and loved his filming & editing style, it was the best I'd seen. He made us both really comfortable, and we walked away from our first meeting with him talking about how much we loved him and his personality. When we met up again to exchange contracts at our brand new apartment in his neck of the woods in Austin, he brought us warm Tiffs Treats & milk! Which was glorious because we had just moved in that day, and the gesture was so sweet. ***When I had a very disappointing experience with my photographer, Adam was able to fix it and give me still shots of the moments the photographer missed. This was a miracle for sure - I was really upset about the holes in coverage I received, until Adam saved the day! It was seriously amazing. AND THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS WONDERFUL!! We'll treasure the videos forever. I'm so glad I found him. He was the vendor I never second-guessed, or never had to worry about. I was always confident in him and knew he'd really blow our minds, and he did! I HIGHLY recommend him to everybody! I'd love to use him again for other events if I get the chance.
