Our experience with Admit One was amazing! We went in for a free consultation, they showed us everything they offered, and we basically created our own "package", which is nice because we weren't paying for services we didn't want/need. We checked out a few other DJ companies before coming to Admit One and WOW, were we pleasantly surprised that Admit One conducts themselves totally different than the companies we checked out. Admit One was very professional yet super down to earth. They have a beautiful office which my now husband and I were so impressed with. The person we initially spoke with asked how me and my husband met and seemed to really personally care about us (total strangers). We told him what we were looking for, what we liked and he gave us all the information and options. They offer an online account, payment plans, a lot of different lighting. It was just really cool to see everything up front. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, again, our DJ was super professional. He has done weddings for 20+ years so he KNEW what he was doing and you can really tell! He stuck to our itinerary with intros and first dances but wasted no time after dinner to get everyone on the dance floor! We had such a blast!

Our DJ was INCREDIBLE! His professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable. He really turned our wedding into an extraordinary celebration. Everyone was dancing and having a great time! We switched up our music to divert from our original playlist that my husband and I curated because no one was dancing. Our DJ knew exactly which songs to play to get everyone on the dance floor. We did some research online, met with different DJ companies, read as many reviews as we could find and Admit One was just the perfect fit for us! There were many great DJs to choose from at the Meet the DJ event. They had different personalities and energy levels but were all very knowledgeable, experienced, and well-spoken. The day of our wedding came and it was so magical. Our DJ really created a fun and social atmosphere with our personal preferences since we did a really non-traditional wedding.

We were so happy with Admit One DJs. It was important to us that our guests be out on the dance floor with us through the night, so we knew who we hired as our DJ was a critical decision. Admit One DJs was the absolute perfect choice and we could not have asked for a better DJ than DJ Terry. Admit One offered a bunch of additional add ons and perks that contributed to the vibe we wanted for the evening, and DJ Terry had all of our guests out on the dance floor the entire night. It seems like everyone complimented our DJ and the music the day after the wedding. We were told by multiple guests that they had never seen a dance floor at a wedding as full as it was at ours, and that the DJ kept the dance floor busy literally all night long. People still comment on how great the music was at our wedding. Admit One was also affordable, despite them being such high quality. All in all, I absolutely would recommend Admit One for anyone looking for a DJ for their big day!

Terry rocked it! So many of our guests commented on how amazing the music was for our wedding. Terry kept everything on track for the night and did a great joy hyping up the crowd. He was professional, responsive and super easy to work with. I loved using Admit One DJs because we were able to meet our DJ ahead of time at the meet the DJ event. The online portal was a little dated, but super easy to use and helpful for organizing the songs we wanted played. I couldn't have picked a better DJ for our wedding night.

Admit One was one of the top-reviewed wedding DJ services in the area on The Knot. They have a team of experienced DJs who specialize in weddings. They offer personalized playlists and work with you to create the perfect soundtrack for your big day. The cool thing was their customized playlist section of their online account. They offered a feature for "do not play", which I loved because I didn't want a certain genre and a specific song played and they made sure to NOT play it! It seems silly but they really put effort into making us feel special; like we were their only client.

I wish we could give more than 5 stars. The ease of working with our DJ and the company was amazing! The interactions we had were always pleasant and friendly. They are super informative and their customer service is really nice. I loved working with them and would definitely recommend! I didn't know they did other events too, so I'll be sure to use them for my company party that's coming up soon! Yay!

Admit One was professional and great to work with. I liked getting to speak to all of the DJs to select one for our wedding. You can definitely tell they all had different styles/personalities but all of them were great and informative. Our DJ was fun and really knew what he was doing. Our wedding was a blast, everything seemed so flawless! I loved everything!

I would think having our guests bored and not on the dance floor would be every bride and groom's nightmare. Well, that's exactly what happened. No one was dancing, our guests were leaving but the DJ came to the rescue!!! He interacted with our guests, switched up the playlist from what my wife and I selected and by the end of the evening, the dance floor was packed! I would say let your DJ have control because he really picked great, popular songs to get the party started and actually kept it going! We had such a great time!

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Admit One for anything and everything! They were great AND easy to work with. They didn't have set packages, which I liked because I picked what I wanted and didn't have to pay for anything I didn't! I loved their customer service and how friendly the DJ was. Everything about this company was so professional and very on point. Our DJ was great and knowledgeable. He said he has been doing this for over 25 years, so that really put us at ease that he knew what we was doing and it really showed on our wedding day. We didn't have to come up to him or ask him anything. We talked to him several times before the wedding and felt super comfortable.

As the mother of the bride and paying for the whole wedding, I attended the consultation. The gentleman that we met with was very friendly and inviting that I was there. He gave us all the information about what they offer, what is included and then went over the pricing. We told him what we liked and what we didn't want/need. They offered several different lights, which was fun. There were these large color changing sticks, these spinning box looking ones, large cube ones. They had a payment plan and were flexible. The day of the wedding came and it was really planned out, the DJ knew exactly what he was doing. The intros went smooth, dinner music was perfect. We initially had several songs on our playlist but they didn't seem popular with our crowd; no one was dancing! OMG it was like a nightmare. Luckily our DJ changed things up after he discreetly came up to my daughter to ask/make sure he can divert from the playlist. Thankfully he did! He really saved the night!

We spoke with several other DJ companies before finalizing with Admit One. We like to do our research, make sure we are getting a good price. We don't mind paying a little extra for better quality service in general, so I'm glad we shopped around to see how the competition compares to Admit One. Most of the other companies we checked out were quick; just gave us a quote after us telling them our wedding date and how many hours our reception was. We need to know what is included, who our DJ is, how the process works. It seemed rushed and "just give me your money and we will be there for your wedding". I don't typically do business like that, so after a consultation with Admit One, we were happy they spoke to us about the details, what equipment they use, the details about what goes into a DJ service/events. I'm not going to lie, we DID go to a few other places after Admit One but were just really disappointed and then signed with Admit One! The day of our wedding was professional yet fun. We have a little bit more serious crowd but our DJ had them dancing and having fun! This is definitely something we will remember for the rest of our lives! I will recommend them every time!

We attended several weddings last year and they all used Admit One DJs! It was comical because with how many DJ companies/contract DJs there are, my friends/family were referred to Admit One, and then they in turn referred us! I loved their work and how fun the DJs were at the weddings. We went in for a free meeting and we loved everything. We rented several of their lights, a different sound system; they offered ceremony and cocktail hour, not just the reception which was nice. The office had great communication; I called a few times with questions, and they helped me with everything I needed. Our wedding day was just perfect. Our DJ really kept the evening on track and really made our night "magical"!!!

We love Admit One! We couldn't believe how many more reviews they had compared to other companies. Some had only 50 reviews giving 5 stars. This company has over 450 reviews! I was very impressed. I met Admit One at a bridal expo and loved talking to them. They explained in detail everything they offered, the timeline of events up until our wedding. I liked how thorough they were. We booked only 5 months before our wedding, so everything happened fairly quick. We couldn't attend the Meet the DJ event so they assigned us a DJ, which we absolutely loved! We didn't have to worry about putting another thing on our already busy calendar. The DJ reached out to us and we went over details/introductions/dances. The day of came and it was just so amazing! We were never "bothered" by our DJ coming up to us as we went over everything already, he played all the songs we requested but also play some other popular songs to keep everyone dancing! It was seriously so much fun! Thanks Admit One!

Thinking back, I can easily come up with a thousand things I'd change about my wedding but not one to do with Admit One DJs. Music selections - awesome,  Introductions - spot on, Communication - prompt, Value - satisfied. This is the only vendor I'd repeat.

5 out of 5 stars. Our experience was well worth the money we spent. We first saw Admit One DJs at a bridal show. They stood out from all the other services we met with, even non-DJ services.  Very professional and informative.  We were invited to see a live demonstration, followed by a DJ mixer to select our 3 preferred personalities. The reception went smoothly and most importantly, everyone had a great time dancing throughout the night. We especially enjoy the compliments we are still receiving.

I loved Admit One's process! We went in for a free consultation! They weren't pushy or made us feel uncomfortable like those weird sales people, you know what I’m talking about! They were really informative and took their time with us and answered all of our questions. Fast forward, we attended the Meet the DJ event to choose our DJ. It was fun to speak to all of the DJs to see which one we liked best! We selected 3; our first, second, and third choice. All of them were awesome so it was hard to rank them in order. Fast forward again to the wedding. UHHH MAZING! I was so happy with how everything turned out. I read all of the reviews on The Knot and was really surprised at some of the low ratings because I could not be MORE IMPRESSED! Admit One was awesome to work with. We spoke to the General Manager, Greg, who answered a lot of our questions. The office person, Meri, responded to us quickly when we emailed! The day of our wedding was great! Everything was so perfect! We spoke with our DJ several times before the wedding and even the night before! He really assured us and was confident. The guests had a great time and requested songs. We didn't mind even after telling our DJ we wanted to stick to our playlist that we created but the dance floor was packed all night, so I was happy!

First of all, we need to note that Steve Owen was a phenomenal DJ. He helped us feel at ease and excited for the big day and was a major help the day of. So many of our guests raved about how fun and nice he was - we had a handful of friends that stayed on the dance floor most of the night, and they said he was a blast. As for the company itself, we had a mostly good experience. Our sales rep was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and the communication from booking with them to picking our DJ was great. However, a potential note of caution for LGBTQ+ couples: during our meet-the-DJ night, we were the only queer couple in attendance. While this wasn't an issue for us on the surface, we quickly felt out of place. Several of the DJs avoided eye contact with us, two blatantly ignored us, and one spent his conversation with us and another couple cutting us off and ignoring our questions, so much so that the other couple actively tried to bring us into the conversation by asking us about our venue. When we shared our venue, the DJ immediately started talking about how much he hated our venue and how much he hated "that blonde broad" that is in charge there (who, you guessed it, happens to be queer). Thankfully we landed Steve, who was not just professional but kind and supportive of us as a couple. While we're glad there were at least a couple DJs we felt comfortable with, it's incredibly concerning that we only felt welcomed by about 1/3 of the DJs there.

My husband and I got married on 09/24/22 and Admit One was amazing. We loved the fact we could actually meet their DJs and rank our favorites, allowing us to have a DJ who we feel meshed with our personalities. The pager system they have was also a game changer as well. We really loved their online portal, which made it very easy to select songs as well as ensure songs or artists aren't played! Highly recommend!!

We were referred to Admit One by a few friends and coworkers that used them for their weddings. I was surprised that several people used them. We checked the reviews online and were NOT disappointed. Our DJ was a lot of fun! He interacted with our guests and made us, as the bride and groom, feel super special and all eyes on us! We had a wonderful night!

Admit One was the first company we checked out and we had to book them the day we came in for the consultation! We loved everything they had, and they were so professional. Our DJ definitely knew what he was doing and kept the dance floor packed! We selected a couple songs because we aren't the best at knowing popular ones so we let our DJ mix ones that he knew were good to play! We had a blast!

Greg was our DJ and he was so fun and energetic but didn't "steal the show" and everything was about my husband and I! He made the announcements for dinner and our special dances. Everything seemed to run smoothly. We were able to call and text him with any questions and spoke to him several times before our wedding. My husband and I are a young couple (21 and 22), and we really didn't know what we were looking for. We went to a few other DJ companies before meeting with Admit One just to price shop and get more information. Admit One provided so much information and offered lighting, different sound systems, payment plan, etc. None of the other DJ companies we checked out had those things! Also what was cool was they had a Meet the DJ event to meet all the DJs they had so we could pick which one we wanted! Our wedding day was super cool and fun! We rented a lot of the lighting that Admit One offered so it looked like a club! I loved it! Needless to say my husband and I had an amazing time! Thanks Admit One! Highly highly recommend!

My guests have told me over and over that they had such a great time! Behind the scenes had a ton of issues with our venue and our wedding coordinator. That was a nightmare but our DJ was calm, cool and collected! He really ran the show, getting everyone in order and keeping the night on track. I was flustered but at the end of the night it really turned out nicely!

I liked the process that Admit One DJs implements. We came in for an initial complimentary consultation to make sure we liked everything. They don't have set packages, so we basically created our own. I liked that because then we didn't have to pay for anything we didn't want/need or have to mix and match packages. It was cool meeting all of the DJs they had all at one time. That was fun! The day of the wedding was such a blast! Our DJ was professional yet easy to talk to. He was pretty flexible when things changed last minute too, which of course happened several times! My wife and I had such a great time!

I've been to several weddings in my life. Probably too many! I felt like I knew what I liked and what I didn't like from seeing different DJs, bands, MCs, etc. I loved how Admit One was the DJ AND MC and also had the cool lighting features that I wanted! My wedding was huge, with about 400 guests, so Admit One really delivered, and I couldn't say enough good things about them!

My guests had such a fun time! The dance floor was packed. The music was awesome! It was cool because we chose our playlist. It wasn't just random songs, but songs we wanted to hear. We also could mark songs if we didn't like a certain genre or artist. That was interesting! I never saw that before! We had a little snag during dinner service, but that was due to the venue. The DJ got us back on track and the rest of the night was great! Luckily it was only dinner! Phew!

My husband and I love Admit One. I loved the communication they had with us. We spoke to the office girl several times with any questions/payments/etc. and then our DJ multiple times to go over details for the day of. I don't feel like anything bad happened, where it was outrageously out of control. I hear about the worst of the worst happening, but our DJ made it feel seamless and kept the night moving. We had a beautiful time!

Bride and grooms, read the reviews on Google and please learn from our mistake. We were excited and sold into so many "amazing" things that they would offer us and handle for our day. Communication leading up to our wedding was inconsistent - we wouldn't get texted back, then we'd have a call and would get reassured on all the special things we had planned that he got it covered. Any ideas/thoughts we had, they said they would have it under control and reassured us everything would be fine when in reality, I don't think he knew anything. We had over 3 calls with our DJ and went over their "site" in detail a lot. Here is a short list of things that went wrong.1. During Ceremony mics were iffy, didn't have great sound. 2. Our DJ was frantic running around post ceremony (when he was supposed to be at cocktail hour?). Found us as we just finished pictures asking us who the dances/songs belonged to with our parents (we had them in the system and went over this many times). He also didn't know who was speaking first/the order of speeches. 3. Our bridal party and parents announcement’s were all wrong. Played wrong music for our parents, said "maid of honor" vs. "matron" which I noted in their system. Pronounced our siblings names wrong. The volume and pace was awkward. 4. Our Mr. and Mrs. announcements was SO quiet. We could not hear our walk in song that we were SO excited about. The speakers weren't working. He played a random cake song and started talking into the mic .vs playing our song. We had a special message as I was using the cake knife of my late grandma, and he starting having me show off the knife to the crowd which was not in the script.5. Volume, speakers and whole set up was busted before dinner even started, didn't seem to be computing that he needed to solve the issue. The speakers all night were cracking, music was low, all you heard was screeching. All the guests noticed. At one point, nobody was on the dance floor.6. We gave him a specific dinner playlist because we had notes and songs dedicated to each table. He didn't play it until we had to go up to him and tell him to play it. We went over that many times in detail, texted him the playlist and never got a response. How do you not play a "Dinner Playlist"? 7. He was doing his sound check during dinner since the sound was not working. He was pacing around the dance floor...8. Messed up the speech order and was not on top of the logistics for calling people out. Told us he'd give MOH and BM warnings-nope, just randomly called them to the stage and my MOH had to run from across the room because she was putting flowers in place. 9. Had ONE do not play song. Guess what he played? That song. 10. Music was horrible, played cheesy music.11. Told him we wanted a good wrap up song and he knew of a few to use. Our wedding ended with an abrupt mid-song turning off music and lights coming on. 12. He played our first dance song in the middle of the song then had to re-start it so we were just sitting there awkwardly for a minute. We were devastated at the sound quality and tried to complain to the owner but were met with even more disappointment, 14. Just got our pictures back and John, our DJ was in multiple background shots of me and my mom walking down the aisle. There was not one special moment we had planned during the reception that did not get ruined due the quality of Admit One.

John was really easy to work with. He kept the dance floor full and kept our guests moving. He even saved a good portion of the reception when a fire alarm went off. Once it was cleared, he got everyone back on the dance floor. Highly recommend!

After reading all of the reviews on The Knot, I was completely impressed how many 5 star reviews they had and how many reviews in general. On the homepage to view the DJs some companies have 100 or 50 reviews, but Admit One has over 400! I read the 1 star reviews and it just really seems like there is another side to the story that the reviewer isn't mentioning but we will never know! After seeing all the reviews we set up an appointment and were definitely blown away with their showroom and what they had to offer, so we booked that night! Fast forward to meeting the DJs event; that was cool! Loved getting to speak with everyone in one night. All of the DJs seemed so down to earth, approachable, and knowledgeable. We received our 2nd choice DJ, and we were really so happy with him the day of our wedding and leading up to it! It was hard for us to rank them! Ugh! Fast forward again to the day of; ABSOLUTELY! BREATH TAKING! I was initially stressed because obviously it's the actual day of my wedding, but everything just seemed to fall into place and we weren't just going through the motions, but was enjoying myself! It was beautiful! Thank you Admit One!

The company was wonderful to work with, really went the extra mile for our wedding. Shout out to Gio, the DJ we requested who DJ'd our wedding, he was fantastic.

I've been married twice before, with this being my 3rd marriage. The first time, I went with live music. The 2nd time we had a DJ. I LOVED the live band for my first wedding, so I was thinking maybe to do a band again. We didn't hear of Admit One when I was married the last time, but we stumbled upon them at a bridal expo! They seemed super fun and different from the DJ I had before, so we checked them out! THEY WERE SO MUCH COOLER THAN MY LAST DJ! I cannot even tell you! It was really a night and day difference. I felt like our last DJ did their job and played the music, but Admit One was dancing, really interactive and fun with our guests and us! We were really entertained and the night just flew by! If I get married again (heaven forbid), I would use Admit One AGAIN!

Admit One was super professional, yet down to earth, easy to talk to, and had a lot to offer. We rented a lot of their cool lighting features. They had a different sound system/speakers that made the music sound so much better, more clear, like a HD if you will. We needed ceremony services, which they offered as well. It was a one stop shop! Our DJ was laid back and really personable, not up tight! Loved him!

We were considering a live band at first. We spoke with a few bands and then several DJ companies just to get information because I really preferred a DJ over a band. Admit One was the very last company we spoke with and they were sooo informative! I felt like they didn't rush us, answered all of our questions, and it was as if they were there just for us! The other companies kind of gave us the information and sent us on our way, which I didn't like. With that being said, of course we went with Admit One and we are so happy we did! The wedding night was awesome! We had a lot of communication with our DJ before the wedding, so any concerns/details were provided to him and we didn't have to tell him what to do/what needs to be done! I didn't want to have to run the evening myself! The night went smooth and our dance floor was packed! We had a lot of interactive songs/games, so it was so much fun!

It took much more time and work to plan a wedding than we ever expected. I have to say, one of our favorite vendors was Admit One DJs. The whole process was very helpful and enjoyable. Support was always there whenever we had questions. Loved the evening out to meet the staff of DJs. Like others have said, we got many compliments from our guests dancing, singing or tapping their toes to the beat whenever they weren't out on the dance floor. 10 stars!

My first marriage unfortunately didn't work out. About six years later, I found my  best friend and the love of my life. After we decided to get married,  I remember thinking,  the only vendor I would consider repeating was my DJ. When attending a bridal show, I was delighted to see Admit One DJs. The representative was very flattered after I told him  about wanting to repeat their services. They really took care of us and felt like we were VIP. The second time around, everything was done so professionally and I am not sure but they seemed to have improved their services from what I recall from my previous experience. I am very happy I chose Admit One DJs a second time.

Great party! Too bad we can only give 5 stars. Our guests said this was the best DJ performance they have ever heard. Did an amazing job for us and very proud we picked this DJ company.
