Where do I even begin! Amber was an absolute dream to work with. Her photos speak for themselves but her sprit is what really shines through. From the moment she walked into our bridal suite her energy, joy and laughter made this experience a dream come true. Her communication was wonderfully warm and she made my wife and I who are usually camera shy feel so comfortable — we’ve never felt more beautiful! We feel so lucky to have been able to work with her and will treasure our photos forever!

Working with Amber for our wedding was a dream. She is so incredibly sweet and talented. I’m normally a camera shy person, but Amber has one of those personalities that immediately puts you at ease. She hyped us up every picture and made our sessions just plain fun. She immediately understood our vision and worked with us to make sure that she could capture the vibe of our wedding. I adore her and her work in every possible way. I cannot recommend her enough. I would book her over and over again if I could.

I initially reached out to Amber because her style and portfolio were stunning; I am not one for “light and airy”, and finding someone to who fit my style vision was really important to me. From our first messages I just knew Amber was going to be the perfect photographer for us! Her fun personality shines through even in an email, and we just clicked right away! Despite numerous covid reschedules and plan changes she was so helpful and understanding, and when we finally got to have our big day it went off without a hitch. Amber worked really seamlessly with our videographer to get some truly amazing shots, and her eye for lighting really made our photos unique. I feel like she truly captured the joy of the day and I couldn’t be happier 💖we’ve received so many compliments on our gorgeous wedding photos and I can’t help but smile every time I look at them!

The minute that Amber arrived on site on wedding day I knew it was going to be a great day. Not only does she prioritize the couple above all else, she is also extremely friendly and accommodating to the vendor team and the other guests. Her joy is unmatched and her passion for her couples and her job is so evident. Amber was an amazing photographer for our wedding!! She was really helpful and kind when we had to postpone our wedding a few times last year. We were blown away by her great energy on the day of our wedding! :) my husband and I are both more introverted so her fun energy and guidance were so important to us! Amber was amazing! We just got our photos back and everyone agrees they are the best anyone has ever seen! Amber is so nice to work with: kind , thoughtful and just sneaks around getting the best photos. She’s not the person we’ve all experienced yelling at us to get in photos she is there to take in the experience everyone is having and her photos capture that. Amber came all the way to France for our wedding and was there for 3 whole days! She became part of the gang and made everyone very comfortable in front of the camera ! I don't even know where to begin. Amber was the absolute best decision we made. We booked Amber in February of 2019, she stood with us through the 2 postponements and when we finally got to our wedding day she knocked it out of the park! Amber blended in seamlessly with our wedding party and made sure everyone was smiling and having fun through the many pictures. We did engagement photos with Amber as well and those were so beautiful that we used them for save the dates and invitations. Amber was such a pleasure to work with and was super flexible with us after COVID forced us to completely change our wedding venue. She really makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and went above and beyond for us. She also sent our photos relatively quickly which we were surprised given how busy she is. I found Saddleback Studios, otherwise named the incomparable Amber Lamphere, by searching wedding hashtags on Instagram. I was immediately captured by her stunning work. Amber understands how to make the most out of the light and the environment she is given, she brings out the best in it. This quality extends to how she works with her clients, she brings out the best in them. From our very first interaction over the phone, throughout the intervening months, and on our wedding day, Amber made my now husband and I feel so at ease and comfortable. We were able to relax and simply enjoy the day without worrying if our memories were being captured. Unsurprisingly, the final product was stunning and expertly edited. We couldn't have been happier! Most importantly, Amber loves what she does and this facet distinctly shines through when she's on the job. She will literally wade into rivers and climb up mountains to capture unique and interesting shots that other photographers wouldn't even begin to attempt. This effort is rewarded in the kinds of photos she takes. They're all exquisite. I'm lucky enough now to call her a good friend and we hang out regularly. AMBER ahhhh it's so hard to put words together expressing how much my husband and I love her! From the moment I came across the instagram for Saddleback studios, the vibe was everything I wanted & more. All of her photos tell a story and the best part is when looking at her pictures of couples you can almost feel the love the couple has for one another. It's chilling! When I was first giving the chance to speak to her, it felt as though I was catching up with an old friend! We could've talked for hours. Sounds crazy but that's how amazing she is, she's so personable, funny, energetic , so positive, amazing, calming and SO MUCH MORE! I hung up the phone and without doubt in my mind I knew I found photographer person! She is one of the most talented photographers we have ever met! I felt as though it was fate finding her, she had shot at the venue we were using, I knew someone she had shot with, finding her was totally meant to be! The best part is she is down for anything, we wanted to go hiking for our engagement shoot, and Amber was completely on board, no questions asked! Shooting with her is the best experience, she takes all the nerves away and makes you so comfortable. To be honest I think we spent the majority of time giggling every time we were with her! I will say she can handle bridal parties, we may have been small but my goodness the energy we had, could have been a lot for anyone to handle! Amber just all around crushed it!! If you're looking for the best experience with endless giggles, amazing photos, and the crazy talented up beat and sweetest photographer, Amber is hands down your girl! We closed the door on our wedding with not only the pleasure of working with her incredible skills, but we can say we're walking away with a new friend and that's the best feeling! Although Amber's photography talent clearly speaks for herself I am sad to say my experience with her was not what I had hoped. When I had first reached out to her at the beginning of June her responses were quick, friendly, and informative. We discussed brief details and got her booked for our big day. Mid July I had reached out to her to discuss the timeline of our day due to having family, hair and makeup artists, minister, and everyone else on hold for answers as we were unsure of timing with our wedding only 3 months away. She had responded although did not answer my question. After waiting a month for details I reached back out, yet again with no response. I waited about a week and a half to send another text in hopes of not coming across as pushy. Seeing that she was active on her social media yet would not respond I decided to reach out to her on another platform for communication a few days later. She acknoledged the texts that she had ignored and we spoke briefly. I asked if she would be interested in meeting for details yet I never recieved an answer to that message. I have since then decided it would be best for us to go our seperate ways due to the difficulties in communication. Although I love her photography style I was very hurt by this experience and hope no other brides will go through this unecesary stress while they plan their wedding.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Amber. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to take our wedding pictures. She was positive and upbeat throughout the entire day, constantly making us laugh and hyping us up. While we wanted some spontaneous photos, we also wanted some posed - she told us exactly what to do, and the poses turned out AMAZING! A photographer once told us to "act natural" when we asked how to stand. If ask for suggestions, she will give you creative and natural looking poses - this is exactly what we wanted! Amber fit right in with our friends, families, and all the other vendors. If you are looking for a photographer who will put you at ease and make you feel confident that you will have gorgeous photos after your wedding, look no further - hire Amber - you will not regret it!

I can’t say enough good things about Amber!!! She is open, creative, enthusiastic, AND an amazing photographer! From our first interaction on the phone to finally meeting up for our engagement shoot, Amber was excited to hear about us as a couple and our vision and preferences on how we’d like to have our wedding and relationship photographer. She drove all the way out to Richmond to do our sunrise photos. She gave great direction, was funny and approachable, and was up for anything we wanted to try. The biggest compliment I can give is after we had finished taking photos, my fiancé turned to me and said Amber not only made him feel natural but that maybe he could be a professional model! 😂 Who doesn’t want to feel like that?! You must book with Amber for your wedding photography! She makes you feel at ease throughout the day, and has a wonderful artistic eye. I wanted less staged, and more spontaneous photos of our big day, and I am absolutely thrilled with our album. We met a few times prior to our wedding day, and she was prompt, responsive, and professional. She is kind and genuine and listens to your ideas and vision. You will love your pictures, and I can't wait to give them as Christmas gifts this year!

Amber at Saddleback Studio was incredible!! While we were looking for photographers, a friend recommended Amber. After viewing her photos and talking to her, we were thrilled to work with her. Throughout the planning process, she was very responsive and helpful. On the day of the wedding, she was efficient and also made it so fun. She is sweet and upbeat - she has a gift for photography and also such a knack for working with people. We loved her and so did the wedding party. When we received our photos we were blown away! The pictures were amazing and she captured so many beautiful moments. Amber has our biggest recommendation - she is the best.

Amber was an absolute delight to work with! Not only did she take some amazing photos but she was so much fun to have around. She gave us really good direction for getting the shots we always dreamed of, she knew when the best lighting would be, and she wasn’t afraid to walk around in the trees a little for those extra good angles. Even from that first email I could tell that shooting weddings is a big passion of hers. My husband wasnt as concerned with having professional photos on our big day as I was considering we were just having a small elopement with a few people but after working with a Amber and seeing how excited she was it got him super pumped up too. Even just from our first point of contact and after hearing our story, I could tell that Amber would be a good fit for our woodland elopement. I really can not recommend her enough especially if you’re having a whimsical wedding or want those extra magical, ethereal shots.

Amber was so great to work with, we only have our sneak peak photos back yet but they are so incredible I can't stop looking at them. We were nervous about photos since we don't like being the center of attention but Amber gave us the perfect amount of direction, took charge when needed, and was flexible when the weather was uncertain and we decided we needed about twice as many posed group shots as previously discussed. I can't recommend her enough!

There is not enough good things to say about Amber ( Saddleback Studio) and her service. Our first experience with Saddleback Studio was about a year ago when she did our “paparazzi “ proposal pictures in the Adirondack. She helped me plan everything and even hide in the forest for a long time at -20 F until I popped the question to capture the perfect moment! We were so pleased with her work that we asked her to be our wedding photographer in Spain!! She was always accommodating and easy to work regarding flights, hotel, and trip expenses. We even did a photoshoot the day before our wedding , we walked around the city and she captured us just as we are ! Amber knows how to make you feel comfortable and definitely has an artistic eye to take the perfect shot, never pushy , no forced poses... We can’t thank Amber enough , she not only took amazing pictures, she exceeded our expectations in every single aspect . Amber and Saddleback Studio is the right choice if you are looking for an inolvidable experience!!

Amber is a gem! I found her on instagram and immediately loved her photography style. Her photos captured natural, beautiful moments and not only is she so talented, she is also the sweetest person ever! She was great to work with during our wedding process and was also amazing the day off. During our wedding photos she knew exactly how to cue my husband and I and our large bridal party of 23 and make the photo session go timely and also not awkward as most photo shoots usually are.
