All of the employees were great about making you feel comfortable and very helpful when it came to picking out the dress and attending alteration appointments. I felt that their prices were very reasonable, and they were always very responsive and transparent!

The atmosphere is so inviting the moment you walk thru the door! They were so wonderful at helping me find my princess perfect dress (and of course veil to match)! Alterations went to smooth and we had no problems communicating about anything! They helped keep my mind on track with timelines or alterations and pickup! I would 100% recommend!

Emily and all the other ladies at AEA were absolutely amazing. Everyone is so positive and willing to help at all times. Emily had me try on her “wild card” dress and I instantly fell in love. These girls know what they’re doing!

Emily and the team at An Elegant Affair did such a wonderful job helping us pick out the perfect outfits to look and feel our best on our Wedding Day! We can't recommend them enough! I had two bridal appointments one to figure out what style I was searching for and one to narrow down and pick out the perfect one for me. The staff was so encouraging and helpful. We also selected all of our bridal parties suites from An Elegant Affair. The group could come in to get measured, or send in their measurements, all the pieces came in on time and we were able to switch out something if it didn't fit. As a bride it was so helpful to know the team at An Elegant Affair was on top of everything so I didn't have to sweat it.

Every step of the wedding dress process was seamless and enjoyable because of Jen and her team. They have a wide selection of gowns to choose from, and the appointments are client focused and pressure free. Jen really cares about her brides and wants to make sure they have a memorable experience. I also had my alterations done through AEA with Lisa. She is an alterations magician. Highly recommend AEA for all your bridal needs.

My experience at An Elegant Affair was fabulous. The first trip there I had a large group with me and they were very accommodating. I looked nowhere else and knew I had found “the one”. The selection was excellent and the staff made my experience very special.

Both me and my husband had an excellent experience with An Elegant Affair. Going in to shop for wedding dresses, I thought I wanted something very plain and simple, but none of the dresses I'd picked out were right for me. The attendant, Jen, asked me what I liked or didn't like about each dress, and she picked out one for me to try, a dress that was a bit more glitzy that I wouldn't have otherwise considered. The dress was beautiful, and perfect for my body type. It was the right dress for me, hands down. I had all alterations done through the store, and they were completed on time and accurately. My husband and his groomsmen also had a great experience getting their suits through An Elegant Affair. The staff took their measurements quickly and accurately, and on the wedding day, everyone looked very sharp. Two of my bridesmaids who live in the area got their dresses at An Elegant Affair and had a positive experience as well. I can't say enough nice things about the staff, who were consistently courteous, responsive, and knowledgeable. I'd 100% recommend them for bridal gowns, tuxes, everything wardrobe-related that goes into a wedding.

From the moment you walk in for your first appointment to the moment you walk out the door with your dress in hand, the women of An Elegant Affair are kind-hearted, patient, caring, respectful, and quickly become your best friends. When you arrive for your appointment, you & your guests can walk through the inventory and select the dresses that you’d like to try on! The bridal consultant assists you in trying on dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and tuxes! They have an in-house seamstress, Lisa, who works wonders and made my dream dress come to life. I showed Jen & Emily the dress I’d envisioned and they worked their bridal magic to make me feel like the most beautiful woman on the planet on my wedding day. The dress, the tulle wings, the belt, the alterations, my husbands tux pieces. All perfection! Their patience and calmness was appreciated beyond words. I had a wonderful experience working with the girls at AEA! They were very helpful on trying a dress that was suitable for my body type and I never felt any judgement what do ever. It was nice that the seamstress works out of the shop and she was very speedy altering my dress. I had a total of 5 alterations and it cost less than $250!

An Elegant Affair was awesome to work with in finding and altering my wedding dress. I ended up buying a sample gown when it was discontinued right after my appointment, and the team was wonderful to work with throughout. The dress required significant alterations, but ended up fitting me like a glove. They were great to work with and patient when I asked for a last minute change at my final alteration appointment.

We never had an issue with anything. The dresses kept coming until the ONE was found! Jen helped make my big day super special and I will never forget it!

I would highly recommend going to An Elegant Affair for your wedding dress! I found my dress at my first appointment there, and I think it was mostly because of Emily! She was very intentional about helping me, and I could feel it through the way she guided me through exploring my feelings, likes, and dislikes on each dress. I would have been lost without that help! Then thereafter, I needed a lot of alterations, and each time I would come in, the girls were so friendly and helpful and the seamstress did an outstanding job! I was so happy with my experience here!

They understood my wants and needs for a destination bride feel. An Elegant Affair was a one stop shop for me to find my dream wedding dress! They designed custom sleeves to add to my dress that were detachable which made for two very different looks for the ceremony and reception! We also chose them for our tux rentals and had several people from out of town and it went seamlessly! They have a lot of options for tuxes along with great advice to help you get the look/style you are going for. Everyone on staff was very helpful and made for the best experience!

I couldn’t recommend An Elegant Affair more! Beyond the amazing amazing dresses they carry, Jen and the girls made me feel like the most beautiful and special bride at every visit. Emily was an amazing consultant – I came to the salon with a particular dress in mind, and she was able to listen to what I liked most about that dress and help me pull similar styles, which included the ONE (which was not the one I had in mind coming in). Fittings and alteration appointments were always quick and I couldn’t have loved my dress and the final fit more. Everyone at AEA is professional, friendly, helpful and excited for brides and they’ve created such a happy and warm environment!

I had the BEST experience at An Elegant Affair! Liz (and the rest of the team) were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole process. I hadn't really gone dress shopping before, but they were so patient while I tried on a bunch of different styles before finding my perfect dress. I didn't feel rushed to make a decision and went back multiple times before making a final decision. I was specifically looking for a Made With Love dress and they are the only store in Iowa that carries that brand! They truly had the best selection of dresses I had seen in this area. An Elegant Affair was the first and last place I went to look for my perfect dress. Although no one dreams of trying on their wedding dress with a mask on, it was nice how safe and helpful they were when trying on dresses. I would highly recommend An Elegant Affair for your wedding gown! I had looked at 3 difference places around the Wisconsin and Iowa area. Right before I went to An Elegant Affair I was in the middle of a trying, and was having no luck at all. My sister called An Elegant Affair and said if I was able to come within 15 minutes they would help me out. Once I got there, without an appointment, let me remind you, they treated me so kindly and helped me find my gown, no questions asked. They are super patient and willing to put your needs and wants before just selling you a dress. Highly recommend.

I went to a couple of other shops before coming to An Elegant Affair and NONE of them come close or even compare to the extraordinary service I got there! As soon as I walked in I felt very comfortable and welcome in the shop; all the dresses are laid out for you to examine on your own where some salons take your ideas and style and pull dresses for you. I did not feel rushed or pushed to buy higher or more items! I found my dream dress at An Elegant Affair and I found some other top contenders so there are a ton of great choices! All their staff is friendly and nice and they were very helpful and accommodating with me being an out of state customer when it came to appointments. You also cannot beat their prices for alterations and preservation! Cannot recommend this shop enough!!

An Elegant Affair has the best service to offer! One thing that stood out to me right away was that I was always welcomed into the store by my name. I bought my dress, veil, alterations, and rented my groomsman attire from them. They are 100% dedicated to what they do and making your job as a bride so much easier! When making the final alterations a few buttons broke off of my dress and they made sure all the buttons were replaced and secure! I also had a fiance that didn't do much planning for the wedding so when he failed to respond back to their phone calls about the groomsman attire, they would contact me. They are the reason the groomsman had their attire on our wedding day! I would highly recommend An Elegant Affair for ALL of your bridal needs!

I had no idea what I wanted, and they were so patient and flexible with me. I love the dress that I purchased and thank you so much for helping me to fit it into my budget! I would suggest finding a different seamstress. She did a great job, but she changed her prices on me twice. It went from $100, to $150, to $200. She did a great job, but that was too pricey. Elegant Affair did knock the price down to $160 for me, but I felt a little duped.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from An Elegant Affair and they looked stunning on the girls. The dresses arrived after 1 1/2-2 months of ordering them. They were very reasonably priced, and the employees were easy to work with. I did not order my wedding dress from here, as I found one at a different store that was the one for me (don't get me wrong, An Elegant Affair has many dresses to choose from and they are gorgeous!). After running into many difficulties with the other store, I am now referring ALL brides to An Elegant Affair for their bridal needs. The same store that I ordered my dress from told me 3 weeks after supposedly "ordering my veil" that they no longer could get it. I was now in a big time crunch to order a veil as my wedding was quickly approaching. I went to An Elegant Affair Bridal to see if they could help me out and Jen, the owner, assured me that I would have a veil for my wedding and that she would help me out. In fact, she had an extra veil in stock and it ended up being perfect for me! Like stated above, I will be referring all brides to An Elegant Affair Bridal in Cedar Falls!
