Kayla did a fantastic job as my hair stylist on my wedding day! I felt so beautiful. She really listened to my feedback during my hair trial. My hair held up well with some minor pieces that fell out which required some extra Bobby pins to be placed (as expected) right before the ceremony. Overall, great experience. Kayla is so sweet and her and Jeanette were both timely with completing everyone’s hair in my bridal party!

Patty and Valerie were wonderful to work with! Patty did my hair and makeup, and she was so kind and helpful. I didn't have a clear idea at the beginning as to what I wanted, but Patty listened to my thoughts and ended up giving me exactly what I wanted! My hair and makeup lasted all night and looked amazing in photos :)

Had an amazing experience with Anomalie Beauty. They were easy to work with and very responsive and helpful in answering all questions. Kayla and Selina did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup, I absolutely loved it. We also had Daniela and Car helping out, all of my bridesmaids raved about their hair and makeup. We even ran ahead of schedule! Overall the entire process was super smooth.

Patty and Katie were awesome! Patty did my bridal makeup and hair and hair for the rest of my bridal party. During my trial she was super receptive to adjustments I wanted to make and even made some of them on the spot so I could see. She remembered my adjustments for my wedding day and was even able to change course on the day as there were more things I wanted to do differently. I looked incredibly beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Patty. I was worried about how everything would hold, especially the makeup but I had no issues. I cried a ton and my makeup still looked almost perfect at the end of the night - in fact, I slept with my lashes on and they still didn't budge! I also paid extra for a second artist to help the day go faster - highly recommend doing so! Katie joined us to do makeup for my bridal party and she did an excellent job. Everyone looked very beautiful. I was a little worried because my family is picky with hair and makeup but they were very happy and had no complaints! One last thing - as a person of color I was worried about finding an artist who could work well on someone with my complexion and they did an excellent job. When I was booking, I expressed this concern and they even sent me photos of people with a similar complexion who they had worked with to put me at ease!

Amanda and Patty were amazing!! I had them for both my engagement pictures as well as rehearsal dinner/ wedding day and I loved how I looked in all of them. I have some skin sensitivities and have to use different products some times and both were so accommodating and made sure I still got the look I wanted. Overall really good to work with whenever my planner or I had questions, would totally recommend overall!

I had the absolute dream team for my wedding! Katie A (makeup), Jeanette (hair), Jen (makeup), and Jojo (hair) were all incredible—talented, kind, and so fun to be around. My bridesmaids and mom looked stunning and felt so confident, which meant the world to me. I also worked with Jeanette and Katie M for my bridal shower and rehearsal—Jeanette styled my hair and Katie M did my makeup, and they crushed it. I had a fantastic experience with Anomalie Beauty for my April wedding! Colette was super communicative, so everything—from pricing to the schedule—was clear and stress-free. Amanda did my spray tan and gave me the perfect, glowing look. On the big day, Patty, Lindsay, and Selina provided hair and makeup for 9 of us, and everyone looked flawless. I booked a lot of amazing vendors for my wedding, but Anomalie was truly one of the best! Even before officially booking, Dani and Colette went above and beyond—answering all of my questions with so much patience, grace, and attention to detail. Throughout my entire engagement, their communication was top-notch, and they always made me feel supported and cared for. Once I got my trials done, I knew I was in the best hands. Selina (makeup) and Jeanette (hair) were an absolute dream team. Anomalie was so wonderful to work with in preparation for my wedding. The team is EXTREMELY responsive (seriously we have the longest email thread- I had a million questions and they were so attentive, patient, and kind!!) I wanted to make sure I still felt and looked like “myself” on my wedding day and Anomalie NAILED it. I was very happy to do the makeup and hair trials with the girls who were doing my day of wedding hair and makeup- it helped so much in knowing how we would do things for the wedding! It was also so fun because seriously all of these girls are SO nice and friendly. My bridesmaids absolutely loved their hair and makeup on wedding day and each hair and makeup artist perfectly achieved each requested look! They are so talented!!! And I was, of course, SO happy with my wedding day hair and makeup- Selina and Jeanette made sure of it, even if that meant taking more time and being slightly late in schedule (oops! No regrets!!!) I am so happy I chose Anomalie Beauty Agency for my wedding. Don’t think twice and book them!!!! You won’t regret it.

I had a generally positive experience working with Anomalie Beauty, though there were some notable frustrations, particularly regarding their fees. For example, when we requested a 6:45 AM start time instead of 7:00 AM, we were told there would be a $105 fee for just a 15-minute difference. While I’m usually understanding of additional costs, this fee felt unreasonable. On the plus side, the artists were lovely to work with, and the quality of the work was generally good. However, I did notice some variation in skill and ability to execute the vision depending on which artist was assigned to us. Given that Anomalie hires a range of artists, this isn’t entirely surprising, but it’s something to keep in mind when booking. In summary, my experience wasn’t the worst, but I feel that the same quality could likely have been achieved without all the additional, hidden fees. While Anomalie offers good service, the inconsistency in pricing and talent might make it less appealing for those seeking more transparency or uniformity.

Anomalie Beauty Agency was fantastic to work with! Jennifer, Jeanette, Jojo and Katie made my bridesmaids, moms, and I feel beautiful and confident all day long. Each artist was friendly and got along with our big bubbly group - making the morning-of a lot of fun and stress-free! They were all very timely, knowledgeable and passionate, and closely followed the direction/inspo pictures provided by each girl to feel their best. The planning process went smoothly as well, as they were very responsive and accommodating. I absolutely recommend for your wedding!

I worked with Anomalie for my Oct 2024 wedding and I HIGHLY recommend! I loved my glam and my girls also looked incredible and so natural! Dani is great to work with and everything was so organized and easy to keep track of. Top notch customer service constantly checking in and keeping me updated. I worked with Selina, Jeanette, Lindsay, and Katie A for my day and they are all amazing artists... and we had so much fun with them while we were getting ready watching reality TV and hanging out.

I cannot recommend Anomalie Beauty Agency enough! From the very beginning, their customer service was outstanding—they were quick to respond to my inquiries and always provided helpful guidance. On my wedding day, I had the pleasure of working with Jen, Kayla, and Michelle, and they were all so much fun to be around. We had a total of eight women getting ready in my apartment with a 7 AM start, and the Anomalie team was right on time and incredibly efficient. We finished almost an hour ahead of schedule, which was amazing! Despite how quickly they worked, none of us ever felt rushed. They took great care of everyone, and my moms and bridal party all looked absolutely stunning. Everyone was so happy with their looks! A special shout-out to my hair and makeup duo, Kayla and Jen. Kayla was so kind and thoughtful, always checking in to make sure I was happy with the look and making me feel beautiful and confident. Jen was simply amazing—I was a bit nervous about makeup, but she encouraged me to provide feedback after my trials, and on the wedding day, she was so patient and made sure I loved my final look. Anomalie beauty agency was truly amazing. They executed everything I asked for and even more. I had 12 bridesmaids plus my mom and mother in law, so 27 services total, and the girls not only completed all the services on time but did a beautiful job. Every girl was obsessed with their hair and makeup. What was wild is each girl had a different makeup inspo (full glam, soft glam, natural, etc.) and the girls did exactly what they asked for. The hair was unreal. I did a high pony for rehearsal dinner and I can’t even say how many complements I received. My hair and makeup for day of wedding was truly perfect (I am also SOOO picky with what I like and they did it perfectly). Colette is truly amazing to work with, makes the process so easy. The girls double and triple check the dates you need, the services, when to arrive, etc. Do yourself a favor and hire this agency for your wedding. You will not have to stress at all and all the girls will look amazing. Thank you guys so much.

I can't recommend the team at Anomalie enough. Jeanette and Katie did my hair, my mother in law's hair, and all nine of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and everyone's hair lasted all night! Jeanette also worked with my clip in extensions and they looked flawless! Prior to the big day, the team at Anomalie were responsive to all my questions and regularly checked in to make sure I didn't need anything! I'm so glad I chose to work with them!

This is BY FAR the best makeup company to do your wedding makeup. All of my bridesmaids LOVED their makeup and my trial was wonderful! The day off was good but, because of timing, felt a little rushed. Overall, great experience from a professional and well-trained team.

Picking a hair and makeup team for your wedding is a stressful process, there's so many options to go with, but I am so happy I went with Anomalie Beauty. They were so easy to communicate with throughout the whole process, and all the artists I worked with were amazing and talented. I had scheduled my hair and makeup trial for the morning of my birdal shower and got a call the night before that my hair stylist had fallen sick but knowing it was my bridal shower they still send someone to do my hair and I was able to reschedule my bridal hair trial for a later time. I am sharing this in the most positive light possible, that when you go with a team the size of anomalie, you will have reassurance that no matter what the job will be done and done well. They truly care about their clients. I have no regrets going with them for my wedding and me and all my bridesmaids as well as my mom and mother-in-law all looked beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Working with the Anomalie team was nothing short of incredible. They were very communicative and made scheduling the trials and day of services so easy. The trial is even at your house, maximizing convenience. Patty and Jennifer did the hair and makeup for the wedding and we could not have been happier with their work. Anomalie Beauty was amazing to work with right from our first phone call! I had a large wedding party, so needed to book 2 artists, and Dani was so helpful getting it all set up. She made sure to ask me what my personal makeup style was, to ensure they could provide me with what I wanted. My makeup artist Amanda drove from the city to the suburbs of Chicago for my trial and was AMAZING! We clicked immediately and she truly delivered on my vision for how I wanted to look on my wedding day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, the Anomalie team sent me the getting ready schedule, with a 5:30 AM start time (keep in mind, 12 girls total were getting full makeup done). Both Amanda and NiNi arrived early to the hotel to start getting set up, and we started promptly on time. They both did AMAZING on everyone's makeup, and the girls looked gorgeous. The makeup lasted all night, and photographed beautifully. I could not recommend Anomalie more - they made this portion of wedding planning so easy! Plus made me feel so beautiful on my big day!

Anomalie ultimately did a nice job on making myself and all of the ladies in the wedding look beautiful, but there were significant bumps in the road during the planning process that made them a less-than-desirable vendor. During the booking process, I explained to Dani, the representative who I worked with to generate a proposal, the amount of bridesmaids I had, and the timeline for the wedding day. Months later, when I was having my first makeup trial with my makeup artist Jen she said "woah it looks like your start time for the day is 4 AM." I was completely shocked. No one explained to me during the consultation that I would need a second makeup artist for me, two mothers, and four bridesmaids for a wedding that started at 1PM. I immediately contacted Anomalie saying that there must be some mistake and was told that the 4AM start time was correct and that in order to avoid that I had to add a second artist, which would be be over $300. Although I ultimately paid for the second artist, it would have been far more professional to have the representative explain the timeline to me during the consultation so that my fiancé and I did not have to be surprised by an additional several hundred dollar expense that they had not factored into their wedding budget after we had already booked this vendor. At that point, we knew we would lose more money by walking away from this vendor than by simply adding the second artist. When I raised this with Anomalie, they said that the fees were in their contract. But the issue was not with their contract. It was with the fact that this was not discussed with the customer. I had my first makeup trial in November and unfortunately Jen did not meet the mark with what I was asking for. She used orange tones all over my face, which was not complimentary and did not match the bridal nude and pink tones I was looking for. As a result, I squeezed in another trial on the Sunday before my wedding on the following Saturday several months later. Jen was over 15 minutes late for the second trial. During the second trial, I walked her step by step through each and every color and product until we ultimately got it right, but unfortunately having that second trial cost me again. On the day of the wedding, our second artist Shante showed up on time and did beautiful makeup for many of my bridesmaids and mother-in-law. Unfortunately, Jen was several minutes late again. I only realized when one of my bridesmaids looked at the schedule Anomalie put together and said, "My makeup is supposed to start in 3 minutes, but Jen isn't here." When she eventually arrived she made up the time, but it was an unnecessary stressor that was completely avoidable. Ultimately, I wished that I squeezed myself in to be seen by Shante the morning of the wedding. The makeup that she did for the other women in the wedding was beautiful and unfortunately Jen's did not measure up. I also want to note that my sister planned her wedding at the same time as me and also hired Anomalie for both hair and makeup services. After seeing the beautiful look that her artist, Selina, created I reached out and asked if that artist was available for my wedding. They told me that she wasn't and said, "You will love working with Jen, she is great." Unfortunately, that did not end up being the case. In the end the makeup looked like it was professionally done, but the level of customer service was certainly below what I received from other wedding vendors.

I had Michelle for my wedding trial and wedding day hair. She was prompt, communicative, and during my trial she had me watch along the way to let her know exactly what I liked or wanted to change to get the exact finished look I was hoping for. On the day of my wedding it was no stress as it was the same! She was the best and so willing to adjust if anything needed tweaking, although it really didn’t! Overall my experience with the company was great - timeline was communicated clearly and payment process was easy!

I truly had the absolute best experience working with Anomalie Beauty for my wedding this past weekend. Dani and Colette were so helpful throughout the entire process and were always quick to answer my (many!) questions. I knew after my bridal trial that I was in great hands with Kayla (hair) and Amanda (makeup). I also ended up scheduling Amanda to do my makeup for my rehearsal dinner, and I loved the look she gave me! On the wedding day, Kayla and Amanda were professional and also so fun to get ready with. The entire bridal party looked so stunning. I would 100% use their services again in the future!

Anomalie Beauty was very communicative throughout my wedding planning process always prompt with answering all of my questions. The artists did arrive around 15 minutes late and therefore started around 15 minutes late which obviously caused me some stress throughout the morning. But overall everyone's hair and makeup turned out great

I really appreciated the responsiveness and professionalism from all members of the Anomalie team from day one! I received so many compliments on my hair by Jeanette and makeup by Jen and was so happy with how both held up throughout the long day. I also had 14 bridesmaids doing hair and makeup and the four artists were all so kind and efficient and got us done ahead of schedule. The way scheduling worked out, I wasn't able to make use of the touch up hours I already paid for in my package so I wish I would've thought this through better ahead of booking or had more flexibility with that portion of the package but that is just something I mention so other brides don't make the same mistake when finalizing their timeline. Overall, I would recommend as the artists are so talented and the convenience of having them come to you is amazing!
