e scheduled a date a time to meet for a tasting and to discuss details. She had to cancel our appointments 4 times over a two month period of time! I understand things come up, so that’s why I kept rescheduling. The last time she canceled she did it the night before we were meeting and said her doctor told her she couldn’t do anymore cheesecakes because of her shoulder. I was crushed because here I am 3 months before my wedding with no one to do my cake. I almost wondered if she knew all this time she wasn’t going to do the cake and that’s why it took 2 months to get together. I am writing this review so other brides aren’t stuck in the same panicked situation of calling multiple places last minute and being told your wedding date isn’t available to make a cake. Unless someone else takes over this business who is trustworthy I would not order from her because I honestly don’t know if you would have a cake the day of your wedding!

for ombré coloring and I even sent a picture of the style I was picturing and there was no ombré in our cake. Each layer was just one color. I didn’t see the cake when they first delivered and at the reception I immediately noticed that it wasn’t what I wanted. She said she could do what I wanted without buttercream and I loved the frosting I tasted but the frosting on my wedding cake was whipped and would hold our wedding topper on the cake. I was so disappointed with everything except the cake! I even went back and checked our order and it said ombré on all order info. I was so disappointed with the final result! My wedding day wasn’t perfect but this just added to the other problems. With the amount we paid the taste was good but the design was not what we wanted I wouldn’t use this baker again for anything even though I loved the taste. I was so disappointed that the baker I loved didn’t make a cake that I wanted.

icing got stuck to the box. Thank goodness my florist was able to disguise most of the obvious flaws. We had to place the photographers strategically so they would not get the back half of the cake (which was missing huge areas of icing) in any photos, and actually had to move our cake table from its original location to a corner so our guests wouldn't see the back of the cake. When confronted about the subpar product, the owner took no responsibility and blamed others for her mistakes. She was incredibly unprofessional and, at some points, downright nasty. At the end of the day I was very embarrassed to show my guests my cake.

We couldn't afford to feed our entire reception with the actual wedding cake, but it was suggested that we use a kitchen cake to fill in where we needed, and it was absolutely amazing. It can be a little hard to set up appointment times, but overall we didn't have any trouble at all, and I even ordered a rehearsal dinner cake as a surprise for my fiance, shaped like his favorite video game character. When we found out that the new owners' cake we frantically called the few places in the area that can do cheesecake wedding cakes. Somehow, Artrageous was able to squeeze us in at such short notice. We have been to several weddings in Cincinnati, and she certainly has some of the best cake in the city. At least do a tasting, she also has a wide range of flavors to chose from, which is nice to have more variety than some of the other places.
