I give Ted a 10 out of 10. He’s easy to work with, is an expert at his job and I can’t think of a thing I wish that he’d done differently. It was a great night, I loved everything about it!

When I originally contacted Ted, i explained that I didn’t want a DJ to do anything other than play music and make announcements. He said that that would be no problem at all. He only played music and played announcements but he still packed the dance floor! I’m so glad I hired him, he kept the evening flowing and played the perfect music mix. I highly recommend Ted to anyone!

Ted did such a great job! He was polite, funny, personable and kept the dance floor packed all night long. I would absolutely hire him again!

We hired Ted as our DJ and we loved him. He has so much experience in the business and he kept the reception flowing perfectly. He played most of the song requests we gave him and had our guests on the dance floor all night. I would have given 5 stars, but he did forget to play our bridal party’s entrance song to the reception which gave for a very awkward entrance. But overall, we had a good experience with Ted.

Ted is such a professional! From the first time I spoke to him, you can tell he’s done this many times and he knows exactly what to do. We hired him to do our ceremony, cocktail and reception music in three different places in the venue and he did everything perfectly. I can’t imagine how it could have gone any better. Thanks Ted!

Ted was my DJ and he was amazing! The reason I hired him was, he was the third DJ I spoke with, I told all three DJs what I had in mind. The first two debated with me and suggested changes to what I wanted and one DJ even said he refused to play a particular song because in his experience it didn’t do well. Ted said, “I will do whatever you want.” So I hired him and at my reception, he did exactly that, everything I wanted! He was so helpful and easy to work with and he kept the dance floor packed. I loved so many things about my wedding day but for my vendors, Ted was the best decision I made!

I am the youngest of three children, Ted did my oldest sister's wedding in 2011, my middle brother's wedding in 2013 and I had such a good time at both weddings that when I got engaged, I checked with Ted to see what dates he was available before I booked my venue. Ted did not disappoint! He kept the dance floor full from the very first song. He's funny and easy to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend him and I wish I had another sibling getting married!

Ted Crowder was my DJ and I have to say, he exceeded my wildest expectations. Before the wedding date, he responded to every question I had within a few minutes. Once he even said he was in the grocery store and would send me what I asked for in 15 minutes when he got back home. At the wedding reception, he would spot things and correct them without a word. For example, someone set an empty drink glass on our sweetheart table and Ted came out from behind his table and removed it immediately. There were several things like that. Then when it was time to dance, he did a little trick to get everyone on the dance floor for the first song and he kept the dance floor packed all night. I just can’t say enough good things about him!

Ted was great to work with! He always responded to emails quickly and was a great DJ. He has a huge music selection and played a wide variety of songs that kept all of our family and friends dancing all evening long. He made our reception so much fun!!

Ted was a great guy-- I might just have different expectations for my DJ than most people. I wanted specific songs played at my wedding and sent Ted a list with about 2 weeks in advance to download them and asked him to stick to the songs I picked. I would say 85% of the songs I picked were played with some deviation. While normally, I wouldn't mind, the songs I chose were personal to me and the guests-- each representing a memory or someone in attendance. That's why I would've preferred he had stuck to the wishlist. I also requested quite a few Russian songs to represent my culture/family. Before playing a Russian song, Ted announced "this is a Russian song"... That was odd and unnecessary. I also sent Ted a timeline of how the evening would go, asking him to announce to the guests to gather around us while we danced our first dance and then immediately go into the "dancefloor is open hype music". Ted neglected to do that so the transition from first dance to everyone-on-the-dance-floor was a bit awkward. As an event planner by profession, I may have higher expectations for vendors especially since I plan everyone else's event and this was my personal one. I just wish he had respected/understood my wishes or asked me in advance if he was confused about anything. Otherwise, great dude. He was kind to everyone and understood Jewish weddings.

This will be the easiest review I have ever written. Ted is hands down the best DJ! He is beyond easy to work with and will give you so many suggestions to help make your event (in my case my wedding) the best it could possibly be. He was engaged with my guests, helped guide the wedding activities (toasts, dances, cake, calling tables for dinner etc.) got everyone dancing, and even allowed my friends to make song requests! Ted also went out of his way to talk with the guitarist I had play my ceremony, to make sure he had all the tools he needed, and worked with my officiant to ensure he was mic'd up so my guests could hear! I couldn't have had a more diligent, thoughtful, and fun DJ!! My friends and family are STILL talking about the music, which to me is a HUGE win in my book. If you are looking for a great DJ, do yourself a favor and hire Ted! :-)

He did a good job. Was shy, but kept our music into consideration. Kept us on our budget.

Nick made our reception come to life. What a task to get children, teens, adults, and elders on the floor at once!!! Dancing lasted until we departed. Highly recommend!!

Ted Crowder was the DJ for our wedding, and we loved him! He was very professional, took our song selection list into consideration, mixed in great songs with it, and kept everyone dancing and having a good time! He was easy to communicate with and really was a pleasure to have as our DJ. I highly recommend him!

I had heard from a friend about Atlanta Bands and DJs and emailed them right away. I promptly heard back from Ted, who answered all my questions and corresponded with my through email for months leading up to my wedding. He sent a list of songs and assured me they could get any song that I wanted. I met Ted the day of the wedding and he was incredible. He announced everyone's name (with only one small error) and led my groom and I in with a bang! He kept everyone up on the dance floor and played a great variety of music. I had suggested about 20 songs myself and he chose the rest. He was the one to tell me when it was time to throw the bouquet and walked me through the process. He had all the women at one point stand around my husband and do a group dance which was very funny! He then had all the men get down on one knee and sing to me. Very very sweet!! Ted was on time, ready with all our songs and was polite, well dressed and stayed until we were ready to go.We would recommend his company no doubt to our family and friends. Thanks Ted!!

Ted did a great job on our wedding. He really helped us personalized many things and honor many of our guests. He had the dance floor filled all night, and everyone raved about what a great time they had dancing away the night! He was even able to accommodate some family traditions that honored the heritage of our families! He did a really great job!

Ted was awesome to work with. He was timely and responsive during the planning process. He played what we wanted during out reception and he was not cheesy at all! He was perfect and made our wedding reception wonderful and fun! Thanks Ted!

Ted Crowder was the perfect DJ for our small (50-person) wedding. He not only cued the ceremony music perfectly but also emceed the reception with class and flair. During the planning process, he kept everything organized and was very easy to work with, always responding to my calls or emails promptly. At the reception, Ted made sure everyone got out on the dance floor, and was flexible and courteous when we wanted to move certain songs and events up as our older guests started to get fatigued and wanting to call it a night. Several guests commented what a great job he did of mixing together different styles of music and keeping the energy up in the room. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any bride looking for a professional, polished director of ceremony and/or reception music.

Nick was our DJ for our wedding reception. My husband is very picky about music (he is Cuban)and he wanted to make sure that we had someone who was in style, up to date, and knew what they were doing. Nick worked with us on what WE wanted! He did everything that we had asked of him and he just knew exactly what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor! It has been a month after my wedding and everyone is still telling me what a great time they had! Nick was very professional, on time, and made sure everything (The toast, cake cutting, champagne toast, ect.) was ready to go and he also made sure that my photographer was there and ready for the next event! He worked with me on my time schedule to make sure everything ran smoothly and we could not have asked for anything more! I highly recommend them to any bride of any style!! They really work with you and give you what you want!!

I was at a loss for finding a DJ that wasn't any of those cliche guys when I connected with Ted Crowder of Atlanta Bands and DJs at one of those awful wedding shows. I did not expect to gain anything from attending the show, but when I met Ted, his professionalism stood out from all of the other in-your-face vendors at the event. Our initial meeting was very professional and fun and my husband and I were sure we found the right guy for the job. At our reception, Ted created a perfect ambiance for our cocktail hour and seated dinner. All of our first dances were perfectly timed, and despite some sounds system feedback during our honor attendant speeches, everything was right on cue. When it was time to get people up and dancing, Ted knew all the right tracks to play; he managed to play everything we had requested in advance and was EVEN able to download on the spot or stream from YouTube last minute requests that he didn't have. Bravo, Ted!

Ted is a great DJ & knows how to get everyone on the dance floor. They have some fun "tricks" to do. He was having fun the whole time & it rubs off!
