We sealed the deal after having a live conversation with her and sensing her genuine care and passion for this craft. She asked such great questions and helped us flesh out our ideas. We were absolutely blown away by how she prepared us for our wedding day: sample photography timelines, helpful questionnaires, check-ins to ensure we were on the same page—and none of it overwhelming or invasive. When we needed to change course, she adapted immediately and knew exactly how to help us. The day-of, she communicated super well, showed up early, captured EVERY gorgeous detail of our ceremony and attire, made our guests feel confident and at ease, and created an environment that felt legitimately fun and alive. I never felt like the camera led the way. Bailey found a way to "disappear" and let our intimacy, tears, happiness, and love take center stage. When it was time for her to coach us through couple's and family portraits, her guidance was never contrived. We always felt present and like us. Despite how effortless Bailey made everything look, she captured everything and at a quality I've never seen in previous photoshoots. Her "sneak peek" gallery included over 200 photos that were ALL incredible. Every. Single. Photo. I really can't recommend Bailey enough! She's truly an artist and also an authentic, kind, wonderful human.

Words can't even describe how much of a gem Bailey is. She is really fun to be around and makes people feel at ease, while also being incredibly professional and meticulous in her work. She did my engagement shoot, entire wedding, a family photoshoot with my dog, and even my professional headshots- I've hired her several times over the past 5 years, and will keep hiring her! My husband and I typically feel so awkward posing for photos, but with Bailey that totally changes- she has gotten the most natural smiles and laughs and cute poses out of us. I was so nervous that I wouldn't like how I looked in my wedding photos, and when I got them all of that concern evaporated, and I was just beyond thrilled. We were drawn to the way Bailey captured love within nature. She masterfully balanced capturing shared moments of joy and tenderness while also highlighting the beauty of a natural landscape. We have been dreaming of getting married in the Berkshires nestled in the fields and rolling hills, and we knew Bailey would be able to capture the way our relationship blooms on that landscape. We saw in her photos the way she made her subjects feel comfortable and relaxed. Since we are more reserved in front of the camera and are not used to posing, we wanted someone to help us bring out our relaxed and unstaged selves. This was absolutely true when we got our photos back and then some. The photos themselves are magical. The lighting, the emotion. The landscape, and the pure honest emotion everyone is feeling. It takes a special kind of person to lead with kindness. Bailey was direct with her communication so that people knew where they needed to be in the scramble of the wedding. Bailey also communicated with a smile and warmth so that while people were moving around in the chaos of the day they were still able to feel their joy. Bailey came extremely prepared. We wrote up pages and pages of details on the complicated and often simultaneously happening rituals, and from our calls it was clear Bailey had read and learned all of what we had laid out so that she knew what was meaningful to us and was aware of the logistics of capturing the special moments. Bailey constantly asked for feedback throughout the day, and made sure we got the shots we had talked about before. She even trekked with us through a meadow before the wedding started! Bailey was keenly aware of everyone’s emotions throughout the day. This was seen in how kindly and empathetically she interacted with us and other vendors, and her knack for capturing special emotional moments on camera. When I was feeling stressed or lost she somehow checked in at the exact right moments. Bailey offered to hold my phone, and worked well and respectfully with the videographer. Bailey also picked out beautiful places for the first look and for family photos. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, when things got stressful, we would look at each other and say “It's okay because we have Bailey!!!” We truly feel so lucky. Throughout the whole day (rain, humidity, and a tiny bit of shine) Bailey had a smile on her face, which was a continual reminder for us of how much fun we were also having. We cannot recommend Bailey enough!!

We loved everything about working with Bailey! One of the best parts was her attention to detail and commitment to capturing the moments and people we wanted to highlight. From the very beginning, she wanted to know about us, our style, and what was most important to us; she didn't force us to do anything we didn't want to. We really appreciated that she checked in throughout our wedding day, updating us on the shots list we'd put together beforehand (which ones were done or not), sharing new ideas about possible things to capture, and keeping us on schedule. Every photo Bailey captured was truly beautiful and special. Our favorites include our couple's portraits, the candid photos of our loved ones, and the way she highlighted our venue (which was our home and backyard). We feel that Bailey really captured the immense love and support we had that day. Also, neither of us really love attention so we could have been awkward in our couple's portraits, but Bailey made us feel so comfortable and captured us and our love so well. We also appreciated Bailey's strong support for queers couples and the respect she always showed us. Bailey was so much fun to work with and took all the stress and worry out of the entire process!

Bailey was the most professional, reliable, and warm vendor we worked with. She sent us to the botanical gardens to take a break from wedding planning. She brought her own chair as a prop for photos. She even climbed up on a ladder in the middle of the street to capture a group shot of all our guests! She went above and beyond more than once, and then there were the actual photos. They were beautifully shot. Magical detail shots of my dress in the sunlight. Painterly shots of us walking through the woods. And heartwarming candids of us beaming with our friends and family. Needless to say, we highly recommend Bailey. We love our photos and will always remember how helpful, kind, and skilled she was throughout the entire process.

Bailey is a great blend of professional and friendly, and an awesome photographer. She is a quick communicator and was very instrumental in helping us think about how we wanted to structure our microwedding. We appreciated that she did some location scouting beforehand, too! I highly recommend Bailey. Her photos are beautiful - ethereal and real at the same time, which is exactly what I hoped for and wasn't sure I could find. One of our friends in the wedding party is a professional photographer, and even (indeed, especially) they were really impressed by Bailey. After having done quite a lot of research on wedding photographers I'm confident in saying that her prices are an amazing deal for the quality you get. Plus, she's willing to talk to you openly about budget and what's possible in a given budget. And she's just a really nice, fun person. All of the candids and cocktail hour photos really let me see the day from a different perspective, and it was so fun to see what other people were up to at our wedding! Booking Bailey as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process! We had such a great experience working with Bailey - from booking her, having our engagement photo session in Connecticut, postponing our wedding due to COVID, and ultimately celebrating our big day this past August in Vermont. I wish there was a 10 star rating. Bailey exceeded my wedding photo expectations. She has a gift of capturing candid, intimate and fun moments of us and our wedding guests. I’m so thrilled with the selection of photos that I’m having a hard time narrowing it down to my favorite 100 to build an album. Aside from her talent, her calming nature and organization made me feel like I was her only client. After two cancelled wedding dates due to covid, I found myself prioritizing dates that worked for Bailey so she could capture our day for us. She is simply the best.

Working with Bailey was even better than I could have imagined. My husband(!!) and I are both on the camera-shy side - we usually hate photos of ourselves/having our photos taken, but Bailey made us completely comfortable and somehow delivered an unbelievable album of photos we love! She was very responsive and patient with all of our questions leading up to the event, and I was blown away by her attention to detail from our very first conversation - the questions she asked about us as a couple, and then later, about the logistics, family dynamics, particular shots, etc. for the actual day. I am also so appreciative of the time she took to scope out the neighborhood we were going to be in prior to the shoot, and the suggestions she made for beautiful side streets and the gorgeous Brooklyn Promenade (which we had completely not realized was nearby). When we arrived at our dinner after our ceremony & couples portraits, it sort of felt weird that she wasn't staying to eat with us, since it felt like she'd become part of the family! Bailey photographed our elopement this fall, and I love the photos so much that I hope to work with her again in the future, for other big family celebrations. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the process: responsive, professional, patient, and kind. Her day-of presence was calm and encouraging. I typically hate posing for photographs, but Bailey made it comfortable, and even fun. She guided us when we needed some guidance, but also stepped back and really let us enjoy our moment, and I think that comes through in the photographs: we ended up with some classic portraits, and some natural pictures where we're just taking in the moment, and enjoying each others company. We were hoping for a few good photos to capture the day, and we ended up with a collection of treasures.

Bailey is amazing! We spent a lot of time searching for a wedding photographer that didn't have super staged photos and could capture those candid moments of joy. We were pleasantly surprised when we came across Bailey's portfolio and reached out right away, with our fingers crossed she was available for our day. From our very first conversation, we both knew that Bailey would be our choice. She is super friendly and took the time to get to know us as a couple and it was as if we were having a conversation with a friend. We were SO excited to choose her as our photographer! Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule our larger wedding but still decided to have a small ceremony so we could be legally married. Bailey was super flexible and didn't charge us any additional fees to rebook her for our new date next year. We also decided to have a small ceremony and get legally married this year and were so grateful that Bailey was available. Neither of us really like having our photos taken, but Bailey was super cool to work with and made both of us feel at ease and helped guide us to take the best photos. She also sent us back the photos within 2 weeks and they were beautiful! We are so lucky to have found Bailey :)

I don’t usually write reviews, and it’s taken me a while to get to this, but here it is. Bailey was one of the best decisions we made in terms of our wedding vendors. We had an engagement shoot with her in October of 2019 and it was an amazing experience. She is very enthusiastic and her enthusiasm is infectious, she made us feel relaxed in front of the camera and the photos were phenomenal. They looked authentic, beautiful, creative and not overly posed. When we had to postpone our wedding until 2021 due to covid, Bailey was very accommodating and kept her contract with the new date. When we decided to get officially married in a small ceremony in my now husband’s parents backyard in PA, we insisted on getting Bailey to come down, and lucky for us, she agreed to, even though it was a 5 hour drive for her. She practiced social distancing and mask wearing and still managed to keep a cheery demeanor and capture phenomenal photos. If you’re looking for a photographer, look no further, seriously, Bailey is your girl! 😊

Bailey photographed our engagement session and recently our minimony/dinner downsized pandemic wedding. Our engagement photos are breathtaking and we know without a doubt that our wedding photos will be too. Bailey was an absolutely essential part of our wedding team. Working with Bailey was the best decision we made for our wedding - hands down. Before starting the planning process we knew we wanted to focus on three things: music, food, and photography. It's so important to trust the vendors you choose, and we knew after our first meeting (we met her for a drink and she was prepared with a whole laptop full of great wedding/engagement/other photos from her portfolio) that she would be an awesome addition to our wedding team. During our engagement shoot, Bailey made us feel so comfortable. It can be a bit weird getting your picture taken in the middle of a street, hotel, etc., but Bailey's positive attitude and fun energy made us feel at-ease and totally normal. We had such a great time! Leading up to our wedding Bailey answered all of our questions, checked-in on our progress, offered any vendor recommendations, and scheduled calls to go over the event timeline and all the photos we were looking for her to capture. She made us feel comfortable and confident in her abilities the whole way through. Our wedding was in MA in late October--and it POURED. It actually rained so much all day that we couldn’t even go outside to take one photo. The minute Bailey showed up to the venue she had a plan. She had already done her research of all the possible indoor locations to shoot, and she got really creative! At one point, she ventured out into the pouring rain herself and shot us while we stood in the doorway of our venue. The result was moody, intimate, stunning photos – our favorites from the day! We also had a lot of family portraits to take. Bailey was organized and not afraid to take charge (she’s great at wrangling – a must if you want to get anything done!). We ended up getting all of the shots we wanted and we did it on time. Not only is Bailey professional and creative, but she is also FUN! As a photographer you have to interact with everyone at the wedding – the couple, families and other vendors. Every single person that I spoke with after the wedding just kept saying “your photographer was great” or “your photographer had such great energy.” She felt more like a friend you’ve known forever than a photographer you hire to shoot your wedding. Obviously the most important part of choosing a photographer is the end result – the photos! We couldn’t be happier with the photos from both our engagement shoot and wedding day. Bailey is the best! We planned our wedding in only a few months so it was hard to find vendors available for our date on short notice. Bailey came recommended to us and it was fate that she was available on our day! It was important to me to have a photographer that I felt super comfortable around and Bailey instantly connected with both of us. In addition to taking amazing photos Bailey also helped us shape up the timeline for the whole day. She is so organized, professional and thorough - she helped us figure out how much time we needed for photos and allocate enough space so that we wouldn't feel rushed. And when we inevitably felt rushed due to usual wedding day craziness she kept us all grounded and on track and made sure everything on our shot list was covered. She delivered 1000 photos to us just 3 weeks after the wedding which is an insanely fast turnaround. I spoke to five photographers before picking Bailey. What initially drew me to her was the colors in her photographs. I didn't want the light look that's very in right now for weddings and it took me a while to find someone who loved deep colors! Bailey uses shadow and light in her pictures in a way most wedding photographers don't. What made me decide to book her as opposed to other photographers was our first Skype call! She just asked me about my relationship instead of immediately jumping into wedding logistics and pricing. She made me feel comfortable. I also loved her detailed questionnaires which helped me identify logistic issues I hadn't have thought of otherwise! Bailey made sure that she had all the information she needed to work on the wedding day without having to ask a bunch of questions. On the wedding day she kept calm, never pressuring me to cut a conversation short or do anything I didn't want to do. I felt like she was my advocate and because I trusted her (and my venue!) I was truly able to enjoy my wedding. The final product she delivered blew me away! She understood my vision for the day and captured it perfectly. I got married at the Tarrytown Castle and wanted a regal look. Bailey took gorgeous, moody shots of my venue, interesting and unconventional portraits of me and my husband, traditional friends-and-family shots, and hilarious candid moments! I didn't want cookie-cutter wedding photos but I also didn't want to stray too far from convention and Bailey struck that perfect balance. Ultimately I think Bailey is incredibly talented at reading the room, understanding the moment, feeling out people's personalities and tastes. She and her assistant made everyone comfortable and happy. And her pictures are just absolutely artful. Bailey is the best of both worlds when it comes to glamorous editorial style portraits and delightful candids. I'd recommend her to anyone as a photographer (or as a great person to grab coffee with!).

I was absolutely blown away by Bailey's work; she is phenomenally talented. She is very communicative, going out of her way to email and call us regularly to make sure that we were all on the same page for the photos. She also sent a timeline which was massively helpful and stayed a bit later to catch some of the dancing shots. My husband and I held our reception at Del Posto in NYC, and Bailey scouted places nearby that we could take our portraits; I was grateful to have one less task to do in planning. We ended up at the High Line, and the pictures are just STUNNING. We didn't want the traditional, posey shots, but something more artistic and glamorous, and we got that and more with Bailey - some of the photographs look as if they could be in a magazine. Her assistant was wonderful as well; it was awesome to have both of them there so that we got a wide variety of shots. I am so happy we went with her, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for portraits in the NY area.

Her easy, honest documentary-style photography was exactly what my husband and I were hoping for. We cannot say enough wonderful superlatives about Bailey. Bailey was the first vendor we chose for the wedding (after our venue), and it feels like she was with us through the whole process of planning. We loved how frequently Bailey checked in, how comfortable and supported she made us feel, and how flexible she was with every step of planning. Photographs were something that we really wanted done well, and it was immediately clear that Bailey was an artist. We decided that we didn't want an engagement shoot, and we were so happy when Bailey instead offered to take photos of our evening gathering on the day before our wedding. Everyone assumed that she must have been our close friend, as she was so warm, friendly, and present throughout the whole weekend. There are no words to describe how amazing Bailey is, but if there were, some would be: thoughtful, positive, professional, amazingly talented. Based on her photos alone, Bailey was one of our favorite photographers, and when we met with her in-person it sealed the deal - she was so comfortable and fun even just talking over coffee. We knew she would be a natural addition to our wedding weekend. Our expectations from there were high, and she exceeded them all! For the engagement photos, we really wanted to go hiking, and had the date lined up months ahead of time to catch the foliage. It ended up looking like a rainy day. Not many photographers would do an outdoor shoot, several hours from home, in the rain, but we asked anyways and Bailey said yes. And it was AMAZING!!! We had no idea we could love pictures so much. Bailey helped us look like the happiest, most fun version of ourselves. We imagine that shooting in non-stop drizzle was not easy - but Bailey made it look like a breeze. Not only that, but she helped us feel excited and happy and comfortable the entire time. Then the wedding itself - literally unbelievable. Our parents still can't stop talking about the pictures. They have spaces picked out on the wall, have shown all their friends (and then some), are absolutely OBSESSED with Bailey and actively recommend her to all their friends (who live on the opposite coast/a different country...). Our friends also loved her - we kept getting questions about how we found her, and several people asked for her by name after the event. We're just happy that she made them as happy as she made us, and it shows. The pictures really speak for themselves. Her communication throughout the process was perfect, and she added lots of extra touches - encouraging cards, questionnaires, helpful timeline advice, surprise morale-boosters. Our sneak peaks and final photos (and even blog posts in the middle!) came waaaaay faster than anyone expected, which is a real testament to how hard Bailey works for her couples. Just book her. Look no further!!!! From meeting at Wingaersheek Beach for our engagement photoshoot to 10 months later meeting again on my wedding day, Bailey made every step of the wedding planning process easy. She was so timely in her communication, understood what our vision was, and gave us some good laughs along the way. My husband and I decided to plan a semi-elopement (with a handful of guests) in six weeks. I was working full time and doing a part-time MBA and the last couple of weeks of planning coincided with my final exams. It was chaos. I'm tough to please and I knew I wanted a photographer that wouldn't just snap the standard photos, I wanted an *artist* who would roam the Arnold Arboretum with us, capturing the essence of our love. So, with the frenzied nature of sleep-deprived planning, I reached out to Bailey with a brusque email that had clearly been copy/pasted to a dozen other photographers. Bailey responded with a thoughtful message, detailed and transparent information on pricing, and links to some of her recent shoots. She immediately charmed me with her genuine enthusiasm and it felt like a sign from the wedding gods when she excitedly mentioned she married her husband in the Arnold Arboretum. It was such an amazing experience working with Bailey. I was really nervous prior to the shoot but after meeting her I immediately forgot about my fears. Let's start by saying look no further if you're in the market for one of Boston's best wedding photographers. My wife and I are both photographers - so at first, we were a bit skeptical about finding the right person to shoot us during this special time in our lives. More often than never my wife and I are the ones behind the camera calling the shots and this time around we were in an unusual position being in front of the camera together. When we met Bailey she was super friendly and had an energy to her that made it seem like we were old friends - this is a must have quality for any great photographer + being able to have a personal connection with your subjects is a must in order to produce amazing images both candid and staged. We did 2 shoots with Bailey - both our engagement and wedding photos. We couldn't have been more pleased with the results. As you can imagine just like any couple we were nervous seeing ourselves on camera but even the raw images had us head over heels with the untouched results. As a plus, Bailey also shoots in film too and it was very impressive to watch. She really delivered when it came to the quality & quantity of images. There were hundreds of photos to look through and many magical moments in there we didn't even know existed. Overall I'd rate our experience with Bailey 11/10. She went above and beyond to create a connection with us and to make such beautiful images - we really couldn't be happier, thank you Bailey!

I was very pleased with our decision to have Bailey as part of our wedding as our engagement and wedding photographer. My fiance and I both felt we were not photogenic people, so Bailey made us feel comfortable. She was prompt, organized, and genuinely excited about our wedding. We found her because she had shot with a another photographer who was recommended by our venue - but unavailable. Her photos were lovely and we have received many accolades. As wedding photography is inherently outrageous in price, we did not have a budget for a professional album, so I am not able to speak for that. I would hire her again or recommend to a close friend.

Bailey was the perfect person to capture our day. She was able to take pictures perfectly representing us and our friends and families. None of us even saw her take half of the pictures. We interviewed a handful of photographers prior to Bailey, but you could tell right away she has the perfect demeanor and personality for wedding photography. My fiancé and I went on our annual summer vacation and decided to go to Boston and little did I know the best surprise was coming my way. HE PROPOSED!!
