Second, we were impressed with all of the ways we were able to make our wedding our own - every wedding at Flanagan is beautiful and unique to the couple hosting . There are so many ways to work with this venue to host an event that is creative and special. Finally, we loved how we were able to stay onsite for the entire wedding weekend - it was so nice to be able to host friends and family throughout the weekend for smaller and more intimate celebrations in the lead up to the main event. We made so many wonderful memories here. We are very grateful!

Make no mistake, this is a barn venue but it is elevated elegance, and the beauty of the venue is that you can really create whatever you want with it. The two barns give space for flexibility and the lawn and orchard are beautiful and open for a tent or just for guests to gape at the beauty. One of the most unique and special aspects of Flanagan was that it allowed both of our families to stay together on the property. While this may not be everyone's first choice for their wedding weekend, we chose to bring both families (parents, siblings and their partners) together under one roof for three nights. It helped create a sense of true unity throughout the entire weekend. The night before the official celebrations began, we were able to use the gas grill on property to have a huge barbecue with everyone staying in the farmhouse, which was a great way to kick off the weekend. This aspect of the property was a huge draw for us and we did not find many others that allowed us to do that. If you have the privilege of planning your event with Mike and Essie, and at Flanagan Farm, you will not be disappointed. We hope to cross paths with them again soon!

Essie and Mike have put so much thought into the design, aesthetic, and layout of Flanagan Farm and were so available to assist with any questions, provide vendor recommendations, and check in to make sure we were feeling prepared over the two years we worked with them - they made us feel so comfortable and excited! We loved that we were the only wedding for the weekend and that we had access to the property from Thursday - Sunday. It helped us ease into the wedding celebrations and not feel rushed. We also really enjoyed having our wedding party stay with us onsite at the farm house. We even hosted a small wedding party and family gathering on Thursday night to kickoff the wedding weekend, and we're so grateful Flanagan provides such a beautiful space for multiple gatherings throughout the weekend. Truly, don't look any further than Flanagan - you will be in great hands with Essie and Mike and have such a beautiful wedding weekend that you'll remember forever. We couldn't be happier and Flanagan will always have a special place in our hearts.

In addition to working with an incredibly kind team, our favorite part of having our wedding at the Barn at Flanagan Farm was that we could make it ours. Each space (ceremony grove, small barn, big barn, farmhouse, fire pit) can be designed to match your vision, and the possibilities are endless! When my husband and I walked onto the property for our wedding weekend it genuinely felt like home to us, and there is no better feeling for the most special day of your lives. The property is timeless and naturally gorgeous, and our guests are still talking about how it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to over 6 months later! We are so thrilled to be part of the family at the Barn at Flanagan Farm, and feel so lucky that our wedding venue is a place you can return to for dinner and property events in the future. I promise you that booking one of the barns will be the best wedding decision you make!!

nteraction with Essie, Mike, and Kate made us think that we were the only couple getting married at Flanagan Farm all summer! The ceremony space is exactly what we always wanted, so calm and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. We had our cocktail hour on the lawn and our dinner in a tent on the lawn. They were both so so great! We finished the night dancing in the barn and it could not have been more fun to party in such a beautiful setting. Our guests are still raving about what a perfect place Flanagan Farm is. We stayed in the farmhouse from Tuesday-Sunday and it was such a nice way to relax before the wedding. We are so thankful for Flanagan Farm and Essie and Mike for making our wedding perfect.

We had access to a property manager throughout the entire weekend and it helped everything go so much more smoothly! Our guests raved about how gorgeous the venue was, from the ceremony space to the barn to the farmhouse itself. It felt both homey and upscale, exactly what we wanted for our laid back wedding! It really is a magical place, and we highly recommend it.

setting it was, from the Ceremony Grove to the wonderfully-preserved barn. It was the perfect venue for our elegant but understated wedding. It was also so convenient to be able to stay on-site in the farmhouse - we felt like we were welcoming our guests to our home! Not to mention, the farmhouse itself is well-appointed, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. We loved staying there. Mike, Essie, Kate, and the whole Flanagan Farm team were so communicative and wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Flanagan Farm is pure magic and you will NOT regret booking this venue.

tdoor space were beautiful and perfect for guests to have space to walk around, play lawn games, etc. The guest house and couples cottage were also stunning and we were so happy to have that space for the entire weekend. Mike and Essie were also so communicative and easy to work with. All around it was a perfect experience!

Because of their genuine love for their couples, their unending support and down to earth personalities....they were able to allow us to have a 5 star experience on the weekend of our wedding. We already knew we loved Mike + Essie from the very first email we received from them. They were introducing themselves to us as the new owners of our wedding venue. Now you may think that you would instantly panic and have 1000 questions..but no. These two were thoughtful and detailed in their email and they automatically gave you a feeling of security, comfort and excitement about the road ahead. We were SO excited to be on the wedding planning journey with them. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, THAT'S when we panicked. That panic quickly was erased the second we got on the phone with Mike + Essie to gameplan. They were incredible to say the least and really went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I had the wedding of our dreams. We actually were originally booked at the Barn at Walnut Hill (their sister property) but when we had to postpone our wedding 1 year later that venue was not available. The silver lining to the entire postponement process was that we truly got to feel what it means when they say "everything happens for a reason". We were once gut wrenched to find out our venue was not available...but then, we were able to book The Barn at Flanagan Farm for our 2021 date. Our original dream venue. Talk about full circle. Cut to our wedding weekend in October of 2021 - Even before we arrived on property we received yet again another thoughtful and detailed email from Mike + Essie preparing us for our weekend stay. Arriving onsite, we knew that we were going to be fully taken care of by the amazing property manager Jean. Jean was onsite during the entire weekend ready and willing to help with anything we needed. From start to finish she was there and we were are so grateful for her! Now onto the actual property. The Barn at Flanagan Farm has it all! Accessible parking and entrances to the barn, the most magical ceremony sanctuary there ever was, stunning meadow views and a picture perfect set of barns. This property is a blank canvas for any couple to personalize and truly make their own. There is not a single thing I would have changed about the property, its pure magic. We can not say enough about how magical our experience was with The Barn at Flanagan Farm and the incredible team of humans who made it all happen. My wife and I can not recommend them enough and can ensure that you will do the same once you come down from your wedding weekend high as well. XO The Kesters

k by how beautiful a location it was. We ended up getting married there in July and it was immaculate in the summer. We loved that the wedding party was able to stay on-site in the farmhouse --- it really made the day a lot more relaxing and seamless. The property manager Jean was awesome --- she really helped direct all of our vendors on the wedding day and make sure that everything went smoothly!

Gail has thought of every detail and then some at Flanagan and it made the flow of the wedding seamless, and the whole weekend a dream. as incredibly accommodating - leaving pastries on the kitchen table for us to enjoy on occasion as well! When we got to the venue for the actual event she stopped by to make sure everything was off to a good start and brought delicious 'Holy Donuts' for us as well. The property manager was also attentive and very helpful each day. She cleaned up after us each morning, always with a smile on her face. I don't have enough nice things to say about this venue. It really made the week and the wedding day truly spectacular! :)

For me, the best part was having the whole wedding party stay with us in the attached farm house from Thursday through Sunday, making a full wedding weekend experience. The grooms cottage was a nice touch allowing privacy for the bridal party the morning of our ceremony. The services provided by the barn, including daily housekeeping, landscapers and parking attendants during the event were all professional and friendly. The vendors that the barn works with are of the highest caliber, providing seamless coordination between services, although that did lead to a final budget that I hadn't anticipated. Overall, we are extremely happy with our decision to have our wedding at Flanagan Farm!
