Barrington Golf club is an incredible place to hold your wedding! We had ours there in June of 2024 and it was everything we could have wanted. The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious, they had huge areas for getting ready, we were able to do everything besides dinner outside, and it felt like the perfect summer venue! Jillian and Elyse were great to work with and so helpful in answering all of our questions. Day of they are there to guide you through it all. Would highly recommend!

At Barrington Golf Club, you can exchange vows outdoors surrounded by over 150 of your loved ones. Ceremonies are held on the terrace, overlooking the picturesque grounds, peaceful pond, and stylish clubhouse. Pristine white seating is provided by the dedicated staff. Afterward, cocktail hour is held on the nearby veranda, with high tables covered in pristine white linens adding to the sophisticated ambience. Receptions are held in the main ballroom. This spacious room is characterized by full-length French windows that allow abundant natural light to seep in. Classic furnishings and plush interiors provide the ideal backdrop for elegant soirées. The floorplan can be curated to reflect your tastes and preferences, with either round tables or banquet-style setups available. You and your wedding party can avail of preparation suites for the duration of your special celebration.
The dedicated staff is on hand to bring your vision to life. In-house coordinator Elyse Broer will collaborate with you to ascertain your vision from start to finish. You are free to decorate the venue within the country club’s guidelines and with the assistance of the on-site personnel. as well. Elyse the clubs Event Planner, was very accommodating and thorough.
The Club itself is a beautiful venue in a gorgeous setting.
Our guests were all so complimentary, and most importantly, the Bride and Groom were so happy and loved every aspect of their special day.
I highly recommend Barrington Golf Club for a wedding location.

Not only was this a beautiful venue but the food was also incredible. Very rarely is food great at a wedding simply because of the number of people that are in attendance however all of our guests raved about the quality.

Barrington has a wonderful outdoor area for the ceremony, a patio for cocktail hour and dancing, and inside for dinner. Their food is AMAZING! I was told by multiple people it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. The chicken bites with maple sriracha sauce were a hit! Plus they had a dessert bar which people loved. Elyse ensured there were plenty of people staffed for the night and they worked so efficiently as a team. You could tell they’ve done this and are true professionals. I would recommend them for any and all events!

had multiple meetings with her leading up to our big day to talk logistics through in person and she had a lot of helpful ideas to contribute in the planning process. She also managed all the decorations and logistics for the actual wedding day, and made sure the whole event went smoothly by communicating with all the vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page.
Day-of, the service was incredible. Pre-wedding we were told by family/friends that we wouldn’t get the chance to eat during our reception – the staff at Barrington made sure this was anything but true. Throughout dinner people kept coming up to the two of us making sure we had all the food/drinks we needed – they even set aside hors d’oeuvres from our cocktail hour at our table to make sure we got a chance to taste those before the actual meal! Also, the food itself is incredible – we got lots of compliments throughout the night on how good it was.
Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at Barrington, and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a venue.

All of our other vendors were happy to be working with Barrington. All drop offs were smoothly and the DJ was easily able to transition from outside to inside for dinner.
We cannot recommend this venue enough. Weather it is for a wedding, graduation party or corporate event, we would happily plan a party here again!

We have beautiful photos and were able to enjoy an outdoor vibe wedding with the dance floor, lounge chairs and fireplaces, bar etc outside, while being able to be inside to socialize. have the dancing under a large gazebo and patio with bonfires for guests who didn't feel like dancing or they could go back inside and sit at the dinner tables. The food was delicious and received many compliments from our guests. There are still some guests commenting on it today. Elyse Broer, the venue coordinator, is very organized and did an amazing job setting up the venue with our decorations (table numbers, wedding favors, card box, etc). She also did an amazing job keeping us all on track on the wedding day and helped avoid potential crises (ex provided a steamer because my wedding dress was not properly steamed by my bridal shop). She was always readily accessible and answered all my questions promptly. I would recommend this venue to everyone - I really could not have asked for more.

Elyse Boer the Wedding Event Coordinator is simply amazing to work with! She listened to my daughter and I and helped put all of our ideas into play. Through phone calls and emails she was ALWAYS there for us!
She literally blew us away on the day of our daughters wedding! From getting things set up, tables, centerpieces, ceremony, reception, working with our vendors, to making sure everything fell into place and kept us all on time with the itinerary. She made sure we had everything we needed or asked for, the day of our daughters wedding. She put all of our minds at ease so that we were able to enjoy the wonderful day!
So very happy with Elyse Boer, the Chef and all of the staff at Barrington Golf Club. Trust me you will not be disappointed! It truly is a beautiful venue and we had a Beautiful Magical day!

Elyse was a gem to work with - everything went so smoothly there wasn’t a wrinkle the entire evening. She was scheduled to leave right after dinner but stayed until midnight to make sure everything went smoothly for the entire night. I would highly recommend this beautiful club for any event you are proposing.

or or outdoor event. There was also an abundance of space provided for all of the wedding party members to prepare for the event.
Mother nature cooperated and we had a wonderful ceremony overlooking the lake and an evening of socializing and dancing outdoors. The surrounding landscape, lake, and golf course provided a great background for pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime.
Both the hors d'oeurves during cocktail hour and the dinner were fantastic. I have been to Barrington Golf Club on several occasions for fund raisers and the food has always been spot on. Dinner was inside in an elegantly decorated dining room. The large glass windows allowed the guests to continue to take in the beauty of the golf club during dinner.
One would expect that things could not get any better, but they did. The staff was outstanding during the wedding, catering to the needs of all individual requests. I greatly appreciated the efforts of Broyce, Carlie, Danny, Taylor, and their fellow staff members who helped make the evening a wonderful success!
Finally, a deeply sincere thanks goes out to Elyse who worked with my wife Carol to coordinate the event. Elyse guided us through the process, listened to our needs and concerns, provided insight and suggestions, and effortlessly (at least to us) made the whole event come together flawlessly. We had 150 people at the wedding so I give Elyse 300 thumbs up!
If you are planning a wedding I highly recommend inquiring about Barrington Golf Club as a venue for your special event.
Would I do it all over again? In an instant!

nue like Barrington. Wonderful food, beautiful ceremony site on the lake, cocktail hour and dance floor outside and beautiful inside. We chose the barrington for all of those reasons and special to us is that my sister and I have severe food allergies and we were very nervous we wouldn't be able to eat during my wedding day. I had actually planned on not eating on my wedding day because of the fear of getting sick. We were catered too through the whole process. They went out of their way to make sure that they did everything they could to prevent us from getting sick.
It was so nice to come to the venue on my wedding day and leave everything else to Elyse who made Emmy vision look beautiful. She also was a lifesaver when my florist didn't bring a toss bouquet and she quickly made one without me even knowing.
Book this venue you won't regret anything.

made sure that everything ran smoothly, and helped bring my vision of the perfect wedding to life! The food was also amazing! We are still getting compliments on the food, and have been told by numerous guests that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. I would recommend this venue to everybody!

spaces available for the reception are really quite amazing. Dinner was inside (beautiful, and delicious) Dancing outside, the bar was off in a corner and there were little lounge areas with glass rock fires. These separate (but intimately connected) spaces made the reception unique and fun, it was quite different than just being in a giant hall. Great attention to detail overall, great space, great staff...the whole thing was amazing.
