Berlynn worked really closely with myself and my wedding planner to make sure everything was perfect for my wedding. We had a 4pm wedding in December at the beach, so we had a very short timeline to get all our photos with enough light in the sky before the sun set. I was so glad to have Berlynn’s expertise to make sure we captured every shot that was important to me and my husband! We will treasure our photos forever.

Our wedding pictures turned out better than I ever expected. We had 2 shooters and had so many great pictures. We also had a videographer that made us the most incredible videos for us to share with our friends and family. Communication was easy and pricing was very straight forward. So happy with the final product.

I love working with Berlynn. As a fellow photographer, I know all her couples will be in great hands. She puts her heart and soul into each and every shoot and it shows in her work. Every time I get to work with her, I always appreciate her creative process and the end results are amazing. As a fellow vendor, I get to know her planning process behind the scenes. She really takes the time to prepare and do the footwork beforehand to set all her couples up for success. I always look forward to working with her.

Wedding (10.21.23) & Engagement Package - TOP NOTCH! The first time we were scheduled to meet Berlynn, I had a last-minute conflict. Instead of canceling, my fiancé took the meeting solo. The three of us later joked that it may have been the first time a groom ever attended the initial call alone. Although I hadn’t personally met Berlynn, I immediately knew she was the one. Not only did I get an amazing review from my fiancé, but Berlynn sent me a FULL recap (same day) of their conversation, a sample timeline (including the time the sun would set on our wedding day!) and asked what we envisioned for an engagement shoot. Berlynn was the first photographer we spoke to that immediately followed-up, had a clear vision, and passion for her craft. Going into the engagement shoot, she was flexible, fun, and made us feel more comfortable than we could have EVER imagined. Shortly after, I shared our engagement pics with a recently married friend who stated “I love this style of photography. I felt like my photographer had us posed too much and I don’t like my pics because we don’t look authentic”. This hits the nail on the head – we wanted a wedding photographer that would take the traditional family portraits but also capture us as a couple/candid. The second we started shooting with Berlynn during the engagement shoot we felt comfortable. She made us feel like she was just as excited to be there as we were. She directed us, helped me change outfits, but most importantly took the time to get to know us as a couple and captured that. This photoshoot helped us feel comfortable as we went into the wedding day. If you’re hesitant on including the engagement shoot – do it!!! The wedding day – we were blown away by her collaboration with ALL our vendors. I truly don’t know how she does it. She knew more details and timelines than I did. It felt like we had an extra friend or family member by our side. She assured us that we were getting the shots, that we looked great, that everything was perfect, and even offered me her spare flats when I said my feet hurt. Does it get better than that? We’ve since received a huge bulk of photos. Berlynn exceeded our expectations. We received so many photos with the pure emotions captured – happy tears and laughter. It was amazing to see how many photos she took of the ceremony, property, tent, and details. It goes by so fast and it is hard to remember exactly what it all looked like while you’re caught up in the moment but Berlynn captured it and saved these memories for us forever. Our experience with her was 10/10. We can’t wait to use her for any of our future photographer needs.

I am awkward in front of the camera and Berlynn was great with giving directions and making me feel comfortable and the photos came out so amazing!! So many people have reached out to say how outstanding of photos are and I tell them it was all the photographer. Can’t recommend enough, fantastic person, easy to work with, great photos, and a fair price!! Go with Berlynn!

BERLYNN WAS AMAZING!!! She is truly such a fun photographer and we loved her personality from the first call. Her style was exactly what I was looking for- we got married in a cabin in the woods so her gorgeous moody editing just fit like a charm. I'd recommend her to absolutely anyone. Berlynn is just WOW! My wedding day was pouring raining the entire day which forced us to take most of our photos inside which I was bummed about but I could not believe how amazing my photos turned out. Berlynn was so positive and fun and made us feel so comfortable. My family and friends are truly blown away by our photos. I am so grateful I chose Berlynn to capture our special day. She also had great communication though out and such a quick turnaround with the photos. I cannot say enough things about things about how talented she is. 12/10 would recommend. Stop your search and just hire Berlynn already. She and her second shooter were the absolute BEST photographers we’ve ever worked with. Not only are they the nicest, they’re also extremely talented. Berlynn has such an amazing eye and exactly captures what we were looking for and more. She makes you feel extremely comfortable, confident (even if you hate taking pictures), and is so accommodating. It was hard counting how many times people told us our photos look like they came out of a magazine. That’s all thanks to Berlynn! She even did research of the area around our venue and surprised us with a rooftop shoot at sunset looking over downtown San Diego. I 100% would recommend you use Berlynn!

Berlynn was amazing! We are so in love with our wedding photos. Berlynn is such a pro at what she does! We had a great experience leading up to the wedding and Berlynn provided us with excellent resources that she puts together and let us know what to expect day of as well. The experience on the day of our wedding was great!! She truly captured everything we hoped for. Berlynn directed us and made us feel so comfortable the entire day. Our photos are a dream!

Berlynn is literally IT. I have never done a photo shoot in my entire life and she and her team made it so easy and effortless. She literally made us feel confident and pretty and sexy when we took our wedding photos. Berlynn exudes this bright, happy, beautiful energy that is impossible to not play off of. She will forever be our photographer. Maternity photos? Berlynn. Baby shower? Berlynn. Birthdays, graduations, Christmas cards, my funeral?? Ber-freaking-lynn.

Berlynn just shot and delivered our engagement photos and we could not be happier!! We’re not the most comfortable couple in front of the camera but she was able to pull something special out of us, the pictures turned out amazing capturing our love and happiness perfectly. Hiring Berlynn was honestly the best decision my wife and I made throughout our wedding process. She was quick to reply from the start, and made us both feel extremely comfortable. On our wedding day she was phenomenal at capturing all of our most precious moments, and remembering so many things we would have completely forgot. Berlynn was truly amazing at making us both feel confident and comfortable in all the shots she had us take, and the results couldn't have been more amazing. Furthermore, we received our digital copies in just two weeks (I have friends that it took months). Overall, working with Berlynn exceeded our expectations and the final photos could not have turned out any better. I absolutely loved Berlynn! I booked her to do an engagement shoot with my then fiance, and she did an incredible job of making us feel comfortable (we are a couple that hates taking photos) by directing us how to stand, when to look at each other, where to put our hands, etc. She really knows how to articulate what will make the best shot and how to achieve it by conveying emotions and body language. Her personality is bubbly, easygoing. It was a pleasure to be photographed by her. The outcome of the photos was SPOT ON! Her editing skills are phenomenal in the sense that she captures the real you, but she enhances what is caught on camera (in regards to skin texture, slight color adjustments, etc.) and the photos look realistic and not over-edited. Her aesthetic is just what I was looking for. She is open to the ideas of her clients and works with them to achieve their vision. We loved Berlynn and her work so much that we booked her for our wedding. She, again, did a phenomenal job. We knew that she was going to capture everything that we wanted and she incorporated things that she learned from other weddings, and the result was better than I could have ever imagined. I had complete faith in her and her work, and I knew that when I booked her, that was one thing that I didn't have to worry about on our big day. I cannot praise Berlynn enough for her work, and I 10/10 recommend her to anyone who is getting engaged and/or has a wedding coming up. I plan on using her services at any future event where I want pictures taken.

Berlynn was absolutely AMAZING! I would give her more than the 5 stars if it were possible. We decided to do a second batch of engagement photos last minute (COVID pushed us to reschedule our wedding), and Berlynn was great from the start. She was everything we could dream of for our engagement photographer. Berlynn was quick to book and came to the shoot ready to match our vision of what we wanted. Neither my fiancé or myself are good strike-a-pose in front of the camera type of people, but that didn’t matter because she helped so much with directing us and letting us know what looked good or what we could switch to look better. She had us giggling the whole time and it felt so natural. All around it was one of the best experiences I have had, I would recommend her over and over again!

I found Berlynn on the Knot and after talking to her I knew she was the photographer I needed ❤️ She is incredibly talented and really has a passion for what she does. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day she was able to capture the love and relationship that Ozzy and I have. Her and Megan as a team for our wedding was absolutely amazing as well. As the bride you are not able to see everything that is happening on your big day however the amount of detail that they captured as a team made me feel connected to everything that happened ❤️ I would be honored to have Berlynn be our photographer for any special moment in our lives❤️

I would 1 million percent recommend Berlynn! She was absolutely amazing! She made the wedding picture taking process so so easy! She is so good at what she does, extremely professional fast and knows exactly what to do in allll of the the craziness! She captured absolutely everything, even a lot of my guests commented on how cool it was that she was literally everywhere all night making sure she didn't miss a thing! Hands down one of the most important decisions for my wedding was a fantastic photographer - and I am SO glad I chose Berlynn Photography!!! My now-husband and I decided to elope after postponing our East Coast wedding twice due to Covid. Berlynn was so helpful, and kind, and has a flair for taking beautiful pictures. We weren’t really sure what we wanted from our engagement pictures because my fiancé and I are awkward in front of a camera. Howevet, Berlynn made us feel comfortable, and made the experience fun and memorable. She made us get over our awkwardness quickly! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! I am a very particular person and Berlyn exceeded all of my expectations. Due to my wedding being canceled, twice, because of COVID-19, my fiancé and I decided to elope! Berlynn is my best discovery on instagram! My husband and I were looking for someone to do a couple's photo session for us before he left for deployment. From Texas, I was unfamiliar with San Diego photographers so I randomly searched for one on social media. When I saw Berlynn's photos, I was so impressed that I instantly booked her. We had so much fun with Berlynn. She knew all of the spots at Sunset Cliffs and how to pose us for the best shots. She was so patient with us and our dog! Her friendly personality was just so refreshing. The photos were done in about 10 business days, just like she said. Reliable, professional, fun. What more could you want in a photographer?! Highly recommend Berlynn!! Too bad my wedding is in Texas or I'd love to have Berlynn as our photographer.

Berlynn is very professional and yet very easy to get along with. She made us feel so comfortable and helped guide us when we needed it and was open to suggestions we had as well. Our engagement pictures are STUNNING. Kim's knowledge of outdoor photography is a perfect match for a beach side shoot (which is what we did). Berlynn is such a fun photographer to work with, as well as patient, professional, and creative. She did a shoot at our wedding a couple of years ago, and I still get compliments on our amazing photos. She truly made my vision her own ❤ I recently hired her again, because in all honesty, I knew she would do a great job so I did not shop around! We did our family portraits at the beach, and like most families, it was kind of similar to herding cats. Berlynn steps up and makes it fun, but also keeps people on a timeline to ensure you get what you want! We wound up liking almost all the photos, so it was so hard to choose! My family commented they were not wild about getting photos taken, but I made them! Afterward, they all remembered how much fun Berlynn makes the whole process and ALL of them agreed it was a really great idea! Her prices are spot on, and maybe on the cheaper side especially when you see her results! On top of having a really great eye, Berlynn is communicative and there are no surprises, except how enthusiastic she is about this business. I could tell from the first time I met her she has a true passion for photography, and I will continue to use her for additional events. I highly recommend at least chatting with her if you are shopping around, for I believe she will not disappoint at all!

I contacted Berlynn to arrange for some (surprise!) engagement photos of me and my fiancée, as I popped the question whilst on holiday in San Diego. Berlynn was very enthusiastic and helped me to pinpoint the perfect beach location and make preparations for the day. She really went the extra mile and helped to prepare a service that was perfectly tailored to what I was looking for, allowing me to propose in a way which was a real surprise, with the entire moment being captured discreetly. We then had an hour, on location, photo shoot. We loved Berylnn's ideas and style, which clearly reflect how passionate she is about lifestyle photography. We couldn't be more thrilled with the whole experience, and the beautiful photographs which Berlynn created for us. In the end, we took the whole collection of photos from the day as they were too good to whittle down and so reasonably priced! We have had so many compliments on them!
