g solo. The three of us later joked that it may have been the first time a groom ever attended the initial call alone. Although I hadn’t personally met Berlynn, I immediately knew she was the one. Not only did I get an amazing review from my fiancé, but Berlynn sent me a FULL recap (same day) of their conversation, a sample timeline (including the time the sun would set on our wedding day!) and asked what we envisioned for an engagement shoot. Berlynn was the first photographer we spoke to that immediately followed-up, had a clear vision, and passion for her craft. Going into the engagement shoot, she was flexible, fun, and made us feel more comfortable than we could have EVER imagined. Shortly after, I shared our engagement pics with a recently married friend who stated “I love this style of photography. I felt like my photographer had us posed too much and I don’t like my pics because we don’t look authentic”. This hits the nail on the head – we wanted a wedding photographer that would take the traditional family portraits but also capture us as a couple/candid. The second we started shooting with Berlynn during the engagement shoot we felt comfortable. She made us feel like she was just as excited to be there as we were. She directed us, helped me change outfits, but most importantly took the time to get to know us as a couple and captured that. This photoshoot helped us feel comfortable as we went into the wedding day. If you’re hesitant on including the engagement shoot – do it!!! The wedding day – we were blown away by her collaboration with ALL our vendors. I truly don’t know how she does it. She knew more details and timelines than I did. It felt like we had an extra friend or family member by our side. She assured us that we were getting the shots, that we looked great, that everything was perfect, and even offered me her spare flats when I said my feet hurt. Does it get better than that? We’ve since received a huge bulk of photos. Berlynn exceeded our expectations. We received so many photos with the pure emotions captured – happy tears and laughter. It was amazing to see how many photos she took of the ceremony, property, tent, and details. It goes by so fast and it is hard to remember exactly what it all looked like while you’re caught up in the moment but Berlynn captured it and saved these memories for us forever. Our experience with her was 10/10. We can’t wait to use her for any of our future photographer needs.

Her editing skills are phenomenal in the sense that she captures the real you, but she enhances what is caught on camera (in regards to skin texture, slight color adjustments, etc.) and the photos look realistic and not over-edited. Her aesthetic is just what I was looking for. She is open to the ideas of her clients and works with them to achieve their vision. We loved Berlynn and her work so much that we booked her for our wedding. She, again, did a phenomenal job. We knew that she was going to capture everything that we wanted and she incorporated things that she learned from other weddings, and the result was better than I could have ever imagined. I had complete faith in her and her work, and I knew that when I booked her, that was one thing that I didn't have to worry about on our big day. I cannot praise Berlynn enough for her work, and I 10/10 recommend her to anyone who is getting engaged and/or has a wedding coming up. I plan on using her services at any future event where I want pictures taken.

We did our family portraits at the beach, and like most families, it was kind of similar to herding cats. Berlynn steps up and makes it fun, but also keeps people on a timeline to ensure you get what you want! We wound up liking almost all the photos, so it was so hard to choose! My family commented they were not wild about getting photos taken, but I made them! Afterward, they all remembered how much fun Berlynn makes the whole process and ALL of them agreed it was a really great idea! On top of having a really great eye, Berlynn is communicative and there are no surprises, except how enthusiastic she is about this business.
