It's hard to pick our favorite photos, we keep finding new favorites. Her second photographer was also great, and they both brought a warm, calm energy that I appreciated on a chaotic wedding day.

line was super quick to respond to our inquiry and was very accommodating throughout our planning process. She had amazing insight and helpful tips that would make our day run smoothly. Prior to the wedding she had us complete an online questionnaire to get a better idea of what we desired for photos which I found very helpful on the day of the wedding. Our wedding was in July in Shrewsbury, Vermont. We had a small/microwedding so we had about 4 hours with Caroline that day. Her organization skills and ability to capture the perfect shot quickly allowed for us to pack a lot of photos into a shortened amount of time. During the wedding she did an amazing job of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, which is reflected in the photos. She was able to capture all the sweet moments, big and small! We never once felt awkward or forced into cheesy poses. The final product is an absolute work of art and something that we will cherish forever! Her photos captured every emotion of the day in the most pure, natural way. We will forever be grateful for Caroline and her beautiful work!

Nailed it!!! They both were such a pleasure to work with and totally understood our vision, we wanted to create a vintage look to our photos that portrayed romance, love, with a bit of edginess… and that is exactly what they captured and then some. Caroline and Brooke have a serious knack for what they do, our photos stood out, they were different from the “typical wedding” photos, the photos looked so natural and most importantly they made us feel so incredible comfortable. Birke Photography is in a league of its own. There is not one single picture we don’t absolutely love!! Caroline is super friendly and really helped me get used to being in front of the camera (usually NOT my thing) and then seeing the beautiful photographs that resulted (I normally really don't like the way I look in pictures) just confirmed that I had made the right choice. When it came to the wedding she was super helpful in planning my day of time line and ensuring I got the shots I really wanted while not missing much of our cocktail hour or reception. We received our photos just 2 & 1/2 weeks after our wedding & just like our engagement photos they were prefect! It is so amazing to get to relive our perfect day every time I see our photos :)

usband and myself are very shy, typically we aren’t ones to willingly hop in front of a camera. Caroline, however, was so lovely and easy to work with that this wasn’t even an issue. She made it very easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera. We just received our wedding photographs, and our absolutely thrilled. She captured some really nice moments, which included an assortment of candid and posed pictures (which don’t even look posed), as well as some really beautiful shots of my dress and our wedding bands. Caroline doesn’t just shoot and edit typical wedding photos… each shot is truly a work of art!

We also really appreciated that she was flexible and let her second photographer, Cameron, shoot video at some key moments. And she was sweet enough to drive all the way out to Burlington to meet us for the first time the day before (we were planning from out of town) and take some shots at our rehearsal. hould be asking when looking for a photographer; we just knew we wanted phenomenal pictures. We got that and more! From my first phone call with Caroline, I knew that we were working with an experienced professional that would take great care of us. She was in communication with us for the few months leading up to our wedding, including sending over a questionnaire that helped us think through what was important to us. She was experienced with our venue, and sent over detailed timeline options to make sure we got everything in that we wanted. Since we had never been professionally photographed before, we were a little nervous about the whole thing, but Caroline put us completely at ease and we just had a blast with her throughout the whole day. While we had some idea of the kinds of photos we wanted, we leaned on her wedding expertise and familiarity with the area, which meant we got some stunning shots in a covered bridge, out in a field and even with a herd of cows on the side of the road. She was fantastic with our families and guests before and during the ceremony and reception. And while spending time with our friends and family throughout our wedding was a priority for us, she kept an eye on the light outside and took us out to capture some golden hour shots. The end result was an enormous set of stunning photos which all perfectly captured our day. Caroline was the perfect choice, and we cannot recommend her enough!

Weather didn't really agree with us on our wedding day but we made the best of it and I'm sure the pictures will be beautiful! We can't wait to see her photos of our wedding! raphy was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Everyone who saw our photos commented on them...."Your photographer nailed it", "Wow, this is not your typical boring wedding photography". Caroline has an eye for using nature to enhance each and every shot - there were so many incredible photos, we still wonder how she was able to pull this off having never walked property prior to our wedding. The truth is, she is just that talented. Beyond her photos, Caroline was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was incredibly patient and kind, and was literally there to quietly capture the day. She did not interrupt the flow, and brought a calm vibe on an obviously hectic day. She was easy to work with when she made suggestions for different places and poses for photographs. Before our wedding I met with Caroline and her cousin to do a shoot for my husband, they made me feel so comfortable and the pictures, let's just say my husband was happy! Skip to a few months later and she and her husband made the long drive for our wedding. They were phenomenal- very unobtrusive, warm and professional, they fit right into the day. Family were telling us after how great they were. I was running late (shocker) and even with a short amount of time to get the shots they were both so calm and relaxed never adding to the stress-- and the photos! They truly captured how amazing we both felt that day and how much fun we had...we got so many incredible artistic and romantic pictures, I had trouble selecting which photos to print! You will be so happy if you choose to hire Birke, we are expecting our first baby now and can't wait to have them take family photos!
