Carolyn Kulb! This woman is amazing! My husband and I contracted Carolyn and Bloom Poet in 2020 for our wedding in 2021, but we had to not only push our wedding to 2022 we had to change venues as well and Carolyn never skipped a beat or charged us more for the move. She did a beautiful design for our original venue in 2021 and while the elements largely stayed the same between our original venue and the venue we ended up getting married at, it still was a redesign and she did it flawlessly. Carolyn is accessible, creative, vivacious and so easy to talk to! I also think she is part cheerleader… as the big day approached, she was Emailing us and encouraging us to ask her any last-minute questions and to just let us know she was there for us. The big day came and we hardly noticed her or her team, they slipped in did everything they said they would, and slipped out. It was the same thing for the load out. Her designs were beautiful, exactly what we asked for and on budget. We highly recommend Bloom Poet!
First off, we HIGHLY recommend Carolyn and Folk Art Flowers for anyone looking for a florist!! Carolyn is easy to work with and has such an amazing eye for design. You will not regret choosing her as your florist!!
Like many people in 2020, our wedding was derailed and the entire year became something of a planning fiasco. We were calling vendors left and right trying to properly postpone but also still trying to have the wedding of our dreams. Carolyn was the absolute dream floral vendor for us!! She was so supportive and flexible of helping us find our new dates but also staying in sync with us on potential design changes due to new wedding dates spewing up left and right. We moved our wedding date three times which meant we had a wedding date in three different seasons and different florals. However, Carolyn kept the original floral vision alive with her knowledge of the kind of florals that grow for the different seasons. It was amazing to see and the end result was SPECTACULAR!! She was the perfect planning partner to have alongside us and we cannot emphasize enough how helpful and kind she was.
We proudly and unequivocally recommend Carolyn and Folk Art Flowers to everyone and anyone!! Book her today!!
We LOVED working with Folk Art Flowers. Carolyn and her team were so patient, kind and cooperative (especially when planning an event during COVID). We were blown away after the first meeting with Carolyn on how creative and thorough her ideas were. She was even willing to plant and harvest some of the specific flowers we hoped to have at our wedding. How cool is that?
Not only was working with her simple and fun, but the floral work was astounding. The flowers, including the bouquet, tent greenery and wearable flower pieces, were some of the main comments I got about our wedding!
If you want a florist who is trustworthy, creative, and deeply invested in every part of the process, Folk Art Flowers is who you should hire.
Carolyn was SO WONDERFUL to work with! We had such a lovely video-chat to go over what I had envisioned for my small elopement ceremony that immediately put me at ease on what to expect for my big day. I only had a few specific flowers and colors in mind and let her take the creative reigns otherwise, which is definitely the way to go. The palette alone was amazing and exciting! And what she created for my flower crown and bouquet was absolutely phenomenal and breathtaking - so much so that I have already been telling my husband I hope we can have her recreate them some day! I would definitely recommend Carolyn for your wedding florals!
Carolyn was a dream to work with, and the floral arrangements and my bouquet were INSANELY GORGEOUS.
In our initial consult, Carolyn asked such great questions to gain an understanding of my style and vision, and she made helpful recommendations and suggestions along the way. There was excellent communication the whole time, so by the time my wedding came I had so much confidence about everything going smoothly. Carolyn and her team took care of all the set up and tear down, making my life just so much easier. Everything turned out better than I could have possibly dreamed.
I am so glad we chose Folk Art Flowers for our little wedding!
I could not speak more highly of Carolyn at Folk Art Flowers! She was truly a delight to work with and so unbelievably accommodating every step of the way. During our very first meeting she asked thoughtful questions to get to know my partner and I and help us shape our vision for the wedding - it felt like chatting with a friend. When we had to change course due to covid, she made sure to support us and offer encouragement as we had to make some hard decisions about what our wedding would look like. She ended up providing us with *the most* beautiful flowers for our tiny backyard ceremony and I could not be more excited that we get to work with her again next year for our big celebration! There is so much more I could say about her enthusiasm, emotional support, and genuine talent as a florist but I'll leave it at this: do yourself a favor and hire Carolyn, she will help make your wedding the special, perfect day it should be!
Carolyn is a dream to work with and the flower arrangements she puts together are even dreamier. My original plans were to not have a bouquet during my ceremony, but a bunch of altered plans and postponed dates due to coronavirus led me to change my mind. And boy am I glad I took the leap.
I let Carolyn take creative freedom with what & how she pulled together; providing her with the color palette & a few other details to help guide the way. The bouquet, flower cuff and boutonnieres she created were exquisite. If I had one complaint, it's that I wished the flowers lasted longer just so that I could enjoy them longer.
