DELICIOUS! My (now) husband and I did a cupcake tasting to pick our wedding cake flavors. We had a November wedding, so we went with their snickerdoodle and pumpkin. The cake and icing were amazing and our guests loved it. Highly suggested!

One word: INCREDIBLE! Blue Crab created our wedding cake, which was included with our venue (Kent Island Resort) and we were able to taste flavors beforehand. We knew that the cake/cupcakes would be great, but this was another level of perfection. The cake and cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We had a snickerdoodle cake, and I dont have words for how delicious it was! Megan was amazing to work with and helped me decide what combo was best, and even let us switch one of our cupcake flavors at the last minute to their October special - peanut butter cup, which was amazing. She helped us pick a design and it was BEAUTIFUL! They nailed it! Highly recommend cakes, cupcakes, anything you can get from here. I will be purchasing ALL of my cakes (Probably snickerdoodle :)) from here going forward! Thank you Blue Crab!

Blue Crab Cupcakes is an absolute MUST! We did their mini cupcakes for our wedding and are so thrilled we did. Their cake is TO DIE FOR and they have so many flavors! Our guests were so happy to have a quick bite on the dance floor! Would highly recommend!

Blue Crab made a beautiful and delicious sweetheart cake for our wedding! It was exactly what we requested (design, color, flavors) and was baked perfectly and looked so elegant. Blue Crab Cupcakes made our wedding absolutely perfect! Their cupcakes were such a hit amongst our guests that we had zero leftovers after the wedding. People kept going back for seconds. The set-up and cupcake execution were flawless. We had over 200 guests and each one of the cupcakes was perfectly designed and were incredibly fresh tasting. Not to mention, our two-tier cake decoration was fantastic. Megan was able to take one example picture and then exceed all expectations with the execution of our wedding cake. The gluten free options were also such a hit at the wedding. It allowed us to include every member of our family regardless of their dietary restriction. The product was delicious, the set-up was fantastic. I cannot recommend Blue Crab Cupcakes enough for your future wedding cake/cupcake needs. They were such a joy to work with!

We arranged our wedding cake from Blue Crab Cupcakes and it was hands down one of the most spectacular parts of our wedding. After trying the mini cupcake sampler, we settled on the lemon blueberry flavor with a buttercream frosting. Not only was it beautiful, but everyone was blown away by how delicious it was. Our guests were still talking about it weeks later! The team at Blue Crab Cupcakes was lovely to work with. We plan to recommend them to everyone we know. THE BEST. Everyone was raving over the cake and mini cupcakes we selected. They have so many flavor options (didn’t try one I didn’t like), have display stands if needed, and perform delivery! Very easy to work with. I will definitely be using Blue Crab Cupcakes for other events in the future!

I have always wanted strawberry shortcake for my wedding cake and Blue Crab Cupcakes let that dream happen! They were easy to work with and delivered the cakes to the venue. We got a small cutting cake and then sheet cakes of their amazing strawberry shortcake for the guests. Everyone loved it!

We heard about Blue Crab Cupcakes through our venue. For our tasting, they gave us a mini cupcake of every flavor. It was hard to narrow down which flavors we wanted to have at our wedding. We ended up choosing Chocolate fudge, Vanilla vanilla, strawberry, and snickerdoodle. Our guests raved about these cupcakes. We also purchased a small cake to cut. It was beautiful, delicious, and allowed us to add the traditional cake cutting to our reception. From the start, the people we worked with at Blue Crab very helpful and flexible. If you want mouth watering cupcakes, I would order from Blue Crab today!

I have been to countless weddings, as well as worked weddings, and never have I seen what I saw on our wedding day.... EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF CAKE WAS EATEN!!! We got vanilla raspberry and lemon blueberry and I honestly am not sure which flavor was better. The cake was moist, didn't have too much icing, the design of our cake looked exactly like the picture, and I thought they were very affordable. I will definitely be going back for birthdays and other events to get cupcakes and cakes!

Blue Crab Cupcakes did the cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they were amazing! I can't even count how many of our guests told us they were the best cupcakes they ever had. People who I know don't really eat dessert were going back for seconds. We did an assortment of cupcake flavors and then small red velvet cake to cut (which was my personal favorite, the icing is to die for!).

These cupcakes are amazing!! Every flavor is delicious and they were gone so quickly at our wedding. We also got a small wedding cake here which was surprisingly delicious as well. You can’t go wrong with this vendor!

We hired Blue Crab Cupcakes for our wedding on 10/23/21 in Stevensville, MD. We ordered a small cake for us to cut and mini cupcakes for our guests. Blue Crab was so easy to work with and all of their flavors are absolutely AMAZING. We hadn’t even cut the cake yet and had several guests come up to us saying we better get cupcakes soon because they were almost gone. We watched people walk away from the cake table with handfuls of cupcakes saying how delicious they all were! (Luckily, our venue hadn’t put them all out, so there were actually still plenty left for everyone.) The cake they created was exactly what we asked for and so beautiful. We visited several times leading up to the wedding to try out different flavors, as well as other desserts besides cupcakes, and every single thing we’ve tried is amazing! We highly recommend Blue Crab Cupcakes!

Blue Crab Cupcakes came recommended by our event coordinator. After learning which bakery our event coordinator would use, we went to the shop and sampled the cupcakes. Then we had our wedding cake at our mini-reception. All-in-all, I found the cakes too sweet. The layers of our cake were not even, nor was the filling. I definitely recommend checking out the shop and trying the cakes before booking.

I can't recommend Blue Crab Cupcakes enough!! The wedding cake for my daughter's wedding was gorgeous and delicious!! We went with two flavors (Red Velvet and Snickerdoodle) and it was so good. We also decided to have 5 different flavors of mini cupcakes and we are so glad we did. When I tell you they were a hit, that is an understatement. Our guest were going back for seconds and thirds and at the end of the night they were lucky enough to take the leftovers home in the provided travel boxes. Working with Carrie was awesome. We had to postpone the wedding twice and she couldn't have been more flexible. On the day of the wedding she worked with our planner and arrange delivery of our cake to the venue about an hour away. We are so glad we chose Blue Crab Cupcakes and we would do it again in a heart beat. We made a special trip the weekend after the wedding to get more cupcakes, they were that good!

Delicious and beautiful! You will have a tough time deciding which flavors to pick for your cake or cupcakes because they are all that good! From the initial taste testing I knew we had to have Blue Crab dessert at our wedding it was just figuring how much to have to make sure we still got to selfishly take some home! Carrie and her team blew every other bakery we visited out of the water in both taste and presentation and our friends still talk about how good the mini cupcakes were and how many they had when they were there…people who never eat wedding cake tried every flavor and went back for more! I tell all my friends to get their cakes and cupcakes not just for weddings but for every family event and you should too! Don’t hesitate in choosing Blue Crab they will surpass your expectations!

Carrie and her team did our wedding cake and mini cupcakes and they were FABULOUS!!! Incredibly delicious cake and guests raved about the flavors and how light and fluffy the cupcakes were. The team also did the drop off and cake stand rentals for our event and they made it SO easy for me as a bride without a wedding planner. And, they were the perfect fit for our budget. We’re so happy we had some leftovers so we could freeze and enjoy later!!!

Carrie at Blue Crab Cupcakes is amazing! She and her staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful when we were first planning our wedding. I cannot express how much I appreciated her flexibility and support when we were forced to postpone due to the pandemic. She assured us that she could adjust our order based on a much smaller guest list and easily transferred our contract to two new dates. The cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious! All of our guests raved about them and wanted to know where they could purchase more. Luckily, we live close enough to frequent the bakery and have always been impressed by all the amazing treats. We will use Blue Crab for all our bakery needs in the future!

We got a 3-tier cannoli cake from Blue Crab & it was phenomenal! As a bride who taste-tested & visited about 5-6 bakeries in the area to decide on cake, I can tell you GO WITH BLUE CRAB! They are so responsive & were accommodating when we downsized our guest list during Covid, & always answered any questions and concerns quickly. Everyone loved the cake so much, we brought the leftovers out during 9am breakfast the next morning & it was GONE! Blue Crab Cupcake will not disappoint!

The cupcakes are amazing and the set up was great! Just note that if you use there stuff you have to return it to them within a few days which with their temporary hours makes it slightly tricky. All in all an amazing vendor!

Don't let the shop name fool you..this place makes absolutely beautiful cakes..and they taste good too! We worked with Blue Crab for our wedding that was supposed to be in June, was postponed to August, and now unfortunately recently cancelled. Through all of us they were flexible and accommodating. They gave us back our deposit in the form of a gift card which we will happily use! Their cupcakes/cakes are the best tasting I've honestly ever had. Every flavor I tried I loved and we often get their cupcakes for other special events anyways so it was a no brainer to use them.

Blue Crab Cupcakes did a wonderful job with their mini-cupcakes for our wedding. They have a wonderful selection of flavors, our favorite was snickerdoodle. We also asked for a small snickerdoodle cake that we could cut and it came out exactly the way we wanted and tasted delicious. Blue Crab Cupcakes delivered everything to our venue on time and set up the display, with everything looking amazing. Our guests loved the cupcakes! We thought that their price point was very reasonable for the high quality cupcakes and wedding cake that we received.

Once my fiance and I tasted Blue Crab Cupcakes, we were sold! We loved how our guests had a wide variety (6 different flavors) of cupcakes. From the moment we sat down and tasted these cupcakes we were sold. Carrie is truly a cupcake mastermind and Blue Crab is such an easy team to work with. We did a s'mores wedding cake, disguised appropriately and it was drool worthy. We love popping into the shop anytime we are in the area, they are such a lovely crew. Absolutely recommend.

My fiance and I didn't want to do a traditional cake that you cut and shove into each other's mouths at our wedding. We wanted gourmet, pop one in your mouth and get back to the dancefloor mini cupcakes. And that's exactly what Blue Crab Cupcakes gave us. First of all - let me start by saying that I was totally blown away by the fact that they let you do a complimentary tasting of all of the different cupcake flavors / styles in their little back room of their bakery. I honestly think I ate 100 cupcakes in that tasting along with my fiance and father-in-law. It was such a nice touch and really shows how much they care about the couple making their decision. The cupcakes are SO. GOOD. They have so many different flavors and they are all designed so cute. People at our wedding RAVED about them. I also loved that people could easily pop them into their mouth and keep partying vs. having to sit down and eat a full dessert meal. Also, Blue Crab Cupcakes lets you use unlimited set-up rentals for their cupcakes as well for a small flat-fee. They will set it up if you'd like for a fee too! I'm so glad we went with Blue Crab and will definitely be buying more of their cupcakes just for fun in the future too :) Thanks, Carrie!

Blue crab cupcakes is the best! Our cake presentation was beautiful! We got both a cake (my husband wanted a topper) and cupcakes. We got so many compliments on the flavors and the presentation. Only issue I have is we ordered too many and have been eating them for a week! They are so delicious. I highly recommend the raspberry, lemon blueberry, and s’mores! You can not go wrong with Blue Crab Cupcakes!

We couldn't have asked for better desserts for our wedding day! I highly recommend working with Blue Crab Cupcakes! From the planning process, where we met with them and sampled 12+ flavors, to the communication up until the wedding day, to them setting up the cupcakes and cake, everything was absolutely perfect! We loved working with Blue Crab cupcakes for our June 15, 2019 wedding! We had a cupcake tasting before hiring them, where we tasted tons of cupcakes! They even had vegan options for our vegan guests! They provided beautiful tiers that we were able to use for our event, and a gorgeous sign outlining their flavors. Working with Blue Crab was fantastic, they were extremely responsive and professional. Everything ran smoothly and everyone liked the cupcakes! Follow them on instagram - they are always posting very cute designs that they are creating!!

My decision to go with Blue Crab Cupcakes and Carrie’s team was the best of my wedding. The guests loved them! Many were from out of town and could not believe how something so little could taste so delicious. From the start the ordering process was easy and enjoyable. We decided to go with the mini cupcakes and a small cake to cut for the wedding. Carrie offers delivery and setup for a small fee. It was totally worth it. Not only was the setup beautiful butt guests could not stop eating them. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

This is THE BEST of THE BEST! They have mastered the flavors of cupcakes. Order twice as many as you need. ..they fly off the table and if there's any to take home..it's a bonus!!! The rice crispy pops are so fun and great for parties as well ...thank you terrific blue Crab crew!

One of the biggest hits of the whole wedding! We were on the upper end of what was recommended in terms of cupcake order (4 dozen large, 8 dozen mini), but nearly ran out because they were so popular. There was a small plate that made it to the bartenders after the reception, but that was it in terms of leftovers. Communication was strong throughout the process; we realized we were running up to the end of the timeline and called them just before they were going to call us. Honestly, this was the only cupcakery we actually looked at. We had Georgetown in mind as another option, but given the proximity of Blue Crab to us, they made more sense. Also we were blown away by the flavors they offered, including lemon blueberry (which was one of my childhood favorite dessert combinations!), salted caramel, key lime, and snickerdoodle. Everything was good enough that we even took a risk on cannoli as a large cupcake flavor and our cutting cake without trying it - we meant to but kept forgetting to go by. The size of the cutting cake took us aback a little bit, because it was about twice as tall as I think we were expecting, but once we got it cut it was delicious. Order more than you think you need because they’re so good!

Carrie and her team are amazing!!! Everyone raved about the cupcakes and cake pops we had at our wedding! The process was super easy. We met once in person (but can do over the phone if needed), to go over some details. We told her our flavors we wanted literally a couple weeks before the wedding. A while back she told us the options for cake flavors, but we really wanted carrot cake, and she was able to make it for us! Her and her team are so talented and flexible, they can make anything you want happen! We ran out of cupcakes because they were just that good! Everyone loved them!

Blue Crab Cupcakes was amazing to work with from taste, to cost, to professionalism, to punctuality and more. We had the most personalized tasting, where Carrie recommended we select a variety of fruity to chocolately flavors in regular and mini sizes to please guest preferences. She was flexible and said if we changed our minds closer to the date just to let her know, which was nice since everything is planned so far ahead of time. She was professional and had everything set up on the big day perfectly and early! Deciding to use cupcakes instead of cake was one of the best decisions we made. We used a small Whole Foods cake so we could still cut one, but our guests raved about the cupcakes and they didn't break the bank. We used Blue Crab Cupcakes for the Engagement Party and Bridal Shower as well and will never use anyone else! They are amazing and Carrie is a joy to work with!
