Julie was the absolute best! She is incredibly organized and willing to help with every detail (she even helped review our timeline for the big day)!! Julie was so professional, prompt and easy to work with! Tom, who was our videographer on our wedding day, was phenomenal. He was there early to set up, wanting to catch all the special moments throughout the day. Tom was amazing at communicating with us and even followed behind our bus to capture moments downtown before heading to the reception. I can’t say enough about this fantastic group!!

Blue Skies work is AMAZING! Julie and Chris really do go above and beyond for your big day to make it less stressful and bring a calming sense with them. Our video did take exactly 16 weeks to be delivered to us but it was worth the wait! Blue Skies was perfect. Highlights: - flexible & personal - they took the time to get to know us and help plan the day, without being too much or intrusive - quality of our videos - we love them. We got the highlight reel, a 45 min produced video and extra footage. It’s the perfect way to remember our day - they captured both the people and the venue/ambiance in a way that pictures can’t. - value - we didn’t want to spend a ton on the videographer, and they were priced fairly (and for what we got, it’s incredible!)

Excellent. Filmed our genuine selves and didn’t film a movie, but filmed OUR love story. Turn around time was amazing. They’re hilarious and even though videographers are optional, after working with Blue Skies I feel like they are essential in capturing your most precious wedding moments.

I found Blue Skies at the Columbus Bridal show last year with my mom, and watching their amazing wedding videos play in the background caught our eye. I searched all over Orlando and Tampa for a solid videographer for three months! Then I saw my coworkers wedding video from Blue Skies and I was blown away. Julie and Chris are a power team! They traveled to Maine for our destination wedding to capture the most beautiful footage of the scenery and the love between my husband and I. They were able to put together a short video clip (within a month) to recap all of the special moments during our wedding day for our guests to watch during our reception back home. Our guests are STILL talking about it and I'm guilty of watching it at least once a day! :) Julie and Chris are professional and loving and truly truly care about their bride/groom and their families. They traveled to Bar Harbor Maine for the wedding and put a video together to show at the reception a month later so our guests could see the first looks, wedding ceremony and the awesome scenery. Only one word to describe this truly remarkable company... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! My entire family has used this company for their weddings! My Mom passed away three years ago, before she passed my sister was married. My Mom loved this company and seeing /hearing her in my sister’s wedding video is something that I will always hold close to my heart. My Father is older and there is no question that I chose Blue Skies to capture yet again incredible everlasting moments. Blue Skies also put together a step by step timed itinerary that made it SO easy for me to communicate with all my vendors!! Blue Skies not only filmed our wedding, but saved us from what would have been a disaster. Our limo had no air conditioning and my sister was pregnant (almost to her due date) AND it was the hottest day of the year! Blue Skies put forth a lot of effort communicating with the limo company and we ended up riding in an updated Limo with air conditioning!! Blue Skies HD did an incredible job on our wedding video. In our meeting prior to the wedding, they took the time to really get to know me to ensure our wedding video would be reflective of our personalities. I was introduced to Blue Skies at my sister's wedding six years ago and I remember being impressed. For my wedding, I met with Julie one of the owners. Julie is amazing. She is not only highly experienced in wedding videos, but also is extremely experienced in weddings, in general. Julie videoed my wedding and I met Chris, the other owner the day of my wedding-he clearly knew what he was doing and I didn't notice Blue Skies was there other than when they first arrived. During our photography session after the ceremony, my photographer was not helpful at all in figuring creative positions and photos to take. But Blue Skies knew how to position us and my still photographer literally took photos of us while he let Blue Skies direct. Thank goodness I hired an experienced videographer! My photos are not the best, but I went cheap and hired a photographer who has only been in business for four years. There is something to be said for hiring vendors who have done a TON of weddings. We love our wedding video! Blue Skies provided us with a true documentary of our wedding day which we will cherish forever. We did have a few small issues-My husband and I had a specific plan for our first look because we didn't like the videos of the bride being right behind the groom and tapping him on the shoulder. We felt like the groom couldn't get a good look at the bride's dress that way. When I shared our idea, I felt like I got push back. I wanted to do the same with my dad but it wasn't done. Nonetheless, we have an amazing video to share with our family and friends, and we were very happy to work with Blue Skies.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Julie and Chris were amazing and on top of everything. They were able to capture so many parts of our wedding and the video will be something we will watch. Julie also took the time to help us do the entire timeline for our wedding, which was awesome because we had NO clue what we were doing with that. Blue Skies is totally worth the money we paid! Videographers are typically something that most couples just cannot stomach spending the money on when their wedding budget is already so tight. Julie and Chris really worked with my husband and I to pick a package that was perfect for us, and really helped make capturing our day seamless. Julie and Chris live in Westerville, so they were easy to coordinate schedules with to meet to hear more about their business. We immediately clicked, Julie was so organized and professional. Chris actually shot our wedding day and he was absolutely perfect for us. His low-maintenance personality really made us slow down and enjoy our day. He captured some of the most amazing moments in such a special way. They were able to get us our wedding video almost exactly 10 weeks from our wedding date; they expected 8-16 weeks, so they were incredibly timely!! They are just such a great duo together and they were so reasonably priced and flexible with payments toward the final cost. You cannot go wrong with them!!

I hired Blue Skies over a year in advance for my April 8, 2017 wedding, and thank goodness I booked them early because they were easily the BEST vendor of the day. I originally met with Julie, one of the owners of Blue Skies (they are husband and wife owned) and Julie's attention to detail was amazing. They have shot over 950 weddings, and they know so much information not only about weddings, but about vendors, venues, still photographers, wedding planners and coordinators-- was so nice having someone experienced on my side. I was able to call them anytime before, and after the wedding, and they were always cheerful and willing to help. On the day of the wedding, my band was having technical issues with their microphones, and Blue Skies was able to use their video microphones in place of the bands microphones. I could not believe how beautiful my wedding video was when I got it back. Blue Skies was THE BEST investment overall from my wedding and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a solid wedding vendor and a solid wedding videographer.

Wow. Where to begin. I first met the Blue Skies Owners, Julie and Chris, at my best friend's wedding in 2012 where she hired them to shoot her wedding. Since then, 9 of my friends have used Blue Skies with the most positive compliments. I love that each of my friend's videos are different from one another, yet all so pretty. I met with Julie in August 2015 for my September 2016 wedding (warning: they book 12+ months in advance!!!) and Julie is amazing. What a walking book of knowledge everything wedding! The Blue Skies videos are BEYOND BEAUTIFUL. The shooting is perfect. The editing is perfect. They didn't miss a moment of our day. Our wedding video is absolutely fantastic! I think they used a magical lens, because we look quite nice ;) !!!! I've watched it a few times already since getting it 2 weeks ago (our wedding date was 9/5/15), and I squeal like a little kid, laugh, clap, and beam from ear to ear every time at several different moments throughout. They artfully put our song selections to the highlight reel and different times of the whole videography. They are very easy to work with, and always got back to my questions ultra fast. I like the different angles from the video, and the overall high quality of how it was edited and put together!!!

As the groom, my only jobs were to find a DJ and hire a videographer. I was in a wedding last July where they hired Blue Skies Video and that's where I met Chris, one of the owners. He suggested I set up a meeting and a few months later after I proposed to Amber, I called Blue Skies and talked with Julie. We met with Julie about two weeks later and she was amazing. She knew way too much about our church and venue, plus, she was the preferred videographer at both. She showed us a ton of videos and then I thought she would be too much money. When she went through the packages, I was pleasently surprised at how afforable Blue Skies is yet they have all the latest stuff (flying cameras, HD cameras, etc.). I was amazed. We gave Julie a deposit that night. Our wedding was amazing except our still photographer was a complete idiot. He kept asking us questions about pictures and then looking at his iphone for "inspiration". In fact, he was stealing images from other photographers. When I asked him why we wasn't just shooting our wedding and goign with the flow, he said that every picture had to be perfect or it wasn't worth his time. Blue Skies on the other hand was amazing. Julie shot us at the State House and then we went to the Park The Of Roses and Julie was laying on the ground, was using US as her inspiration and was trying her best to help our still photographer. At this point, the still photographer was playing with his batteries. Needless to say, our video was AMAZING. Our still photos were horrible. We asked Blue Skies is they had any images they could share with us for our photo album and they were kind enough to send several photos over from the video they had taken. Amazing service. Blue Skies didn't have to help us, but they did and I am so grateful Blue Skies was at my wedding. Easily the best investment of the day!!

I knew I wanted video. I had it in my budget from the start. I interviewed SIX different videographers and Blue Skies (I met with Julie) was easily my favorite. Julie's energy and knowledge were impressive to start, but then I saw their videos and I was BLOWN away! They have really good cameras, which I knew nothing about until I met with Julie. They were not those DSLR/still photographer cameras. Blue Skies has done a ton of weddings. I met with Julie early on in the process. it was a wake up call. This lady knows what she is doing. I was at ease with her. As a bride with little input other than picking my groom :) she was able to give me direction. Her and her team worked so well together with our other vendors, in particular our photographer. The results were phenomenal. ALl of the things you expect, they nailed and they went above and beyond so many times. she even carries bobby pins for emergency's amongst other things. the quality of our video is spectacular. they had cameras everywhere and nothing was missed. I would imagine all videographers on the knot are good. If you want someone who will put you at ease and you know will give you the best possible video, this is the team. Chris and Julie where are videographers almost one year ago. I think I got caught up in the post wedding activities and totally forgot to write a review initially! I had the pleasure of working with HD Blue Skies (Julie and Chris) as my wedding videography team and they are truly best in class!
