Kristin is truly magical at what she does! Our wedding photos are so incredible, it’s as if we relive our special day every time we look at them! She is a blessing! Kristin was so kind and helpful. Aside from photography things, she advised me on other wedding stuff and gave me ideas! I loved that she was very direct in her approach when taking the photos that day. She told everyone exactly what to do and where to go and how to pose! My husband and i are both very indecisive so we LOVED her! I can’t recommend her enough! HIRE KRISTIN! She was amazing from start to finish. I planned our wedding in San Antonio from Western NY. Planning from afar was challenging, but Kristin was available to help every step of the way. She even answered general wedding questions that weren't specific to photography. She truly went above and beyond to help make the process go smoothly for us. On the day of our wedding Kristin was professional and kind. She was able to communicate in a way that was direct and got the job done, but also made our family/friends feel comfortable with her. She had great ideas that helped captured our day perfectly. The finished photos are BEAUTIFUL. They truly captured who we are. Kristin was amazing! We decided to not do separate first look photos, so we had a small window to fit all the pictures in before the sun went down. Kristin promptly arrived and got straight to work. I think we even ended up in the wrong room from what she previously suggested, and she did not complain and made it work. Sorry Kristin lol! She was directive, professional, and super nice. My husband and I both are people who don’t know what to do with our hands in pictures, but with her direction, we had amazing pictures! We are so happy and I am always looking at them. The only issue is: I can’t pick which pictures to print up for our walls because I’m so happy with them all! We hired a videographer from another company, and they helped each other through the whole process. It was as if they worked together before. I really felt that Kristin loves what she does and was doing everything in her power to capture every memory she possibly could. Thank you Kristin!

Krisitn was amazing!! I had been planning my wedding since May 2020 and we got married Oct 2021.Through the whole process Kristin was one of the vendors that I did look forward to! She was also one of the ones I booked right away, I knew we had to have her. Our engagement and wedding photos are so beautiful. Kristin creates quality work and you are getting an excellent service. I always get compliments on how great the photo quality is. I HIGHLY Recommend! You will not regret!

Gosh - I have NO idea where to start. I guess I will start with how I met Kristin. We met in 2019 when we were originally planning our wedding. Photography was THE most important aspect of our wedding, and we made sure to communicate that to her. She met me at a local Starbucks, and I immediately knew that I'd be booking her for our June 2020 wedding. She is SO personable, funny, professional, and it felt like she was family. We got everything booked, got my bridal session booked, and then...the pandemic hit. She SO graciously offered to re-book us for a new date, that was AN ENTIRE YEAR later, and did it SO kindly. We got bridal portraits and everything set up with new dates. When we found out (upon arriving to the location) that our location was unavailable for bridal portraits, we moved and found a spot. The photos were PHENOMENAL. I cannot give her enough praise. On to the wedding day: Kristin arrived not only on time, but a few minutes early to start her day. It was what felt like 1000 degrees out there that day, and everyone was just MELTING. She absolutely KILLED it out there in the heat - and we got a couple of photos the next morning, and you cannot even tell that were soaked in sweat. Wedding dress and all. She helped with bustling my dress, yes, even through the sweat. She dabbed my face, and was so patient while dealing with the heat. We haven't even received our full gallery yet, but I already know that if it's going to be anything like the bridal session, I will be a very, very happy bride. I'm super happy to know that she not only does weddings, but family photos as well. We will be clients for life.

Where do I even begin? Kristin is everything I wanted in my wedding photographer and more. On the day of, she directed us every step of the way and paid attention to the smallest details to make sure she got the best shots. She even bustled my dress when my maid of honor was struggling with it (in no time, too! She is such a pro.) She was kind and made us all feel comfortable, but she was also super quick and efficient so we weren't all stuck lingering outside in the sun. I was even impressed by how she handled my three dogs being in the wedding. A lot of photographers tend to get frustrated with dogs really quickly, but she didn't. And she got some really amazing shots of them, which is no small feat because they are completely opposing colors, which makes them difficult to photograph together at all. I got my photos back today (in only four weeks; I expected it to take longer), and I am absolutely blown away by how beautiful they are. So many amazing moments captured — honestly, I'm speechless. I can't even put into words how grateful I am for these photos and for Kristin. Hire her, you won't regret it.

Kristen is an absolutely phenomenal photographer. She shot both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and they are nothing short of perfection. More than that, she is the sweetest human being! We were very nervous about not knowing how to pose for our engagement session, but our fears quickly melted away when we realized Kristen is INCREDIBLY experienced, efficient, and can make even the most unphotogenic people feel comfortable and look stunning. Photography is one of the most important aspects of a wedding, and after our engagement session, I immediately knew I could trust Kristen with our big day; and she didn’t miss a beat. She captured every moment of our wedding perfectly, which is incredible with only one shooter. She was assertive in the best way and helped us stay with our timeline. She then delivered our amazing photos extremely quickly. Everyone I’ve shown our photos to has been blown away with how beautiful they are. Kristin is amazing!!! I had to over complicate things because I wanted my bridal portraits with my horse. She went above and beyond in getting the best photos! From helping with the dress, to literally providing a leg up to get on my horse. She has an amazing talent for catching the light and is honest with you about your pose so you can be your best you in the photos! 10/10 would recommend! I did the bridal, engagement and wedding day package. I wish there were more events just to get to spend the time with her! The photos are such an important piece of the memories, I know for sure that mine are safe with her!

Kristin did a phenomenal job. My husband are I are usually fairly awkward behind the camera and not very photogenic so we were nervous about how our wedding photos would look, but our they came out stunning! Throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding she was very responsive to emails and answered all my questions. When I was looking to book a photographer, she stood out to me in the very beginning. Most photographers would show their portfolio that would have a few great photos from multiple different weddings they had done, but Kristin showed me a wedding she had photographed at my venue in the past. She showed me the entire album which proved to me that all her pictures would be great, not just a handful. She also got our final wedding pictures to us way ahead of the original projected time, which was an awesome surprise!

We loved Kristin since the first day we saw her photos. Kristin was amazing at our wedding. From the beginning she gave us tons of info about what we could expect from her. We were only able to meet with her once in person before the big day, but she came out to the venue with us and was full of good ideas - and even had some great input on things like the cake and decorations. On the day of, she was able to corral all of our extended families so efficiently, so my husband and I got to spend as much time as possible enjoying ourselves. The candid shots from the reception are so fun, and Kristin did a great job getting photos of everyone on the dance floor. We got many comments from our friends/families along the lines of "Man, your photographer really knows what she's doing." Kristin went above and beyond! From the first meeting my now husband and I knew that she was the photographer for us! Our engagement photos came out beautifully and she worked so well with us. We were under a time crunch but she was never pushy. She laughed with us and made the day go by very smoothly. When we were a month away from the wedding I had a mini crisis where I thought I was gonna need to look for a new florist, decorator, linens, and event coordinator (my vendor was all inclusive) and she went above her responsibilities just to make sure I had a back up plan! The moment I contacted Kristin, I knew she was the one. I had called other photographers and didn't get the same feel I did with her. From the bridal photos, to the day of the wedding (which included the hashtag station), to receiving my pictures, I am SO incredibly pleased to have the precious memories that she captured to relive the best day of my life! Beyond disappointed in my bridal portraits and our wedding day photos. Kristen was bossy and rude to us and our guests. She showed up dressed completely unprofessional and looked noticeably upset to where our friends and family asked us what was wrong with our photographer? She never posed us properly and took awkward unflattering photos of us. We only have maybe one or two pictures that are decent looking, the rest are terrible. My husband and I are even thinking of redoing our wedding photos because honestly we don’t think ours are even good enough to put in our pretty wedding picture frames. We haven’t printed any because they’re not even worth displaying. We even have video tape of her abruptly dragging a small child off the dance floor because “he was in her way” (the child was my cousin who is deaf so he couldn’t hear her telling him to move) it breaks my heart that we have no beautiful photos of our wedding to look back on and cherish. We feel so betrayed because when we met with her she showed us really nice pictures of previous weddings she had done and she assured us that she would pose us and take care of everything and we believed her. She defiantly tricked us into thinking she was the best. I regret hiring her and allowing her to work with us on our wedding day. You only get one wedding and I’m still so deeply depressed that our pictures came out that bad

Kristin was our photographer for every special moment leading up to our wedding. She captured our engagement, and provided a beautiful bridal shoot. My wife and I just got married almost 2 months ago and Kristin was there to capture every moment. The moments and memories that we will have for a lifetime, the moments that my wife and I can one day sit on the couch and laugh about, the moments that if not captured by photography may one day be lost in time as we get older. I really thought I was going to be giving a 5 Star review based on other reviews but unfortunately I am not. The pictures that were taken turned out good but there were a lot that weren’t taken (I.e. grooms face as bride walks down aisle). I guess I should have made a list of everything I wanted photographed and given it to her but Kristin said she didn’t need one so I took her word. If you’re planning a wedding, I would suggest having two photographers instead of one to make sure you get all the pictures that you want and then some. I definitely do not feel like we got our moneys worth. :(

One of the first vendors I sought out after we got engaged was our photographer. I stumbled upon Bluefire Photography and fell in love with her work. When I met with Kristin personally, I knew I wanted her! I even picked my wedding date around what she had available for the month we were looking at. Kristin is extremely personable and she genuinely wants you to love your pictures. She did our engagement photos in what seemed like 100 degrees and full humidity. The curl in my hair completly fell and it was getting frizzy! Kristin helped me pull up my hair into a cute ponytail so I could at least finish the session. I thought to myself that I would probably hate all of our pictures due to the humidity, the sweat, and my hair! Before we left, she showed me some shots and I knew there were some great ones! I was very pleased when those came back. I couldn't wait to make our Save the Dates! I was so stressed out on my wedding day, and she made me feel right at ease. She is fully able to direct all the people in the pictures and she doesn't just settle for a shot that is mediocre. She will keep shooting until she gets it right! I love that she isn't afraid to get down and dirty for an awesome picture. Several times in our sessions she would lay on the ground shooting up, which created some amazing pictures. In short, her work is stellar. But not only that, I found her very affordable compared to other area photographers I priced! I could not wait to get the photos back from my big day, and I absolutely loved them. Bluefire Photography captured the biggest day of my life, and I couldn't be more happy with that decision. It was important to us that we didn't spend a lot of time taking posed pictures on our wedding day, and she captured so many amazing ones very efficiently. After looking at her website, I loved her work and wanted to book her regardless, but when I came to look at the price I was so surprised at how reasonable she is. I think it's incredible value for such an excellent service and end product. When I was getting dressed, we had some difficulty trying to get my dress to sit just right, and she even helped us to sort that out. All the guests loved her, too!
