Even with the limited time from when we hired him to when he shot our wedding, he took the time to get to know us, what we loved, and our unique story. The day of the wedding he showed up early and made sure to always be available. He captured everything we talked about and more. Additionally, my photographer ended up being terrible and didn't get pictures of our first dances. en times, my now how husband and I decided to throw tradition to the wind, cancel our larger wedding plans and elope. As we began the process of trying to decide on exactly what we wanted our wedding day to look like in this new and unfamiliar territory, the topic of videographers began to come to our attention, and we realized that this was something that we wanted to move forward with. A couple of quick google searches later we came across Bright Birch Films website and saw some of the incredibly personal, intimate, and beautiful films for couples in situations just like ours. We sent Bryan an email and almost immediately got a reply with all the information we needed to help us make our decision. We were able to work with Bryan to create a package that suited our needs and covered all the pieces of the day we felt needed to be covered (getting ready, first look, ceremony, & exploration post wedding). Leading up to the day we had meetings discussing our plans and expectations for the day and the feel we were looking for which made this out of state couple feel even more comfortable leading up to the big day. For the day of Brian captured our time together in the morning prior to heading to the mountains, our ceremony, and the rest of the afternoon as we explored Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoyed our time as Newlyweds. Not only did Brian do an incredible job capturing our day, but he was a great friend, and we were grateful to have him be a part of our day as a guest as well as a videographer. The first time we were able to watch our video together, we felt as if we were right back in those moments and will cherish his work for the rest of our lives. Our friends, families, and extended circles continue to rave about how beautiful the video and teaser were and how they felt as if they were getting a window into our intimate day. Bryan was very flexible and went along with our crazy ideas. He was very respectful throughout the whole ceremony, and never did we feel pressured or rushed to get to the next location to shoot video. He’s very easy going, you’ll barely know he’s there filming you, but he still knows how to work and communicate with the photographer, wedding planners, and venue coordinators to achieve the shots needed. We received a 30 second preview very soon after our event and I must have watched it 30 times in the first hour. I wasn’t prepared for how emotional I would get when I looked back on that day, especially given the music selection! The full video was so beautifully constructed and captured both the big moments but also the smaller details that I was so looking forward to seeing. grapher and I can attest to the fact that videographers can make or break a wedding. At one time I worked for a company that used one of the owners as a videographer. He was terrible, the absolute worst. He was constantly in the couples face or in the guests faces, he was loud and obnoxious and made the entire event about him and how great he was (which he was not). In the end many couples hated their video or never received it at all. The reason for this story is to highlight everything that is amazing about Bryan. He is the exact opposite of this man. He was so sweet and at the most important parts he was quiet and in the background but still on top of it at the same time. I felt that I could trust that he was capturing everything that was important to me because he consulted with me beforehand. My guests loved him, he worked well with the photographers and employees at the venue. Everything about him was exactly what you need out of a videographer, even if you don't know it yet. The best part was the finished product. Not only was it delivered quickly but Bryan is a true artist and you will end up with a gorgeous vide highlighting everything special about your day. I wanted my 85 year old grandfather to have a role in the video so we asked him to do the voice over and narrate the video. Bryan recorded my grandfather on the day of the wedding and overlaid his voice so beautifully. I can’t speak more highly of Bryan’s professionalism, attention to detail and talent! As the memories of our special day begin to fade, we look back on our video and can feel the love, laughter, happiness and fun had by our family and dearest friends.
