It has taken us a few months to write a proper review of Buckley Photography’s work because frankly, what they did for us is difficult to put into words. We planned our wedding from nearly 2,000 miles away in 3 months and felt so lucky they were available because they were our first choice. It helped that we got married on a Thursday! A few weeks before the wedding, Jenevieve met with us over the phone to go over every last detail so that they could plan for all the shots. Her expertise was so evident and reassuring during a stressful time. It was clear that she had done many weddings and knew exactly what to do- she thought of everything! On our wedding day, Jenevieve and Nick worked their magic seamlessly with grace and poise. They got *all* the shots we could’ve dreamed of and then some -and they were so personable it was easy to forget that we had just met. It’s been so challenging to find our “favorites” to put with thank you notes for our guests because we love all of the photos so much. It’s true that your day will fly by, but Jenevieve and Nick paused that special day and preserved it for us for forever. The results exceeded our expectations. As a husband-wife team, we can work together to capture every moment of your day. Together, we have over 25 years of wedding photography experience! We each started on our own several years ago, and our love for photography grew right along with our love for each other! We are true nerds in the industry, and nothing makes us happier than showing each other "the shot" we got at our latest photoshoot. But truly, our greatest joy in this line of work is meeting people who become legacy clients and watching their lives change and expand over the years. We love to travel, explore new locations, and meet new friends! Our packages include an engagement session, starter, deluxe, and all-inclusive bundle. These detail 4 to 8 hours of event coverage and 200-600 digital images. We can't wait to meet you!

Nick is our primary wedding photographer, with a background in people and being in the right place at the right moment! His ability to capture and document wedding days is incredible. He excels in stressful moments and is excellent at wrangling large wedding parties and arranging family wedding day pictures. He loves creating shots, getting to know your wedding party, and acapturing those aisle shots as seamlessly as a fly on the wall of your big day! He is also the editing behind Buckley photography and has spent many years developing his own Lr presets, and PS expertise.

Jenevieve is the personal touch to Buckley Photography. She has always been in the business of people and takes incredible joy in meeting people where they are at to make consulting, booking, and their big day as comfortable and smooth as it can be! She is equally as comfortable with camera in hand, and masterfully manages the more intimate shots for boudoir or couples sessions. For a wedding day she is the face you will talk with, meet with, text, email, and share your concerns with, as well as be the second shooter to Nick!

quality of the images were great. That said, a bit more direction during group photos would have made a big difference—especially guidance on where to stand so everyone could be clearly seen, and small adjustments like fixing the bride’s dress before shots. Those little touches would have elevated the experience even more.

I also told her that I probably wouldn't reach out until closer to the shoot date because I was busy with work and she respected my time and didn't bombard me with emails. The shooting day was so much fun! As two tall, long-limbed people, my fiance and I thought we would be awkward to pose, but Jen did a great job of getting us out of our shells and creating some cute playful shots. The best part is that all the photos are edited and you get access to all of them with no need to purchase them from a particular site. I absolutely loved working with Jen and the finished product that these two created together was well worth it!

d through their portfolio, I knew they were very good at what they do, so I reached out, asked some questions and got super excited when they confirmed they were available for my wedding date. TOTAL SCORE!!! I had never met the Buckleys before I hired them. But by the time my wedding was over and I got the photos, they felt like old friends. They have a love for photography that is contagious and they have a heart and skill for capturing and creating beautiful shots. I was an older bride, so I was worried none of the photos would look good because I was in them! Haha. But Nick just knew the best angles and his photos made me feel beautiful, and THAT takes SKILL. Nick got to the venue early. He captured so many things I never would have thought to capture. He didn’t just take pictures, he captured beautiful moments. He created a treasure trove of memories that will last a lifetime. The photos are more than just images. They capture the heart and meaning behind our wedding day. My photos take me back to that day and remind me of all the love that was there, not just between my husband and me, but also the love from all the people who came to celebrate with us. These photos are priceless. I am forever grateful. The Buckleys work hard. They are kind and patient. I was not a very organized bride. But they never complained, just rolled with it all. They are very good at what they do and even when they are crazy busy during wedding season, they still take pride in their work and do not cut corners. Their turn-around time was fast, but it was without compromising quality. I was grateful because I was naturally anxious to see the wedding photos! After the wedding, quite a few of my guests went out of their way to tell me how much they liked my photographer. You know they’re good when unsolicited compliments just naturally roll in. The pride of workmanship shows in every photo. The attention to detail is amazing. I have ZERO complaints. My timeline moved quickly and there was not a lot of time allotted for various photo ops, but you’d never know that by the way the photos turned out. Nick is VERY good at what he does. Thank you, Nick and Jen, for being amazing at what you do. I will forever be grateful that you captured my perfect day so perfectly. I wish you all the best, and to anyone considering them, trust me when I say, if they’re available for your date, SNAG them. I will recommend them to everyone I know who needs a photographer. onths, doing everything virtually as we don't live in Idaho), and we felt completely confident that Jen and Nick had our backs to make sure we could relax and enjoy our wedding. They helped us with every question imaginable and got us so organized ahead of time! Could not have asked for a better duo to tackle our list and keep us on track for deadlines, etc. We are so grateful, and our photos turned out GORGEOUS!! Plus I got some 1-1 time with Jen for my boudoir shoot for my wedding gift to my new husband - she made me feel incredibly supported, fierce and comfortable (which is not my usual level of confidence) during our photoshoot. Cannot thank her enough! Pro-tip: do your engagement shoot as well. This time together with my then-fiancé and Jen got us ready for our wedding day, as far as getting comfy in front of a camera together. Not only did we do engagement photos with them that we will likely use and love for years to come. Our wedding photos are beautiful and plentiful I don't know how so much could fit in one day and they could manage to be everywhere all at once. Our photos are beautiful, and I'm not just saying that because they are my photos. The colors are rich. These photos are well captured and a classy representation of our event. all leading up to the wedding day. They immediately put us at ease, I knew our day would be captured by very capable hands. On the wedding day itself, Nick was there right on schedule, and we were BLOWN AWAY by his ability to wrangle and organize our large, chaotic family. He was great with the kids, as well. Nick was very open and flexible to try things we wanted, and made the experience very organic and fun for the whole bridal party. I also want to note that he was very intent on making sure that my husband and I were catered to the most, and that our thoughts and desires were met above anyone or anything else that was going on around us. Things can be so stressful on wedding days, but I didn’t think twice about the pictures. They turned out so beautifully, and taking them was entirely painless. The turnaround for getting the pictures back was right on schedule and left nothing to be desired. We will treasure these memories for the rest of our lives, and have highly recommended this photographer to others having been recommended to them ourselves.
