We are so happy we chose BWeddings for our wedding day. Since my husband and I hand picked a lot of the vendors ourselves we elected to go with the Day of Love package which started 12 weeks prior to our wedding day and included the hotel room block assistance and as additional add-on. Barbara was able to help us negotiate our hotel room block within just a few days and in the 3 months leading up to our wedding her and her team took a lot of the stress away from our wedding planning and made it a very pleasant experience. On the day of the wedding everything was nothing short of flawless. It was everything we wanted and more. BWeddings team executed their timeline to perfection and set up the wedding decor in the way we wanted. They also went above and beyond with taking care of our personal items and bringing them to the hotel for us after the reception. I would recommend their team to anybody.

I am not sure what I would have done without Barbara and her assistant Julia. They both were incredible and invaluable leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Working with Barbara at Bweddings was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We had the pleasure of working with Barbara and her team to help with day of coordination for our wedding. As our big day got closer and closer we realized that we need to pull the trigger on a coordinator to assist with organizing and finalizing our day. My fiance and I tied the knot in Cabo, Mexico in January 2024 and we were so grateful to have Barbara along our side from day one. We are a bit unique, in that we originally planned to have our wedding in Chicago. We booked the venue, the DJ and almost booked the caterer when my mother unexpectedly passed away. Due to this, our original vision just didn't feel right. So after some discussion we decided to get married by the ocean as that is where I had spread the ashes of my mom and grandmother. We let Barbara know we were happy to pay off our contract with her and understand if she doesn't want to commit to planning our Cabo wedding but she didn't even hesitate and jumped right in! In the end she was incredibly helpful, especially the day of and even the day after (we had a flower issue and she got us a partial refund in addition to correcting as much as possible day of) She balanced our desires well, we wanted a view of the ocean but not a beach wedding and she made the whole look and feel very elevated. She did a great job providing her opinion and expertise but not pressuring when we shared ours. We weren't as traditional about our wedding and she respected that and made sure all of the special parts of the day went off perfectly! She made sure that even in another country our vision came to life and advocated for us when necessary! We couldn't have had the best weekend of our lives without her to make our vision was complete. Thank you to Barbara and would fully recommend her for local Chicago but also international weddings!

When my husband and I chose to have a destination wedding in Italy we knew that we had to find a wedding planner as soon as possible. Wow, where do I even start? Our wedding was in Lake Como, and we live in Chicago, so you can imagine the stress and chaos that comes with planning a destination wedding like that. I am the MOB and we had my daughter’s wedding last month. We knew from the get go that I was doing the decor and flowers, but wanted to be just the MOB the day of. We searched for a planner that would meet this request and are so happy to have decided on Barbara and her team. After our first interview with Barbara, we were impressed with her professionalism and understanding of what we were looking for. The husband’s perspective: Absolutely no regrets about working with Barbara. I was a bit leery when my fiancé wanted to hire a wedding planner, but as she was going to shoulder the brunt of the planning effort, I did not put up much of an argument. My husband and I realized that we needed day of support for our wedding and found Barbara -we are so happy that we did for a multitude of reasons! Barbara started providing "Day of" support very far in advance, coordinating a venue visit, collecting information from our vendors, and providing us with a template for day of activities that we didn't even realize we had to do! We were so lucky to have her because our venue contact ended up quitting less than one month before our wedding day, and many details to our ceremony and reception were lost when they left. We were devastated and extremely nervous that our wedding wouldn't go well. Fortunately, Barbara had taken such detailed notes that we were able to inform our new venue contact about all of the finer details (seating arrangements, ceremony set set up, etc.) that had gone "missing" and ended up having the most AMAZING wedding day! When Barbara started as a coordinator 12 weeks out from the wedding date it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. She coordinated the timeline and responsibilities with all our vendors, did a walk through with us at the wedding venue, and distributed all of the tips on the day of. I added on extra coverage for one of her assistants to gather all the personal items at the end of the night and put them in our hotel room, which I would 100% recommend; it allowed all our family to relax and enjoy the party instead of having to worry about a late-night responsibility. Barbara was a joy to work with. During a pandemic, in the dead of winter in Wisconsin, she created an event filled with warmth and style. The day went off without a hitch and Barbara was never without a smile for anyone that needed anything. We are so excited for this couple. They had quite a journey to get to their wedding, and now they have amazing memories to look back on. Barbara's artistry and hard work will be appreciated for years to come.

My partner and I met with several planners during the wedding planning process. Hands down, Barbara was our top choice among them. She came highly recommended from another vendor, and she has had vast experience in the field. In 2019, we hired her as our day-of-coordinator. Since then, she has been such an asset in working with our wedding vendors. Our vendors ranged in their experience working in the wedding industry. Some of our vendors required more hands-on support, which she provided. We had our original wedding scheduled for April 2020. As you can imagine with the pandemic, our plans were upended 4 weeks before the wedding date. Our wedding has been rescheduled 3 times now, and Barbara has been a phenomenal lifeline for my partner and me. She's been an advocate working with our venue, which hasn't been the most flexible in rescheduling. She has ensured that our vendors have our contracts rewritten for each postponement. She is a detail-orientated, communicative, and flexible planner. We are so excited to continue working with her for our final rescheduled wedding in January 2022.

Barbara did a phenomenal job planning our wedding and was extremely valuable to me on the day. I don’t know what I would have done without her. First and foremost, Barbara found us our perfect wedding venue; Armour House in Lake Forest, IL. She did extensive research and found us the perfect place that suited both of our British backgrounds; it was the perfect stately home setting with picturesque gardens. I just recently got married and had Barbara Vanni as our wedding planner. Her company has been fundamental in the fantastic outcome of our wedding. Bweddings took care not just of the logistic coordinating everyone and everything but it has also been a great emotional support to myself and my husband. Barbara was amazing. She was patient, kind, helpful, friendly and professional. She had a keen eye for the decor and as well as all other details. She has excellent taste. She was able to quickly readjust things the day of when anything went wrong all with great success and a calm pleasant manner. She was the calm in the storm of everyone’s little panics and anxieties.
