Barbara, the owner, is the kind of planner who gives you total confidence all will go well on your big day. After working with her for almost two years, I went into our wedding weekend feeling calm and assured — something I never imagined for myself as a self-proclaimed perfectionist. The night before the wedding, people kept asking if I was nervous, and I could honestly say I trusted Barbara and her team completely. Because of that, I was able to be fully present and actually enjoy the day, which is truly priceless.
Julia, Barbara’s assistant, went so far above and beyond it still amazes us. My husband forgot to check out of his separate hotel room the morning of the wedding. So, she meticulously checked him out of his room and transferred everything to our suite - not a single item was missed. Her care and attention to detail were unmatched.
Allana, the florist through Bweddings, was an absolute dream to work with. We revised our floral vision more than once. She met us with endless patience, creativity, and enthusiasm. She even troubleshot candelabras with my dad and thought ahead about every detail. stination wedding in Tuscany on September 11, 2025, and from start to finish, this team made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel calm, thoughtful, and genuinely joyful. We were married at Antica Fattoria di Paterno, with our guests staying at the sister property Massini in Empoli, and the logistics alone would have been daunting without their expertise.
Barbara was our constant and our anchor throughout the planning process. I often struggle with decision fatigue when faced with too many options. Barbara and the team were incredible at helping me make concise, confident decisions, guiding me toward what felt cohesive and meaningful, and reassuring me that it was okay to leave certain things out. Their ability to see the big picture while still caring deeply about the details was invaluable.
Having Anna based in Italy while we were in Chicago made an enormous difference. She helped us navigate all the Italian-specific details seamlessly, while Barbara bridged everything stateside, and Valentina supported every step along the way. Together, they functioned like a perfectly synchronized team.
They truly went above and beyond when it came to guest experience and last-minute problem solving. One of the highlights was our hands-on pizza party welcome event. When we later realized we had accidentally booked pizza two nights in a row, the team immediately jumped into action and arranged a new welcome dinner at La Ménagère in Florence on short notice. They also coordinated a last-minute bus shuttle to Florence for our guests, making the entire evening effortless and seamless. Even on the wedding day itself, when weather plans shifted, they handled final adjustments smoothly and without stress.
The flowers were absolutely jaw-dropping and easily one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding. I had my heart set on a lemon theme and they brought that vision to life beyond anything I could have imagined vibrant, elegant, and stunning.
Music and atmosphere were incredibly important to us, and they nailed it. We had a live harpist and cellist for the ceremony, which felt authentic and beautifully Italian, followed by a DJ for late night who brought nonstop energy.
The food was phenomenal from start to finish. We opted for a traditional Italian wedding cake, and every course was incredible. One personal (and nontraditional) must-have for me was an espresso martini tower; a nod to my love of making espresso martinis for friends. The team executed it flawlessly, pairing it with a gorgeous cold firework display during the cake cutting. To close out the night, a gelato cart arrived, which was the perfect ending and an absolute hit with our guests.
On the wedding weekend itself, everything felt effortless. I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment, knowing that every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and heart. Our guests still talk about how smooth, intimate, and magical the entire experience was.

Unfortunately, we did encounter a few issues with our venue, but Barbara handled them with ease and made sure that by the time they were brought to our attention, there was already a plan in place. She communicated effectively with each of our vendors to make sure that everyone was on the same page and provided us with a detailed checklist to keep ourselves on track.

So after some discussion we decided to get married by the ocean as that is where I had spread the ashes of my mom and grandmother. We let Barbara know we were happy to pay off our contract with her and understand if she doesn't want to commit to planning our Cabo wedding but she didn't even hesitate and jumped right in! In the end she was incredibly helpful, especially the day of and even the day after (we had a flower issue and she got us a partial refund in addition to correcting as much as possible day of) She balanced our desires well, we wanted a view of the ocean but not a beach wedding and she made the whole look and feel very elevated. She did a great job providing her opinion and expertise but not pressuring when we shared ours. We weren't as traditional about our wedding and she respected that and made sure all of the special parts of the day went off perfectly! She made sure that even in another country our vision came to life and advocated for us when necessary! We couldn't have had the best weekend of our lives without her to make our vision was complete. When we started planning, I questioned if we needed a coordinator (thinking I could do it all) but working with BWeddings was hands down our BEST decision! They took SO much work off our plate and made the last three months before our wedding so much more enjoyable. Plus, they handled absolutely everything the day of. We had a "venue coordinator" but it was critical to have additional help for set up/planning the other coordinator wasn't responsible for.

e brunt of the planning effort, I did not put up much of an argument. Barbara came recommended to us and she helped with nearly every detail of the wedding. Being able to trust the wedding planner was important to us because we were in a completely different time zone from where the wedding was to occur. No ask was off limits – she met with vendors, kept us on schedule, and even let us ship décor items for the big day to her house! My married guy friends prepared me for several stressful months of planning and preparing for this wedding with an over stressed better half but with Barbara’s help, it was honestly a smooth process. She saved us much anxiety and stress and her services were worth every penny!
