Cadey was chosen to be the photographer at my daughter’s wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the photography of the big day. She is definitely a master at her craft, and her photography is at a level not achieved by many other photographers.

Well to start off, Cadey is amazing. I have always loved her work and my husband knew that so when it came down to proposing he reached out to Cadey for help and let me tell you.. they planned the most perfect proposal EVER. Although is was windy and raining, the pictures turned out amazing and I still cry every time I see them. Not only did I get proposal pictures but we had an engagement session and it was so fun! Nothing is staged and it feels very natural, not to mention she is so funny and great to be around so the entire experience is amazing. Through the entire wedding planning process Cadey helped me with vendors, timeline for the day, drink menu, etc.. and I cannot tell you how unbelievably helpful that is especially when I was planning my wedding from 5 hours away. During the wedding day I was running behind but she was so organized, we knocked out all of the photos in time without feeling rushed and we didn't have to push the ceremony back at all. & of course all of images turned out AMAZING. To see how much Cadey cares about her clients is so refreshing, she truly wants you to have the best wedding day possible and will do anything to help make it perfect. Where to begin with Cadey? From the moment she got to our venue to the moment she left, she truly impressed and wowed us! Her team made our day go so smoothly; from helping me put my shoes on to making sure we didn't get rained on. She is beautiful from the inside out! Cadey Reisner and her photography hands could not be any better. When we were searching for our wedding photographer, we were looking at photos from weddings in the Black Hills from various photographers. We loved the focus on detail shots and how she looks for photos to take that are unique to us and our wedding day. 5 stars is simply not enough. Cadey and her team are absolutely phenomenal! When you book her, you get so much more than just a super talented photographer--she buttons dresses, pins your veil in your hair, helps move elements from the ceremony to the reception, and does so much more. She makes the somewhat daunting task of wedding pictures painless and fun. The final product is always so beautiful, and she is such a fun person to work with. If you splurge on one item for your wedding, it has to be having Cadey as your photographer.

You guys. This is the only vendor you need to make sure you have. No seriously. Book your entire wedding around whatever Cadey and her team have available. You will NEVER regret it. Let me tell you why. First, our engagement pictures were incredible and we looked gorgeous. I mean we are good looking people but we looked GORGEOUS. Second, our wedding day was 100000 degrees and we were all sweaty all day long. But, could you tell on any of our 888 pictures? Nope. Again, GORGEOUS. This woman is 100% magic. I love these pictures so much I completely redecorated my entire house with them. Almost got to the point of custom wallpaper with our pictures but my husband put a stop to that. She is worth the money. Spend the money here you will not be disappointed. My cheap ass husband said she was the only vendor who was worth the money and worked for it. She’s amazing. Cadey is hands down the best! Her fun - natural - love mantra holds true in everything that she does! My husband and I knew that she was the photographer for us because she was so adaptable, professional and really down to earth. She flew to Arizona to photograph our wedding, and the outcome was far beyond what I could have ever imagined! She fit right in with our family and was so helpful with providing advice and keeping my nerves under control. She brought out the best in my husband and I and captured our love beautifully. When we first started planning our wedding, I knew I wanted Cadey to take our pictures. I had seen her work all over the place, and I honestly had never seen a photo of hers that I didn’t love. I cannot recommend Cadey enough or say enough good things about her! She is an AMAZING photographer to work with. She's super fun and makes you feel very relaxed when taking your engagement and wedding photos. It rained on our wedding day, but Cadey and her team were not phased by it at all. They were out in the rain taking pictures in their umbrella hats, all while Cadey was offering me her boots to wear and getting on her hands and knees to warm up my toes. Ladies - Cadey was absolutely amazing. She did our pictures for the entire process and we love them. She was able to get all the little details and find our story which was very important to us. Super flexible with last minutes changes and helping the bride through those slightly stressful last minutes changes. She was able to work super hard to get us our pictures in a very timely fashion before I had to leave the country. Would never use any other photographer. Nothing but support and happiness from start to finish. And I got all the beautiful memories that I wanted and more. From the Bride. Gents - I was very skeptical about hiring a photographer. It seemed like a lot of money and how could you possibly use that amount of money on photos. But on our first session with Cadey she took over 600 photos and was flexible and did a great job. It’s hard to know where to start when talking about the positives of Cadey and her team. First of all, due to unforeseen circumstances our original photographer was unable to shoot our wedding; we were then put in touch with Cadey. From the first time we met her she was organized, helpful, and professional. On the day of the wedding, Cadey and her team, Rylie and Madison, arrived and helped to not only capture the most important day of our life but added to the fun and excitement as well. Cadey helped keep everyone in the right place at the right time and kept the flow of the day going. She included not only traditional poses but also mixed things up, specifically when we suggested forest shots, she loaded up the jeep and off we went down a 4x4 trail in the Black Hills. After the wedding she was on top of editing and sent us a few photos the night of the reception. By the middle of the following week she had posted photos to her blog for us to share with our family, and within a week and a half we had received all of our wedding photos. Every photo was gorgeously done and we have received numerous compliments that the prints belong in a magazine. I chose Cadey initially based off of her blog work and am so glad we did!!! She made the entire process seamlessly easy and even helped us make a timeline for the day. We felt so comfortable around her and so it was actually pretty easy to take a thousand pictures on our day. She makes you laugh and has a great team to help block light and take extra shots and carry your dress. We really had the best day and when we got our photos we were even MORE thrilled. Cadey is without a doubt the best photographer in the Black Hills. Not only do all of her pictures turn out, she is a BLAST to be with. Working with Cadey Reisner Weddings was a DREAM! My fiancé and I were engaged September 10th, 2016 and were looking for a photographer for our January 1st, 2017 wedding. A friend of mine, recently had Cadey for her wedding and we immediately knew we wanted her to capture our day. We took our engagement photos in October, which was so fun and we had our photos back THE NEXT DAY! This was our first time meeting Cadey and right away we felt as if we had known her for years. We love adventures and in our vows, we promised each other to always make time for them. On our wedding day, Cadey had us crawling through snow banks (which we loved!) and we will cherish the amazing photos from our New Year's wedding always.

My husband hates taking pictures but was in 2 other weddings with Cadey as photographer and he said he actually "liked" taking the pictures! We booked Cadey for our wedding and we have never had so much fun taking our pictures - she captured every detail and emotion perfectly! If I could give Cadey a hundred stars I would in a heartbeat! She is so amazing to work with, with and such a fun loving personality. We absolutely love Cadey! Not only are her photographs amazing but she is so much fun to work with! I hate being in the front of the camera, but from the get-go Cadey made both my fiancé and I feel extremely comfortable. She has been such a blessing to work with as I plan my big day across the state. She (1) rocked our engagement session (2) has provided me with lots of help planning other aspects of my big day (3) is always willing to take phone calls for me (4) has even reached out to my mother and family members who are helping me plan and (5) i am worry free about my big day and the amazing photos she will take. She will make you feel comfortable, she will want to actually get to know you, and she will provide you with the most beautiful photos that will last a lifetime. She has a team of multiple photographers so that you get shots from all angles. She is more than a photographer, and will help you with absolutely anything. At the end of the day, you will have amazing photos, and an amazing lifelong friendship.

I'm honestly not even sure where to begin. Out of the MANY decisions to make while planning a wedding choosing Cadey to photograph was BY FAR the best decision! Cadey is extremely professional and so much FUN! She not only was amazing with getting my wedding party to cooperate ( mostly just the boys.. lets be honest!) but she kept moving through our timeline to make sure everything ran smoothly. If anything went wrong I had NO idea. She not only took on the biggest task of the day photographing, but she helped out with last minute details of the reception. The pictures turned out more breathtaking than I could have ever imagined. Some of the emotion that she captured makes me cry every time I look back at the pictures from my wedding day. My only regret is not finding her sooner to photograph my engagement pictures. I would recommend Cadey to anyone and everyone! LOVE HER!

Cadey's photography is the most beautiful I have ever seen (I really mean it)... and I am extremely picky when it comes to photography! Cadey herself is such a innovative, fun and lovely person to be around and makes both men and women feel extremely comfortable and lots of laughs, which really comes thru in her photography. Cadey did such an amazing job on our wedding photos. After becoming engaged Cadey was the first vendor I booked - even based my wedding date around her schedule because I knew our wedding photos would be the most important keepsake from our wedding and I couldn't image anyone else doing them for us. When we began planning our wedding we knew that the most important vendor we would hire would be our photographer. The photographer plays a key role in making the day go smoothly and making sure all of the special moments are captured. Cadey captures all of those moments and then some!! She has an impeccable eye for capturing the most beautiful photographs. From the lighting, to the natural poses, and the all around fun nature of being in her presence! We had the most fun shooting our engagement pictures and knew that our wedding day would be just like that. My husband was pretty shy and reserved at our engagement session. But Cadey made him feel so comfortable and by the day of our wedding he knew what to expect and was a pro! I just cannot recommend Cadey enough! If you want a professional that has an eye for unique beautiful photographs then she is your photographer!

Wow, the best ever does not even begin to describe Miss Cadey. My husband and I recently got married in Custer State Park and tears were rolling when we got our pictures back, which was only 2 days later! Cadey is so personable, funny, classy, and professional. I have never seen a bad picture taken by her or her team. I will recommend Cadey to ALL future bride and grooms. Amazing! Would definitely recommend Cadey to anyone. She made the wedding day as stress free as she possible could. She gaves us all complete direction, which hubby said made him feel more at ease. let me tell you, you don't just get a photographer! She even helped bustle and set up cake! And did I mention, amazing pictures! I got them back a couple days after the wedding in a super cute wooden usb and box. Breathtaking!

Cadey photographed our wedding last weekend and she was AMAZING! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. She has the best personality! Cadey is AMAZING! Over the past year, she has been so wonderful. She really took the time to get to know us, and she was always available for any questions we had. She makes you feel comfortable and is always so much fun. She even met up with me and made a wedding timeline that I could give everyone...which took a lot of stress off of me. She was so much fun during engagement pictures, my bridal session, bridal boudoir session, and wedding photos. She is very creative and takes beautiful pictures. Cadey photographed my wedding this past weekend and was fantastic! She definitely knows her stuff and took lots of fun and unexpected detail shots, which I loved! And she was excellent in directing everyone in the photos to get their best angle, even our dogs! She's fast, efficient, professional, punctual, and super friendly. She was creative and helped us take lots of different and interesting shots, along with the traditional ones. As I was coordinating my wedding from out of state, I really appreciated how responsive and easy to reach Cadey was. And the most impressive of all? She had our photos ready a mere 4 days after the wedding! Unheard of! My friends usually have to wait months for their photos, but not with Cadey! She had several posted on fb and ready to share just 4 days later, and that's with another wedding she had to shoot in between! I don't know if 4 days is her normal turnaround, but from what I hear, everyone who uses her likes how quickly she's able to get the shots to the couple to review. I'm highly impressed, that's for sure. And the quality of her shots are excellent. She's also super open-minded to suggestions. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride/groom and would use her again if I ever needed professional shots for anything. We weren't able to get our engagement photos done by her as we're from out of state and was only here for the wedding, but she did include some gorgeous pregnancy shots during the wedding photos, as I was a pregnant bride. We even had some hilarious fun taking some shots with an heirloom shotgun borrowed from a friend. Why not, right? Love Cadey! I have zero hesitations in recommending her.

I don't even know where to start with Cadey. I have to say out of every vendor and everything I chose for my wedding she was the best! Cadey is so professional yet so fun, just an absolute joy to work with. Her ideas are different from couple to couple so you are guaranteed one of a kind photos. I have the most amazing photos from my wedding that I get to look back on for the rest of my life. If I could give Cadey 10 stars I would, worth every penny! Cadey is an excellent photographer. She brings laughter and joy to her job. She was able to provide 2 other photographers to capture random moments. She makes you feel comfortable and really enjoy yourself, my husband was even joking around with them and had a good time. Her skills are amazing and I would recommend her to anyone!

Cadey was one of the best parts of our wedding! Cadey came all the way to Iowa City, IA to shoot our wedding. She made it a point to scope out photo locations before she even met with us that day so that we had the most beautiful back drops in town. Cadey also did an amazing job dealing with the entire wedding party, family/ extended family, and of course the little ones in our wedding party. When it was time to choose what photos we would get printed for our home, we had an extremely difficult time choosing. Along with the traditional photos of our family and wedding party, Cadey took so many candid shots that captured all the special moments throughout our big day. She also took the time to take pictures of all my wedding details, which I loved! Even 3 years later I frequently switch out the wedding photos we have displayed in our living room because they are all THAT good. Cadey’s work speaks for itself. I have recommended Cadey to each and every one of my friends, engaged or not!

Ok, you've seen Cadey's other reviews, and they're spot on---she is FANTASTIC to work with. She's professional, kind, fun and funny, and she takes amazing photos. Here are a few other things to know: She'll work with you to create a personalized package. My husband and I were really, really not enthused about the typical wedding photo package---even the most basic packages we found were a lot more involved than we wanted. I, for example, didn't want someone following me around all day as I got ready---I just wasn't into that. I also didn't need someone else to make me a wedding album (because I was excited to do it myself). Still, we wanted good, professional pictures of us, our immediate families, and our wedding party----and our ceremony. Cadey was the only person we found in the area who was willing to break ranks with the set package idea and create a more personalized package for us. She was at our wedding for about two and a half hours and was able to get all the pictures we wanted. It was fast and furious, but she kept it fun and clearly knew how to handle the shortened timeline. We had a blast with her and were 100% happy with the finished product---loads and loads of fantastic photos. We were also coming from out of state, so I really appreciated that Cadey took time to meet with me a few days before the wedding when I finally got in town. We actually didn't have much to talk about, logistically----but it definitely made me feel better to just share a coffee and chat with her. Planning a wedding long-distance can be stressful, and meeting my vendors face-to-face before game day helped put me at ease. I can't recommend Cadey enough. Do yourself a favor and hire her now!

When planning our wedding we had met with several photographers and none of them quite had what we were looking for, but then we met Cadey. You spend a lot of time with your photographer during the wedding process, and you definitely want to pick someone that is fun to be around. Cadey has one of the most fun and vibrant personalities, she makes you forget that you are taking pictures and just have fun. Her personality along with her talent allows her to capture the most beautiful and real moments. Anyone can tell you how to pose, but it takes someone special to be able to capture life's moments and the love between people. Cadey is simply the best of the best.

My name is Brittany and my fiancé and I just recently worked with Cadey about two weeks ago for our engagement pictures. My fiancé (Daniel) just recently turned 23 and I just turned 22. I am a senior at South Dakota State University which is where me and my fiancé met. Currently he is working as an Athletic Trainer in Nebraska Kearney while also trying to obtain his Master's degree. Anyways, the moral of the story is we live SIX hours away from each other and SIX hours from Rapid City where we will be getting married in July 2015. That right there makes things so challenging for us especially since we see each other one weekend about every six to eight weeks. When we got engaged in July 2014 we knew immediately we needed to start planning because of the distance. After googling photographers around the area we had it narrowed down to two. After reading biographies and looking at packages we instantly fell in love with Cadey and knew we wanted her to be apart of our special day. One of the things that made us absolutely adore her was her love for her family, this meant everything to us because we are so family oriented. Her pricing and packages were perfect for a couple right out of college with really not a whole lot of direction. After contacting Cadey and telling her of our situation she was so sweet and willing to work with our schedules because the only time we could every get together was over holiday breaks from school. She honestly was/is a blessing because of how flexible she is and how willing she is to work with you. Daniel and I were both timid about our pictures because lets face it we didn't really know what to expect since we had never met with Cadey before the day of our engagement pictures. Right away she was so nice, sweet, and energetic. She made us both feel so comfortable and welcomed which is honestly what we needed because after being away from your fiancé for two months you get a little nervous every time you reunite. After our pictures she immediately put a picture up so we could view it and within a week had about thirty or so up! She was so fast and we absolutely loved all of our pictures! They turned out just the way we wanted them too and were totally us! We are so excited for her to shoot for our big day this coming July and can't wait to see more engagement pictures! Cadey was absolutely amazing. All our pictures turned out wonderful. She did such a great job of keeping the wedding party (and my groom) upbeat and smiling through all the wedding day pictures. She was so creative and made sure all my requests were met for any special pictures. She took charge and made sure we were on time for everything. What a wonderful photographer, and person. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have Cadey be a part of our special day, and I would recommend her to anyone that is planning a wedding in the Black Hills! My husband and I live in the Chicago area but wanted to get Married in Rapid, my hometown. We found Cadey, and fell in love with her photography for it's bright, colorful nature. She really seemed to capture the joy and love of weddings, and we loved how natural her photography was. My husband and I do not consider ourselves to be good at taking pictures, and our attitude about our wedding photography was that we really only needed 1 good picture. We first met Cadey during our engagement shoot, and we loved her right away. She is fun, energetic, creative, and funny. She really has a way with catching couples in the moment, making for real smiles and true emotion in their pictures. We were blown away at how many of our engagement pictures we LOVED, and how great we looked in them (being that we typically cringe at the thought of pictures). We were so impressed that we asked her to shoot pictures of our rehearsal party as well, which also turned out amazing. Our wedding pictures are exactly what we had hoped for. She really gives a great combination of candid and posed shots. She is great with kids, and bridal parties, and was able to get great pictures of a bridal party of 8 bridesmaids, and 9 groomsmen. Our couple shots were stunning and we are having a hard time choosing our favorites! We highly recommend Cadey and her photography!

I was so excited to have Cadey as our wedding photographer. She did such an amazing job. We had a 2 year engagement, because Parks (my husband) and I lived on different sides of the country while I was finishing school. Cadey was always willing to work with our crazy schedules and find time to meet when I was in South Dakota. The day of our wedding came, and Cadey helped us to create some amazing memories. It rained on our wedding day, and plans changed, but Cadey and her assistant were so willing to go with the flow, and their knowledge of weddings actually helped a lot during the craziness of the day. Cadey is easy to work with, and after photographing the groomsmen I know that she can do amazing when working with anyone. The boys came up with some crazy photo ideas that she let them do, in order to get great pictures! I felt very comfortable with her, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. The pictures she captured were also outstanding, it was so hard for us to narrow down pictures when we went to look at them! Cadey did such a great job, and was an incredible professional to work with, and she also made the wedding photography experience lots of fun!!!

From the moment I started looking at Cadey, I knew I wanted her for my wedding photographer. She takes great photographs, captures more than just peoples faces, she captures the true emotions and energy of the day in her photographs. My husband and I had a VERY long engagement (long distance relationship and I was still in school) and Cadey was wonderful to work with, she was willing to work with my crazy time schedule and meet when I was available. I was completely comfortable with her, after meeting her once, my husband was a little bit more hesitant, but after working with her and seeing our wedding pictures he was in love!!! The wedding day was amazing, Cadey was on top of it, and helped us relax and obtain more beautiful pictures than I thought possible! She encouraged us to do a first look, which was one of our favorite parts of the wedding day! Just a special time for the two of us to get to see each other and get to spend time together, before the craziness of the day started. Cadey also put up with a rough group of groomsmen, and did a great job of trying to keep them focused, the 6 of them tormented her with crazy picture ideas, as well as running away from her in what they decided would be a great picture - the "scatter" pose. The hardest part, was narrowing down the pictures and choosing the ones to keep... we Loved them ALL!!! I am so thankful to Cadey for helping capture all the emotions and small moments of our wedding day!

I was recommended to Cadey by a friend who loved her work. First off our engagement session was a blast of fun! She has unique ideas and a great eye for locations! My husband does not like having his picture taken and she was able to make both of us feel comfortable so she could capture our natural smiles and laughter. Cadey then traveled to my hometown in eastern Nebraska to shoot our wedding, which took a lot of stress off while planning a wedding away from a state away. My family fell in love with her just like we did! They still ask about her today even though we have been married for over a year now! If I had to plan my wedding all over again, I would not hesitate to pick Cadey again!
