Please note, as a member of Jewish clergy, Cantor Lind DOES NOT PERFORM CEREMONIES ON SHABBAT (Friday evening through Saturday at 6pm) or on most holidays. She is open to co-officiating for interfaith ceremonies, though it does not change her fee.

It was a true simcah to have Cantor Lind officiate our ceremony! Leading up to the big day, she was very communicative and worked to ensure that the ceremony matched our vision. She did a wonderful job of incorporating aspects of both religions for our interfaith ceremony! During the ceremony, she did an amazing job of explaining the Jewish aspects of the ceremony to our non-Jewish guests and provided English translations for the Hebrew blessings. We received many compliments from guests on how well officiated our ceremony was and that is a true testament to the care and attention that Cantor Lind provides to her couples! Her voice is angelic and added a very special touch to our ceremony! We would highly recommend her to any Jewish/interfaith couple!

Have you ever been so positively surprised that you can't believe it? I don't know if it was the feeling of being at my wedding, but I've never seen a ceremony more beautiful than the one performed by Cantor Joanna. And I guess that's what you want at your wedding, right?

Cantor Lind is amazing. She makes things very smooth. She has one of the best voices I have ever heard. Not only that but as I said she makes it easy. We are an interfaith couple and Cantor Lind is understanding and helpful in that regard. She helped coordinate between the faiths. We can't recommend her enough!

Cantor Joanna P. Lind is a 6th generation cantor following her grandfather, Cantor Dale Lind, and his father, Hazan Joshua Lind. At age seven, Joanna became the nation's youngest Cantorial Soloist at her family's independent high holiday congregation, Sons of Joshua. Having earned a B.S. from Northwestern University, Cantor Lind was later ordained through JSLI. Currently, she performs life cycle events independently and is the cantor for Reform Congregation Ahavat Olam. Outside of her religious calling, Cantor Lind is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, performer, poet, and Mommy.

Cantor Joanna P. Lind is the sixth generation Lind family cantor following her grandfather, Cantor Dale Lind, and his father, Hazan Joshua Lind, both also renowned teachers and liturgical composers. At the age of seven, Joanna became the nation's youngest Cantorial Soloist, singing at her family's Conservative-style, egalitarian, independent congregation, Sons of Joshua, which provided a place for unaffiliated Chicago-area Jews to attend high holiday services.Having earned a B.S. from Northwestern University (Theatre), Cantor Lind was later ordained through JSLI in a multi-denominational program. Currently, she performs life cycle events independently and is the cantor part-time for Ahavat Olam, a small congregation led by Rabbi Cantor Nancy Landsman.Outside of her religious calling, Cantor Lind is also a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, performer, poet, and Mommy.
