He did our engagement session and was absolutely hilarious. He made things comfortable and funny when typically everyone starts out very stiff and awkward. He was extremely prompt with all the back and forth emails from coordinating dates and offering tips on the best time of day for an outdoor wedding, to reassuring us that rain would only make the pictures better (it happened to be a very rainy week, but the sun came out just an hour before the ceremony!). His professionalism is second to none. My family commented so many times about how comfortable he made them all feel. His kindness, sense of humor and ease behind the camera were perfect. He knew the location of our event very well and captured so many quintessential Charleston backdrops, but most of all, our personalities. We couldn't be happier with the photos and videos. We had a giant rain shower and Dennis and his entire team just went with the flow and made everything work perfect for the Bride and Groom. Details: Recently, I helped plan my best friend’s bachelorette party in Charleston. Last minute, her fiancé said he wanted to book a surprise photoshoot for the group of 6 people — despite the bride & her friends generally being camera-shy. I was nervous about the idea, but it ended up being amazing — which is ALL thanks to Dennis and his great personality & talent behind the camera! Dennis completely outdid himself in selecting the most perfect locations for the photos and the most beautiful backdrops. Most importantly, though, he created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, meaning that everyone in the group (including those of the group who are usually very camera-shy) felt very comfortable - it was almost as if we were just hanging out by ourselves, laughing together. The photos he took captured the special bond between us as friends as well as the beauty of Charleston. They were way better than what I had hoped for -- he’s so talented that you can't even tell one of us had come in from a redeye or that we’d all just finished a lengthy wine tasting! Not only that, but our photos were uploaded and shared with us in a timely manner, allowing us to choose our favorites and share them quickly with family and friends. The level of customer service was unparalleled. It was clear Dennis wanted to ensure our satisfaction with his work AND ensure that we had a great & fun experience. We can't thank Dennis enough for making the most incredible memories of our special sunset evening in Charleston. He can take the shyest of people and make the experience so much fun. My wedding was a dual ceremony and time was a challenge, yet his team did not miss a beat and he captured the day BEAUTIFULLY, and not once did I feel rushed and you would never tell by the pictures that we were on a timeline. You cannot beat his prices, and when you see his work, you'll want to pay for even more pictures beyond what you initially paid for (which he will NEVER force on you, but will very kindly explain what options you have). I look forward to working with Dennis for all future milestones and cannot recommend him enough. We did our engagement pictures with Dennis as well, and he just keeps amazing us over and over again.

He’s so much fun and such a joy to have at your wedding. After reading other reviews, you may have an idea of what my husband likes to call “the Dennis effect”, but after you meet him you’ll know what we mean!
