My husband and I booked Mary with Chocolate Paper Studios as our wedding photographer and we have been ecstatic with the level care and service we have received throughout our experience with her. We booked Mary, along with her husband Chad of Perfect Day DJs, through a package offered by Chad, "Perfect Day with Chocolate on Top," and it was possibly one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! The package included a wedding DJ with ceremony audio, an engagement photo session, and 2 photographers on the day of our wedding! The engagement photo session was so much fun! Like most people my husband and I don't often book a photographer and Mary was able to direct us through multiple different poses and photos that all came out beautifully. We both fell in love with the pictures and couldn't help but talk about how amazing they are. As our wedding day approached Mary stayed in contact with us and created a carefully planned timeline to accommodate family portraits with every member of our rather large family. When our wedding day finally arrived, Mary came with her partner photographer and equipped with two cameras and a slew of gadgets herself! They captured each important moment throughout the day and I am forever grateful for this because it's true when they say your wedding day will feel like a blur. Not only were they able to document such an important day for us but Mary and her partner Pamela were so much fun to work with and helped hype us up throughout the day! Our family even commented on how great of a team we had working on our wedding! Born and raised in the Cincinnati area, I've spent years photographing weddings throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. they were nothing short of fantastic. Working with the 2 of them together was the best decision we made for our wedding. We worked with Mary on our engagement shoot - she loved all of our wild ideas and really made it so comfortable for us even though we've never been professionally shot before. They were so organized before wedding day putting together timelines and listening to all of our requests. We got SO many compliments on Chad the night of our wedding. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great time. quick to respond to emails. She had lots of great recommendations for places to get pictures for our engagement and our wedding. She was very accommodating to any changes that needed to be made and talked about plans for bad weather (Luckily, we had great weather for both). We had so much fun for our engagement shoot! Me and my husband are definitely not naturals when it comes to photo shoots, but Mary helped us relax and be ourselves. She made our experience feel very personalized and fun! Leading up to the big day, Mary stayed in touch and set up phone meetings to help plan our photography timeline for the day. The whole process was very smooth. Mary (and second photographer, Kendall) did such an amazing job capturing our entire wedding day and taking absolutely beautiful wedding photos! Mary let the magic happen and captured so many beautiful candid photos in addition to our amazing portraits. xpect. She set up a Zoom call for us to meet and ask any and all questions we had. She did our engagement photos and she was so amazing. I wanted someone that would tell us how to pose, where to go next, etc. and she was perfect! She definitely knows what she's doing and knows where to get the best shot. She is also open to any ideas that you may have, so come with pictures! She was very responsive via email to any questions we had and made sure to have a final call the week of the wedding to make sure we had all of our shots figured out. She also has a form you fill out that goes over everything you could think of for pictures on your wedding day. During the wedding day, her and her second photographer were right on time and were amazing getting everything done. felt that we would be taken care of our entire engagement process up to our wedding day. It was a good thing, too, because our engagement ended up being a lot longer than originally planned. We needed to postpone our wedding TWO TIMES during the pandemic. Chad and Mary made us feel at ease through the chaos. They worked with us both times and somehow still made the planning fun even though we were under a lot of stress. Mary and Chad made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day. Our other vendors had great things to say about them as well which is another testament of how great of a job they do. She assured us she knew of spots in case it rained (our pictures were downtown Cincinnati). Mary and her assistant were fun and easy going; which was great energy to have as we were with them all day! Mary was able to work quickly and had our photos back to us in time for holiday cards. The pictures turned out beautifully and we also got a nice slideshow of the day. Chocolate Paper Studios and Perfect Day DJs also have a package deal if you book together. te Paper Studios as our wedding photographer. With the package we chose, we got a free engagement session. Mary made us feel comfortable throughout the session and was willing to even hike through the woods to an old train bridge to get some of the photos. We could not have been happier with how the photos turned out. Fast forward to the wedding and Mary continued to exceed our expectations. She called me a couple weeks before the wedding to review all of the details that we filled out in a questionnaire previously. She gave great recommendations for locations for both our engagement and wedding photos. Our wedding photos turned out amazing and we could not be happier. The turn around for the pictures was quick. We were able to order a wedding album that Mary put together and it turned out great. Our families also loved the photos and working with Mary. Mary was professional and a joy to work with. I cannot say enough good things about Chocolate Paper Studios.

rain that was predicted, Mary was super knowledgeable in suggesting adorable places for pictures outside that were covered. She responded to my 10,000 emails asking questions so quickly and just made us feel so incredibly comfortable from the time we booked her, through our engagement session, and the wedding. The sneak peak we got is amazing, and we can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! Definitely book Chocolate Paper studios for all your wedding needs, you won’t be disappointed! nd Chocolate Paper Studios while meeting with her husband Chad for Perfect Day DJ services and we are so thankful that meeting occurred. Mary was so warm and friendly and made us both feel comfortable from the start. We were both nervous about the photography side of things as neither of us really feel comfortable in front of a camera. However, after just the first few minutes of the engagement photo session, we were having a blast. Mary made it all feel so natural and encouraged us to be ourselves and have fun with it. We were blown away when we received the pictures afterward. The angles and lighting were beautiful and some of the little details she focused on were just perfect. We were so excited to work with her again for the big day and she went above and beyond expectations. She and Tiffany, her second shooter, were such a pleasure to work with. They were organized and efficient while still being laid back, open to silly suggestions, and so much fun to work with. They felt like part of the family that day. I can not express in words just how AMAZING the wedding photos turned out...they are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and looking through them is like reliving the best day of my life. I know I'll be contacting her again if we ever need a photographer.

learned about Mary while visiting with her husband Chad, who we hired as our DJ. Upon meeting, we were instantly sold on both her photography and her warm and friendly personality. Mary was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout our engagement shoot, wedding planning and wedding day. Neither of us is very comfortable in front of a camera, yet Mary made it feel very natural. She kept us laughing the entire time and had a lot of great ideas for photo locations and poses. Additionally, Mary went above and beyond and provided advice and guidance on our wedding day events and timeline. Once we received our digital album from Mary, we were blown away again. She perfectly captured every moment of our wedding day and we are able to relive the best day of our lives every time we look through it. It’s actually been quite challenging to pick out which photos we want to have framed because there are so many great options to choose from. We honestly could not imagine having anyone else photograph our wedding day. Mary instantly felt like an old friend and made everything so easy for us. We’d also highly recommend hiring her husband Chad from Perfect Day DJ’s. The two of them worked together and did anything and everything to make our wedding day absolutely stunning. We will be forever grateful for Mary and Chocolate Paper Studios whenever we look at our wedding photos.

We cannot recommend Chocolate Paper Studios & Mary enough! From the time we booked with Mary a year before our wedding, she was so easy to communicate with and on top of everything...

to ensure we got the engagement pictures and then wedding photos of our dreams! She is so organized, detailed, and creative, but also takes great care to make sure she captured everything in a way that went along with our vision and the kind of photos we wanted. She was super flexible and helpful in organizing the day of our wedding in a way that would work best to maximize our photography time. The edited pictures are beautiful, and she provides great options for purchasing them as well. She is very timely with getting both engagement and wedding pictures completed! Overall, I would definitely hire Mary for any photography needs!
