Out of all the proposals we reviewed Chopin Mon Ami offered the best customer service, value, and ease of booking. Our venue required us to bring our vendors so it was important for me to have as few vendors as I could and to have very reliable vendors. Chelsea was absolutely great from the moment we contacted Chopin Mon Ami. Planning our catering with her went smoothly, she was always available, and answered all my questions. We also rented linens, glassware, and chargers with them. They provided catering and bar services which helped us to have one contact for food and beverage. The food was delicious! We went with the barbecue package as it’s something my husband and I enjoy. We wanted to make sure our wedding meal was something flavorful and that our guests would like; it did not disappoint! The food was not only delicious but abundant. The presentation was great and proper for a wedding. Our guests loved the food and even went for seconds. Our bartender was friendly and super efficient and the bar ran smoothly. Chopin Mon Ami was great! Thank you to Chelsea, Kevin, and all the Chopin Mon Ami team.

Todd and crew were absolutely amazing! The prime rib and Shrimp Orleans were spectacular and the guests had an amazing evening. They made us feel like royalty and the food was a otherworldly. They boxed all of the leftovers and alcohol and we partied for our days. Everybody raved about the service and I would concur.

Everyone at CMA was so wonderful to work with and the food was absolutely delicious! We had a huge delay due to a highway shut down , lost our minister, our ceremony chairs and few guests! CMA worked with us to navigate the delays and made sure we still had hot and fabulous food! The steak and grilled veggies were amazing! Highly recommend ! Thank you to Chelsea for all her help and patience through the planning process too!

Chopin Mon Ami was wonderful! They made sure we got exactly what we wanted and that it would fit into our budget! We used them for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception and the food got rave reviews! The staff was fantastic and very attentive to all of the guests. Judy helped both nights and helped immensely with making sure everything ran smoothly!

We are beyond pleased with the excellent service and delicious food that Todd and his team at Chopin Mon Ami provided at our wedding. Todd took the time to talk us through menu options and figure out what suited our taste the best. I had no doubts in choosing Chopin Mon Ami and they really went above and beyond! We had awesome fajitas with all the sides and an assortment of desserts. We were extremely impressed with the attentiveness their staff had for us, making sure we (the bride and groom) always had food, water, and drinks of our choice. Their bartenders were excellent too! Todd's team set up our venue beautifully before hand with the linens, colors, glassware etc that we picked out at a consultation. Again, can't emphasize enough how awesome their team was and delicious the food tasted. Really, really pleased with Chopin Mon Ami catering our wedding down in Galveston.

We had a great experience working with Todd and the rest of his staff. We were a COVID wedding and not only did they help us in anyway they could throughout the process, they provided professional and safe services the day of. Instead of using one of their already provided packages, we created our own menu. They were so easy to work with and made any changes to the food we requested. They made this part of the process of a breeze.

Our wedding venue recommended Todd for catering. We ended up getting to taste some of his menu items at a wedding vendor show and we were sold. The food was so amazing and creative. When you talk to Todd, you can feel his passion for what he does. Our guests keep telling us how fantastic the food was at our reception. He even worked with us to cater late night Chicago dogs which everyone loved! He will make you feel so secure and make your life easier while you’re planning your wedding. Do yourself a favor and hire Todd and you’ll be like us eating leftovers two days after the wedding knowing you made the right call.

I cannot say enough good things about CMA! Having really excellent food was one of the most important parts of the wedding and Todd and Judy really came through! Not only did they provide incredible food and service but they also helped out with hand sanitizer. Our whole family loved working with them and the guests were raving about their amazing food!

Wow what an experience! It's rare to find a vendor that will do everything right but Chopin Mon Ami Catering is that vendor. We met with them initially pre-Covid and were on track to have my daughter's wedding in April. Well, that fell thru and CMAC was more than accommodating in helping us with our reschedule. Lot's of selection in linens and food! They will even do special requests because we had a couple of vegetarians in our party. I really enjoyed working with Todd and his mom. They are so gracious and give very good advice. They were familiar with the venue we were having the reception and so understood what was best to do when. They don't try to up sell you only do what is right for your celebration. I like the attention to detail, for example, they set a portion of the food aside after the party for the bride and groom to have something to nosh on later. Everyone, raved about the quality of the food and the taste. I would use them again in a heartbeat and hope that I can in the future. Did you guess that I love working with them? I did!

Todd at Chopin Mon Ami was excellent to work with from the beginning. He was very helpful and gave suggestions for vendor recommendations as well. His staff did a fantastic job during the wedding and checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was offered at a great price and I heard no complaints about the food from the guests, even the vegetarians. They provided a great service overall. I also decided to rent the linens from Todd and that worked out well.

I absolutely LOVED these guys!! Todd was so great, he not only catered our wedding, but he and his team flipped our ceremony room into our reception. He oversaw every single detail to give me the wedding of my dreams! Their food was so delicious, from their tasting to wedding night and I actually looked forward to eating it from the moment I first tasted it! Chopin Mon Ami did an amazing job catering The Bryan Museum’s 4th annual Gala earlier this month! Todd & Judy have been catering for the museum for 4.5 years now and actually catered our Grand Opening in 2015. They have done countless weddings here and every single bride has walked away Happy!! The food for our Gala was superb & the staff impeccable. We received numerous compliments on the hors d’ oeuvres as well for both parties that weekend. Chopin Mon Ami is a NO BRAINER for anyone having a Galveston wedding! From day one Todd was amazing to work with - not only is he truly a pro at weddings, but he has a great personality that clicked with my husband and I right away. And he's not kidding when he says CMA is full-service; if you have an idea for apps/signature drinks/dessert table/etc, his team will make it happen for you. Like other reviewers have said, many of our guests said this was the best wedding food they ever had! Plus, Todd's staff the night of was awesome - they made sure my husband and I had food and drinks whenever we needed and checked in with us multiple times throughout the night. Todd and his team are simply amazing. They are a well oiled machine who know the ins and out of every venue in Galveston. The food was great, the bussing was quick and plates and glasses were never left on the tables, and they have a sense of urgency and timeliness that kept everything perfectly on schedule which was amazing. Todd and his mom we're the perfect ones to cater my husband and I's wedding. I have never heard so many people compliment wedding food! I heard several people go as far as to say it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. They made the day so easy by being my one stop shop for food, a dessert (we did cobbler), bar & margarita machine, dinner, and linens! Todd also, being a local to the island and many years spent catering weddings/other events, has a huge list of other vendors you may need - and honest recommendations for who is good and who isn't. He definitely did deliver on his promise. The food, service, and linens were excellent. The entire team was very profession. Todd was personally at the event to oversee everything. He offers full service catering for a reasonable cost. The guests at our wedding raved about the food. The team was on-time, set up was flawless, and the food was excellent. I used Chopin Mon Ami as the caterer at my wedding. They provided hors-d'oeuvres, the main course, as well as cookies and brownies. Todd and his team have genuinely masted their craft. I never had to worry once about the food for my wedding because they are professionals and took care of everything. First of all the food at my wedding was amazing, so fresh, actually hot, and delicious. The service was on point. They took care of every one of my guests without being invasive. They even remembered to package up extra food for my new husband and I to eat later. If you want a caterer you can trust, who has experience, delivers spectacular food and can handle any situation, choose Chopin Mon Ami. They can do this in their sleep!

Todd and his team did a great job at our wedding. The service was attentive and ensured everything was picked up promptly. Our guests raved about the egg rolls served in shot glasses with sweet and sour sauce in the bottom as well as the bistro fillet. The bottle service at the table went smoothly and they went above and beyond retrieving some additional beverages for our elderly guests. They also did a great job with our special requests like having some of the appetizers for us in a side room after the ceremony so we could grab a bite before pictures and icing down and serving our table a special bottle of champagne. His cream colored plates with gold rims and gold charger plates were perfect for our color scheme and no extra charge. We also liked that he provided all the glasses and bartender but we were able to supply all of the beverages and pick out exactly what we wanted without an up charge. He also handled our linen rentals and helped us find someone for security at our event.

Chopin Mon Ami provided exceptional service for our June wedding. Even at peak wedding season, Todd and his staff were present and attentive. Todd went ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty by meeting (independently) with our providers to coordinate the event, even helping to coordinate he set up of tables in our reception hall. Nothing was neglected. The food too was very good. With top-notch service. Chopin Mon Ami is very much a local family business, so they know everyone on the Island. They provided us with excellent recommendations for baker, DJ, chair rentals, and flowers. I strongly recommend them.

We loved working with Todd and Judy at Chopin Mon Ami, they went above and beyond our expectations throughout the entire process! Chopin Mon Ami Catering is, in my opinion, a five-star catering service who welcomes the gay community with open arms. My husband I and I were married on September 16th 2017. We searched diligently for a catering service on the island who would provide the quality of service we were looking for at a reasonable price, and Chopin Mon Ami surpassed all our expectations with flying colors. They are professional, the food is fantastic, they will work with you on all aspects of your catering needs, and they are gay-friendly. We would recommend Chopin Mon Ami to any couple, gay or otherwise, looking to have the wedding of their dreams come true.

We loved Chopin Mon Ami. We met Todd when we were touring a venue and he was there setting up for another wedding. We immediately felt at ease with him and were sure that he knew what he was doing. The food at our wedding was absolutely delicious and Todd's team were so attentive and lovely. Can I give Chopin Mon Ami 10 stars? They're that wonderful! Todd is hands down THE BEST caterer in Galveston! He was there to literally cater to our every need and saw us through every step. Our night went perfectly---how many brides can say that? I had full confidence in Todd's abilities both as a caterer and an event planned. The food was to die for and EXACTLY what I wanted. He even made sure my husband and I ate at our reception. He helped us with the flow of the evening. I was actually able to really enjoy the evening where most brides are frantic. FANTASTIC!! Todd and his team delivered superp service from start to finish. My now husband and I had a short engagement (less than 4 months) so we had a lot to accomplish in a small amount of time. We also had another challenge as we were planning the wedding from afar being that we live in Nashville, TN. Todd was so accommodating, making himself available to meet with us when we were in Galveston and also quick to respond to email and phone calls. He helped us develop a menu that was tailored to our requests and our guests were blown away just as much as we were. The meat was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were full of flavor and the staff went above and beyond. When the time came for dinner to be served, we didn't worry for one moment. We had full confidence in Todd and his staff and they took care of us and our guests with the upmost attention to detail. THANK YOU to CMA for being such a joy to work with! We first heard about CMA when we booked our venue at Trolley Station in Galveston, and after we received the quote we knew that we were going to get a great value for our money. First of all, if you have chosen to get married at Trolley Station, CMA knows this venue in and out (doesn't hurt that they are venue managers as well!). Secondly, Todd is great to work with. He's a straight shooter and really knows his stuff. He's fun to be around too! His primary goal is to make the bride and groom happy, and he definitely accomplished that with the excellent service and food they provided for our wedding. Thirdly, we found them to be very affordable. CMA offers a wide variety of menus that can fit any budget... and the food is HIGH quality. I could go on and on... If you are getting married in Galveston, or in need of catering services, look NO further. Give them a call and prepare to be wowed!

If you are looking for a caterer in the Galveston area, Todd with Chopin Mon Ami is your guy! Choosing Chopin Mon Ami was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From first contact, Todd put us at ease with his experience and laid back attitude. In fact, after having trouble setting up a rehearsal dinner at local restaurants, we had Chopin Mon Ami cater not only our wedding, but also our rehearsal dinner. The food we had at both was five star quality. People are still talking about how great the food was! (You have to try the Cajun stuffed chicken!) The truth is that Todd did a lot more than cater our wedding. He has catered every venue in Galveston and he knows what works and what doesn't. He even helped me design the table layout for the venue, and even gave me advice on good DJs in the area. His helpfulness and professionalism carried through to the rest of his staff as well. I couldn't be happier we chose him and Chopin Mon Ami for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding.

We asked Todd to have his chef prepare some Cajun food from his normal menu, as well as a number of customized dishes from a small international cuisine (Parsi food). Todd made himself and his staff available to us in order to make sure that the recipes and the taste of the food was correct, not only during our scheduled tastings, but during our big day as well. Despite having approximately 250 people to satisfy, Todd and his staff were able to deliver vibrant and authentic flavors, crisp and fresh foods, and a wonderfully hard-working and courteous staff. He and his staff were able to bring the food in on time, dilligently work to make sure that everything stayed on scheduled, and that everyone was completely satisfied throughout the night. I would strongly recommend Chopin Mon Ami Catering to anyone who is looking to cater ANY event - big or small. We were very stressed throughout the process of planning a wedding, and Todd made sure that the food and drinks were things that were going to be taken care of, and that they were going to be done very well.
