Out of all the proposals we reviewed Chopin Mon Ami offered the best customer service, value, and ease of booking. Our venue required us to bring our vendors so it was important for me to have as few vendors as I could and to have very reliable vendors. Chelsea was absolutely great from the moment we contacted Chopin Mon Ami. Planning our catering with her went smoothly, she was always available, and answered all my questions. We also rented linens, glassware, and chargers with them. They provided catering and bar services which helped us to have one contact for food and beverage. The food was delicious! We went with the barbecue package as it’s something my husband and I enjoy. We wanted to make sure our wedding meal was something flavorful and that our guests would like; it did not disappoint! The food was not only delicious but abundant. The presentation was great and proper for a wedding. Our guests loved the food and even went for seconds. Our bartender was friendly and super efficient and the bar ran smoothly. Chopin Mon Ami was great! Thank you to Chelsea, Kevin, and all the Chopin Mon Ami team.

Todd and crew were absolutely amazing! The prime rib and Shrimp Orleans were spectacular and the guests had an amazing evening. They made us feel like royalty and the food was a otherworldly. They boxed all of the leftovers and alcohol and we partied for our days. Everybody raved about the service and I would concur.

Everyone at CMA was so wonderful to work with and the food was absolutely delicious! We had a huge delay due to a highway shut down , lost our minister, our ceremony chairs and few guests! CMA worked with us to navigate the delays and made sure we still had hot and fabulous food! The steak and grilled veggies were amazing! Highly recommend ! Thank you to Chelsea for all her help and patience through the planning process too!

Chopin Mon Ami was wonderful! They made sure we got exactly what we wanted and that it would fit into our budget! We used them for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception and the food got rave reviews! The staff was fantastic and very attentive to all of the guests. Judy helped both nights and helped immensely with making sure everything ran smoothly!

We are beyond pleased with the excellent service and delicious food that Todd and his team at Chopin Mon Ami provided at our wedding. Todd took the time to talk us through menu options and figure out what suited our taste the best. I had no doubts in choosing Chopin Mon Ami and they really went above and beyond! We had awesome fajitas with all the sides and an assortment of desserts. We were extremely impressed with the attentiveness their staff had for us, making sure we (the bride and groom) always had food, water, and drinks of our choice. Their bartenders were excellent too! Todd's team set up our venue beautifully before hand with the linens, colors, glassware etc that we picked out at a consultation. We had a great experience working with Todd and the rest of his staff. We were a COVID wedding and not only did they help us in anyway they could throughout the process, they provided professional and safe services the day of. Instead of using one of their already provided packages, we created our own menu. They were so easy to work with and made any changes to the food we requested. They made this part of the process of a breeze.

Our wedding venue recommended Todd for catering. We ended up getting to taste some of his menu items at a wedding vendor show and we were sold. The food was so amazing and creative. When you talk to Todd, you can feel his passion for what he does. Our guests keep telling us how fantastic the food was at our reception. He even worked with us to cater late night Chicago dogs which everyone loved! He will make you feel so secure and make your life easier while you’re planning your wedding. Do yourself a favor and hire Todd and you’ll be like us eating leftovers two days after the wedding knowing you made the right call.

I cannot say enough good things about CMA! Having really excellent food was one of the most important parts of the wedding and Todd and Judy really came through! Not only did they provide incredible food and service but they also helped out with hand sanitizer. Our whole family loved working with them and the guests were raving about their amazing food!

Wow what an experience! It's rare to find a vendor that will do everything right but Chopin Mon Ami Catering is that vendor. We met with them initially pre-Covid and were on track to have my daughter's wedding in April. Well, that fell thru and CMAC was more than accommodating in helping us with our reschedule. Lot's of selection in linens and food! They will even do special requests because we had a couple of vegetarians in our party. I really enjoyed working with Todd and his mom. They are so gracious and give very good advice. They were familiar with the venue we were having the reception and so understood what was best to do when. They don't try to up sell you only do what is right for your celebration. I like the attention to detail, for example, they set a portion of the food aside after the party for the bride and groom to have something to nosh on later. Everyone, raved about the quality of the food and the taste. I would use them again in a heartbeat and hope that I can in the future. Did you guess that I love working with them? I did!

Todd at Chopin Mon Ami was excellent to work with from the beginning. He was very helpful and gave suggestions for vendor recommendations as well. His staff did a fantastic job during the wedding and checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was offered at a great price and I heard no complaints about the food from the guests, even the vegetarians. They provided a great service overall. I also decided to rent the linens from Todd and that worked out well.

I absolutely LOVED these guys!! Todd was so great, he not only catered our wedding, but he and his team flipped our ceremony room into our reception. He oversaw every single detail to give me the wedding of my dreams! Chopin Mon Ami did an amazing job catering The Bryan Museum’s 4th annual Gala earlier this month! Todd & Judy have been catering for the museum for 4.5 years now and actually catered our Grand Opening in 2015. They have done countless weddings here and every single bride has walked away Happy!! Chopin Mon Ami is a NO BRAINER for anyone having a Galveston wedding! From day one Todd was amazing to work with - not only is he truly a pro at weddings, but he has a great personality that clicked with my husband and I right away. And he's not kidding when he says CMA is full-service; if you have an idea for apps/signature drinks/dessert table/etc, his team will make it happen for you. Like other reviewers have said, many of our guests said this was the best wedding food they ever had! He definitely did deliver on his promise. The food, service, and linens were excellent. The entire team was very profession. Todd was personally at the event to oversee everything. I used Chopin Mon Ami as the caterer at my wedding. They provided hors-d'oeuvres, the main course, as well as cookies and brownies. Todd and his team have genuinely masted their craft. I never had to worry once about the food for my wedding because they are professionals and took care of everything. First of all the food at my wedding was amazing, so fresh, actually hot, and delicious. The service was on point. They took care of every one of my guests without being invasive. They even remembered to package up extra food for my new husband and I to eat later. If you want a caterer you can trust, who has experience, delivers spectacular food and can handle any situation, choose Chopin Mon Ami. They can do this in their sleep!

Todd and his team did a great job at our wedding. The service was attentive and ensured everything was picked up promptly. Our guests raved about the egg rolls served in shot glasses with sweet and sour sauce in the bottom as well as the bistro fillet. The bottle service at the table went smoothly and they went above and beyond retrieving some additional beverages for our elderly guests. They also did a great job with our special requests like having some of the appetizers for us in a side room after the ceremony so we could grab a bite before pictures and icing down and serving our table a special bottle of champagne. His cream colored plates with gold rims and gold charger plates were perfect for our color scheme and no extra charge. We also liked that he provided all the glasses and bartender but we were able to supply all of the beverages and pick out exactly what we wanted without an up charge. He also handled our linen rentals and helped us find someone for security at our event.

Chopin Mon Ami provided exceptional service for our June wedding. Even at peak wedding season, Todd and his staff were present and attentive. Todd went ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty by meeting (independently) with our providers to coordinate the event, even helping to coordinate he set up of tables in our reception hall. Nothing was neglected. The food too was very good. With top-notch service. Chopin Mon Ami is very much a local family business, so they know everyone on the Island. Chopin Mon Ami Catering is, in my opinion, a five-star catering service who welcomes the gay community with open arms. My husband I and I were married on September 16th 2017. We searched diligently for a catering service on the island who would provide the quality of service we were looking for at a reasonable price, and Chopin Mon Ami surpassed all our expectations with flying colors. They are professional, the food is fantastic, they will work with you on all aspects of your catering needs, and they are gay-friendly. We would recommend Chopin Mon Ami to any couple, gay or otherwise, looking to have the wedding of their dreams come true.

We loved Chopin Mon Ami. We met Todd when we were touring a venue and he was there setting up for another wedding. We immediately felt at ease with him and were sure that he knew what he was doing. Can I give Chopin Mon Ami 10 stars? They're that wonderful! Todd is hands down THE BEST caterer in Galveston! He was there to literally cater to our every need and saw us through every step. Our night went perfectly---how many brides can say that? I had full confidence in Todd's abilities both as a caterer and an event planned. The food was to die for and EXACTLY what I wanted. He even made sure my husband and I ate at our reception. He helped us with the flow of the evening. I was actually able to really enjoy the evening where most brides are frantic. FANTASTIC!! Todd and his team delivered superp service from start to finish. My now husband and I had a short engagement (less than 4 months) so we had a lot to accomplish in a small amount of time. We also had another challenge as we were planning the wedding from afar being that we live in Nashville, TN. Todd was so accommodating, making himself available to meet with us when we were in Galveston and also quick to respond to email and phone calls. He helped us develop a menu that was tailored to our requests and our guests were blown away just as much as we were. We first heard about CMA when we booked our venue at Trolley Station in Galveston, and after we received the quote we knew that we were going to get a great value for our money. First of all, if you have chosen to get married at Trolley Station, CMA knows this venue in and out (doesn't hurt that they are venue managers as well!). Secondly, Todd is great to work with. He's a straight shooter and really knows his stuff. He's fun to be around too! His primary goal is to make the bride and groom happy, and he definitely accomplished that with the excellent service and food they provided for our wedding. Thirdly, we found them to be very affordable. CMA offers a wide variety of menus that can fit any budget... and the food is HIGH quality. I could go on and on... If you are getting married in Galveston, or in need of catering services, look NO further. Give them a call and prepare to be wowed!

If you are looking for a caterer in the Galveston area, Todd with Chopin Mon Ami is your guy! Choosing Chopin Mon Ami was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From first contact, Todd put us at ease with his experience and laid back attitude. In fact, after having trouble setting up a rehearsal dinner at local restaurants, we had Chopin Mon Ami cater not only our wedding, but also our rehearsal dinner. The food we had at both was five star quality. People are still talking about how great the food was! (You have to try the Cajun stuffed chicken!) The truth is that Todd did a lot more than cater our wedding. He has catered every venue in Galveston and he knows what works and what doesn't. He even helped me design the table layout for the venue, and even gave me advice on good DJs in the area. His helpfulness and professionalism carried through to the rest of his staff as well. I couldn't be happier we chose him and Chopin Mon Ami for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding.

During our initial meeting, he assured us that he would be able to provide us with detailed and professional service, delicious food and drinks, and that we would be happy with our experience using his servics - and he flat out delivered. We asked Todd to have his chef prepare some Cajun food from his normal menu, as well as a number of customized dishes from a small international cuisine (Parsi food). Todd made himself and his staff available to us in order to make sure that the recipes and the taste of the food was correct, not only during our scheduled tastings, but during our big day as well. Despite having approximately 250 people to satisfy, Todd and his staff were able to deliver vibrant and authentic flavors, crisp and fresh foods, and a wonderfully hard-working and courteous staff. He and his staff were able to bring the food in on time, dilligently work to make sure that everything stayed on scheduled, and that everyone was completely satisfied throughout the night. Where to begin! From the beginning my fiance and I completely fell in love with Todd and Judy. We initially heard about Chopin Mon Ami through our venue and The Knot and scheduled an appointment to meet with them. We were also told what amazing catering service they are known for providing throughout Galveston. My fiance grew up in the hill country of Texas and REALLY wanted to have a BBQ rehearsal dinner as he had been working in Germany up until the week before our wedding. Todd was so passionate when talking about his food that it sold my "hard to sell" fiance and we ended up hiring them for both the Rehearsal Dinner and actual wedding. We had a seated dinner for about 125 guests and everyone raved about the food. I always wanted my wedding food to be special and not just the usual bland chicken or beef and Chopin Mon Ami went above and beyond my expectations. Todd and his staff were incredibly professional and attentive throughout the entire evening and they definitely made our wedding that much more special. If you are on the fence for a catering company, Chopin Mon Ami is an easy choice! You won't be disappointed.

Chopin Mon Ami is full service! Todd and Judy helped make our wedding day perfect. Todd and Judy helped with every aspect of our wedding. They referred us to great vendors and even helped us find an alternative venue at the last minute. 5 days before our wedding we went to Todd and Judy with our concerns that our outdoor wedding was going to get rained out with a 100% chance of rain. Todd and Judy jumped in their cars and took us to 2 available venues. We were able to form an alternate plan with their help and which was executed 3 days before the wedding. We had a cajun-themed cocktail hour with passed boudin balls, shrimp-and-grits spoons and seafood gumbo shots. For our appetizer we had a raw East Coast oyster shucking station - which the guests loved. Then for dinner we had a mixed salad, tuscan stuffed chicken, beef tenderloin medallions, mixed grilled vegetables and truffle mac-and-cheese. I don't know which I liked more - the steak or the chicken - they were both delicious! Everything was perfect and we got SO many compliments on the food. I would highly recommend Chopin Mon Ami to other brides or anyone else looking for an on-point catering company.

Absolutely amazing service! The food was amazing & the staff was on top of everything. Todd was available whenever I needed him & made our wedding perfect. I would highly recommend using them. They are a full service catering company. Anytime I was running low on a drink I had another in my hand before I knew it. I was the wedding planner for my sister's September 2015 wedding and we chose Todd with Chopin Mon Ami. It was the best decision! Todd and his team instantly make you feel like family and works with you to create a custom phenomenal dining experience (yes, experience!) Todd and his staff and connections saved the day!! We had planned a beach-side wedding for our daughter on West Galveston island. When we awoke on the wedding day we had torrential rain that threatened to cancel the whole thing. Todd and his mother were awesome from the first meeting. They were cordial and helpful through the entire process. The food was excellent and was a hit with the wedding guests. I would recommend them to anyone wanting an "Island" wedding.

Oh boy, where do I even start? I'll start with when I first talked to Todd. I sent an email inquiring about their catering services. Todd called me within 10 minutes of me sending my email. I knew right of the bat that Todd was someone I could definitely get along with and work with. He was straight forward and didn't try to beat around the bush. I gave him my budget and he made suggestions to fit my budget, I am so glad we listened, it was better than I even dreamed my food would be. But it doesn't stop there. He didn't just provide an amazing, delicious, beautiful dinner, but he made sure that my visions came to life. He helped us with our linens and decorations, he took some of the most memorable pictures of my father and I that I will cherish for the rest of my life. He was 100% amazing. Our guests were raving about how delicious our meal was, as well as the snacks during cocktail hour. His mom Judy is also amazing, they are hands down the A team in Galveston, TX. First let me begin by saying Todd Schott and his mother Judy at Chopin Mon Ami are the most honest, caring and fun business people I have ever dealt with. They truly wanted to help us make our wedding the best it could be and bent over backwards to help us get there. I say they saved us from disaster because with less than five weeks to go we had to change our venue and Todd was there to not only help us find a new venue but to give us leads to the most honest vendors on the island. The wedding was everything promised and more which was catered by Chopin mon ami in galveston Texas. Todd schott and his partner Judy , (his mom) were awesome. The venue held over 200 guests and required a conversion from church to reception hall which they accomplished in record time!the professionalism of the staff was exquisite , four star in every way. The appetizers were unique and delicious The dinner consisted of brisket and sausage with a Texas twist , might I say I am still dreaming of that sauce. Thumbs up to my favorite caterers, thank you Chopin Mon Ami!!!

This was my first time working with Chopin Mon Ami Catering. They were outstanding! From the planning process to the day-of execution, Todd Schott and his staff were excellent. Todd and Judy were more than wonderful...They went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did they make amazing food for the day of but coordinated everything...they made my life seem less stressful and allowed me to enjoy my time with my new Husband. Chopin Mon Ami did my catering, cakes, and all my rentals for my wedding on Tiki Island (near Galveston) with about 100 guests. It was all fantastic! I had a brunch buffet with a wide assortment of food. The servers and bartenders were very professional and the food was delicious - I got many compliments from my guests, even for weeks after the wedding! The bride's cake was beautiful and delicious as well -- some of the best icing I've ever had :) The groom's cake was actually several key lime pies, and they were simply amazing (and gorgeous). Todd and Judy were incredibly accommodating -- anything I requested (even on the day of the wedding) was met with the response "We will make it happen!", and they did! They were both extremely pleasant to work with every step of the way -- our planning meetings and tastings were a lot of fun, and they completely put me at ease. I didn't feel stressed about anything I left in their hands. On the day of the wedding, Todd even drove the catering truck through flooding in Galveston to get everything there on time! He also was instrumental in keeping everything on schedule while we were setting up and during the reception (including coordinating with the band), which was such a huge help during the whirlwind of the big day. I highly recommend Chopin Mon Ami with no reservations!!

The caterer's Chopin Mon Ami took care of everything for us on that special day. If it wasn't for them we all would have been nervous. Everything had to be brought in. The wedding was at the beach. The food was superb, the staff was attentive to everyones needs. The cake was also supplied by the caterer and our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how good that was as well. If anyone has a wedding in Galveston, Texas please contact this catering company, you will not be disappointed. They became like family to us. We were so happy with everything they did. My daughter and her husband could not have had a better day thanks to Chopin Mon Ami.

We wanted to find a local caterer in Galveston, Texas who would work with us and provide a quality product. We contacted four prospective caterers and requested that they provide us with a tasting of a couple of their entrées that projected the quality of their food. Most of them did not want to provide a tasting unless they had a signed contract in hand. We told them no tasting, no contract or engagement. Todd at Chopin Mon Ami responded with a white linen meal for six at the first tasting. Todd was friendly and courteous. The tasting included salad, two appetizers, two entrees, bread, and butter on our schedule. We had three tastings that day; and Chopin Mon Ami did not skimp or try to get us to settle for just an appetizer on which to make our selection of a caterer. Chopin Mon Ami's food was by far the best of the local caterers we tried. When we made our decision to engage Chopin Mon Ami, we put down a deposit and then had Todd send us a listing of the possible appetizers, and entrees to choose for our wedding. About two months later, we had another tasting of an entrée and two appetizers. We changed one of the entrees (we had "bistro filet" and "Brazilian chicken"). Our appetizers were "spring rolls", "boudin balls", and a "fruit and cheese table" served during the cocktail hour. Also served with the entrees were mixed vegetables (grilled fresh squash, zucchini, and onions), potatoes, and a salad with candied pecans and three different dressings. Our guests commented that the food was excellent. I would concur. I even heard how good the food was in the weeks following the wedding. Todd was visible and made sure his staff and bartenders were working as needed. Todd did visit with the parents of the bride and groom as well as the bride and groom to make sure they did not need anything. When I was reading reviews on Chopin Mon Ami before we contacted them, I noted one negative review that commented that he was not responsive and did not communicate well with the bride and mother of the bride in that party. I had absolutely no difficulty reaching Todd or having my wedding planner reach Todd to set up a second tasting, coordinate times for setup, make menu changes, and even add additional guests within twenty days of the wedding. Chopin Mon Ami provided wedding services to other customers on weekends. We did not expect immediate return of calls. We did not expect him to drop everything and call us immediately. When we had immediate inquiries, we let him know and he or his staff would call us the same day. I did notice that he had his phone ring a number of times during our wedding. He looked at the call and then put his phone away. He told me the calls were from other customers, but he did not take them during a wedding. We had no problem working with Chopin Mon Ami in setting up tastings, working with them to obtain a fair contract, and making arrangements for payment. Chopin Mon Ami helped make our event a great one. There were plenty of compliments on the selection and quality of the food from appetizers for the cocktail hour to the main entrees. Chopin's pricing was fair and we were pleased with Chopin Mon Ami's quality and quantity of food. We would use Chopin Mon Ami again and we recommend them to brides and anyone looking for quality food and service at a fair price. I have had many guests ask me "who was your caterer" so yes their food is of the finest quality, along with the extra services they provide - like bartenders, servers, china dinnerware/glassware & silverware, and cakes too - and the prices that they quote is a brides "dream come true". Chopin Mon Ami was fantastic! Todd and Judy were so easy to work with, and were the BEST resource for evrything we needed in Galveston --from venu to flowers to vintage getaway car! Staff was courteous and energetic to the end of a perfect evening for 200+ guests. Presentation was top notch, food absolutely delicious, and service was impeccable. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of -- Todd even went out and got flip flops to replace the bride's 6" heels half way though the evening. Pciture perfect wedding!

Like many fellow knotty brides we like to do our research! I found Todd on here and him and his staff truly are 5 stars and rise above any brides expectations! He got to the venue at 9am and hand built a beautiful bamboo chuppah on the beach. The stuffed chicken and grilled snapper with veggies and salad was exquisite! I didn't have a coordinator so he helped with coordinating with all the vendors. Him and his staff were very professional and personable. Todd hand delivered our plates to our tables and made sure our glasses were always filled! I highly recommend Chopin mom ami for that dream wedding you've always wanted.

My wife Jill and I got married on board the Elissa in Galveston and we had our reception there in the museum. The professional staff at Chopin Mon Ami came in and set everything up and took care of my guests as if we were the only people on the planet. For dinner we had their bistro filet, tuscan chicken, vegetables, and roasted potatoes. The food was excellent!! Todd's chef was amazing and it was some of the best food I have ever eaten! Todd and Judy worked closely with our coordinator and made sure Jill and I did not have to worry about anything during our wedding and everything went perfectly! We had a little bit of a challenge with the venue due to the fact that the Elissa was actually under construction and the staff at the museum failed to tell us about it until it was too late, but the staff at Chopin Mon Ami made the best of a bad situation and made the place look beautiful! Five starts is not enough for these guys! I would recommend Chopin Mon Ami for all of your catering and cake needs!!!

SImply put, Todd and Judy created an experience we will remember the rest of our lives. When we met Todd, he warmly invited us in, sat us down, and took it form there. We let him know what we were thinking and he either said "I got you covered" or "I'lll do you one better." And he delivered. From organizing and setting up, to cooking and service, to tearing down and wishing us the best, Todd nailed it. Everyone we talked to after the wedding said how great the food was.
