My clients hired Cigar Stud Events for a wedding welcome party at the Canopy Hotel in West Palm Beach. Before the event, Emily and her team were professional and courteous throughout the planning process. They offered insight and guidance to ensure that we were selecting the appropriate package and add-ons to provide guests with an elevated cigar experience! On the day of the event, our live cigar roller, Williams, arrived early to setup and prepare for guest arrival. He was attentive and engaging with guests throughout the event! Cigar Stud was founded by Jennifer Noll and Walter Santiago early in 2012. This power couple has been in the cigar industry for over 5 years, not only creating their own cigar brand, Cremo Cigars, but adding sophistication to the cigar rolling industry. In 2012, Jennifer and Walter realized that there weren't that many companies offering cigar rolling services for personal and corporate events. And the ones that were offering services, lacked the upscale treatment that they thought customers deserved and thus Cigar Stud was born.

After a few brief conversations, I hired the Cigar Stud just 3 days ago after, Walter, the owner, told me he had provided services at our chosen venue. Well, our wedding planner i...

nformed me (and the venue confirmed) just this afternoon, that my daughter’s venue is a smoke free establishment and cigars are not permitted anywhere on the property. I immediately called Walter to inform him, and provided the email. I requested that he please refund me not only the deposit, but the FULL amount he so boldly charged me without saying so. I do not accept this unnecessary delay as he has not provided any cigars or cigar rolling services due to my daughter’s wedding still being 6 months away. He has not only ignored my fair request for a refund, but had the audacity to suggest that I go against the venues policies and keep him anyway? Scruple’s, anyone? He was also forward enough to give me other “options” instead of my deserved refund … ex: pass them out as parting gifts, talk to in laws, have it at another location, etc) as if he has a say in where and how my money will be spent. I hired the company so that our guests would experience a live cigar roller on the date of the wedding, NOT the date and location of his choosing. Save yourself the hassle in doing business with this very unprofessional company.

heir Certificate of Insurance, I was sent an invoice requesting additional amounts due so that they could retain insurance. As a company who provides a service for events, you would think they have insurance.. But that wasn’t even that big of a deal at that point. Now, the day of our wedding, I received an email from them stating we would need to provide our own 4-6 foot table, along with a tablecloth and chair. With the amount of things I had going on the morning of my own wedding, this added unnecessary stress to my day. It was unprofessional to spring that information on me the morning of. Luckily, I had the most amazing planner who took care of it for me with no problem. And then to top it off, the cigar roller showed up to our wedding late with no apology or even a warning that he was going to be late. Now, I will say though for the actual service of the live cigar rolling, our guests loved it. Hopefully Cigar Stud is able to make adjustments to provide better overall service for their future customers.

e require table and chair to be provided because every venue is different and we don't provide it for liability purposes. As we are a mobile service we only provide temporary certificates and each client is responsible for this payment.( Also explained on email). We have been in business for 10 years and have never had a problem with COI fees. The cigar roller arrived on time but he was stuck outside as the place had a gate that needed a code and onsite contact information was not the same person that you had as the planner meaning it was hard for us to communicate luckily she called and after that it took a while for her to send someone outside to open that gate that's why cigar roller was late. And if you had an event planner she should've communicated this with you. Really sorry this caused some stress the day of your wedding. ntastic. From the pricing, to communication, management, and then onsite service- everything was an elevated experience and exactly what we we were looking for!! The aesthetic CSE brings is also a huge vibe, they provided not only a professional, on theme dressed cigar roller, but also decor that added to the experience of each activation. Cigar rollers are engaging, and create a unique tailored experience for each guest. They provided an organized onsite management for the activations, who took the time to take photos and videos which they shared with us- this was incredibly helpful for our internal team! We will definitely be using Cigar Stud Events again!!!

They were beyond easy to work with, probably the easiest of all our vendors, and even moved their booth inside after cocktail hour, no questions ask. In the end, Cigar Stud was a HIT at our wedding! We have received countless compliments from our friends and family on the cigar station and, most importantly, the quality of the cigars! My relatives were so impressed by the cigars that they ended up taking extra ones home with them! Several of our guests that typically do not smoke ended up sitting by the cigar station and watching the cigars being made! A lot of them ended up trying their first cigar that night!
