Cigar Stud was founded by Jennifer Noll and Walter Santiago early in 2012. This power couple has been in the cigar industry for over 5 years, not only creating their own cigar brand, Cremo Cigars, but adding sophistication to the cigar rolling industry. In 2012, Jennifer and Walter realized that there weren't that many companies offering cigar rolling services for personal and corporate events. And the ones that were offering services, lacked the upscale treatment that they thought customers deserved and thus Cigar Stud was born.

After a few brief conversations, I hired the Cigar Stud just 3 days ago after, Walter, the owner, told me he had provided services at our chosen venue. Well, our wedding planner informed me (and the venue confirmed) just this afternoon, that my daughter’s venue is a smoke free establishment and cigars are not permitted anywhere on the property. I immediately called Walter to inform him, and provided the email. I requested that he please refund me not only the deposit, but the FULL amount he so boldly charged me without saying so. I do not accept this unnecessary delay as he has not provided any cigars or cigar rolling services due to my daughter’s wedding still being 6 months away. He has not only ignored my fair request for a refund, but had the audacity to suggest that I go against the venues policies and keep him anyway? Scruple’s, anyone? He was also forward enough to give me other “options” instead of my deserved refund … ex: pass them out as parting gifts, talk to in laws, have it at another location, etc) as if he has a say in where and how my money will be spent. I hired the company so that our guests would experience a live cigar roller on the date of the wedding, NOT the date and location of his choosing. Save yourself the hassle in doing business with this very unprofessional company.

I truly wish I could give an amazing review but I was not impressed with Cigar Stud. At the beginning they were very responsive and helpful which was great. Then when I requested their Certificate of Insurance, I was sent an invoice requesting additional amounts due so that they could retain insurance. As a company who provides a service for events, you would think they have insurance.. But that wasn’t even that big of a deal at that point. Now, the day of our wedding, I received an email from them stating we would need to provide our own 4-6 foot table, along with a tablecloth and chair. With the amount of things I had going on the morning of my own wedding, this added unnecessary stress to my day. It was unprofessional to spring that information on me the morning of. Luckily, I had the most amazing planner who took care of it for me with no problem. And then to top it off, the cigar roller showed up to our wedding late with no apology or even a warning that he was going to be late. Now, I will say though for the actual service of the live cigar rolling, our guests loved it. Hopefully Cigar Stud is able to make adjustments to provide better overall service for their future customers.

e require table and chair to be provided because every venue is different and we don't provide it for liability purposes. As we are a mobile service we only provide temporary certificates and each client is responsible for this payment.( Also explained on email). We have been in business for 10 years and have never had a problem with COI fees. The cigar roller arrived on time but he was stuck outside as the place had a gate that needed a code and onsite contact information was not the same person that you had as the planner meaning it was hard for us to communicate luckily she called and after that it took a while for her to send someone outside to open that gate that's why cigar roller was late. And if you had an event planner she should've communicated this with you. Really sorry this caused some stress the day of your wedding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Cigar Stud Events is the best in the biz!! I hired them for a festival in Miami this year at two separate activation areas, and all around our experience was fantastic. From the pricing, to communication, management, and then onsite service- everything was an elevated experience and exactly what we we were looking for!! The aesthetic CSE brings is also a huge vibe, they provided not only a professional, on theme dressed cigar roller, but also decor that added to the experience of each activation. Cigar rollers are engaging, and create a unique tailored experience for each guest. They provided an organized onsite management for the activations, who took the time to take photos and videos which they shared with us- this was incredibly helpful for our internal team! We will definitely be using Cigar Stud Events again!!!

This was the hit of the rehearsal brunch! A very nice, well dressed professional Cuban cigar roller showed up on time and was very personable with the crowd. I understand the cigars had the same high quality as their cigar roller. Would highly recommend for any event.

Our ONLY complaint was not being able to enjoy the cigars at our reception. It was an absolute nonnegotiable touch that my (now) husband had to have and Cigar Stud Events really delivered good quality cigars. A great way to wow your guests.

Simply the best... we could not be happier with the communication and service we received from Cigar Studs. From my first inquiry, they were prompt to respond and on top of it. Walter was amazing to work with... they adjusted as needed and all of our guests loved the personalized cigar bands, highly recommend them to add that extra highlight to any event. We actually ended up running out of cigars at the party because everyone loved it, so we had to order more to take home with us :)

I was so impressed with Cigar Studs! They are really such pros at not only the cigar/rolling business, but also in the process of events. We hired them for our wedding and everyone was so impressed and loved it. Those who are avid cigar smokers raved about the quality and those who weren't just loved the custom labels and originality of having something like this. They were beyond easy to work with, probably the easiest of all our vendors, and even moved their booth inside after cocktail hour, no questions ask. Would definitely use them again for any other event and highly recommend!

What an incredible experience! I have been working with Walter for the past 3 months prior to our 4/8/17 wedding. He was always available for phone calls, communicated well, and was overall very professional. Our cigar roller was amazing and handsome! Haha above all, the tobacco is of wonderful quality. Jennifer and Walter are AMAZING! Everything prior to and during our wedding was handled professionally! I am Cuban-American and thought that hiring a cigar roller would be a great addition to our wedding. After reaching out to a few companies, it was clear that Jennifer was by far the most professional, quickest to respond, and most reasonably priced! In the end, Cigar Stud was a HIT at our wedding! We have received countless compliments from our friends and family on the cigar station and, most importantly, the quality of the cigars! My relatives were so impressed by the cigars that they ended up taking extra ones home with them! Several of our guests that typically do not smoke ended up sitting by the cigar station and watching the cigars being made! A lot of them ended up trying their first cigar that night! Cigar Stud provided a top notch service! Our wedding was at the Cruz Building which they were able to setup the cigar roller and hookahs outside on the terrace. All of our guests really enjoyed the hookahs and all the cigars were gone by the end of the night. Walter and his team were phenomenal!
