AJ was fantastic! We used his portal to input our overall vision, met briefly with him by phone about a week prior, and the results hit our expectations to a T! Thank you AJ!!! We highly recommend.

I got married 2 months ago and we used Rob from Columbus Pro DJs. Rob called us a week before the wedding and let us know the timeline and what to expect from him. He really listened to our wants and needs and was so accommodating. I did not get off the dance floor all night and my guests all complimented the music and vibes so much! He got the guests involved with the walk ins and really set the high mood for the night. Rob even took some photos of us throughout the night and sent them to us the next week which was so thoughtful and fun to look at. I could not recommend them enough!

Chris and AJ were absolutely the best! They were very professional and responsive the whole way through. They made sure our requests were honored, and expertly filled in the gaps. We gave Chris a weird mix of music for the reception, and he ran with it and kept the party going all night long. During our planning meetings, AJ would bring up important things to think about that we'd missed, and offered expert advice based on his experience, which was really helpful. We would highly recommend them.

We used Columbus Pro DJs for our wedding and the service was great! The accent lights were a nice touch and the sound quality was great. Jeff was attentive to our needs as the Bride and Groom. He used our song selections as a guide and played music we enjoyed all night. He took suggestions from the crowd and some of our guests we never thought we would see dance were out there on the floor!

AJ did a fantastic job at our wedding. He navigated everything in a way that was so seamless and set the whole event up to run smoothly. AJ wasn’t cheesy at all. He played excellent music and moved things along in thoughtful ways. We definitely recommend!

It was great how we could go into the portal beforehand and list songs that we wanted to hear and those that we did not. Rob, our DJ did a great job matching the vibes we were looking for. He was really experienced and professional. He took the time to give us a phone call prior to our wedding to go over everything and ask us more questions about what we envisioned. Truly a great group and affordable too!

Professional, courteous and thorough in planning, double checking and follow through. We appreciated the adjust-on-the-fly flexibility as some elements of our day had to be shuffled at a moments notice. Music selection was spot on. Guests of all ages appreciated the musical variety.

The process started with AJ, he was professional and easy to work with! He then connected us with our specific event DJ which was Rob. Rob was the absolute best He listened to our desires on how we'd like the day to go and he definitely followed it to a "T"! He was very professional and made sure everyone was having a good time. Our outdoor wedding quickly became an indoor wedding after multiple pop-up storms began rolling through Columbus. Columbus Pro DJs were calm, cool and collected about the entire process of switching to plan B. Their patience and flexibility was incredibly comforting. When the music did finally begin, they executed everything just as we had discussed and kept our guests engaged and dancing all night long. Excellent experience overall and could not recommend them more.

Andy did a fabulous job at keeping the dancing going but also being polite with the interruptions for dances, cake, etc.! We had a great phone call the week before where I felt so comfortable having him DJ for our special day! We even threw a curveball at him to have a video speech be projected during dinner and he ran it flawlessly! Thanks Andy!

Columbus Pro DJs were absolutely amazing!!!!! AJ coordinated the event with us and was extremely detail oriented and extremely knowledgeable. Our DJ, Rob was outstanding!! We asked him to mix two songs for our first dance. Rob was able the create the mix and send it to us ahead of time for our approval. His music choices were exactly what we were looking for! We’re not fans of all the regular songs you hear at every single wedding. It was hard to take a break from the dance floor because song after song was amazing. Everyone kept coming up to us throughout the night to rave about the DJ. Just all around a really great experience. Their customer portal is easy to use, their communication is excellent, and by far the best value in price!

Pros: they handled the set up well and figured it out with the venue - about where to plug stuff in and where to place everything (but only after being prompted to discuss it with the venue directly). There was no problem with the quality of the sound during the ceremony or reception. Overall, the selected songs were within what we wanted. Cons: There was some weird misunderstanding and lack of communication which resulted in me having to double-check our first dance song the day of, when I got to the venue. The DJ also didn't really match the songs to the groups dancing (switching to slow songs while only a group of the bride and her friends remained on the dance floor, thus disbanding the group). Our requested songs were all played in random order at the end of the night, seemingly as an after-thought, instead of mixed in during the set.

AJ was absolutely wonderful! Throughout the whole planning process he communicated so well and made sure we had exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He was very personable and friendly. Everything flowed flawlessly thanks to his announcements and ability to keep people entertained and excited. The dance floor at our wedding was smaller, but it was packed! He even helped us do a private last dance at the end of the wedding. I cannot recommend him enough!

Chris did an amazing job at our wedding! He really knew how to read the crowd and there was not a single moment where the dance floor was empty. He was great to work with and I didn’t have an ounce of doubt that he had everyone covered for us!

Our wedding reception had a fabulous DJ and Photo booth team. Adam and Lauren kept the party going till the last song and kept the guests having a blast at the photo booth. Would highly recommend both to anyone looking for a professional and fun team.

Rob, the DJ for our wedding, was so engaging with the guests, helped keep the timeline moving, and was so respectful to our wishes on how we wanted the night to go. A DJ company I had booked unfortunately had to cancel a week before my wedding. AJ called me and his DJ, Chris, was available for my wedding. They were both so helpful and kind through my process. Chris was very respectful and fun during our wedding. My guests loved the music he played and he was so sweet to play their requests as well. I highly recommend Columbus Pro DJs. They are kind and very helpful!

The DJ was great! He kept the dance floor full and the planning site made the day seamless. All the guests loved to selections and he engaged with the whole wedding party and anniversary dance. He made the night so fun and perfect; the bride never stopped dancing !

We had such a great wedding with DJ Rob!! Guests said he was the best wedding DJ they have seen. He brought our wedding party vision to life! Big thanks to Rob and AJ for helping make our day so special!

Just make sure you don’t end up with Rob as your DJ. He was playing songs to keep the younger crowd somewhat in to it but refused to play anything to get the parents, uncles, aunts, etc. on the dance floor. When we requested a song, he literally laughed in our face. After 8 of us requested the same song, he finally played it but not before he made some shitty comment about how it was totally different. Definitely do not recommend if Rob is the dj.

DJ HP was a BLAST to have at our wedding reception! He was so kind and polite and made sure that everything ran super smooth the whole night! He also had such a fun and upbeat energy that kept the party alive. Our photo booth attendant Lauren was also great! She was so sweet and helpful with the photo booth all night and knew all the perfect filters to use for everyone! We recommend using Columbus Pro DJ's and requesting these 2 for your wedding day if you want a fun-loving crew leading the entertainment!

We could not have been more pleased with Matt as our DJ on Friday evening at the Everal Barn. He was exceptional and facilitated the evening beautifully. AJ was quick to respond to any emails/calls. Our wedding was different and AJ was attentive to every detail. Our DJ was Rob and he was fabulous. We had a long conversation the week before the wedding. He wanted to understand every aspect so that he "hit the mark" and believe me, he did. I am so thankful Columbus Pro DJs were available for our event because AJ and Rob are the ones that made our wedding perfect.

AJ made this process so easy! We recently had our reception on 8/21/21. AJ was willing to create our father/daughter dance song to be unique and start the party. The dance floor was never empty! He helped navigate us through the process. He was super responsive and super reasonable prices. The photobooth was also a hit!

AJ is so easy to work with when leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day everything ran super smooth and our guest had a blast dancing to his play list. Lauren did a great job helping with our photo booth! It was a hit with all our guests and I am so happy to get access to all the fun photos taken that night.

Hassan Lowery was outstanding. He read the room perfectly and mixed the music so everyone was dancing the whole night. He did amazing controlling the mic and multiple transitions based in our timeline. AJ really was all I could have asked for! I never understood why it's so important to have an experienced DJ until I worked with him. His insight saved lots of hiccups in our day that would have otherwise probably occurred. I realized your DJ is sort of like the glue of a wedding- so many people at your wedding depend on them to know the schedule: guests and other vendors. I would tell any prospective couple to go with AJ for his expertise, attention to detail, and personality. He made it easy. The entire day I didn't worry about him, the music, etc because I knew he had it under control. Exactly what you want on your wedding day. Thank you AJ!

The whole team at Columbus Pro DJs was fantastic! AJ was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I am a very "type A" bride so I appreciated the thorough planning forms and calls that were easy to fill out and easy to do and helped make the process smooth. Our DJ for the night was Rob and he was great! DJs are important always, but especially for a COVID wedding, we knew our DJ would be crucial to help keep the night rolling with some of the alternate activities we had planned since we weren't allowed a traditional dance floor. Rob was great in keeping the night going while also striking a balance between fun and keeping COVID safe and compliant. AJ and Rob were both personable, talented and great to work with - would highly recommend using Columbus Pro DJs!

We had a small wedding with an older crowd, so we felt there would not be much dancing. We still loved the music played, and the DJ made sure everything flowed beautifully. I did not want my wedding to feel like a sporting event, and I was very happy. Everyone had a great time.

He is such a friendly, welcoming guy, he made everyone on the dance floor feel so comfortable and it made for an amazing night from start to finish!! I think from the second the dance floor opened until the end of the night that dance floor was packed. He kept everything on track throughout cocktail hour/dinner/speeches and it went as close to flawless as you can get. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely awesome time at our wedding with Rob at the helm! All the music was perfect, as well as the direction for the order of events. People were dancing the entire time and we couldn’t be more thankful. The sound was great and the lights a nice add-on. Amazing job!

Rob was our DJ for our wedding and we could not be happier with the job he did! Everyone was out dancing the entire night and the energy stayed high the whole night. The order of things was smooth and efficient, and he did a great job guiding us through the night without being pushy at all. Rob made sure to have a personal call with us ahead of the wedding to make sure we were aligned on everything and get to know us a bit more, which was great. We had our reception at a brewery, which was a new location for Rob and for having never seen the location until the day of, execution of location, speakers, lights, etc. was perfect. Working with AJ to book and discuss logistics early on in the booking process was easy as well. They provide an easy to use program for selecting songs and were happy to accommodate any requests we had that weren't in there. Happy with our decision!

AJ and Rob were amazing to work with! I trusted AJ from the first meeting and knew that whoever our DJ ended up being, we were in great hands. Despite having serious bride brain and waiting until the last minute to select our DJ, I think we ended up with the BEST DJ possible!! We didn't speak to Rob until the week of the wedding, and we didn't actually meet him until the day of - but he was phenomenal! Our guests were wanting to mingle more than dance, and Rob knew just how to get them on the dance floor. He made sure everyone was happy and everything was flowing smoothly without having a dominating presence that we've seen some DJ's have. I cannot thank Rob and AJ enough for executing so flawlessly!

Columbus Pro DJs did a fantastic job at our wedding last week! DJ Jeff & AJ were both very easy to work with, and responsive. They did a fantastic job mic-ing the ceremony, and the music was amazing. They did a great job at taking our input with our playlist, and incorporating their own flavor into it -- the crowd loved it! The biggest hit of the wedding was the photo booth -- which they provided, and also brought fun items to use in the booth. We both agreed that this was such a cool touch to the wedding, and Columbus Pro DJs did such a great job setting it up and making it easy to accommodate. Can't wait to see the photos from our special day - thanks again!

These guys were great. Our specific DJ was Adam and he was able to work around our preferences and help us set up some great sequences around various songs and the presentation. We had Angie as our DJ and she was absolutely phenomenal! My mom wanted a specific song and Angie made sure it was a special moment for everyone. I could not give her or this company a higher recommendation! Our wedding was very unconventional and Angie made sure everything went smoothly and made us feel very welcome.

We are so happy with our experience with Columbus Pro DJs for our wedding reception in July 2019! Joe was our DJ for the evening and he was outstanding. He was extremely professional and was even flexible in allowing my brother to do the bridal party introductions. He was great at communicating with the guests, making announcements when events like cake-cutting and bouquet toss were happening. One surprise to me was bringing everyone together in a circle with my new husband and I in the middle for our last song of the night. It was a perfect way to end a perfect day! This DJ company was recommended to me by a friend who had them at her wedding. I was very pleased by Columbus Pro DJs. AJ was very personable and easily helped me through the process of setup, songs, and payments. Using the online template for songs, and through phone calls, I felt very confident and clear with the timeline. Jeff was our DJ for our wedding, and he was just great! He was flexible and able to quickly change the timeline when we wanted a quick 20 minutes for sunset pictures. I would definitely recommend this company for others.

First of all I would like to say that AJ the owner was amazing. He was great at communicating, he was friendly and professional and seemed truly invested in my wedding and as the Bride that is important. However our specific DJ was the disappointment. In the questionnaire that he had me fill out I was asked what kind of bride I was and I specifically put that I was a little OCD and a perfectionist and I had a specific vision for the wedding music. I wrote down the name and artist of each and every song I wanted played. My husband and I worked HARD on this list. The entire night I heard probably 10 songs that I requested. Extremely mad about this and I felt our time was wasted. During the actually ceremony I noticed we were waiting and waiting on something to begin. My wedding coordinator came in to where the girls were standing in like waiting to walk out and she asked “where is the DJ????” Extremely confused I had no clue. It was 5:30 and he was supposed to have been playing music at the ceremony since 5:00. Turns out he had left to change his clothes. Pretty sure I would have rather had my music playing with him in jeans and a T-shirt then no DJ at all. No one was looking at him! I am not necessarily mad at this part- but just a tip for future brides, talk about introductions of things. Our DJ stopped music and gave extremely long explanations on the microphone of what was happening. Like we were introduced and then wanted to immediately do our first dance and once we got to the dance floor we had to wait for him to talk about how we picked out a pretty song and how everyone should sit and watch and we were going to be sharing our first dance LIKE YES THEY KNOW COME ON! The whole night the whole bridal party commented on how the DJ just liked to hear his own voice. Same things happened for garter toss, dinner, speeches, bouquet toss, etc. He also announced that we were sneaking away for sunset pictures- kinda ruined the whole sneaking away thing. The last thing was a heart breaker. I had told my DJ I was going to come up to him and tell him when I was ready to have my dance with my grandfather. He is extremely sick and we didn’t even think he was going to make it to the wedding, but he did. It was getting a little bit late and my grandpa decided he was just too tired and needed to go. I ran up to the DJ and said we need to play my grandpas song right now! I got him to stay and helped him walk to the dance floor and on comes “lollipop” by lil Wayne. Instead of immediately changing it to our song he let the whole song play while EVERYONE was off the dance floor staring and me and my grandpa waiting patiently to share this dance together. No one was dancing, everyone wanted to see this special moment knowing what it meant and the DJ wouldn’t switch the song. I was LIVID. I would have been happier renting some good speakers and trusting someone with a playlist from my phone. Would have cost less too. AJ was awesome, just wish he was our DJ instead of this guy.

I don't know where to begin with expressing my appreciation for everything Columbus Pro DJs did to help make my daughter's wedding so special. AJ and Rob were presented with a challenge that was new to them, and they both went above and beyond to make it happen. My son is currently deployed and could not be at the wedding. I proposed the idea of doing a FaceTime call, and asked about hooking up to the DJ sound system and projection screen so that my son could participate and surprise the bride and groom with a live toast at the reception. When I initially discussed it with AJ, he made it clear that due to circumstances beyond his control in connecting a phone call half way around the world, he couldn't guarantee 100% that it would work. (I had a recorded version ready as a back up) Over several weeks, we exchanged several emails and texts figuring out logistics. Communication with them was always great, they were very speedy with responding. A week before the wedding, we did a trial run phone call, and it didn't work. The morning of the wedding, I turned my phone - passwords and all - over to AJ and Rob so that while we were busy with the ceremony they could continue to work on making it happen. Much to my surprise and delight, they made it work! My son was able to participate in the reception from the other side of the world, and the bride and groom were surprised as well! There is no way to thank AJ and Rob enough for making that happen. As far as the rest of the reception, they were fantastic. AJ and Rob are the perfect balance of energetic, fun, polite and professional. I would absolutely recommend Columbus Pro DJs for your event!

Columbus Pro DJ's DJ'd my wedding in October 2018 and they were fantastic! Both mine and my husband's side of the family really love to dance so having a great DJ was really important to us. Columbus Pro DJ's were really thorough in organizing the reception and gave us lots of options to choose from in regards to the music we wanted to play. Our specific DJ, Chris, was awesome! He kept the party moving along and kept my husband and I on a great timeline throughout the night. I cannot recommend Columbus Pro Dj's enough!

It has taken me almost two months to write this review. When beginning our search for a DJ, my husband and I agreed that all we needed was someone who could create a nice atmosphere and some dance music if some people wanted to dance (we had a Sunday wedding so we weren't expecting a huge party vibe). We saw that the reviews for Columbus Pro DJs were mostly good with some bad sprinkled in with complaints about communication. We naively continued to book Columbus Pro DJs. My husband's discussions with AJ were fine. We found him to be helpful but when it came to being assigned a DJ, our experience completely changed. My husband and I kept going back and forth on what song we wanted for our first dance. The day before our wedding we reached out to our DJ and let him know of our final decision. He confirmed that they had the correct song in their catalogue and changed our selection. Knowing this was a last minute change, we again followed up with our assigned DJ on the morning of our wedding and even during cocktail hour before our reception. Each time, he reassured us that he had the correct song. Upon meeting our DJ in person, he seemed disheveled and nothing like a "professional". When asking him questions that we had previously gone over with AJ (most were questions I shouldn't be answering on my wedding day anyways), he continuously cut us off and it was obvious he wasn't listening. Before our entrance into the reception, he went over all of the names. During the actual entrance, he managed to get most of the names correct but when it came to our entrance, he loudly pronounced my name incorrectly (he clearly said Katie instead of Kalie). Upon realizing he said my name wrong, he asked my mother in law if he should do it again. Luckily, she said no, since I don't know which is more embarrassing, being introduced incorrectly at our wedding or having to do it again. The music was fine during the eating portion of the reception. Our choices were mostly used and that was appreciated because we clearly did not trust our DJ. When getting to the first dance, my husband and I got up to dance looking forward to sharing this moment with our loved ones. The song we chose meant so much to us and we had practiced it in our living room the day before. As we walked to the dance floor, we realized that the DJ was playing the wrong song. Not wanting to make a scene in front of our guests, we both went along with it but it was no where near as special and we will never get that moment back. Thinking about it today still breaks my heart. The DJ seemed to know something was wrong after the dance and came over to us. We explained that he had played the wrong some. At first he denied it, but my husband told him that he not only called the day before and reminded him today, the DJ replied with "oh, that was you?". At that moment, I just had to walk away. Luckily my husband and I have wonderful friends that requested the song later on (although the DJ instead of letting it be a surprise, came and found us to ask about it). Honestly, I could give multiple other examples about how this "professional" DJ did not do his job correctly but those two instances are so rudimentary that to this day, it astounds me that he is even considered a "professional". By booking this company, you cannot be sure they will send a qualified person that can even perform the basics of the job.

I hired Columbus Pro DJs for my wedding in October and I am so glad I did! I was 100% satisfied with their services. AJ was very friendly and communicated well in the planning process. The prices were very affordable and flexible based on what you wanted/didn’t need. They helped us complete the “timeline” for our wedding. Kinsey was our DJ and he was so nice to us at our wedding! He was very attentive to our needs (including playing a lot of Taylor Swift for me) and did an awesome job doing all of the announcements and DJing. Our dance floor was crowded the entire night (all ages) and we got a ton of compliments on the music. Thank you so much Columbus Pro DJs for helping us throw a fun wedding!

Everything was good I even had a phone call to go over everything and create a time line and it was sent to me to confirm it. However they guy played a different version of the song I wanted to walk down the isle to and cut off the song for a unity ceremony that I specifically asked to be played entirely. I know these things sound small in comparison to the entire day but it’s not how I pictured our wedding to start with the wrong song and our special song for a unity cut off. In addition I felt like I was running my own reception they asked if I was ready for everything....that’s what the time line was for let the bride and groom enjoy not be bothered.

Columbus Pro DJ’s were so wonderful and professional we couldn’t recommend them more! They were very helpful in narrowing down our music, and making the reception memorable. Joe was unbelievably amazing! We had a minor snafu with the mics, and he fixed it right away with no problem at all. He was so caring over such an easy fix we felt very taken care of. Such a great experience with such a great staff.

We used Columbus Pro DJ's for our wedding on 9/22/18. I primarily worked with AJ for everything leading up to the event. He was very prompt in his responses, answered all my questions thoroughly, and walked through every detail of the event with me before turning us over to our DJ for the night. The day before the wedding, our actual DJ for the event made sure to reach out to confirm final details and run through the timeline again just to make sure everyone was on one accord. I really enjoyed working with Columbus Pro DJ's and would absolutely recommend them to any Columbus, OH bride needing a DJ.

I would like to take a second to sing the praises of Columbus Pro DJs -- Especially our DJ, Joe. He. Was. Incredible!!! EVERYONE at the wedding talked about how great he was. On top of his DJ duties, he also made sure that my husband and I were eating and staying hydrated -- He even made sure that I was able to have a gin and tonic at the reception when I was too busy to procure one for myself. My favorite part was at the end -- He gathered everyone on to the dance floor and played "Closing Time" -- Literally EVERYONE danced. My husband and I were crying, my parents were crying, our friends were crying. It was the PERFECT way to end the reception. I just can't say enough good things about him. We are some of the first of our friends/cousins to get married, and we will definitely be recommending your company (and Joe!) to them.
