This review is long overdue, but my husband and I got married in October 2025 and hiring Creative Foods Catering was the best decision we made for our wedding! We cannot say enough wonderful things about the husband and wife team of Michelle and Mehmet. It is so clear they have a passion for what they do! Michelle answered every single one of our (many) emails promptly and clearly communicated with us in the year before our wedding. Mehmet actually came to our home for our initial tasting and with his kind and calming demeanor, and great food, we immediately knew this caterer was our choice. We felt so lucky that we found a caterer that also provided linens and rentals -- their pricing is also very straightforward with no hidden fees. While we chose to provide our own alcohol at the wedding, we purchased the non-alcoholic mixers and ice package with Creative Foods and it was a life saver. Mehmet also helped us with batching the signature cocktails we made for our wedding. Big picture, we know that our day ran smoothly in large part thanks to Mehmet and his wonderful team. And yet, it is also the small things (a plate of our appetizers and champagne waiting for us in our dressing room after the ceremony so my husband and I could actually try our food before cocktail hour; helping to break down our venue and get our items packed and ready for return) that make Creative Foods stand out. Hire Creative Foods -- you will not regret it!

uly could not stop raving about how delicious everything was from cocktail hour to dinner! They also did an amazing job setting up the entire space. The culinary highlight was the filet mignon, which was out of this world. The service was impeccable. The entire staff was exceptionally kind and handled dinner service with grace and efficiency. r for our 73-person wedding at Carroll Hall in August, since the venue had both indoor space and an outdoor garden we wanted to take advantage of. The team went above and beyond in helping us figure out how that would work and what our customized menu should look like. Not only was the food extremely delicious and high quality, they executed the vision flawlessly, and somehow also at a fair price. Mehmet, Michelle and the rest of the team were very positive and kind spirited. Our guests wouldn’t stop raving about how much they loved all of the food. Weeks later, people are still telling us it was the best food they've had at a wedding! Even more, other vendors told us how much they enjoyed working with the Creative Foods team. Starting from the initial planning stages they helped us come up with a custom menu that fit our needs for dietary choices, and they were very flexible in coming up with new food dishes they did not have on their menus. Creative Catering worked with us and were extremely helpful and are incredible at what they do. As for the wedding day itself, they were extremely organized, and the food was excellent / fresh / hot, and we have gotten so many compliments from our guests that we had amazing food and beverages/bar service. The catering and wait-staff and bartenders were also phenomenal: they were extremely professional and courteous and so happy for my wife and I on our wedding day. We truly felt like we received five star restaurant service at our wedding. On top of the delicious food and great service from start to finish, Creative Foods was an excellent value and we definitely received what we paid for and even MORE. I highly recommend Creative Foods for anyone that is getting married in the tri-state area. You won’t regret it!

with Mehmet and Michelle on our special day. Not only did they help make an NYC wedding affordable, the service and food were stellar across the board. From the special at-home tasting to their responsiveness/ease of working together to their diverse menu choices to taking such care of everything on the actual day - you can really tell they truly care about all of their clients and do their best to make each event as special as can be. In addition to our own positive feedback, we received so many compliments about the food from the guests as well - the appetizers, filet mignon and desserts were particular knock-outs, and guests were also so grateful CFC was accommodating to any special needs. On top of that, maybe the best thing about CFC is how KIND they are. Mehmet continued to check on us throughout the night, and all of the staff were incredibly helpful and sweet to our guests all evening - this is the kind of team you want on your side to cultivate an absolutely special day. Our wedding in Brooklyn featured CFC sushi bar, which was a big hit during cocktail hour. We also had family style dinner service which was a fan favorite as it allowed guests to enjoy all entree options. Michelle and Mehmet were always so easy to get in touch with and were very accommodating of our requests. I will never forget how they put together a small to-go platter of all the food from our special day, which we were able to enjoy late at night after all the celebrations were over. It was so thoughtful and the most delicious late night snack. Thank you Mehmet and Michelle!

rt with the food because of course that's top of mind when hiring a caterer. Everything on the menu was every bit as delicious as what we sampled at our tasting, from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the dessert station. In between, of course, was the dinner service and the chicken and salmon both got raves from our guests. My personal favorite item on the menu though had to be the pistachio and currant rice - highly recommend you go with that as one of your sides!
The food alone deserves a five-star rating, but what really set Creative Foods apart was everything else they did to support us in the lead up to our wedding day and on the day itself. Michelle was incredibly thorough - we exchanged more than 50 emails, ensuring no detail was left to chance. And on the day-of, the Creative Foods team did incredible work setting out the dishware (we had a particular arrangement for the menus and place cards in mind and they were super accommodating), managing the transition from the ceremony to the reception, and packing up at the end of the night.
Finally, amidst all of the craziness of the evening as we were running around making sure that all of our guests were enjoying themselves, we were so touched by the way the Creative Foods team was looking out for us, going out of their way to make sure we stopped to eat and make time for ourselves. That, I think, really speaks to how far Creative Foods goes to making your wedding everything you hoped it would be.

The food was absolutely outstanding and so plentiful. Creative Foods offers so many more choices than the other caterers we inquired with, at a very reasonable price for NYC. Our guests raved about the food, and everything was prepared perfectly! One of the highlights for us was the included tasting - we did this in May before our October wedding, and Mehmet came to our apartment and cooked all of our chosen menu items for us to try. It felt like having a private chef, and we so appreciated getting to try everything since in the whirlwind of the wedding day we didn’t always take the time to eat!
Communicating with Michelle and Mehmet in the lead-up to the wedding was a dream as well. They were so responsive, helpful, and receptive to our many requests.
Overall, we had an incredible experience with Creative Foods and I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks for making our day so special (and delicious)!

heard from multiple guests raving about the food, specifically the cocktail hour food. The sliders from cocktail hour were a hit and were the best sliders some of our guests have ever had! I have allergies, and they made sure to make all the food very accessible to anyone with allergies and prepped me a plate of cocktail hour food (I wish I could have eaten it all, but bride duties called :). And Mehmet, particularly, was an absolute joy to have around. He took care to make sure we always had food set aside and that servers would find us to ask if we needed anything (if he wasn’t doing that personally). It was an incredible burden lifted off and we definitely were not too distracted to enjoy all the delicious nibbles brought by or left for us at our table.
We had the most amazing night and cannot thank them enough for all that was contributed to it. But I’ll do my best by saying: Thank you, we appreciate you so deeply, and feel that this event was made into the most magical evening thanks to you and your team. We love Creative Foods Catering!!!

From the passed apps and the food stations at cocktail hour, to the three course meal they beautifully presented for dinner, we had endless people RAVE about the food stating comments as bold as "this is the best meal we have ever had of all the weddings we have attended." The service was incredible, efficient and fast and every single dish came out hot and perfectly flavored. Mehat was in attendance the entire night ensuring me and my husband were content and taken care of, as well as all of our guests. People say that you don't eat as a bride and groom, but we were able to eat all night due to their service, and we enjoyed the food very much.
We appreciated their attentiveness at our wedding and that they set aside dishes and drinks for us as bride and groom after our ceremony. They had food delivered to us quickly at our sweetheart table and we felt well nourished all night.
Finally, considering the price of weddings in NYC we are thankful for Creative Foods existence for us to be able to afford our wedding in our venue of choice. We are thankful they could be part of our day.

At our wedding, nearly every plate was clean after dinner and multiple guests commented on how outstanding the food was. Not to mention the service - the Creative Foods team is fantastic. Michelle helped me endlessly during planning with questions about gluten-free meals, beverage selections, etc, etc and the attention to detail was so clear that I wasn't worried at all on the day, and it turned out perfectly.

Michelle was also very responsive over email whenever we had a question or concern, and directly worked with our day of coordinators to finalize the floor plan for the wedding day.
On the actual wedding day, our guests were raving about the food, especially the pistachio lamb chops, the filet mignon, and the dessert shooters! Michelle was also kind enough to set aside a sample of the hors d'oeuvres and spreads for me and my husband at our sweetheart table, as we were too busy running around during cocktail hour to sample them. Creative ran such a tight ship from beginning to end, and the service was absolutely impeccable. Highly recommend.

Mehmet came to our apartment and served my husband and I our cocktail dishes, our dinner choices, and our dessert. It was so nice to do a taste testing in our own home and he had even set up the plates in their actual presentation to show you how the guests will see them on the day of.
On the actual wedding day, Mehmet went beyond and above as an owner of a catering business. He actually found my husband and I in the stairwell where we were trying to hideout and eat to make sure we were hydrated and having everything we needed (so nice!). Creative foods servers also came to the stairwell and made sure we got to try all the hors d'oeuvres! Most brides have told me they've never got to try most of their food on their own wedding day, but Creative foods made sure we did! Mehmet also made sure to pack us our dinner to make sure we would be able to try everything the day after just incase we couldn't on the day of. Truly IMPECCABLE hospitality and service by Creative Foods Catering. Please look nowhere else for your catering needs, these guys are the real deal!

amazing. Our tasting was personal and lovely where they created a private dining experience at their upstate NY location. Throughout the year, they were always patient, detailed and responsive with me (the anxious bride) when I needed to make changes to things or had general questions.
The day of our wedding, Mehmet and the entire team were so attentive and helpful, working wonderfully with our day of coordinator. Everyone got their food promptly and not even exaggerating, ALL of our guests could not stop telling me how this was the best food they ever had compared to other weddings they have been to. And they absolutely LOVED our signature cocktails (Manhattan & Strawberry Margarita). Mehmet was also consistently checking in on me and my husband throughout the entire night to make sure we were having fun and everything was running smoothly for us.
I cannot recommend Creative Foods Catering more for weddings and just events in general. The food, the staff, the bartending, the set up of our entire space-- everything was so personal and warm. They made our wedding day so magical and it was truly PERFECT. Thank you Michelle & Mehmet!!

They were so flexible and responsive with our requests and also gave feedback and advice when asked. Our guests truly loved the food and the dessert bar is such a fun and delicious touch! We worked with Creative Foods at The Bordone LIC (a raw space) in which they helped bring our vision to life. On the day of our wedding, there was a heavy downpour right before the ceremony began. Mehmet and his team helped to make sure the ceremony chairs were brought inside and kept dry and then set up right before the guests arrived. They really made our day!

e pandemic unfolded in March 2020 so we did not get a chance to do a tasting then. We ended up postponing our wedding to August 2022 and CFC was so supportive throughout those 2 years. We ended up having our tasting in the spring of 2022 at their beautiful tasting room and had an incredible time. We did end up asking for special changes to the menu to better reflect our culture and they were so flexible and receptive. During the weeks leading up to our wedding, Michelle was incredibly helpful! She communicated so many important details via email and managed our rentals order. On the wedding day, the food was delicious and hot! The CFC team worked very well with our venue and coordinator and the service their staff provided was wonderful! People often underestimate how much the staff can impact the guest experience. All of our guests raved about how great and kind all of the waiters were! Kudos to CFC for providing such amazing food and service! Thank you!!

The crab cakes and pasta station were my favorites and my guests could not stop raving how amazing our wedding went. The presentation of the food looked so elegant and I loved how they set-up the various stations such as the dessert and cheese/fruit station. They even helped with the set-up of our signature cocktail signs. Their team is fantastic and was so attentive for the day of the wedding. From the first tasting, which included Mehmet traveling to our apartment and preparing everything in our tiny NYC kitchen, through to the to breakdown the night of the wedding, it was perfect. Coordinating with them was seamless, and they were so responsive through the entire process. The food was absolutely delicious (we had lots of guests tell us it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding!), their staff was incredibly attentive to all of our guests, and they executed our wishes perfectly. reat price - our guests absolutely loved the food. The coconut shrimp and tomatoes bruschetta at cocktail hour were crowd favorites and I had guests specifically mention how delicious these were. I also loved being able to add some Asian cuisine with a sushi station as well. Their staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and professional, and made sure my husband I ate between socializing by bringing cocktail hour food to our suite after the ceremony and a dessert plate to our sweetheart table.
