We had the pleasure of working with Abi on our wedding day. It was the most magical day of our lives - largely in part due to Abi and her fabulous team. From the beginning stages of browsing for a photographer to our big day to updates throughout the editing process, we have nothing but absolute great things to say about Cupcake Photography. The existing portfolio is what drew us in, but the service, passion, and professionalism is what sold us. Abi was also very helpful in the moments leading up to the wedding. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about working with Abi!! She did both our engagement photos and our wedding day and exceeded our expectations. Abi is extremely organized and prepared and as a very Type-A person I really appreciated this! We communicated before both events on my ideas and vision were, traded inspo pics, and she sent prep lists for me so I could have the appropriate details and items ready to go to make for smooth sessions. Overall I felt so prepared and calm working with Abi. Our wedding ceremony was scheduled to be outside and we ended up having severe weather day-of. Also, I was running behind in hair and make-up for our first-looks. My husband and I worked with Abi on my bridals and our wedding day. From the initial consultation, I knew our photography experience with Abi and team was going to be amazing. Abi was professional, quick to respond to emails and texts and made it a fun experience with her outgoing, bubbly personality. During the bridals, Abi was more than a photographer. She held my bouquet, adjusted my veil and helped with my hairpiece and she made a point to keep my dress and veil as clean as possible given the outdoor setting. My experience with Abi was 100% head-to-toe amazing. From Day 1, I knew right off the bat I wanted to work with her. On our initial consultation call I still remember her saying "Girl, it's YOUR wedding you can do whatever YOU want." As someone who tends let outside pressure from friends and family bother me, it was the type of energy I needed to hear. On top of that, Abi's personality is so kind-hearted, gentle, genuine, sweet, and her sense of humor is the cherry on top. We got to spend a lot of with her during our engagement session, bridal session, and on wedding day and she made us feel so at ease and relaxed making for such beautiful and romantic photos. This review is long overdue! I can't believe it has been 3 months since our wedding! I want to thank Abi with Cupcake Photography for the best wedding photos! It was a pleasure to work with her! She was so easy to communicate with and so organized! I recommend her to everyone we know! We had a mishap happen the night before the wedding where we had to change our meeting location. She worked with us and gave us extra tips. I need to start thinking of another event where I can work with her. Thank you Abi!

Who we hired to photograph our wedding day was a huge priority, second only to the venue. Our venue was very new at the time, and I was hoping I might be able to see some inspiration photos of it online through tagged photos- which is how I had the fortune of stumbling upon Abi. She was truly a godsend to us! We had a short engagement, and her ability to begin working with us right away was so helpful. From the very first call, we loved her!! She and I got along like longtime friends. Abi was able to give us recommendations for every other vendor we needed, and we ended up using quite a few of her (excellent!) ideas. My husband is very uncomfortable in front of a camera, but after looking at our engagement photos, you would never know it! Abi knew how to make both of us comfortable in HOT south Texas summer conditions- that takes talent! My bridals were also sweltering and even though the heat was getting the best of me, Abi totally understood and helped keep me calm and relaxed through it all. Many laughs were had along the way! And then of course- our wedding day. WOW. That’s the only way to describe it. With our 1st anniversary this week, it’s been on my mind a lot, and I’ve found myself staring at the photos daily. Her eye is amazing, and the photos capture the love, excitement, and joy we felt perfectly. She is extremely professional, her second shooter was so sweet and helpful, and for this type-A bride Abi was everything I needed and more. No day is perfect- but dang it if Abi and our collective team didn’t give it their absolute all, and it shows in their work and the day they produced. Abi, thank you so much. Sometimes I think I have regrets about some parts of the day, but never about you, and never about the photos that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. What a gift you’ve given to us both. I first contacted Cupcake Photography online after seeing Abi’s beautiful work on Instagram. Even through email, she was so easy to talk to! From emails alone, I already knew she would be this extra sweet, bubbly and kind person. Once we had our first zoom call, we instantly clicked. I felt like I was talking to a friend that I’d known for years. And I knew she’d be the one to capture our wedding day. I let Abi know these would be our first professional photos together and we were a bit nervous. She reassured me that she’d talk us through everything and make it fun. And she definitely did! We had our first session for engagement pictures and we had a great time. The nerves quickly faded and we had a blast. During this session, we really got to know each and just enjoy the moment. We laughed, we joked and we were so happy that Abi made us feel comfortable. I felt like we were Besties and I couldn’t wait for our next meeting. Our next session was Bridal Portraits. Oh em gee. By this time I felt way more confident in front of her camera. The weather this day was perfect and she made the afternoon an unforgettable one. She was so patient as we adjusted for each shot in a new area. Abi is that bestie that hypes you up to work the camera. It was the absolute best! She’s also very detail oriented, which I appreciated so much. Dress not fluffed to perfection? She’s there. Veil looking a mess? She’s got it. Accessories not laying right? She’s got you! Wedding day was here in a blink of an eye and as soon as Abi arrived, I felt this sense of relief. Her second shooter, Jen, was also so sweet and nice to everyone as well. They are definitely two peas in a pod and you can just tell they truly enjoy working along side one another. There were many hiccups throughout wedding day and Abi + Jen reassured me everything would turn out just fine. All night they were so wonderful and so respectful to everyone. They both helped the night continue to flow smoothly and we will never forget that. My emotions after receiving each of these galleries; my goodness! So many happy tears. We were overcome with gratitude. We were beyond thankful for everything Abi did for us. From the check in texts, to our emails, our meetings for sessions in between and keeping us on time during our wedding day. Abi is a very kind, humble, professional, honest and extremely talented individual. It’s clearly evident that she has such a passion for photography. She made this entire process easy and very enjoyable. I could literally go on and on about Abi and how incredibly sweet she is. I felt like I could talk to her about anything! After everything, we consider Abi a wonderful friend. One thing I learned during the wedding process is this: Photographs are one of the only things left to remember your special day. We will undoubtedly cherish them for a lifetime and share them with our children one day. Getting to relive our entire day by going through our photos is something we hold very dear to our hearts. Cupcake photography photographed our April wedding at the Westin Riverwalk hotel located in downtown San Antonio and exceeded our expectations! We first contacted Abi after seeing her work on Instagram. The quality and style of her images was exactly what we were looking for. After seeing her personality shine in her reels and videos, I knew I would connect very easily with her. She is genuinely kind, easy to get a long with, and hilarious! After our first Zoom meeting, we knew we found our match. Abi’s vibe was exactly what we were looking for in terms of style and personality. She made us feel comfortable right away which was important , especially for my husband, who can be awkwardly shy when it comes to taking photos. Throughout the planning process, Abi was always willing to help with any questions. A month before our wedding she assisted with putting together a detailed photography timeline for us which helped so much as we were able to mentally prepare ahead of time. On the wedding day was the first time we got to finally meet Abi in person and it truly felt like we were working with a long time friend. Her and Jennifer had a way of just making us feel calm on such a hectic day. Everything went by so fast, and Abi stayed focused and on task the entire day. She moved swiftly through the portrait sessions, knew when to blend into the background, and when to assert herself to get the best pictures. Abi and Jennifer worked seamlessly with our videographer team as well. We are so happy with the way our photos turned out and will forever cherish the memories. A million thank you’s isn’t enough. From our first zoom consultation me and Abi clicked. She is SO SWEET and emphasized right away that this day and these photos are all about me and my husband. Which honestly is so impressive because as the talented artist she is she really made it about us and other photographers I talked to really talked more about themselves and their style. The passion she puts behind her work overflows to passion for her couples and their family. Her work is incredible. It’s timeless and she has such a way of capturing these special moments, you could really feel the energy of the day looking at our wedding photos. Abi was such a great photographer to work with. Her first session with us was our engagement photos and from the start it felt like it was our 10th photoshoot with her. Oh my goodness, I have so much to say and could probably go on and on about our amazing experience working with Abi! I remember being so incredibly stressed to find a wedding photographer. After searching through Instagram, I came across a couple of wedding posts with different photographers tagged. I decided to look at their profiles to look at their work and Abi immediately stood out. Her work embodied so much talent and I could sense her passion through her profile. We ended up deciding to contact Abi and ultimately decided to have her photograph our engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures. I remember being so nervous for our engagement session because photo sessions were so out of my comfort zone. However, when we met Abi at our engagement session, it felt as if we knew her our entire lives. She was so warm and welcoming. She knew just what to say to make us feel comfortable and confident in our poses and during our entire engagement session. Then came my bridal session and Abi just knew how to hype me up. Of course, next came our wedding day. My stress levels were off the charts that day but Abi was such a big help in keeping me on track and she took such great care of my husband and I. She went above and beyond for us that day. From her giving me a protein bar because I was having hunger pains to her capturing the moments I visited my dad’s gravesite with my husband after our wedding ceremony. I don’t even know where to start. Abi is so beyond amazing. She first caught my attention with her name cupcake (So cute) but then i saw her pictures and was obsessed. I knew i needed to have her photograph my wedding and not only did she meet my expectations, she surpassed them! She is an amazing and talented person with the biggest heart. How do I give Abi more than 5 stars? It’s hard to express in words how amazing she is both as a person and as a photographer. Cupcake photography saved our wedding! Two months before our wedding, my (now) husband and I were left without a photographer and faced what seemed to be a huge bump in the road for our big day. Abi is such a sweetheart and is so amazingly talented! After meeting her she’ll feel more like a close friend than someone you are hiring. We’ve used her for many important occasions over the years. I got to see Abi and her husband, Ivan, in action as the photographers for one of my best friend's weddings. I loved their positive energy and how they were able to wrangle the wedding party, family and friends with ease and grace. Not to mention, their stunning, dreamy, romantic photos! I knew that when my time came, I had to book Cupcake Photography. After our consultation, Abi photographed our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits and of course, Abi and Ivan photographed our wedding. I will admit to being a very picky person when it comes to photographs, especially of myself. However, Abi and Ivan have such a natural talent to bring out the best in people. Whether that be from a literal physical angle, or getting people to relax in front of the camera and show the true happiness inside of them. Choosing Abi was the best decision! Abi photographed my best friends wedding, after looking through her Instagram I asked my friend to contact Abi if she would be be willing to travel to my hometown about two hours away. Abi immediately responded back to my friend, the date was available and without hesitation Abi said yes! She had no clue where Eagle Pass was but still agreed to head out that way to photograph my wedding. Abi was very flexible with payments, which greatly helped! Abi helped me create a wedding day itinerary which definitely worked out perfectly! Abi made sure to capture all the pics I asked her to. Abi definitely has patience, not only would I bug her but my sister and mom would as well. The day we met to consult it was as if Abi and I had been friends and were just meeting up for coffee. Abi is very friendly, understanding, and most importantly Abi loves what she does and gives it 110%. A day or two later Abi already had teasers for me to view. Her work leaves you speechless. Everyone who has seen my engagement session and wedding photos have said nothing but positive things. Abi will also be photographing my brothers wedding next year in March. If good quality photographs are important to you, Abi is the one to pick! I would totally recommend 10/10.

Abi is exactly the kind of person you want by your side for your special day. Not only are her pictures beautiful and romantic, but she has a way of supporting a couple and becoming like family (even to your family and friends). My husband and I don't like taking photos, but Abi did an awesome job about making us excited for our wedding pictures. She helped me drag my big dress around a national park and even helped me in the ladies room! What a trooper! She and her husband did our destination wedding. They took on the adventure to drive us for hours for our pics and we couldn't be more grateful. Ivan, her husband is the sweetest. They gave us our privacy when needed and space to be in the moment yet kept our energy up when we needed it even with snacks. She is so professional, learning all about our destination and even finding great spots before our special day. You can't go wrong choosing cupcake photography ! Abi took our engagement pictures and our wedding day pictures. Not only did she makes us feel super comfortable, but she helped us choose the most amazing place for our engagement pictures. She is so creative and took the most breathtaking pictures for our wedding day. We couldn't of asked for more. Abi took the most amazing pictures during the ceremony and reception. Most of the pictures of things that I didn't want to miss or forget about. She was incredible with communicating with us as well as being very flexible. I recommend her to everyone I know!

Abi is awesome!! The minute I saw her work on her website I knew I wanted her to be our photographer and she did not disappoint! From our very first meeting she was very professional but at the same time approachable as if we've always known each other which made our session with her fun and enjoyable! The engagement photos came out great! But OMG the wedding photos! Abi captured so many great moments throughout our day that I am so grateful to have had her photograph for us. I now have many wonderful photos that will last me a lifetime and remind me of our special day each time I walk past our many prints that I have framed on my walls.

Abi has been an absolute dream to work with. We took engagement photos a few months ago with her and they are incredible! She will be doing my bridals as well as our wedding day photos and I just can't wait to see what everything looks like once it's all done! Abby Perez of Cupcake Photography is as sweet as her company name implies! She met with me at Starbucks before I put down a deposit and I knew as soon as I met her that she was the photographer for us! My fiancé and I have never had professional photos taken of us together and we weren't quite sure what to expect. Abby put us at ease with her relaxed manner, sense of humor, and knowledge of photography. She promised that it would be fun and it was even more wonderful than we could have imagined! She even fixed my hair when it was sticking to my face because it was so warm out and reminded me when to reapply some lip gloss. She is very creative and suggested poses for us that never felt forced. She worked with any suggestions we had and made sure that the groom felt as special as the bride. Our photos were edited and back to us faster than I had hoped. We are beyond happy with the results! It has truly been a pleasure. Thank you, Abby! :)
