Liza and Mark work with every skill level. I loved our dance they taught us! We were involved in every decision of the dance as well. I’d recommend them any time!

We booked a few dance lessons with Liza and Mark a couple of weeks before our wedding. They were amazing to work with. In just a couple of weeks, they choreographed a perfect dance for our first dance and taught us the moves we needed to make our first dance so special. They were so much fun to work with and we plan to continue taking dance lessons with them in the future. I highly recommend booking Liza and Mark for your wedding dance lessons!!

Liza and Mark helped us choreograph our First Dance, from teaching us basic dance moves and stances, to when to fade the song and how to enter/leave the dance floor gracefully. They were very professional and so extremely helpful for 2 non dancers. My husband and I were long distance and had very minimal time together to practice. They made the moves easy enough to remember but also elegant and romantic! We had a title of 4 dance lessons spaced out between 3 months. We are so pleased with Liza and Mark and so grateful for their help!

We went to Dance with Liza because we wanted an amazing first dance at our wedding. Liza and Mark were both amazing and the end result was BETTER than we could have hoped for. My wife and I have no experience with dance and they were super helpful and able to choreograph a dance that was perfect for the two of us. Having no dance experience, we didn’t really know what we wanted to do in our dance but Liza and Mark were able to show us some different options and move forward with our favorite moves. They were very thoughtful about the pacing, mood, and general vibe of the dance we wanted to create, and were able to help us through some challenging moves that we really wanted to do. They were also able to work with our tight schedule and did some lessons with us at late hours. We had so much fun learning our first dance with Liza and Mark, and would absolutely recommend them to our friends. Our first dance was one of the highlights of our wedding, and we surprised everyone (including our parents) who have never seen us dance.

My fiancé (now wife) and I took six dance lessons with Liza and Mark prior to our wedding. With minimal dance backgrounds she was able to train us to perform like we were on Dancing with the Stars on our big day! She does a phenomenal job at meeting you at your level and choreographing a dance that you can succeed at while stunning your guests. We practiced a few times a week, but she make sure to make the dance simple enough for us to feel confident. Her choreography, patience, and love for dance is what helped us feel at east when we felt stressful. Our guests were blown away by our performance! We are beyond grateful for our time with Liza!

Liza is super sweet and passionate about creating a quality first-dance for your wedding. My fiance' and I had hectic schedules and she was patient with us in scheduling classes that fit our busy weeks. Liza and Mark are truly incredible dancers, teachers, and choreographers. We hired them for our 1st dance and the finished product exceeded our expectations. Their passion for dance absolutely shows in their choreography and calm, encouraging teaching approach. Liza is an amazing teacher! My now husband and I took 5 lessons with her in the span of about a month and we learned so much. Liza is an incredible dance instructor! We accidentally waited until the last minute to book lessons, and she was still able to work her schedule to squeeze in lessons for us. Immediately, we could tell she was an absolute professional. She choreographed our whole first dance, and worked with us to make sure the moves were at our level and we were comfortable. Liza provided helpful feedback throughout and videotaped our rehearsals so we could use them to practice at home. When we performed our dance, our guests were so impressed! Everyone loved it! Liza and Mark are incredible!!! I would highly recommend them if you want to learn a dance routine for your wedding or just learn dancing for fun! I called Liza explaining that I wanted private classes to learn a dance routine with my fiance. Unlike all other places that I had contacted, she was never trying to up-sell me to get the most money possible. She told me it was best to attend her group class (which is way cheaper) to first get the basics down so that we can more easily learn the routine in the private class. The rate for the group class and the private lessons were the best rates we saw on the market. Group Dancing Class Liza and Mark are so much fun to learn dancing with. They answer all your questions and help break it down for beginners like me and my fiance. They want to help you and will pull you aside to help you get down the basics (beginner or skilled). Even after our wedding, we plan on attending more dance classes as a fun weekly date night. Private Dance for the Wedding I can't tell you how much our families loved our first dance at the wedding. We told Liza and Mark the song we wanted and they were able to tell us the dance style that best matched the song and we can easily learn in the 6 classes we paid for. Liza is so awesome in that she is very honest on what looks good and doesn't. She won't fluff it for you and will help come with alternate moves that match your skill set so the dance still looks amazing. Mark does an incredible job of breaking the routine down to easily digestable parts and how to best practice. He is never shy to pull you aside and work with you to get the fundamentals which make a huge difference. Both of them are great at choreography that is doable and also fun / flashy for the crowd. Together, they are two peas in a pod and the lessons are so much fun! Overall, my wife and I can't say enough good things about them. Our first dance at the wedding was a huge hit and something we will never forget!

As a couple that absolutely never dances, Liza helped choreograph a dance to our chosen song and successfully taught us how to look great for our first dance. She was incredibly patient with our literal missteps, and knew how to piece together our ideas into a cohesive and reasonable to execute dance. Liza choreographed our first dance for our wedding to George Straight "It Just Comes Natural". We took 7 lessons over the course of 5 months and it was one of the things we looked forward to most throughout wedding planning! Liza was patient, creative, and fun. My fiancée and I wanted something memorable for our first dance and we could not have been luckier to have found Liza for choreographing our wedding dance. She was incredible! At the end of our wedding night people were still talking about our first dance, and this is coming from someone who is known for having two left feet on a good day. We walked in to our first lesson with little to no idea of what we wanted, all we had was the song picked. Over the period of five lessons we slowly created and adjusted a final dance that left the crowd in awe. We also had the experience of working with Liza before the pandemic, and during. For our lessons during the pandemic she was very considerate and still able to create an environment where the class was just as effective as pre-pandemic. My husband and I hired Dance with Liza to choreograph our daughter’s wedding dance to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. We were nervous because our son-in-law has two left feet, but Liza got to know my daughter and son-in-law, made them feel comfortable, and accentuated their best attributes. Liza was very professional and patient. She created an original dance that all wedding guests enjoyed.

We took 4 60-minute dance lessons with Liza and Janna and absolutely loved our experience. They'd never choreographed a dance to our song before, so we worked together to create choreography that felt fun and natural to us. Some of my favorite photos from our wedding are the ones of our guests' faces as they watched our first dance. I think a class pack makes for an amazing wedding shower gift, fun date night, and a really personal first dance! LOVE DANCE WITH LIZA!

Our favorite part of the entire wedding planning process was our dance lessons with Liza! We came in with a few possible songs (honestly we didn’t know what we were doing) and she helped narrow them down to the best option by giving us ideas of how we’d dance to each one. My husband and I worked with Liza for her DJ services and first dance choreography for our wedding. Liza was personable, friendly, and easy to work with. She was extremely patient with us (we had a limited dance background), and helped us picked songs that would complement each part of our wedding reception. Liza’s awesome! She worked with us to plan a dance that will still be impressive to our guests, even though neither me nor my fiancé are very good dancers. I also found out a couple lessons in that my dress can’t be bustled, and she worked with us to rearrange the dance for less movement on my end. We even added in an extra lesson to learn some simple moves for us to teach our parents for the father/daughter and mother/son dance. She was so flexible and receptive to our needs & concerns, and I can’t wait to dance in front of our friends and family in a couple weeks.

Wow Liza is amazing! My daughter is getting married which means Dad must learn a father/daughter dance. Not being the most coordinated person and being pretty uncomfortable getting on the dance floor, I knew I needed to do something in preparation for my wedding in May. Liza is amazing at what she does. She has a way of putting you at ease and adjusting dance moves to your level of comfort. Liza is great to work with! She's got years (or decades) of dancing experience in a variety of dance genres. We decided to pick a combination slow dance which then switched to a Latin (Mexican) Pop song for dancing Salsa. Liza was creative in the moves she suggested and choreographed, and also would be prepared prior to our classes. Within just 5 lessons we were able to prepare a beautiful, and surprising First dance at our wedding.
