On the wedding day, DJ Quiggy went above and beyond our expectations. He expertly mixed a unique blend of 80s and 90s Norwegian pop songs with modern U.S. hits, a challenge that he absolutely nailed. The way he seamlessly combined the Norwegian tracks we love with the English/American ones was perfect. And to top it all off, he closed the night with The Final Countdown, which sent the entire party into a frenzy—what an epic ending! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience, and if we ever need a DJ again, DJ Quiggy and Dancin' Shoes DJ will be our first call. We asked him to cut out a part of the song for our procession and he ended up playing that part of the song TWICE. Mike was supposed to start playing our first dance song as we were walking to the dance floor and he waited until we got to the middle of the dance floor to play the song. My maid of honor and the groom walked up to him a few times during the dancing to ask him to change the song to something that was in our playlist and he said he was "working up to it". We were really disappointed with Mike and his lack of awareness to the requests we made leading into the wedding but also day of. I unfortunately highly recommend looking elsewhere for a DJ.

day of Cate absolutely crushed it. We have gotten so many compliments and MULTIPLE requests for our wedding playlist because it was banger after banger. Cate was so good at picking up cues from the room and keeping the energy high. Transitions and live mixing were on point, song choice was excellent throughout the entire night, and she helped keep the flow of toasts, dances, announcements, etc. while not taking the focus away from the moment. She was so quick and efficient with setup and breakdown, the equipment all worked great outside in the rain, and there were zero issues with any equipment including speakers and mics. We got married at Arapahoe Basin, a venue with some logistical challenges (high elevation, need a high clearance vehicle on the service road, wild weather) and she handled it all without a hitch. TLDR; Go with Dancin' Shoes DJ for the best vibes and a perfect night :)
