Hannah was fantastic - personable, friendly, accommodating, and great photos too!

Hannah was the best! We loved having her guidance during our engagement pictures to help us awkward folks pose naturally and she let us bring our crazy dogs into pics too! Then for our wedding she was amazing at making sure we got all the shots we asked for while balancing letting us have fun and getting great candids of all our friends and family. Then we actually got a sneak peak at many of our photos THE NEXT DAY! It was the best way to end the weekend. We are so happy with all the pictures we’ve gotten back now and would absolutely use Depict photography again! Thanks Hannah!

Hannah was the photographer for my wedding and we couldn't be happier with the photos. Every photo is beautiful and looking at them takes us back to the special day. Hannah is truly talented with a great eye for detail. She managed to capture the smallest (yet important) details that we never want to forget from the day. She also was very organized and reached out to me before the day to get an idea of the types of photos/family photo combinations that we wanted. She really was able to capture the essence and vibe of our wedding, resulting in beautiful photos that we will cherish forever.

Hannah (the owner) is awesome and her photo packages are a great value for your money. Our wedding photos turned out beautiful and the price was affordable. Hannah is laid back, friendly, and responds quickly to emails. She also has an online portal which provided a convenient and modern way of doing business with her. In terms of photography style, Hannah generally has a “photojournalism” style that shows the timeline of the wedding day and captures emotion by taking many candid shots. She also does a good job with formal wedding portraits and posed family photos. She knows how to control large family groups during family photos. She did a good job “rounding everyone up” from my husbands side of the family (about 20 people including small children) and getting everyone to pose appropriately. In addition, she took many photos of my guests throughout the wedding, which I really appreciated. My wedding day flew by and I was so busy that I missed a lot of the fun, so it made me happy to be able to “relive” the wedding day by looking at photos of my guests having a good time.

Hannah photographed our wedding back in May at Carlos Creek Winery. She did such an amazing job! She is so great to work with and made it such a fun day for us. We were able to get all of the shots I wanted, and more. We got so many pictures back, I was amazed. She really was able to capture every moment of the day. I cannot say enough good things about Hannah and Depict Photography, the whole experience was amazing!

I can’t say enough good things about Hannah! She was very patient, flexible, and an incredibly calming energy on our wedding day. She saved our ceremony after we accidentally left our rings at the makeup artist’s studio, because she had a spare set of rings that we were able to use as fillers during the ceremony while a friend left to pick up our actual rings! She quickly and efficiently got all of the posed pictures that we wanted (which there were tons of), even when we ended up having WAY less time for those pictures than we thought we would (100% our fault)! She captured so many beautiful candid moments, she blended in seamlessly with our family and friends, and she was willing to stay until the end of our event on a Sunday (which was really appreciated because I mostly wanted candids of the whole night)! She is truly so reasonably priced, and the fact that you get her and her assistant included in the price is incredible! And the pictures that we got back are so beautiful, and so special to me! And the wooden keepsake box that you get from her with your USB in it is such an adorably kind touch! And she’s lGBT friendly! Overall, I couldn’t recommend her more!

Hannah was amazing to work with! She was very flexible when scheduling our engagement session on short notice, and she did a fantastic job at our wedding! Not only were the photos beautiful, but she also helped with timeline planning and keeping everyone on track the day-of. She even gave us a preview of over 100 of our wedding photos within one day of the wedding! My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience.

Hannah was absolutely amazing! She was flexible with my many changes and gave me advice along the way. She was very professional and friendly with my family. Hands down one of the best decisions we’ve made choosing Hannah (Depict Photography) as our photographer on our Engagement/Wedding Day. Photos looked amazing and very detailed. All our request was met to the fullest and she and her assistant were on their A game for our big day. Hannah was absolute perfection to work with, and I could not be happier with the images we’ve seen so far. First of all, her day-of mood is super calm and collected, which in turn helped me to be calm and collected on what is probably the most stressful, emotional day of one’s life. She is organized and pays attention to detail, so I was never worried about her missing an important part of the day, and she almost did more than our planner to keep us on schedule! The most unique and best thing (so far) about using Depict Photography was getting to wake up the morning after our wedding to see a blog post telling the story of our day, including over 100 impeccable images! We’re just about two months out from our wedding now, and haven’t quite yet received our full set of images, but I’m happy to wait patiently as long as it takes because I was able to get that sneak peek so immediately. We could share the link with our friends and family, and it was like sharing a professional album that they could see right from their phones. It must be a tremendous amount of work to sift through over a thousand images looking for a handful of great ones that can tell a story and require little editing, not to mention the fact that she stays up all night to do it AFTER working all day at your wedding. As for the images themselves, the ones we’ve seen so far make me over-the-moon excited to get the full set. Seeing the candid moments that we didn’t get witness firsthand, or from perspectives we couldn’t see, was my favorite part. Hannah is wonderful at capturing people’s emotions in beautiful lighting and artful frames. One of my favorites was a picture of my dance with my dad, and I was sobbing—I’m talking ugly crying—and somehow the image turned out touching and elegant. She’s not a magician, she’s a sorceress of some sort. I am beyond grateful that I found her and would strongly, if not INSISTENTLY, recommend her for your big day!

We had such a wonderful experience with Hannah – for both our engagement shoot and wedding day! She had a vision of the day and a “list” of shots she wanted to capture – but gave us the freedom to have fun and be ourselves. She was also professional and made sure that our wedding party and parents felt comfortable at every point during pictures (before and after the ceremony). Lastly (and most importantly), her photography skills are amazing! She knows what shots are the must-haves, and she works with your personalities to capture moments that are unique to the bride and groom (plus our wedding party!). My husband and I would recommend her as a wedding photographer to others!

Hire Hannah. I'm serious. Choosing to work with her for our wedding was the BEST decision. She's organized, thoughtful, and had a way of practically disappearing on our wedding day, all while capturing some of the greatest moments. Hannah and her assistant, Katie, were great to work with and super efficient when it came to rounding up a group for photos. They got it done and were light-hearted and fun the whole way! We will always be eternally grateful to Hannah at Depict Photography for saving the day on our wedding day!! We had a weird snafu with our first photographer, but thankfully Hannah was able to step in and make everything a thousand times more wonderful. She was such a kind, fun and calming presence throughout the process of meeting her, discussing the details of the day, and on the day itself. She was right where she needed to be through all of the 9 hours we booked her and her excellent assistant. We first worked with Hannah at a friend's wedding in which my husband and I were both in the wedding party. We were so impressed with her work she was the first photographer we reached out to when planning our big day. Hannah was a joy to work with! She is responsive in her emails, very thorough in the planning process, and saved my sanity the day of my wedding by being the calm voice of reason when I felt like we were herding cats to get our family pictures. Hannah and our second shooter were also SO kind as to allow us to add an additional hour to our contract the day of our wedding when things were running behind and wanted to be sure they were there to capture everything. Hannah is amazing! She really kept us calm throughout the day and captured every moment from our wedding day. We could not have picked a better photographer. Hannah was so very organized through-out planning to our wedding day and beyond. She helped plan our outline of the day and then utilized an electronic form to plan the photos we wanted (I loved filling it out at my leisure). Waking up to her blog was so special and great to share on social media right away. Following the wedding we found using her website and our private gallery was so easy to view and save our favorites.She really has everything covered; from photos for stationary, framed photos on the wedding day, to our treasured photo album.

She was very organized and even went out to our wedding venue prior to the day and found great spots for some sunset photos which are some of my favorites from our wedding day. I first got to meet Hannah last summer when she was the photographer for my friend's wedding. I was a bridesmaid at the time but remember thinking I needed to have Hannah do my wedding day photos when the time came. We could not have asked for a better photographer. We haven't gotten all of our photos back yet from the wedding day but Hannah gives you a blog preview the morning after your wedding and our preview was amazing. Hannah is the absolute best! She photographed our wedding last September and also did our engagement photos. The quality of our photos exceeded my expectations. Hannah had such creative ideas for photo locations and poses. Hannah also made our Save the Dates which all of our guests compliments. I was planning a wedding from out of state so I was a little nervous to be booking a photographer without meeting them in person but after speaking to Hannah on the phone I was much more at ease. Hannah kept in touch throughout the whole wedding planning and was there to answer any questions. She was very flexible when it came to the schedule day of and I completely trusted her to pick a good location to take picture before the ceremony and reception. I am overly critical of any picture of myself and my husband is the same way. However, so far we have loved every picture we have seen. Hannah has a gift for capturing beautiful memories. Right after we first met her, we knew she would photograph our wedding. We were on a pretty tight budget, but I work in video production, so I am pretty picky. Hannah's portfolio was wonderful and she has the perfect personality to be a wedding photographer. She listened to our thoughts about our photos and made great suggestions. Engagement photos were included in our package - and I am so glad they were. We didn't originally plan on doing them, but it helped us be more comfortable in front of the camera. Hannah met up with us a week or so before the wedding to go through what photos we wanted and helped us scope out the perfect spots for each photo (we got married on St. Anthony Main in Mpls). On our wedding day, she and her assistant were wonderful. They got all of the photos we listed for her as well as plenty of amazing candid pictures. They also moved things along, which was super helpful! Our wedding was a rare opportunity to have both of our extended families in one place. We had an long list of family photos as well and she assured us we'd have plenty of time. She and her assistant took amazing photos of both of our venues before the ceremony and reception. From our first meeting, to emails after the wedding, she provided prompt and kind service. I highly, highly recommend Hannah.

To start off, our day would not have been the same without Hannah and her amazing assistant. Hannah is not only one of the kindest people I have met but amazingly talented. My fiancé and I had our wedding on the longest day of the year, June 21, 2014. Hannah and her assistant, Monique, did an amazing job! They were super friendly, and Hannah was very organized with getting all the specific details figured out thru emailing and personally meeting up until the wedding day. Both girls did a great job of working with everyone and capturing our big day for us. They have wonderful artistic views, and we would have missed out on a lot of different types of pictures if it wasn't for them! The groom and I were excited the next day to see how our pictures turned out because we had such a wonderful feeling of how good of a job they both did. She wanted to know what I wanted out of my wedding photos and what style I preferred. To be honest I trusted her and allowed her to do what she thought was best. I could not be happier with the result. I have photos that will last a lifetime and remind me of every moment of my special day. Hannah met with me numerous times before the big day. She is always timely and the best part is she gave me a sneak peak of a couple photos the day after my wedding. I received all of my wedding photos no more than three weeks later. I would recommend Hannah to any one. Her prices are amazing. When I received the disc of all my photos it was customized with photos of me and my husband on the case as well as the cd.
