Wedding date: 9/8/2023 We partnered with them through our venue as that was their bartender. Dawn and the team were amazing bartenders at our wedding! Dawn was extremely helpful with giving us guidance on how much we should serve and where to start. They kept the beverages flowing and helped the guests stay fun and happy.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dishes by Design. Not only was it affordable, but absolutely delicious. I planned my wedding from out of state, so we booked them without tasting their food and hoped for the best. The food was beyond my expectations. Everything tasted amazing! I had guests tell me it was the best wedding food they ever had. The staff was also fantastic and made sure that me and my husband were well fed throughout the evening, which I super appreciated. Toni was also super easy to communicate with before the wedding. I would absolutely recommend using them for your wedding/event!!

Toni and her staff do an incredible amazing job! We had fantastic appetizers and the main dishes were so flavorful and tender. Even the asparagus was on point, they were on time and we had enough of everything. I can’t recommend this caterer enough!!

Dishes by Design was our caterer for our wedding on 12/02 and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. Toni was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the booking process and the food was delicious the day of our wedding. Too many guests came up to me to RAVE about the food! The beef melted in your mouth, the smoked Gouda mac and cheese was beyond amazing, and the entire staff was truly wonderful!

Dishes by Design completely exceeded our expectations. We looked at a few different caterers before reaching out to Dishes by Design, and we are SO GLAD that we did. Toni is so kind, responsive, professional and organized. The tasting blew us away. Their menu offers so many incredible options, we had a hard time narrowing it down. From our cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres, to our buffet-style dinner, to our bar service, everything was INCREDIBLE. We got complements ALL NIGHT about how amazing our food was. Plus, their menu is perfect if you have a handful of gluten-free guests. They marked everything, and our guests were so grateful. PLEASE hire them for your event. We can’t recommend them enough.

Toni and her team just recently catered my October wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with the service she provided! We had nothing but amazing compliments on the appetizers and food! Toni is extremely easy to work with and very responsive! I would highly recommend Dishes By Design any day!

We couldn't recommend Toni and her team enough. We got married almost three weeks ago and people are STILL talking about how good the food was and how they wish they would have gone up for a third serving (and the leftovers were the gift that kept on giving after the wedding!). All of the wait staff were so incredibly kind and professional as well. Just a high-class company all around!

We kept hearing from our guests that this was the best ‘wedding food’ they have ever eaten. This helped to create a special memory for our guests, and of course our daughter and her husband. Toni took incomparable care to help us choose good food, and then presented it in a quick manner, so everyone dined on a hot meal. Her hors d’oeurves were delectable, loved those cranberry meatballs. Our wedding was perfect thanks to Dishes by Design! Toni was so easy to work with and made the planning process so easy. Choosing a caterer is a huge deal and we loved her transparent pricing. Toni and the Dishes by Design team catered our wedding 9/12/2020 and did an amazing job! We received many compliments on the food and some even said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Toni was also very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Dishes by Design!

Toni was amazing to work with for our wedding. She was very responsive, professional, and flexible. I highly recommend Dishes by Design as we used them for our July 4th wedding and the food was great and the catering team was excellent.

Our food was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments on it the night of and afterwards! I didn't hear one bad thing about any of the food anyone had! There was one thing I was disappointed about but minor. We got the seasonal vegetables with balsamic drizzled on top and there was no balsamic the day of the wedding. They also did our cake cutting. There was a spot we wanted the cut cake to be and that was agreed upon but the day of, it was put somewhere completely different. They also said they would package the rest of our leftover cake. We had a few other boxes of sheet cake boxed up that were completely ruined and had to be thrown out due to them stacking the boxes on top of each other. All the frosting on top came off when you opened the lid and the cake was smushed. We also had had to use their bar service per our contract with our vendor. There was a younger bartender (Dez I believe) who was great but the other two were absolutely rude and horrible. They told my HUSBAND and FATHER they had to get in line to get drinks. My dad then proceeded to tell her who they were and her tone changed quickly. Another staff member came up and had words with her about this. There was another time I was at the bar and watched THREE people get served before I did.. I was the bride, you couldn't miss who I was and I shouldn't of had to wait in line at my own wedding. We heard more about how horrible the bartenders were than anything else that night which is disappointing. Toni's food is absolutely amazing and I would love to eat it again but, there are some things I wished I knew before booking her. Not to change and go with someone else, but just as a heads up. If you are questioning something she will steer you in the right direction but there's really no compromising. It also sometimes felt like we were bothering her if we had a question. We live out of state so everything was done through email/phone and we had a lot of questions and clarifications. **One thing to keep in mind as well. If you want to pay ahead a little at a time, that's fine, but make sure you don't over pay as she will NOT refund that money. That was something not told to us before and luckily my parents overpaid portion was able to go to ours so it wasn't a waste.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Toni and her team. Our food was DELICIOUS. People RAVED about how good everything was. We had a late night snack and people couldn't even eat it b/c they said that dinner was SO GOOD that they were so full from getting seconds! That's exactly what we wanted to hear! Toni is WAY more reasonably priced than any other caterer in the area, not to mention her food is TOP NOTCH GOURMET. I wish every wedding we went to had food as good as ours was!! Thank you, Toni!!! The food for our wedding was PHENOMENAL! We had tons of compliments and I was so happy with how everything tasted! The staff was fun and friendly and the tables/set up looked beautiful! We also used them for our bar and the bartenders were AMAZING!! Great service and fun personalities! Toni is easy to work with, quick to respond, and incredibly organized and professional! My only disappointment was that our champagne toast was not poured in time for the toasts, but this was made right by Toni with a refund so I appreciate her quickly taking accountability for the lapse of service there. Overall I would definitely recommend! Best wedding food I've ever had!

Toni and her staff were a pleasure to work with both before and during my wedding. She was very professional and created a unique wedding special for the fall season. She worked with our venue/coordinator eliminating stress for my husband and I as we were not living in the area. Words like "this is the best food I have ever had at a wedding" were tossed around by our guests. We chose family style which was perfect and minimized the amount of food that went to waste. I HIGHLY recommend Dishes by Design!

Dishes by Design catered my daughter's wedding at The Historic Onesto this weekend. The food was absolutely fabulous! But Toni Altimore does more than prepare excellent food. She is a smart business woman who knows how to execute a large event flawlessly. She and her staff are OUTSTANDING! They were so proactive in accommodating our wishes and needs throughout the evening, whether it was directly related to their core responsibilities or not. I was incredibly impressed with all aspects of my experience with Dishes by Design. My only regret is not printing their company name on the bottom of our menu cards. The dozens of times I was approached with " The food was outstanding; who is your caterer?" became downright exhausting! This is a wonderful caterer.

Toni with Dishes by Design was great to work with throughout the wedding planning process. She provided us with great guidance for bar services, which in the end saved us money. She was always prompt in responding to questions via both emails and phone. As the wedding day approached Toni touched base with me to verify all the details. The bar staff (Teresa and Anthony) were great the day of the wedding as well. They kept the bar line moving, were helpful, and did a great job of keeping the drinks flowing! The vendor also handled the set up and organized the bar, both of which were done promptly and well in advance of when the bar was opened. I highly recommend their bar services to anyone looking for such a vendor, while still staying within a wedding budget!

If you want mouth-watering wedding food, this is the place to call! Not only are Dishes by Design's prices are fair and their customer service is top-notch, I truly believe they provided the best wedding food I've ever tasted. We opted for their BBQ buffet to bring a little bit of our southern hometown back up north for our wedding. It's been over a month later and guests are STILL mentioning how great the food was. I don't know about you, but I don't think I can say that about any wedding I've attended as a guest!

Toni is amazing and the food is even better. We were thrilled at our wedding with how delicious everything was. My guests are still telling me how it was the best wedding food the have ever had. We had Dishes by Design cater our 9.9.17 wedding and used their bar services as well. The entire staff was extremely nice. Booking them as our caterer for the wedding was one of the best decisions in our planning process. There was not one single complaint about the food but the opposite. EVERYONE and I mean all 175 guests raved about how delicious everything was and how it was the best wedding reception food they have ever had. The bar tenders were awesome with everyone and personable as remembering people and their drink choice as soon as you got to the bar. I truly can't get over how awesome the service and food was all night. They were exceptional!!

Per our contract with our venue, we had to use Dishes by Designs bar tenders. Fortunately, we didn't have to purchase her bar supplies as they were over priced. I had to email the owner a few times in a row to receive a response. When purchasing ice, we wanted only 20 bags and were required to order 75. Overall, if it was not due to our venue contract we would not have used this vendor and would not use in the future.

We were very pleased with Dishes by Design and would recommend to anyone getting married in the Akron/Canton area. We got absolutely rave reviews on our food from dozens of guests. We opted to work with Toni's day-of coordinator, and I can't convey how critical she was to the success of our day. She kept me (the bride) and our families calm and on track, and left no detail unattended to!

I had the pleasure of being the Maid of Honor at my sister's wedding this summer at The Water's Edge in Louisville. I was part of the tasting process to find a caterer. When we came to the tasting with Dishes By Design, we knew within 15 minutes that we found her caterer. Toni is just great. I don't know how else to say it. She really does care about your wedding and your guests. Her food is exceptional. You can tell with one taste and by looking at her food that it's actually homemade not frozen or boxed. We tried some awful wedding food that was all processed or mass produces. The day of the wedding, Toni was there all day and made sure my sister's wedding day went off without a hitch. The food was beautifully displayed and tasted even better. My sister is still getting compliments and when I got engaged 3 months ago, I didn't even ask for a tasting before I booked the day with Toni. I highly recommend her and her wonderful staff, you won't be sorry!

This caterer saved me wedding. Almost literally. A month out from the big day, the caterer I had been required to use through my reception hall's contract went out of business. So, I spent a frantic week calling every caterer I could find. My linen lady suggested that I speak with Toni Altimore (owner of Dishes by Design), and am I ever thankful that I took her suggestion. She was available due to a recent date change from a previous event. My fiance and I were sold on hiring her from our very first meeting. She listened to our menu ideas and concerns, gave feedback on the spot, and then composed an elegant and amazing menu in only couple of days time. She worked with us on price, and due to our awkward situation, even supplied all of the flatware, china, and glassware at no charge. On the day of the wedding, her food displays (we opted for appetizer styled stations) were gorgeous; nothing run-of-the-mill here. And the taste! Oh my goodness! It was by far the best wedding food I've ever had. If you have the opportunity, you must try her mac 'n' cheese. Her staff was efficient and amiable. Dishes were cleared in timely fashion, water glasses were kept full, and the food stations always looked fresh. If I ever need a caterer again, I will look no further than Toni Altimore's Dishes by Design
