I was born and raised in Marshalltown, IA. At the age of 16, I started DJing weddings and working in radio at KXIA and KFJB. I spent 6 years in Sioux Falls, SD, working for a few mobile DJ companies and working in radio. In 2009, I moved to Worthington, MN, to follow my radio dreams and launch my own company, simply called DJ Barry Roberts.

DJ Barry did everything from last minute changes to bridal party entrance songs to coming up with activities for the guest to participate in, including musical chairs scavenger hunt.
