He followed up to check in with me in the months leading up to the wedding, and I was feeling good, then about 2 weeks out I had a moment of panic: other than choosing our first dance and the father-daughter song, I hadn't thought about the music at all! The music makes the wedding! What if Dom wasn't what I remembered?? I spent the few days putting together a painfully long and detailed song list and sent it to DJ Dom, who got on the phone with me and patiently let me walk him through my thoughts, vision, vibe for the day. He assured me he had this and he'd keep the dance floor packed all night. Sure enough, I didn't need to worry. Or spend all that time on the song list... Dom played the perfect combination of fun dance songs, classics and singalongs to keep all ages happy and having fun on the dance floor all night long. Somehow he did this without feeling like the playlist I've heard at every other wedding I've ever been to. He was engaging and professional without being in your face on the mic, and more importantly I could tell he was listening to what we wanted ever since that initial phone call months ago. We had so many guests tell us how much fun they had dancing all night and how it was the perfect mix of music. Thank you Dom for helping us throw one heck of a party!

There was music for all ages, so our youngest as well as our oldest guests were out on the dance floor! One of our songs had a simple dance that has been an inside joke with my husband, the best man, and the best man's brother. Domenic made sure to play this song while the best man, his brother, my husband, and me were all in the room so we could participate. This added such an amazing memory to our already fantastic day. A couple of my guests wanted to sing "I Believe I Can Fly" karaoke, but Dom made sure to ask me first, and thank goodness he did! Everyone knows what drunken karaoke looks like, so I was so happy that Dom had my back. My husband and I met in college and about 10 of our guests also attended the same school, so Dom helped us to facilitate a college picture with our school's pennant. He was the perfect pick for our wedding!

As we sat with Domenic and he explained the kind of DJ he was, within 10 minutes we had found he met each and every criterion of what we were looking for. Before we knew it the week before the wedding had arrived and we contacted Domenic about the final touches of first dance music, introductions etc. I think he could tell how overwhelmed we were, but non the less he was so incredibly patient with us, making sure that everything was to our exact specifications. The day of our wedding came and he was so very attentive to our every wish from start to finish. He set up microphones for the ceremony, arranged music and made sure everything went perfectly. We even had several people come up to us throughout the night and ask “Who is your DJ, he is fantastic!!!” So after all that we would like to say that we were simply blown away by DJ Domenic and would highly recommend him to anyone for any type of event you may have!

ons and we began to realize that a Wedding DJ not only plays the music but also serves as the master of ceremonies by introducing the different elements on the schedule of the reception. We also realized that we didn't want a DJ that would make it feel like a rave or night club. We wanted an elegant affair with a professional, low key and outgoing DJ. When we commented on this to one of the potential videographers he recommended DJ Domenic and showed us a video of a reception that DJ Domenic had done. It was exactly what we wanted. Our initial phone call with DJ Domenic was great. He was supportive, flexible and knowledgeable. After the phone call DJ Domenic emailed us a form to fill in all of the key information that he needed; sequence of events, announced members of the wedding party, songs for specific dances, who would be delivering speeches… This really helped us plan the ceremony and reception and think thru each element. We discovered that we needed a microphone for the harp at our ceremony, a wireless lavalier mic for the ceremony host and a wireless handheld mic for the Rabbi. DJ Domenic was able to provide each of these at no extra charge. After we filled in the form, we sent it back to him and then had a phone conversation to review the document and ask and answer questions. The day of our wedding DJ Domenic showed up early and setup quickly. During the reception he played excellent music and introduced each element gracefully. Music is key to any wedding and DJ Dominic knows his music! He is seasoned and knows the how to play the right music to get the party going in all the right ways. We appreciated everything about him! Go with Domenic if you want a classy event with great music!

For example, we wanted to do our "first dance" to a slow song and then have it morph into another song so we could do a "fun dance" and catch everyone by surprise. He likes Ska and oldies, where I like 90s and Pop. We e-mailed Domenic a list of a few of our favorite songs and, using that information, Domenic was able to create the perfect playlist for our wedding. Everyone was on the dance floor for the ENTIRE evening! (For real though...) During the wedding, we had several people come up to us and comment about Domenic. "Your DJ is amazing!" "How did you find him?" Some friends even approached him after the wedding to inquire about using his services for future weddings. If I had to redo that day over and over again, I'd pick DJ Domenic every time! Thanks so much for helping to make the day absolutely perfect, Domenic!

Aside from the above, it was very important to us that our DJ not be a "talker" - we did not want someone that would be talking to the guests all night through the microphone, each time he changed a song, etc. Domenic assured us that was not his style, and once our wedding day came he proved that to be absolutely true. Domenic was also fabulous at listening to what types of music that we wanted to play at what times of the evening, especially since the most important thing to us was that our guests had a fabulous time and danced the night away. Equally important he was receptive to the music that we did not want to play (we did not want a lot of 'coreographed' dances like the electric slide, etc.), and Domenic honored those requests. Domenic was responsive, helpful and beyond professional. He was an absolutely pleasure to work with from the moment we booked him right through our entire wedding day. He read the crowd perfectly and we danced for over 5 hours straight (he played a 4 hour reception + 2 hour after party, the first hour we were eating, first dances, speeches). He mixed it up with new stuff, old stuff, and everything in between that you would never have thought of yourself but definitely wanted to hear. Everyone was commenting the next day about how they have never danced so much at a wedding and were exhausted from dancing all night. A few weeks later we got to watch some video footage our friends took and every song playing was incredible - we knew he was good but had almost forgotten just how awesome it was. And even better, he is a truly nice guy. We almost got the feeling he just one of our friends who got up to spin some music. If you want a awesome dance party at your wedding, go with Domenic. His pricing was right on with the other quotes we received. We spoke with 4 DJs, and emailed with a few others.

ghkeepsie. I became their “wedding planner”. We started planning last year for their Sept. 5, 2014 wedding date. DJ Domenic Entertainment was given to us as one of several DJ’s by the Grandview. In July of last year, my son, his finance and I met with Domenic. We knew right then that he was the DJ for their wedding; there was no need to visit with anyone else. He is genuinely a nice person, no gimmicks, no tough sell routines. He listen to my son and daughter-in-law as to what type of wedding music they wanted and made some suggestions. We booked him right away. Leading up to the wedding, any questions that came up, he was readily available. A couple of weeks before the wedding he reached out to my son, his finance, as well as myself, to see how everyone was doing and review the music selections for the ceremony and first dances. At last, the wedding day, Domenic entertained a half hour before the ceremony, cocktail hour and for the reception. The music transition so smoothly. Everyone enjoyed his selections. Domenic kept the dance floor busy and the energy flowing throughout the reception. I can’t thank him enough for being a part of our family’s special day and adding to the success of it. He is a class act and I would highly recommend him for anyone needing a DJ for any occasion.

Domenic honored our wishes completely, and made everything feel completely natural all throughout the whole planning process, as well as the wedding reception itself. Right from the beginning he worked with us on pricing to fit our budget, as we were having our wedding on a weekday to try and save some expense. Not only was he willing to accommodate us on a weekday, but he discounted the rate! We were coming from out of state, and thereby planning the wedding long distance. Domenic couldn’t have been more helpful and easier to work with. One of the best vendors I hired,hands down! He was always very timely in returning my correspondence,and he was always willing to work with me on whatever I needed. He went above and beyond. I was planning on giving my husband a surprise serenade during our wedding ceremony. When the string quartet that I’d hired denied my request to play the song, Domenic offered to help right away! He is definitely all about making your wedding dreams come true! Domenic went out of his way to find the music for me to sing to at the very last minute! He treated it like it was no problem at all. And when the day came: it went off without a hitch! When it came time to sit down and have a meeting with him, I was coming in from far away and was running late. He completely accommodated me by not only allowing me to change the time of the meeting, but he also drove part of the way to meet me closer to the next meeting I had set up for that day at our venue! He is incredibly nice, down to earth, calming, and so willing to work with his clients! After planning things with him for a year in advance, and the kindness and understanding he showed my family and I through the process, I felt like I had known him forever by the time the wedding day came. He made things so much easier on me all around. And one less thing for a very stressed out bride to pull her hair out over is a big deal! Domenic has a vast knowledge of the music he plays,and he has a TON of it! His experience in the industry clearly shows through when it comes to the music he provides, and the way he handles himself behind the dj booth. He worked with us to customize our playlist and reception experience. Everyone loved it! The dinner music was great and right on target for our eclectic mix of guests. Then when party time came, he played the music that made people want to get up out of their seat and dance non-stop! People were literally coming off the dance floor, intending to go sit down, only to hear another favorite song and turn around and run right back out there! People were giddy with exhaustion from dancing so much! And the pictures that I have now tell it all! I was very concerned about the type of music that would get played, as I have been to other weddings where some of the selection seemed less than ideal. Domenic worked closely with me on this, and as a result: I didn’t hear one song all night that wasn’t great! I couldn’t have asked for better. My only disappointment was that it didn’t last all night! I really want to re-live it again every day now! I recommend DJ Domenic 100%! He helps create the memories that will be raved about,long after the party is over!

entire day (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) were in good hands because he was able to integrate the music seamlessly. Domenic is so sweet as well. He had a great way of keeping me calm. I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend him!!!!!

wide range of guests - everyone from grandparents to teenagers. We didn't want someone who would make a lot of announcements, or who would forget the songs we really didn't want to hear. Domenic knew exactly what we needed during the ceremony, helped with a great mix during cocktails, and hosted the best dance party ever. Several friends commented that there was not a single song that was a miss - the only time people stopped dancing was to grab a drink or some dessert before getting back on the dance floor. Domenic was also wonderful to work with - laid back, kind, personable, and thorough. He kept track of the details, his paperwork and contract were straightforward, and we felt 100% confident in working with him. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any party you've got coming up!

back to me that night!! We set up a phone call and in talking to him, I KNEW he was the one I wanted to DJ our wedding. He was exactly what I was looking for. So my fiance and I set up a meeting with Domenic one night after work and we signed with him right then and there. Domenic is amazingly nice and really listened to what we had to say. My fiance and I do not agree on music at all, which I thought was going to make this this hardest part of the wedding. Well, I was mistaken. Domenic played PERFECT music for the wedding. My biggest concern was wanting everyone to be up and dancing...from my parents' friends to our friends...we just wanted everyone to have a great time. And they did!! Domenic had the perfect blend of music throughout the night!! We had spoken several times in the weeks leading up to the wedding and he was putting all of my concerns at rest. The only thing I had to figure out was the ceremony music and the first dance/parent dance music. He did everything else. I would tell EVERYONE looking for a DJ to book Domenic. He is a really sweet guy who did everything to make things easy on us. We really didn't have to do anything. We left it all in his hands and it was the best decision we made. He wanted our day to be exactly what we wanted and for us to not have to stress about it. And he succeeded!! Thank you Domenic for everything!! You are fantastic and I am so glad you helped to make my dreams come true on my wedding day!! :-)

dors, he is the only one that was in constant contact with me since the day we booked him. He was very helpful with everything - from music selections to uplighting. He is fantastic!!
