DJ for our wedding was amazing! Made sure everything was lined up for the grand march and dances way before so we didn't have to worry.

When I booked with DJ Express Fun, I specifically requested that Jeff Kohler be the one to DJ our wedding, because he DJ-ed a friends wedding and we liked his style - and he agreed to DJ. Two or three weeks before our wedding, I was reaching out to confirm everything with all of our vendors, and when I called Jeff to go over everything, he acted like he had no idea we had booked him, and told me that he wasn't going to be the one to DJ - we were working with a DJ named Brad Young. We didn't have much of a choice at that point, so we went with Brad. Brad did a somewhat mediocre job - he was supposed to release tables to get food and we kept having to remind him to make the announcements. It was hard to understand when he was saying when he spoke into the microphone. I specifically told him that we did NOT want clean versions of any songs - we wanted explicit versions - and after assuring me that he could get ANY song without issue, he played all clean versions - even after we went up to him and told him again that we wanted explicit. He played weird versions of the Cha Cha Slide and the Macarena - pretty standard songs, you would think. Overall, people were on the dance floor and he played decent music; and he was a very nice guy, no issues there. But I feel there should have been more attention to the details that we wanted. Also, not a big deal - but they should make it easier to sign up - have a sign up page on their website or do it via email. It was all pretty archaic - had to physically mail the packet back and forth to get signed up. It was fairly cheap, so overall it was a good value for the price - I suppose you get what you pay for.

We had Paul for our DJ and he was phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. From making sure the ceremony went smoothly, to making announcements throughout dinner and speeches, to making sure the dance floor stayed full all night, Paul was perfect. My favorite parts were all of the fun games he threw in that were a complete surprise, but loved by both us and all the guests! Not only did Paul do a great job, but DJ Express was by far the best deal we found in the area! Five stars to you guys! You will be highly recommended.

Reasonably priced. Our DJ, Tony L, showed up with his kid with no warning and waited to ask me questions until day off while I was trying to get ready. It threw off our seating chart, luckily we had open seats for our other vendors. The DJ we met with seemed great, but he was not assigned to our wedding.

Jeff and DJ Express did an outstanding job. We could not have been more happier with their service! Not only did they go above and beyond, keeping the guests engaged and entertained, but they also helped keep the night on time and moving. They were very easy to work with, worked well with the caterer and photographer, and worked with us on details we wanted to include during our reception! Everything was so smooth during our reception and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! I would recommend to anyone, and they were very affordable!

They are amazing! He knows how to get the crowd up and moving! We stuck to our song picks but also went with the crowd like we asked! We worked well with my fiancé and my mother in surprises they had planned. Overall, everything was amazing!!!!

Our DJ with Leah. I believe this was her first time being a DJ. Absolutly no personality and a horrible experience. She had no idea how to read a crowd or play music that went together. Many songs were horrible versions downloaded from Youtube and she had a very limited selection on her computer and couldn't get more because she didn't have wifi!!!! Stay away.

Our DJ was Brad and he went above and beyond for our wedding! Brad and Jeff were very easy to work with and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. So many people commented on how involved Brad was and how he kept things flowing very smoothly the entire night.

We used DJ Express for our wedding on 10/03/2015; my sister had used them for her wedding too a few years ago. I was so impressed!!! Our DJ was Paul, and he was fantastic! He literally MADE the night! The dance floor was never empty, everyone was out there dancing.... so many guests came up to us to say how great of a job Paul had done. The DJ was the part of the planning process that stressed me out the most, but as soon as Paul introduced himself to me when we arrived, I knew he was going to be great and my worries went away. I would use DJ Express for any time a DJ is needed, and would definitely request Paul. THANKS PAUL!!!

DJ Paul was absolutely amazing and has a great personality. He did great with our dysfunctional wedding party! He went with the flow of things as needed. He is one of the few people that I did not have to track down prior to the wedding as he contacted me personally, which for me is a big deal because as a bride the last thing you want to be doing the week prior to your wedding is to track down all your wedding vendors to confirm information! Loved the silly dance that he got people involved in, the dance floor was packed! Also loved what he made my groom do in order to take off the garter!! highly recommend them for any of your DJ needs. Overall very satisfied. The DJ got the crowd involved and got people dancing. They had us fill out a packet of music we wanted them to play and they did not disappoint. The only reason they did not get 5 stars was because some phone tag was involved at times to get ahold of them.

DJ Express was by far the best value when searching for DJs for our wedding. At least $500 - $1000 less than the competitors in the area. Very friendly on the phone and accommodating since we lived out of state. The only complaint I would have is in regards to the packet they have you fill out for song selections/suggestions. It did not seem like this was forwarded on to the DJ that did the wedding or at least was not read thoroughly beforehand. We chose "quiet" for the personality of our DJ since we preferred just music and not have him talking to the crowd much. We also did not want any of the group dances included. He was on the microphone more than we preferred and did some of the dances/activities we did not want to do. I also had emailed some changes and additions to songs including what song should be played for the mother-son dance and they played the wrong song. On the day of our wedding the DJ came to us to ask about the grand march and special songs even though all that information was in the packet. The DJ however was able to quickly get songs we requested that he did not have. Overall, I think DJ Express did a good job. The DJ did a great job of reading the crowd to determine what to play next. Our guests really enjoyed the music and had a great time dancing, and that's what really mattered in the end!

We met Jeff of DJ Express at an open house and we were both wowed by how friendly he was. We both felt very comfortable talking with him, he seemed confident and excited about his job. I just got the impression that I could trust him to handle the music without feeling like I would need to micro manage him. And that was exactly what we got! Jeff did a great job. He had all the music we requested and he was on cue with the timeline we provided him. Also leading up to the wedding he was always easy to contact and happy to answer any questions that I had.

The music was good. The guests enjoyed the dancing, however the DJ was not dressed up and the audio when he spoke was not very understandable. Reasonable cost.

The DJ played a wonderful variety of music, he kept people on the dance floor at all times. He went above and beyond my expectations when he didn't have a song we requested, he downloaded it to his phone so he could play it. He kept everyone involved.

My husband and I drove to West Bend to meet with our future DJ at DJ Express a few weeks before the wedding to put my mind at ease of who we would be working with. I wanted to be sure that our DJ knew our expectations. We ended up with the owner, who was very nice, and said he would be working our wedding. This put us at ease after he told us about all of his experience for the past couple decades. We breathed a sigh of relief when we left knowing we made a good choice. Fast forward to the wedding, all of a sudden there's a different DJ there. He had our list of songs, but had no idea what we talked with the owner about. For instance, right away, he said I'll be taking requests all night. James & I specifically said please do not ask for requests, only take them if people come up. So we tell the 'new' DJ this and then he starts deciding which request he'll take and tells other people "the bride says no requests" making me look like a control freak...maybe I am, but everyone doesn't need to know that! Overall, I just wish they would have informed us that we were getting a different DJ so we could have talked with him or even e-mailed prior to the reception. Jeff (the owner)mentioned he had a family event that weekend, but would be missing it to work our reception. We said, if you have someone else in mind and want to go to your family event,enjoy your time, but just keep us posted. He chose someone else, but didn't let us know =( Everyone was very nice, but my expectations were not completely met.

First off, they surprised us with a game to run to each table of guests and take a picture before the song ended. It was a great ice breaker and way for us to see everyone and get a pic with everyone. Then, they had fun dances that guests of all ages could partake in. We literally never had an empty dance floor and everyone had a great time. I couldnt have asked for a better Dj for my wedding!

Jeff, (the owner) honestly made our wedding day so perfect! All of the guests commented how great they were and they have awesome light shows on the dance floor!

They were not easy to get a hold of. I did not meet with them ahead of time which I probably should have. Had some great paperwork that I filled out so they knew what I wanted, but I dont' know how much they followed it. They were very nice at the reception and loved most of the music. Took requests and kept everyone dancing all night.

We went with DJ express because they were the in-house DJ at our reception venue. Everything was so easy to put together with them. Our DJ Josh was an absolute blast. He played great music and kept the dance floor full all night.

Was able to change his original plan for dinner music on the fly and went to more upbeat rather than traditional music. He came prepared as was set up before guests arrived. He played a good mix of music and kept people on the dance floor having a good time. Overall very pleased with our DJ

I used to work as a bartender at a banquet hall. I decided back then that I would use DJ Express as my wedding DJ service. Their staff has always been courteous and professional. We had Josh as our Wedding DJ and he was fantastic. We spoke with him before the wedding and he totally put us at ease. I can't say enough great things about him. I would recommend this service to anyone.

My DJ was great and really drew the people to the floor, but I had asked that we avoid risque music because of pastors and grandparents in attendance and not long into the night he played Rhianna's "S&M." I was mortified though no one seemed to notice the blatant lyrics, at least they didn't hold it against me. I was shocked and would have been happier if they followed that direction.

Everyone had a great time! Our head DJ's name was Troy Ferguson. He worked with us a few weeks before the wedding and listened to every detail. The night of our wedding was a breeze! He took care of all the little details so my husband and I didn't have anything to worry about! GREAT DJ!

These guys were all over everything! They communicated with me and asked me what could happen. They had almost everyone on the dance floor for the entire evening! they were awesome and SUPER inexpensive. $500 for 6 hours! I highly recommend them!

We had DJ Express as our dj on April 30, 2011.They had the best price around and they came to us with out an extra fee for travel-our reception was in Racine. The guys were very professional and fun. They were great!

We saw DJ express do two of our friends' weddings before ours, so for us this was a no-brainer. Just from reading over our playlist, Jeff understood that we really wanted an awesome dance party for our reception, hip-hop/top40 style - and he sure delivered! Their lights & effects and diverse music selection was exactly what we were looking for! AND, he staunchly refused to play any music on our "do not play" list! :) Even better, Jeff was very accommodating; we had an evening ceremony with cocktail/hors d'eouvres reception immediately following - Jeff arrived a couple hours before he was scheduled to start, just to set up and play our ceremony music for us - all just to help out! We couldn't be happier with our experience with DJ Express - I highly recommend you give them a try! :)

DJ Express is a great choice if you are on a tight budget. A friend of mine recommended them after her wedding, and I'm glad I decided on choosing them for my wedding as well. They play a good mix of music and are very open to song requests.

They did a great job of getting the crowd involved on the dance floor, and were very friendly. Everyone had a great time! DJ Express is an exceptional value, too. They came recommended by our venue so we checked them out. They were easy to work with and checked what we wanted, both before the wedding, and before the imporant events that day to make sure we were both on the same page. Everyone stayed dancing, and they played songs we liked as well as following requests. I was really pleased with how they did the orgainized dances, like the genereation dance. They made it a special night beginning with cocktail and background music through the last dance.

I thought they did a great job listening to what we wanted and didn't want played. They checked with us to be sure it was ok to play a song requested or to do an involvement song with the crowd before they went ahead if they weren't sure if it was something we would like or not. The sound was great and they kept people on the dance floor all night. Overall I was very pleased especially considering what some other DJs charge for not as good of service.
