We serve the DuBois, Pittsburgh, Altoona, State College, Erie, Johnstown areas and all of Western and Central PA. Also Parts of OH, NY, MD and WV. We have shows available 7 nights/days a week for any social occasion and specialize in wedding receptions. We offer several packages, each with options to fit your wedding.
All wedding packages include announcements, dinner music, planning, requests, MC services, and dance floor lighting. We also offer Professional Photo Booth, and elegant add-on's such as Uplighting, Monogram Projections, Ceremony Music and Video Presentations

y were very thoughtful for the entire planning process and made sure we did not have to stress about anything the day of our wedding. We went with the Ceremony, reception and photobooth from DJ Madd Maxx and our DJ Super Stew was wonderful throughout our wedding day. They were able to get every song we ask for and even were able to play a lot of the requests made throughout the night. We had a firework display during our reception and they were able to play outdoor music during the display. We cannot recommend DJ mad Maxx and DJ Super Stew enough.

ke some last-minute changes without issue and everything on our wedding day was absolutely perfect! He played everything we requested, was very professional, and made announcements when we needed. He had the equipment to play music in different rooms since we had the ceremony/reception in a separate location than the cocktail hour, which eased our stress. The photobooth was a huge hit that came with SO many hilarious props, and we even got a scrapbook with copies of everyone’s pictures at the end of the night! DJ Mad Maxx was great and entertained our guests the entire night between the great music and the photobooth! I would definitely recommend booking DJ Mad Maxx!!

layed the wrong song. When it was brought to his attention (while the first bridesmaid was already walking down the aisle) he told the other bridesmaids “I was never given that song, there isn’t anything we can do now”. The songs were confirmed via phone prior to the ceremony. Mistakes carried into the reception. He forgot to introduce the Grooms parents during introductions into the reception, had the order of the bridesmaid incorrect and pronounced names wrong. Names were phonetically spelled and pronunciation was confirmed before he introduced the wedding party yet he still made mistakes. Once’s the mistake of forgetting to introduce the Grooms parents he proceeded to say “for those of you who didn’t hear.....”. It wasn’t a matter of mishearing or lack there of. He simply didn’t do it. During the first dance he played the wrong song. Luckily the bride looked past his mistakes at the time and enjoyed her day. She was beautiful.

ered uplighting because we didn't have enough outlets at my venue, so that's a plus that he has the backup equipment and was prepared. His equipment and footprint are small and tasteful and go with any decor. We had one small disconnect when it became necessary for him to leave the venue to deal with an offsite issue, but nobody in the wedding party was notified so we were kinda on our own for the dinner announcements/prayer etc. and had to figure out the microphone situation. One other drawback, which others may see as a benefit, is there is not really much communication prior to the big day-- I had to initiate a lot of the conversations regarding plans and the song sheets etc, but he was responsive when prompted. Maxx kept the party going and played every song we wanted, he helped make our day ultra special, I would merely suggest working on the communication. Thanks for a great night, Maxx!!!
We booked mad maxx after hearing him at a family members wedding. Max went above and beyond what we expected. A bunch of people even commented on how good he was!
