I started as a college radio DJ at The University of Toledo, commercial radio DJ at The Juice FM 107.3, and now corporate events, and wedding reception DJ! What sets me apart from the rest is my ability to mc, my club mixing skills, music videos, and wireless uplighting! We booked ONE TYME for our wedding ceremony and reception and he absolutely KILLED IT. He’ll play any song you want and he is a great host. All of our friends said they felt like they were back in college with his song choices and music videos playing on his big screen! He is so easy to work with and very professional. DJ One Tyme is the best choice you will make for you whole wedding! He DJ'd mine at the Guardian in Detroit and I've been getting compliments everyday since about how great a job he did. Even the caterers and photographers thought so! He was professional, responded promptly, his pricing was competitive, and his web portal was easy to use. At the event he played all our favorite requests and filled in with more great hits. His mixing from song to song was top notch and his ability to read the vibe of the dance floor was on point. Our guests were dancing till the very last minute! I plan to recommend him to everyone I know. Our wedding day was perfect and a huge part of that is owed to DJ ONE TYME, he really is a hero for hire!

He is thorough in his process leading up to the wedding to make sure that the music and atmosphere is everything you want for your big day. DjOne Tyme was our DJ for our wedding at Nazareth hall on May 20th, 2023. He did an absolutely perfect job. During the ceremony, he mixed the music to work perfectly so that the specific songs we wanted played at the absolute perfect times. He announced everything through the whole day to keep the day organized and fun. He mixed all the songs the whole night making it so much fun the whole night which was exactly why the dance floor was full the entire night. The Photo Booth was such a fun add and everyone loved the photos and videos they got from it. We could not recommend him more!!

CANNOT RECOMMEND DJ ONE TYME ENOUGH! Before hiring him, we had a great call to chat on what we are looking for, if he had experience at our venue (he did - and has been ALL over NW Ohio!) and make sure he was a great fit for us, which he was, and I think he would be adaptable to any couple's vibes/needs. Before the wedding, he was helpful with all of our questions as they popped up, and his portal was user-friendly to add our requests and various details. On wedding day, HE AND HIS TEAMMATE WERE AMAZING!!!! The ceremony audio was great, cocktail hour and dinner were the EXACT music vibes we wanted, and the dancefloor was ON FIRE! It's worth noting too that DJ One Tyme was EXTREMELY good at fielding requests from our friends and family - he knew EXACTLY what he was doing, mixed all night (from Smack That to Dancing Queen, he MADE IT ALL WORK) and we got SO many compliments!! 10/10 everyone should book DJ One Tyme!

In my opinion, a DJ can make or break a wedding. Thankfully for my husband and I, we decided to hire DJ OneTyme. Not only DJ OneTyme and his crew were incredibly kind and professional, they were an absolute blast to work with. People have been complimenting us with what a great job the DJ did, and we are sure to tell them, it was all our king, DJ OneTyme. DJ One Tyme did an AMAZING job at my wedding. He got every single cue for my ceremony, at perfect volume, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. He kept the party going all night long, played perfect music (even though I didn't give him a ton of direction to go in) and was responsive to changing plans throughout the night. He was attentive, fun, and friendly. The kids absolutely loved the photo booth and I have over 300 pictures from it! I hope I have a party in the future so I can hire DJ One Tyme again. The BEST DJ in Toledo!! We had been to three of his wedding receptions before, and knew we had to have him for our wedding. I only gave DJ One Tyme songs we wanted for our first dances, last dance, and entrances and the rest was up to him. I asked him to keep people on the dance floor and he did not disappoint!! Many of our guests said we had the best reception they'd ever been to! Highly recommend booking DJ One Tyme!!

He has so many extras that he offers uplighting, photo booth, picture slide show and allows you to taylor the music of your choice for him to play at your wedding. Could not imagine our night being as awesome as it was if it was not for this amazing DJ! He engages with the crowd, took song requests and played almost everything we asked for! Typical me being last minute, I sent him photos for a slide show the morning of and he still put together a great slide show for us! He also helped with a very special slide show in honor of my dad. There is absolutely no one better than DJ One Tyme. EVERY single event he has lead, has been a freaking blast!! I have been to many. In my opinion, a wedding DJ is the one who will control the wedding evening fun so it is an important investment and decision. You will have no regrets hiring DJ ONE TYME! He has an online client planning area that is very user friendly and is very quick with response times. When it came event time, I had a hard time breaking away from the dance floor and my guests follow up comments were that they were sore from all of the dancing! We are trying to think of another reason to have a party so we can dance with DJ ONE TYME!!

He did an amazing job, definitely worth booking!! He actually DJs (read the crowd and the energy) and everyone was loving it. We didn’t have enough room on our dance floor the entire not, and that is not an exaggeration. He also had an awesome website that allows you to detail every timeline or song of your event, which he follows. He also came up to me multiple times during my reception asking if I was ready to do the next thing/announcement. I really can’t say enough great things about him, he knows what he’s doing and you can trust him to make your night awesome!

Coming from two different cultures, my wife and I wanted to find someone to DJ our wedding that could accommodate both English & Spanish music. Up until the wedding, he was quick to answer all of the questions we had and always responds to every email we sent immediately. On the day of the wedding, he created a perfect balance of English and Spanish for both of our families to dance to. The energy he gave during the wedding entrances, the dances, etc was exactly what we were looking for and was very accompanying to music requests during the wedding. He maintained a very upbeat attitude and that definitely reflected in the DJ set. We loved that he came with his own photo booth and had someone there to assist with helping people take pictures. My wife and I also loved that we were able to get copies of all the photos taken in the photo booth to add to our wedding photos as memories to look back on. I would definitely use him again in any event I would need a DJ and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding!

My review is a little late but better late than never right! DJ One Thyme was the perfect DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception . While not the big bash we thought it would be (I mean pandemic, am I right?) he made the party feel large and in charge. He was professional with all the formalities answering questions and giving input. My over exhausted bride to be brain was done about two weeks out. I sent him a message telling I’m just that and to put his spin on the few things I just couldn’t come up anything for. The day of our wedding he picked something perfect. I will recommend him for any type of party. Wedding, school dance, graduation party... you name it. Even my venue staff, officiant and photographer mentioned they loved working with him. DJ One Thyme is the man!!!

EXCELLENT! We had a very untraditional ceremony and DJ Onetyme MC’d both our wedding and reception. Vibe was Roaring 20s / Harlem Renaissance. Onetyme was very flexible, professional and responsive. Which was no easy task as he was asked to cater to a broad musical catalog (country, blues, jazz, pop, R&B and hip hop) as well as a broad range of ages (guests ranging from 5-85.) He helped to make our gathering lively, exciting and fun. As well as keeping both the ceremony and reception timelines to schedule. If you’re on the fence about the selfie station... don’t be! Spend the money! It was one of the highlights of the reception. 😊 We can’t thank you enough! Super well done! A +++

DJ One Tyme was AMAZING. We are still getting compliments about our DJ. He was SO professional, so flexible, and did such a great job reading the crowd to pick songs everyone loved. Our dance floor was packed the whole night and everyone had a blast. We didn’t have a last dance song picked out, so he played Piano Man and brought everyone to the dance floor to form a circle around us as we danced to the last song of our wedding night. That is a memory I will cherish forever. Also, as someone who thought we didn’t need it at first, I cannot say enough good things about the uplighting. It transformed our venue into something So magical I couldn’t have even dreamed it would look so good! DJ One Tyme was amazing. He did the music for my daughter’s ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! He was right on cue for the wedding. He kept the reception moving along and kept people on the dance floor all night long. Our guest also loved him and complimented him all night as well. He also provides up lighting for both the ceremony and the reception which really added to the ambiance to the venue. Eric also provides the mic used during the ceremony and the officiant, bride and groom could be heard by all during the wedding. DJ One Time was absolutely wonderful for our wedding. From day 1 of planning up to wedding day, he made everything so easy. He has an online planning form that is very user friendly and allowed us to be as specific or as non-specific as we wanted to be. We threw in several wrenches on the day of (I.e: special dances and a surprise dance) and he handled them with ease. He kept the atmosphere alive. He went with the feel of the crowd. And if the crowd wasn’t feeling a song, he easily transitioned to the next. He has a feel for people and music. If we could do it all over again, we would pick DJ One Time over anyone else. Book DJ One Tyme now! Seriously, stop looking elsewhere. The DJ is definitely the most important thing for a great wedding reception and it's very stressful trying to pick the right one. DJ One Tyme was very easy to work with, answered all my questions, and definitely did not disappoint. Numerous people have told us our wedding reception was the most fun they've ever been to, and all the credit goes to DJ One Tyme. Once the reception officially started, there was not one song where the dance floor was not packed.

DJ One Tyme was incredible! He was very responsive and made the day-of a breeze. There were many "surprises" my bridal party did for me and he accommodated everything. The dance floor was always filled with people dancing and he created a wide genre of music requests. 10/10 would use him again!

Dj one time did a good job keeping the reception flowing and making announcements. He can find you anything you want and I mean anything, I had some obsure choices on my list. He was able to keep a good mix of music between big band and romantic songs in the beginning during dinner and then switching to edm dance later. Once in the dance mix he is highly skilled in switching between songs and putting songs that flow together well. I wish the party could have lasted longer, but everyone had to go to work on Monday. His online forms help you set everything up even if your an extremely busy couple like we were, however dj onetyme was friendly and more than willing to meet up to discus the plans.
